Abstract

The students are unfamiliar with the translation method, so the quality of their translation still needs to improve. It impacts the need for more messages convey in the English text they translate. The method of oblique translation is examined in this thesis. It attempts to establish the effectiveness of the Oblique Translation Method in raising the caliber of the English translations produced by the MTs Negeri 2 Wonosobo students who study in the PIQ Hidayatul Qur'an. The research methodology is a qualitative method, which is written by descriptive analysis. This study compares translation outcomes from the source language to the target language in the analysis units. The researcher uses the 8th and 9th grader students as the instrument of this research. In this research, the writer finds the result that shows the amount of data found in implementing the oblique translation method. The data is analyzed through a translation theory stated by Vinay and Darbelnet (1958). The researcher compared the experimental translation results (post-test and pre-test) also a few interviews from the object research. The sample in this study is MTs Negeri 2 Wonosobo students who lived at PIQ Hidayatul Qur'an Wonosobo. The data results of this study, with the score for the practical course (Oblique Translation Method) being 7.5, included in the category of moderately effective. The results show a difference between learning the Oblique Translation Method and without using it. Keywords: translation, student's translation quality, oblique translation method.

Abstract

اللهجة السودانية هي من أنواع اللهجة في الجزيرة العربية، لا تستخدم اللهجة السودانية في السودان فقط ولكن في تشاد أيضًا ،هذه اللهجة فريدة من حيث أنها قريبة إلى لهجة أهل الحجاز الذين هم متحدثون أصليون للغة العربية ,اللهجة السودانية لها تأثير كبير على الطلاب الإندونيسيين الذين يدرسون هناك، لذا الاهتمام بالدراسة المتعمقة مهم عن اللهجةوفي المجلة بالعنون "تأثير اللهجة السودانية في تعليم اللغة العربية للطلاب الإندونيسيين بجامعة القرآن الكريم وعلوم الإسلامية أم درمان "، أن طريقة البحث المستخدمة هي البحث النوعي جمع البيانات: يستخدم هذا البحث تقنيات مختلفة لجمع البيانات النوعية، مثل المقابلات المتعمقة مع الطلاب الإندونيسيين في جامعة القران الكريم و علوم الإسلامية، أم درمان، وملاحظة المشاركين، وتحليل الوثائق تحليل البيانات: تم تحليل البيانات التي تم جمعها في هذا البحث وصفيا وموضوعيا. يستخدم التحليل الوصفيالنتائيج، فهي كما يلي: تم تعليم اللغة العربية في الجامعات السودانية بشكل غير رسمي. يتعلم الطلاب الأندونيسيون اللغة العربية بشكل طبيعي في بيئة اللغة العربية في الجامعة القران الكريم و علوم الإسلامية، أم درمان، سودان.

Abstract

This study was conducted in order to describe the strengthening of NU cultural values through the tradition of napak tilas (retracement) pilgrimage to the tomb of Al Maghfurlah KH. Muntaha Al Hafidz especially for female students of Roudlotul Huffadz, Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Asy'ariyah Pusat Kalibeber Wonosobo. Pilgrimage to the grave is one of the NU traditions that is still carried out today. Looking at the rapid development of the era with various forms of influence on the young generation who are growing up in instability, pilgrimage to the grave becomes a practice that can be used as a habit for students to become a fortress from the negative impacts of the surrounding environment. The tradition of Napak Tilas functions as a medium to strengthen the cultural values of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) among female students. The pilgrimage to the tomb of KH. Muntaha is not only intended to commemorate the ulama figure, but also as a means of spiritual and cultural education that instills awareness of the importance of appreciating Islamic teachings and NU traditions. This study uses a qualitative approach to analyze the impact of these activities on the identity of students and the preservation of NU values in the pesantren environment. Interviews and observations are the methods of data collection for this study. The results show that this tradition strengthens a sense of togetherness, fosters a spirit of learning, and increases students' love for their cultural heritage

Abstract

This article examines the importance of incorporating the Ndolalak Dance in Islamic-based multicultural education as a step to preserve local culture and build student character. The Ndolalak dance, which originates from Purworejo, is a traditional art form that not only displays the beauty of movement but also contains moral and spiritual values that align with Islamic teachings. In the context of multicultural education, this dance functions as a means of introducing cultural diversity and supporting understanding of the principles of tolerance and mutual respect between cultures. Through interactive and fun learning, students not only learn dance techniques, but also understand the meaning and symbolism contained in the Ndolalak Dance.This article also highlights various teaching methods that can be used to integrate this dance into the curriculum, such as organizing workshops, performances, and discussions regarding cultural and religious values. Furthermore, this article explains how the incorporation of Ndolalak Dance in education can contribute to the development of student character, including discipline, cooperation, and love of local culture. By involving the community and educational stakeholders, it is hoped that cultural preservation through Islamic-based multicultural education can be implemented effectively and have a positive impact onthe younger generation in understanding and appreciating diversity. Overall, this article emphasizes that the incorporation of Ndolalak Dance in Islamic multicultural education not only functions to preserve culture but also as a strategy to form strong character, thereby creating a harmonious and mutually respectful society amidst diversity

Abstract

The paradigm of self or person experiences significant differences. The influence of Platonic philosophy and also Gnosticism understands a person dichotomously. Apart from that, the Christian faith understands the self or person as a complete entity and identity where the spirit, soul and body unite and complement each other. By using a critical review of literature studies on Soul care, this research reveals firstly, the incarnation and ministry of Jesus and legitimizes the state of the three entities in the self or person as a complete and integrated identity. Second, the space of soul care covers all aspects of self or person in a small scope, as well as family and environment in a large scope. Third, the transformation of life on the pilgrimage of faith in and the practice of soul care depends on each person's choice.

Abstract

This research will analyze the effectiveness and determine the obstacles and solutions in implementing the BTA program at MTs N 1 Sumbang. MTs Ma'arif NU 1 Sumbang is one of the private junior secondary education institutions in Banyumas, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion. Reading and Writing the Al-Qur'an (BTA) is a mandatory program for grade 9. This research is qualitative research with descriptive methods, where data obtained from the field is described and presented in the form of written narratives. This qualitative research was chosen to describe and analyze in depth the phenomena related to the implementation of the BTA program at MTs Ma'arif NU 1 Sumbang. This research resulted that MTs Ma'arif NU Sumbang requires grade 9 students to carry out BTA every time they come home from school, namely 13.20-13.20 on Monday to Thursday. BTA was carried out with the usual courtesy, and then we tried to use a new approach using different methods, learning media, and duration. Obstacles that occur include students not paying attention, chatting alone, playing on their cellphones, or running away. Our solution is to approach the students and give them a warning. If they want to run away, the teacher will prevent them. Apart from that, they were also given motivation to be enthusiastic and were informed of the significance of the learning that would be carried out on that day. In 13 meetings, there were 16 children who we considered were able to continue from Iqro to al-Qur'an.

Abstract

Learning to recite the Qur’an in the Qur'anic Education Park (TPQ) is important in the formation of the Qur'anic generation. However, differences in the ability of students and limited resources are often a challenge. One of the solutions applied at TPQ Manzilussakinah Candiroto, Candimulyo, Kertek, Wonosobo is the application of individual guidance patterns. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation, obstacles, and supporting factors of the application of individual guidance patterns in learning to recite the Qur’an. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that individual guidance allows teachers to provide personalized attention according to the ability of students, so that students more quickly understand makhraj, tajweed, and become more confident in reciting the Qur’an. It is known that this method strengthens the emotional involvement of teachers and students and creates a more conducive learning atmosphere. Although there are obstacles such as lack of parental involvement, the influence of gadgets, and time constraints, success is still achieved thanks to the support of competent teachers, the enthusiasm of students, and adequate learning facilities. In conclusion, the individual guidance pattern is proven to be effective and worthy of wider application in Qur'anic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Arabic language learning method based on hybrid learning at the University of Quranic Sciences (UNSIQ). Using a descriptive qualitative approach and case study design, the research explores the implementation, characteristics, and challenges of hybrid learning models in Arabic language education. Data collection methods include participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research findings demonstrate that the hybrid model at UNSIQ integrates face-to-face and online learning, resulting in an innovative pedagogical approach that enhances students' Arabic language competence. The findings reveal the advantages of the hybrid model, such as learning flexibility, digital skill development, and increased learning motivation. However, the study also identifies significant challenges, including technological infrastructure limitations, variations in digital competence among lecturers and students, and curriculum design complexities. The research concludes that hybrid learning models have the potential to transform Arabic language education, with the note that institutional support, continuous development, and multi-stakeholder commitment are necessary for successful implementation.

Abstract

Many methods have been created to facilitate learning to read and memorize the Qur'an, one of which is the Ummi method. It is interesting to study the implications of this method for memorizers of the Qur'an. This article uses a qualitative descriptive research type with data sources from interviews, observations and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively with data reduction, presentation and validation steps. The research results show that the implications of the Ummi method in learning the Tahfidz Qur'an, which show positive results, with 19 students completing Juz 29 and 30, are evidence that this method is effective in improving the ability to memorize and understand the Qur'an. These findings confirm that this method has the potential to be an effective and reliable Tahfidz learning method. Recommendations for the development of this method for the future are suggested based on the findings of existing analysis data such as strengthening the duration of practice, variations in methods, or increasing individual guidance for students who have difficulty.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the learning of Al-Qur'an memorization as a leading program at MTs Al Ghozaly Siwatu Wonosobo. This field research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis. The results of the study indicate that the Al-Qur'an memorization program at MTs Al Ghozaly Siwatu Wonosobo has been running in a structured manner for three years, with varied learning methods and a continuous evaluation system. The success of this program is supported by a religious Islamic boarding school environment, competent tahfidz teachers, an integrated curriculum, as well as student motivation and active support from parents. The existence of a tahfidz quarantine program as a continuation for outstanding students shows the institution's commitment to producing Al-Qur'an memorizers continuously. This program not only improves students' memorization abilities, but also forms positive characters of discipline, responsibility, and sincerity. As a leading program, Al-Qur'an memorization has become the identity of the madrasah and the main attraction for the community towards Islamic education based on character and spirituality. We support the sustainability of the program, madrasahs are advised to improve infrastructure and develop an evaluation system that touches on aspects of understanding and implementing the values of the Qur'an. Teachers are expected to continue to develop methods that are in accordance with the character of students and strengthen relationships with parents, students need to maintain enthusiasm in memorizing. Further research is recommended to expand the study of the long-term impact of the tahfidz program, as well as to establish collaboration with other tahfidz institutions as an effort to strengthen the quality of Islamic education based on the Qur'an.
