Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explore effective digital marketing strategies for enhancing thrift clothing sales in the era of information technology. With the rapid development of technology and increasing market competition, businesses that previously relied solely on social media platforms like Instagram now need to adapt by utilizing more professional e-commerce platforms. This research compares specific thrift platforms with websites using CMS Prestashop in attracting consumer attention. The methods employed include observation, interviews, and literature reviews, aiming to understand the interaction patterns between sellers and buyers, as well as the operational dynamics within thrift businesses. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for entrepreneurs in formulating more effective digital marketing strategies, thereby increasing competitiveness and sustainability in an increasingly competitive market.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of PrestaShop in website development, marketing and logistics at the SS Galery Rantauprapat store. PrestaShop is an e-commerce platform designed to make it easier to create and manage online stores with features that support sales, including product management, payment systems, and sales analysis. In the context of SS Gallery, the implementation of PrestaShop aims to increase operational efficiency and expand market reach. The implementation process begins with designing a website that is responsive and user-friendly, allowing customers to access product information easily. The e-marketing features in PrestaShop are also used to increase product promotions, attract more customers and increase their loyalty. In addition, an integrated logistics system helps in managing goods delivery efficiently, reducing customer waiting time. The results of this research show that using PrestaShop not only increases sales productivity but also simplifies the marketing process and logistics management. In this way, SS Galery Rantauprapat can compete better in an increasingly competitive digital market. This research provides insight for other business actors about the importance of information technology in supporting business growth in the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology encourages the importance of developing digital literacy in students. This study aims to reveal the relationship between digital literacy and student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Painan. Quantitative research methods with simple random sampling techniques were used in this study. Data analysis was carried out using normality, homogeneity, linearity, and Pearson correlation tests. The results of the study showed a positive relationship between digital literacy and student learning outcomes, although the correlation found was relatively weak (r = 0.372, p < 0.05). This finding indicates that increasing digital literacy can contribute to improving student learning outcomes. However, further research is needed with more specific variables to reveal the influence of digital literacy in more depth. The results of this study provide important implications for the development of curriculum and learning that integrates digital literacy to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The problems at SMKN 1 Batusangkar in selecting students who are entitled to receive scholarships require a very long time and are inefficient, namely the committee will examine the document files submitted by students so that this makes it difficult for school administration staff to determine which students are entitled to receive assistance. and takes a long time in the selection process. A decision support system is an interactive system capable of making decisions through the use of data and decision models to solve semi-structured or unstructured problems. The method used in this design is a Decision Support System (SPK), namely the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). System design is made with a modeling language using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The Technique For Others References By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method was chosen which considered the positive and negative ideal solutions. In testing the system in this study using black box testing, white box testing and beta testing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the queuing system and optimize services at Indomaret Padang Bulan Rantauprapat. Using the Multi-Channel Single-Phase queue model, the research identifies service levels and the optimal number of cashiers needed to minimize customer waiting time, especially during peak hours. Data was collected through direct observation over three days, between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with the highest arrival rate observed from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Calculations were conducted using QM for Windows software. The analysis results show an average server utilization rate of 17%, with nearly zero waiting time, indicating sufficient service capacity. These findings demonstrate that with two efficiently operated cashiers, Indomaret can provide optimal services without long queues, making it one of the retail stores with the best service system.

Abstract

The queuing system at BRILink Elvi Juliani on Jalan Sirandorung, Rantauprapat, uses the M/M/1 queuing model to optimize banking services. Data were obtained from observations during one operational day, involving analysis of customer arrivals and service times. The results showed that the average number of customers in the system (LS) was 0.065 customers, while the average number of customers in the queue (Lq) was 0.0004 customers, indicating a very minimal queue. The average customer waiting time in the system (Ws) was recorded at 3 minutes, with an average waiting time in the queue (Wq) of 1.8 minutes. The service busyness level (ρ) was 6.13%, indicating that the service capacity was still sufficient. With high service efficiency, this study provides insight into improving the quality of BRILink services, especially in handling higher customer volumes in the future.

Abstract

Using the simplex method linear program operational research technique in the photocopy business is a smart strategy for optimizing business profits to become more efficient, by making better use of resources. In this article, we will discuss how to optimize service price profits, which is an important aspect in small and medium business management, especially in the field of printing services. This article discusses factors that influence the price profitability of photocopying services, including the cost of photocopying services. This research also explores customer interest in set prices. The method used involves a survey of photocopying service providers in certain areas, as well as data analysis of operational costs and commonly applied price structures. The results show that maximum competitive pricing benefits can be achieved with operational efficiency and a deep understanding of customer preferences. From the analysis carried out, it is proven that operational research techniques provide practical and easy to implement solutions. As a result, the photocopy business can be more competitive and survive amidst increasingly fierce competition

Abstract

Queues are an unavoidable phenomenon today, manufacturing and service companies are required to be able to reduce queues in providing their services to customers. The development of the food and beverage industry is currently growing very rapidly. The food and beverage industry is still a mainstay for Indonesia's economic growth and was able to grow by 8.41% in 2018. Mixue is a food and beverage industry, the current problem is the dense queues that occur so that there is a buildup of customers and a long waiting time to be served. This data was taken for 2 days, October 20 and 26, 2024 at 12:00-22:00. The results of this study indicate that the queue system that occurs at Mixue is not optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the queuing system at Miniso's services in Suzuya Mall Rantauprapat, focusing on queue patterns, service efficiency, and optimization solutions. Using the M/M/1 queue theory model, the study reveals an imbalance in service capacity, especially during peak hours, leading to increased customer waiting times and decreased satisfaction levels. Proposed solutions include adding more cashiers, implementing an electronic queue system, and scheduling work shifts based on data. These strategies are expected to reduce waiting times, enhance operational efficiency, and provide a better customer experience.

Abstract

As digital technology accelerates, information systems are the main foundation in helping organizations achieve success. These systems support businesses and institutions in adapting to technological innovations and maintaining competitiveness. This study reviews the importance of the role of information systems in digital transformation in various sectors, such as business, education, health, and government. With a qualitative approach through literature studies, this study evaluates the contribution of integrated information systems to operational efficiency, data-based decision making, innovation, and increased customer satisfaction. The results show that organizations that are consistent in developing modern information systems have advantages in terms of productivity and adaptive capabilities. This study also highlights the need for alignment between information system strategy and organizational goals for maximum impact. In the context of the digital economy, effective information management is a key differentiator. Therefore, investing in reliable and future-oriented information systems is a strategic need.
