Abstract

The application of Islamic values ​​to character education to build a generation with noble character focuses on several important issues. First, there are difficulties in integrating Islamic values ​​in depth into an already busy curriculum, thereby limiting time and space for character education. This often happens. This research uses a library research approach. The main data sources for this research include scientific journal articles and related research reports. According to research, the first form of applying Islamic values ​​to character education in order to build a generation with noble character is through incorporating Islamic values ​​into the curriculum and through daily activities such as prayer and reading the Koran. The role of the teacher as a role model Values ​​such as honesty, responsibility and compassion are instilled in shaping students' character. Second, the application of Islamic values ​​in character education is urgently needed to build a generation with noble morals. In the midst of the influence of modernization, the application of Islamic values ​​will lead to the formation of strong, important morals. These values ​​help students build a strong moral and social identity, thereby supporting their positive contribution to society. Third, the challenges of implementing Islamic values ​​in character education to build a generation with noble character include diverse student backgrounds, limited curriculum and resources, as well as external influences such as the media and the environment. Overcoming these obstacles and maintaining the integrity of Islamic character education requires the cooperation of schools, families and communities.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental need for every individual to develop abilities and skills. Primary schools play an important role in developing students' basic abilities, skills and attitudes that will continue at the next level of education. However, there are still students who experience difficulties that ultimately have an impact on students' academic achievements. This study aims to identify the factors that cause learning difficulties in students at SD Negeri Lidah Wetan II/462. This research uses qualitative methods with interviews and observations of teachers and students. The results showed that students have difficulties in literacy, numeracy, and material comprehension. Low motivation, unsupportive environment, and lack of parental attention are some of the factors of learning difficulties. Teachers have an important role in overcoming these difficulties through individual approaches, remediation, enrichment, motivation and even observation. Some teachers also felt that there was a lack of support from either the government or the school in specialised training or mentoring to deal with learning difficulties due to developmental disorders. This research confirms that cooperation between teachers and parents is needed to overcome the problem of learning difficulties in students. With a deep understanding of the causes of learning difficulties, teachers can provide effective solutions to improve students' academic achievement.

Abstract

Peer assessment is an evaluation method that involves students in assessing the performance of their peers. This study aims to explore the viewpoints of students of the Food Technology Study Program at Universitas PGRI Wiranegara towards the application of group assessment in a group context. The application of the peer assessment method is expected to provide a new perspective in a learning evaluation system that is more comprehensive and involves the active role of students. This qualitative research involved students from batch 2022 to 2024 with data collection through an online questionnaire. The results revealed three key findings: (1) students perceive peer assessment as a driver of increased responsibility and active participation in the group, (2) this method motivates students to contribute more optimally in group assignments, and (3) there are some challenges in the form of concerns about objectivity and potential conflicts between members. The findings provide important insights into how peer assessment can be implemented into the learning process to improve the quality of group work. The implications of this study suggest that peer assessment can be applied as an alternative evaluation method in various courses in the Food Technology Study Program to enhance collaborative learning.

Abstract

With increasing competition in the world of education, especially in the era of globalization and digitalization, educational institutions inevitably have to adopt appropriate promotional strategies to attract prospective students. This research aims to find out how to manage communication programs, alternative communication techniques, promotional design, marketing publications and advertising educational services. This research method uses a literature-based approach to analyze promotion and communication strategies for educational services. This research found that an effective communication program will strengthen the reputation of educational institutions and build public trust, combining various communication methods can be a good alternative communication technique, through careful planning, promotional design will be able to attract attention and achieve the marketing goals of educational institutions, publications marketing helps strengthen relationships with prospective students and parents and improves the institution's reputation amidst competition, and overall, advertising educational services is important in increasing the visibility, reputation and attractiveness of the institution amidst increasingly fierce competition. The benefits of this research are expected to be able to increase awareness of institutions in promoting and communicating the services they offer, can become a reference for making strategies, and become an evaluation and improvement for the progress of educational institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia faces various challenges that require curriculum improvement to produce a generation that is intelligent, generous, and capable of competing internationally. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is a strategic step that provides students with the freedom to choose learning materials that align with their interests, thereby enhancing their engagement and understanding. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Merdeka Curriculum on basic competencies and learning outcomes, particularly regarding diversity and local wisdom.The research employs a Systematic Literature Review method, which involves identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing relevant studies. A search in the Google Scholar database yielded 83 relevant articles, from which 13 were selected for in-depth analysis, ultimately narrowing down to five articles that fit the discussion theme. The findings indicate that culture-based and character education not only strengthen individual identity but also preserve cultural heritage and provide practical skills beneficial for students.Overall, it is essential for Indonesia's education system to continuously adapt and innovate to meet contemporary challenges and produce future generations ready to face the world.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) determine the motivation of students to learn in the food and beverage business management course, 2) determine the improvement of students' skills in the food and beverage business management course. The research method used in this study is classroom action research with a project based learning approach model through 2 cycles. The sample in this study was 38 students with a sampling technique using the purposive sample method. The data collection technique was by using questionnaires and observations. The data analysis used was descriptive, namely by describing the results of the questionnaire diagram. The results of the study obtained were in the high category according to the benchmark assessment (PAP). It can be described as follows, namely in critical thinking there was an increase of 40% from 50% to 90%, in creativity from 55% to 93% for a sharp increase in communication from 40% to 89%, collaboration from 40% to 83%, connection from 45% to 80%. Students' learning motivation in carrying out learning cannot be separated from the desire and desire to succeed and the appreciation in learning given by lecturers in the form of good grades and appreciation. Motivation will cause a person to want to know, act, understand, believe, or acquire certain knowledge, skills, attitudes, or values.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of outlining the challenges that exist in the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Krian, the most important of which is the understanding and implementation of the project to strengthen the Pancasila profile and differentiated learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method which uses non-numerical data and does not carry out statistical analysis, conventional. The challenge in implementing the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Krian is that teachers prepare more media for learning. However, not all teachers are in the creative zone, but some teachers are still in the comfort zone so that learning still uses conventional media. In the implementation of the independent curriculum, there are 2 distinctive features, namely, differentiated learning and the project to strengthen the p5 Pancasila profile. Differentiated learning adapts several student learning needs, for example auditory, kinesthetic, and visual learning styles. In addition, there is a mistake in the P5 goal which should have focused on character development rather than the final product. This study shows the challenges of implementing the independent curriculum which includes teachers providing more learning media. Differentiated learning focuses on the learning needs of students who consider auditory, kinesthetic, and visual learning styles.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are two important main resources used to support student learning processes in schools. The independent curriculum is a curriculum that is taught in class in various flexible ways, so that students are given the opportunity to practice their knowledge of these subjects through various learning methods. The aim of this research is to understand the urgency and strengths and weaknesses of existing infrastructure. is in the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Taman. This observational research is included in the type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The instrument used was a questionnaire via Google Form which was given to class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Taman. The results of research conducted through observation show a lack of support for facilities and infrastructure from the school and teaching staff in implementing the independent curriculum program, such as inadequate facilities and less relevant access to learning resources in the school environment, thus creating a significant obstacle to achieving the goals. from the independent curriculum. Therefore, the government needs to work together with schools to consider having an independent curriculum in order to address supply issues both in terms of facilities and infrastructure as well as teacher preparation and to ensure resources are evenly distributed across educational institutions to achieve the goals of the independent curriculum itself by implementing This is their policy towards the independent curriculum running optimally.

Abstract

21st-century learning demands innovation and creativity in teaching practices. In its implementation, educators need the skill to choose approaches that align with the characteristics of 21st-century students. Learning approaches can be used as a strategy to create an effective and inclusive learning environment. This research examines the optimization of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in the context of 21st-century learning, with a focus on the importance of recognizing the cultural diversity of students. The condition of Indonesia's diversity presents both challenges and opportunities in the educational process. The diverse conditions of students present a challenge for educators in achieving equality in learning facilities. Thus, with the implementation of the CRT approach, it is expected to enhance student engagement, learning outcomes, and the creation of an inclusive learning climate. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, by searching and analyzing related literature from various academic sources over the past five years. Data analysis was conducted by reviewing several identified journals, followed by generalization for deeper analysis. The research results show that the application of the CRT approach not only creates an inclusive learning environment but also encourages the development of students' social and academic skills. These findings underscore the need to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, as well as provide practical recommendations for educators to implement them effectively.

Abstract

Universities face increasingly fierce competition in attracting new students amidst changes in technology and societal preferences. An effective service marketing strategy is the key to increasing competitiveness and maintaining the existence of higher education institutions. This research aims to identify relevant marketing strategies, analyze their success factors, and provide recommendations based on a literature review. Data was collected from various literature sources that discuss the main elements of service marketing, such as branding, digital marketing, and service quality, using content analysis methods. The research results show that appropriate market segmentation, customer relationship management (CRM), and the use of digital technology, such as social media and data-based marketing, are the main factors in increasing the attractiveness of higher education. Additionally, a strong branding strategy and improving service quality play an important role in building reputation and creating a positive experience for students. These findings underline the importance of marketing innovation integrated with technology and improving academic and non-academic services to strengthen institutional competitiveness in an increasingly dynamic higher education market.
