Abstract

To obtain a good aggregate mixture, efforts are made to keep the gradation of the aggregate mixture in the middle of its specification range. Based on road reconstruction work on section N-029.1 Bts. Regency. Muaro Jambi / Kab. Tanjabtim – Bts. Regency. Tanjabbar is at the point (sta 16+000 – 16+400) where the asphalt that is spread has a soft/liquid texture, which can be seen from the process of compacting and leveling the asphalt layer which is carried out by operating with a number of passes that is not in accordance with what was planned during the trial mix. So it is necessary to carry out an analysis to evaluate the material composition of the hot mix asphalt design layered by Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC). The method used is to use secondary data analysis methods in the form of DMF, JMF and gradation data. The results of the analysis of the composition of the hot asphalt mix material show that there are differences in the total proportion value of the mixture, where in the DMF the planned proportion is 32.97% for fine aggregate, 28.26% for medium aggregate, 18.84% for coarse aggregate, 1.88 % for filler, and 5.80% for asphalt. At JMF the proportion of results from weighing is 37.68% for Hot Bin I (fine aggregate), 35.80% for Hot Bin II (medium aggregate), 18.84% for Hot Bin III (coarse aggregate), 1.88% for filler, and 5.80% for asphalt. In field implementation, the proportion of the total mixture produced was 17.90% for Hot Bin III (coarse aggregate), 33.91% for Hot Bin II (medium aggregate), 40.51% for Hot Bin I (fine aggregate), 1, 88% for filler, and 5.81% for asphalt.

Abstract

Jalan D. I. Panjaitan in the city of Jambi is a vital road with a 2 lane 2 way (2/2) road type, where there are some roads that use permanent road dividers and some that do not use road dividers. The condition of the road which includes residential areas, shops, schools, hospitals, places of worship, and so on causes road traffic to develop according to the conditions around the road. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of U-turn Volume and Degree of Saturation on Jl. D. I, Panjaitan, knows the level of service on Jl. D. I, Panjaitan. The conclusion is that based on the research results that have been calculated, it can be obtained that the U-turn volume influences the degree of saturation (DS) with a positive correlation, so the highest degree of saturation is obtained with a correlation coefficient value of 0.89. The coefficient value shows that the greater the U-turn volume. the greater the influence on the degree of saturation (DS). So the level of vehicle road service on Jl. DI Panjaitan with a road service level volume of 0.56 can have a service level of C. Where the flow is stable, but the speed of vehicle movement is controlled.

Abstract

The construction of the Mako Lanal building is to realize the fulfillment of the needs of facilities and facilities / infrastructure to support the main tasks and functions of the Navy. With the planned cost of this building construction project amounting to IDR 11,884,285,000.00. With a duration of 210 days starting on May 06 - December 01, 2021. Researchers conducted rescheduling using the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) using the Microsoft Project 2016 program. The results of the calculation of the amount of labor before the leveling of labor are uneven and fluctuations occur, with a maximum workforce of 76 workers. therefore, the leveling of labor will be carried out. By rescheduling the relationship between jobs. after smoothing the workforce the maximum number after smoothing is 38 workers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of on-street parking on the performance of MT Haryono Road in Balikpapan City. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. The analysis reveals that the presence of on-street parking significantly affects road performance. On Tuesday, the day with the highest traffic volume, the degree of saturation during peak afternoon hours reached 0.89 with on-street parking and decreased to 0.85 when parking was moved off-street. The Level of Service (LOS) on Monday and Tuesday was categorized as E, indicating congested traffic conditions with very high side friction. The LOS improved to category C on Wednesday and Sunday, indicating unstable traffic flow with limited speeds and considerable side friction. The LOS was categorized as D on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, indicating saturated traffic flow with starting low speeds and high side friction. The worst traffic conditions occurred on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, with a LOS of E and a degree of saturation of 0.89. Conversely, the best traffic conditions occurred on Sunday, April 7, 2024, with a LOS of C and a degree of saturation of 0.62. The study's findings highlight the importance of parking management to enhance road performance in urban areas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine accident-prone areas on the Banda Aceh – Medan Causeway, identify factors of traffic accident-prone areas that often occur on the Banda Aceh – Medan Causeway and also calculate the cost of material losses for the last four years, namely in 2018-2021. The methods used in this study are descriptive research types and quantitative approaches. The data analysis technique used is the UCL and AEK methods. The results obtained in this study are based on the Accident Equivalent Rate (AEK) method and the Upper Control Limit (UCL) method in 2018-2021, areas that are prone to accidents are located at STA 009 + STA 474 - STA 012 + STA 477, while at other STA locations below the UCL line or smaller than the UCL value, they are not at risk of being accident-prone. Based on the analysis of the factors causing areas prone to traffic accidents that often occur on the Banda Aceh – Medan STA 009 + 474 - STA 012 + 477 Causeway due to road condition factors, driver negligence factors and incomplete road facilities factors. And based on the calculation of material losses due to accidents on the Banda Aceh – Medan STA 0 + 465 – STA 15 + 480 Causeway, there are material losses of Rp. 19,755,323,448.31 during 2018-2021.

Abstract

One important step in an effort to meet the housing needs of the community is the construction of housing and settlements whose main goal is to prepare prosperous housing with adequate and affordable infrastructure, facilities and utilities. This study aims to be able to see the extent of the effectiveness of the implementation of the self-help housing stimulant assistance program which refers to technical guidelines. The analysis uses a descriptive qualitative approach, by taking assessment indicators about habitable houses based on technical instructions for the implementation of activities, After that, questionnaires were distributed to 26 houses receiving aid, 14 houses in Nagari Surian and 12 houses in Nagari Lolo Sampling take with using a Likert Scale using a Scale of 5, starting from Very Unsuitable (STS) to Very Suitable (SS), so that the implementation process can run optimally to be able to see threats that occur and also see opportunities to be able to optimize the implementation process is carried out also analysis using the SWOT MethodThe results of the study show that the application of assessment indicators taken from technical implementation guidelines falls into the "appropriate" category where for Nagari Surian it is at 4.14 out of a maximum scale of 5 and for Nagari Lolo it is at 4.16. However, in the aspect of assessing access to adequate tap water in Nagari Lolo is included in the "Quite Appropriate" category, this is because not all houses can be reached by water from Water Suplly Company, so people still rely on tap water from residents' wells or spring sources. The results of the analysis for the value of self-help are also very good because the value of community self-help is 83% - 94%, The role of the facilitator is also very influential on the implementation of the self help housing stimulant assistant program because it can help the community to understand the purpose of the BSPS program itself.

Abstract

Normalizing the drainage channels of the Wadung Asri market is a program created by the Sidoarjo Regency government with the condition that the price offered is IDR. 967,769,587.09.  The company's level of success in carrying out construction projects can be assessed by an in-depth understanding of how much construction costs are required. To maintain the company's survival, it must obtain sustainable income and even generate profits. This quantitative study aims to obtain project budget data that has been prepared in a systematic and objective manner, with an evaluation aimed at checking the extent to which the budget that has been prepared is compared with the costs that have been realized. This research involves various kinds of data including self-estimated prices (HPS), company budget plans (RAB), unit prices of work, and realistic costs incurred. The collected data was analyzed using the variance analysis method by comparing the company's planned cost budget and the realistic costs of each job description, whether favorable or unfavorable. This research informs us that the company did not suffer a loss but made a profit of 2.88% or IDR 23,180,000.00 from the proposed budget of IDR. 804,924,396.50. Following up on the findings of this research, cost planning and control must be further optimized through collecting work unit price data for each job description in more detail and detail, then research must also be carried out periodically.

Abstract

Flexible pavement is designed with regard to the load that will be received in order to achieve optimal performance throughout its service life. However, conditions in the road reveal indications of overloading by each category of vehicles, especially overload vehicles. Driyorejo industrial area road is a provincial road that connects the main industrial areas in Gresik Regency. With traffic dominated by overload vehicles, especially large trucks carrying a lot of goods, indications of damage to the pavement are becoming increasingly clear and obvious. This research aims to assess the impact of traffic load on the remaining life expectancy of flexible pavement, focusing on the load of vehicles crossing the road in the Driyorejo industrial area as the study variable. The calculation method used is the Bina Marga 2017 Method. The data used are Average Daily Traffic (LHR) data and vehicle load data. From the calculation results, the actual traffic growth (i) value is 32.7%. Vehicle overloading causes a decrease in the planned life of the road as indicated by the truck factor value of 1.06. The Remaining Life (RL) calculation represents a 14% decrease from the standard RL value of 69.3% to 55.3% under overload conditions, so it can be concluded that the overload significantly reduces the life of the road which was originally designed for 10 years to only 7 years.

Abstract

Along with the times, various innovations have been made to improve the performance of concrete, Innovations carried out include aiming to produce and value structural materials that have good properties with economical and economical methods and costs, Efforts to improve the quality of concrete are also carried out by mixing other ingredients in the mixture. In this study, the author used chicken feather fiber as an added ingredient to the mixture concrete. This study aims to find out how the process of making concrete with added chicken feather waste with an additional composition of 0.1%, 0.5%, and 1.5%, and whether the added material of chicken feather waste with a composition of 0.1%, 0.5%, and 1.5%, can increase the compressive strength of concrete or vice versa. In this research method using the experimental method, the test objects made for each addition to the percentage of chicken feather waste are as many as 3 samples, with a cylindrical mold size of 15 cm in diameter with a height of 30 cm, by passing the treatment process for 28 days. The conclusion of this study is that concrete is added with chicken feather waste with variations of 0.1%, 0.5%, and 1.5% addition, the planned compressive strength is 20.8 Mpa. A decrease in compressive strength was produced in each use of added chicken feather waste with a composition of 0.1%, 0.5%, and 1.5%, the more added chicken feather waste, the compressive strength value of concrete decreased, the initial normal composition produced a compressive strength of 21.56 Mpa, while the composition of 0.1% decreased with a compressive strength result of 10.64 Mpa, then with a composition variation of 0.5% decreased again with a compressive strength value of 3.21 Mpa. And for a composition variation of 1.5% it decreases with a compressive strength value of 0.16 Mpa. With this research, it is known that chicken feather waste material cannot be an alternative to add concrete mixture in the future.

Abstract

The interactions that occur between the City of Surabaya and the City of Jombang are not only influenced by economic factors, but are also influenced by social factors of life. Residents who are outside the Jombang City area will try to choose the fastest route from several routes that connect their home zone with Jombang City. This research was conducted based on factors that influence the process of choosing a travel route from Surabaya City to Jombang City using class I, class II and class III vehicles. The influencing factors are travel time and vehicle flow. The available route options are via national roads and toll roads. In this research, an analysis of route selection was carried out using the gradual loading method. The gradual loading method was chosen because it can determine the relationship between traffic flow and travel time, without depending on driver assumptions and road network characteristics. After carrying out the analysis using the gradual loading method, the wardrop balance value can then be calculated, the results of which can show that the conditions are balanced and the driver can determine which route to take. From the results of a simple linear regression analysis, a model of the flow - travel cost relationship on the Surabaya - Jombang National Road route was obtained with the equation form 55.63 + 0.031X, while on the Surabaya - Jombang Toll Road route the equation form was 32.044 + 0.024X. The wardrop balance value at a uniform fraction loading of 25% was found to be 0.18 and at a uniform fraction loading of 10% and a non-uniform fraction of 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% the value was 0.03. This value is relatively small and can be interpreted that the condition is close to wardrop equilibrium.
