Abstract

Bridges are an important part of a road network system because they have a significant impact if the bridge collapses or if it does not function properly. A bridge is a structure that crosses a river or other traffic barrier, so the collapse of the bridge will reduce or hold back traffic, which as a result will disrupt the comfort of the public in traffic and disrupt economic relations. A bridge is a structure that crosses a river or other traffic barrier, which as a result disrupts people's comfort in traffic and disrupts economic relations (Bridge Inspection Guidelines 2012). Bridges are built so that pedestrians, vehicle or train drivers can cross these obstacles. However, it turns out that there are many types of bridges which of course vary both in terms of structure, strength and even construction costs. The main components of a bridge are the unity of the road embankment structure approaching the bridge, the sub-bridge structure and the bridge super-structure (BMS, 1993). The main objective of this research is to analyze the condition of the Sarolangun Batang Tembesi Bridge by observing it visually, assessing the technical condition of the bridge, and determining the priority order for bridge maintenance based on its condition value. However, the database results produced in this bridge management system are only limited to screening and ranking results in preparing bridge management programs (Directorate General of Highways, Bridge Management Systems, (1993), "IBMS General Procedure Guide", BMS, Department of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

Unisla has experienced an increase in the number of lecturers and students successively from year to year. In addition, lecture buildings and educational facilities also continue to improve over time. The purpose of this study is to determine the model of attraction and generation of movement in the Unisla campus area, and to determine the factors that influence the attraction and generation of movement that will occur due to the development of the Unisla campus. The method in this study uses the method of regression analysis, slovin and SPSS. Based on the analysis, the results of the generation model and the attraction of movement in the Unisla campus area can be explained by the equation Y = 556.448 + -0.963X, with an R2 value close to one of 0.593, indicating a good fit between the model and the data. The factor that has a significant influence on the generation and attraction of movement in the Unisla campus area is the mode of transportation chosen by the subject. Motorcycles have an effect of 90.26% on motion generation, whereas in terms of movement attraction, motorcycles also have an influence of 91.91%. In this case it can be interpreted that what has a big influence on the generation and attraction of movement in the Unisla campus area is motorbikes.

Abstract

The Palembang - Jambi highway is a very busy route. Along the road at the entrance to Jambi City, Paal 10 - Simpang 4 Paal 10, Jambi City is passed by many vehicles because this road is one of the roads that is open to pass through heavy vehicles carrying loads. This is also one of the causes of rapid damage to flexible road pavement. The aim of this research is to determine the average daily traffic volume of vehicles passing through the asphalt pavement at the entrance gate of Jambi City, Paal 10 - intersection 4 Paal 10, Jambi City, to find out the effect of vehicle load on the level of road damage on the entrance gate of Jambi City. Paal 10 – Simpang 4 Paal 10 Jambi City. This research method uses guidelines from Bina Marga Pd T-14-2003. Average daily traffic data (LHR) on the entrance road to the city of Jambi Paal 10 – intersection 4 Paal 10 Jambi City on Saturday is 6,702 vehicles, on Sunday it is 6650 vehicles and on Monday it is 6719 vehicles. From this data, the total LHR from the vehicle analysis results is 1115 vehicles/hour. and the results of the Truck Factor calculation are 3.775 > 1, where this value shows that the condition of the damage to the road at the entrance to the city of Jambi Paal 10 - intersection 4 Paal 10 Jambi city is due to the excessive load of vehicles passing through it. The excessive load factor that occurs causes 2 types of damage, namely groove distortion with a high level of damage and alligator cracks.

Abstract

To support the current tourism sector, Kerinci Regency has an airport called Depati Parbo. The development of this airport really needs to be implemented, considering that this airport is the only airport in Jambi province that has the potential to be developed and improved. The problem in this research is what parameters need to be reviewed to assess the feasibility of developing Depati Parbo Airport, and what are the evaluation results and recommendations for the feasibility of developing Depati Parbo Airport. The aim of this research is to identify the parameters of the technical and financial aspects of the feasibility of developing Depati Parbo Airport, carry out a feasibility evaluation and provide recommendations for the feasibility of developing Depati Parbo Airport. This research method is a combination of qualitative and quantitative, that is, both support each other, in order to obtain maximum results. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the NPV (Net Present Value) was 12,441,161,179.80, BCR (Benefit Cost Ratio) 9.70%, IRR (Internal Rate of Return) 41%, although this is sufficient, there is still a need to optimize the dealer's income Depati Parbo Airport, so there is no need to increase the capacity of Depati Parbo Airport, but it is necessary to optimize Depati Parbo airport revenue.

Abstract

This research examines the operational performance and user satisfaction of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) mass transportation system in Palembang City, particularly on the LRT Demang Lebar Daun station corridor. The study involves the collection of primary and secondary data, including passenger numbers, waiting times, travel intervals, and travel times. The research results indicate that the average number of passengers per LRT station is approximately 10 passengers, resulting in a load factor ranging from 9% to 11%. While passenger comfort levels are relatively high, this low ridership may impact operational efficiency. The waiting times and travel intervals of the LRT are relatively short, enhancing passenger comfort, but warrant operational considerations. Furthermore, the study notes that the round-trip travel time on the LRT is approximately 2 hours, 33 minutes, and 57 seconds. However, limited parking facilities at the Demang Lebar Daun station can affect the interest in using the LRT. In order to improve operational performance and user satisfaction of the LRT, this research recommends an evaluation of travel intervals, waiting times, and daily LRT trip numbers. Additionally, improvements in parking facilities at LRT stations should be considered to enhance the convenience of using this mode of transportation.

Abstract

Damage to flexible pavements is still commonly found in Indonesia. As technology develops, there is some research regarding using iron powder as an alternative replacement material for asphalt mixtures. This research used iron powder waste as a substitute for fine aggregate in Hot Rolled Sheet–Wearing Course with levels of 0%,15%,30%, and 45%. The purpose of this research to determine the Optimum Asphalt Content (OAC) and optimum percentage of iron powder waste addition as a substitute for fine aggregate to the indicator of Marshall test based on The General Specification of Bina Marga 2018 (Revision 2). Based on Marshall testing that has been carried out, the OAC values are 7,5% with an average of stability 2040,46 kg, flow 3,40 mm, MQ 600,24 kg/mm, voids in mix 4,69%, voids in mineral aggregate 18,30%, and voids filled with asphalt 74,39%. While the optimum percentage of iron powder value is 13% with an average of stability 2091,90 kg, flow 3,17 mm, MQ 662,79 kg/mm, voids in mix 3,92%, voids in mineral aggregate 17,59%, and voids filled with asphalt 77,72%. The result met the General Specification of Bina Marga 2018 (Revision 2). The addition of iron powder as a substitute for fine aggregate in HRS-WC is can increase stability but reduce air voids in the asphalt mixture.  This result makes the asphalt mixture more impermeable and plastic.

Abstract

In the transportation system, the port is a node in the chain of smooth sea and land transportation cargo, which then functions as a transition activity between modes of transportation. The importance of ports in a transportation system requires that each port have a basic framework for port development and construction plans. This basic framework is contained in a spatial development plan which is then described in stages of short, medium andl ong term development implementation. Port development studies are an integral activity in transportation planning in the development of the National Capital City (IKN). This research begins with an analysis of goods movement needs and location analysis. These two factors are the main factors determining port layout. Location analysis includes available land conditions, topographic conditions, hydrooceanographic conditions, including the available road network. It is known that the need for construction goods supplied from outside Kalimantan is 54,037,806 tons for 5 years. Thus, the annual average is 10.8 million tons. Assuming there are 260 working days in a year, then there is a flow of 41,569.2 tons per day. The existing port or terminal that will be developed into an IKN port is the PT Special Terminal. ITCI Hutani Manunggal (IHM) with planned activities for loading and unloading construction goods and the East Kalimantan Kariangau Port Terminal (KKT) loading and unloading civil logistics goods.
