Abstract

In general, each construction project has a planned completion time with a set scheduling so that the project can run well. Indonesia is trying to develop infrastructure and public facilities such as the MRT Building Construction Project. This research was conducted at the MRT HUB Building Construction Project Simpang Temu Dukuh Atas Jalan Kendal No. 25, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Special Capital Region of Jakarta 10310 at PT. PP (Persero), Tbk This research aims to obtain factors that cause project delays. This research uses the concept of lean six sigma with the DMAIC phase (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). After being identified, the construction experienced delays in work completion caused by several factors such as overpurchase, delay, and inventories. Lean six sigma helps in finding solutions to minimize delays including not buying goods excessively so as not to cause delays so that workers can work properly without having to wait for the area to be worked on.

Abstract

Roads are the main function as infrastructure for all forms of land transportation. For those who use the road, because a good road has a beneficial influence on the community, the road serves as the main foundation for economic turnover activities and social activities of the community. So comfort and tranquility when driving are very important factors before the construction of road pavement construction, the stability of a road must first be known the carrying capacity of the soil as a foothold.  The carrying capacity of the soil that damages the pule-sarirejo road was evaluated by researchers. Factors affecting the decrease in soil carrying capacity were also studied in this study. Testing water content with an average value of 15.39% which includes high water content, data processing shows that the road bottom soil on Jalan Pule – Sarirejo has a low carrying capacity value in this test. For testing the boundaries Atterberg belongs to the group of clay soil types. with a PI value of 58.85% has a high platicity value. However, it is known from the results of CBR testing that the CBR value of the road base soil is 7.00%, included in the "sufficient" category and for the shear strength value is 0.21 kg/cm² and is still classified as sandy clay.

Abstract

Humans have utilized tidal events at river mouths for a long time. The major benefit is the use of raw water for domestic water needs. On an average day, there will be one high tide and one low tide with a single diurnal tidal type. The utilization of surface water during tides in the Talang Kelapa sub-district of Banyuasin Regency is not optimally used, where there is a lack of adequate water sources. In addition, there has been no research on tidal water management systems in the study area. This study aims to analyze the availability of raw water, analyze the need for raw water for the daily needs of the community, evaluation a raw water system in the residential area of Kenten Laut Village so that during the dry season the need for raw water for residential households can be met. The results of the evaluation of the availability of raw water that can be utilized from the available channels (types 1, 2, 3, and 4) are 1.17 liters/second. The results of the calculation of the mainstay discharge of 1.703 liters/second with a total amount of water availability of 2.87 liters/second. While the total domestic and non-domestic water needs. While the total domestic and non-domestic water demand based on the population in 2022 is 12.99 liters/second. It can be concluded that the availability of tidal water in Kenten Laut Village has not been able to meet household water needs so alternatives are needed, namely water reservoirs, repairing damaged drainage channels, or repairing damaged drainage channels.

Abstract

One of the areas in Kerinci Regency that is often hit by floods is Lubuk Suli Village.  Flooding was caused by overflowing water from the Batang Marao river. The main objective of this research is to provide information to the relevant government about good drainage for the Lubuk Suli Village Area using existing data and planning data by simulating the capability of the Drainage Network for the Lubuk Suli Village Area using the EPA SWMM 5.1 program. The data used in this research are land use maps to determine the percentage of impervious area, rainfall data and drainage channel dimension data in the area. The rain data series used is hourly rain data. Due to the absence of hourly rainfall data at the rain station at the research location, hourly rainfall distribution was determined by changing the Intensity-Duration-Frequency (IDF) curve for a 5 year return period into a planned rainfall hyetograph using the Alternating Block Method (ABM). After all parameters have been input into EPA SWMM 5.1. Simulation can be done. The simulation quality is quite good if the continuity error for surface runoff and flow tracing is > 10%. The simulation carried out in this research is divided into 2 scenarios, namely with existing data and additional storage. From the simulation results, it was found that in the 2 scenarios, the number of flood points in the simulation for scenario 1 was 6 points and in scenario 2 there were 5 points. This shows that the drainage planning design for the Lubuk Suli Village area has not been able to overcome the existing drainage load in the area.

Abstract

Various alternative solutions to reduce waste continue to be sought and developed. This includes fly ash and bottom ash which are waste products from burning coal, one of which is produced by Steam Power Plants (PLTU). So the increasing need for electricity will also be followed by an increase in the amount of waste. This type of waste is utilized in various fields of science, such as agriculture, industry and quite a lot in the construction sector. As a field that continues to develop along with people's need to live and move, utilization in the construction sector has great potential as a solution to reduce this waste. The use of fly ash and bottom ash in construction material mixtures as a quality enhancer or simply to reduce the use of natural materials continues to be carried out. This research will focus on the utilization of waste at a large percentage on a construction product scale. Substitution in the composition of the mortar mixture which is the initial product shows the effect of improving quality at a relatively low percentage in the variations used in this research. However, the full substitution of this waste as a substitute for natural materials, namely fine aggregate, is still in a fairly good range, especially in the composition of mortar mixtures with relatively low quality targets or in composition ratios with more aggregate material than cement or binder.

Abstract

Concrete is a construction material that is widely used in Indonesia, when compared to the use of wood and steel materials, there are two methods of concrete work, namely the conventional method and the precast method. In the Kuta Art Market Development Project there are several blocks using the conventional method and some using the precast method. How to compare the cost and time of conventional beam work and the precast method and which method is more effective to use. To be able to determine the choice of the right method to use, an analysis of costs and implementation time is carried out. Furthermore, the results of the analysis are compared so as to get an effective method to use. From the results of the analysis carried out at the Kuta Art Market Development Project, a comparison of costs and implementation time obtained that the total cost for the work of 5 conventional blocks was IDR 47,656,004.04 and the time needed to complete the work of 5 conventional blocks was 5 days. Whereas the total cost required for the work of 5 precast beams is Rp. 46,006,742.42 and the time required to complete the work of 5 precast beams is 4.09 days. When compared, the cost of precast beam work is Rp. 1,649,301.32 (3.5%) cheaper and the execution time for precast beam work is 0.91 days (18%) faster than conventional beam work.

Abstract

Asphalt is a material that is widely used in road construction. The use of asphalt materials is getting higher, but the asphalt materials used are increasingly expensive and limited, research was conducted with Coldmix Ashpalt with the addition of fiberglass resin with the aim of determining the effect of adding fiberglass resin to AC-WC asphalt materials. The method used for research is carried out in the laboratory with the marshall test method then obtained the calculation results, namely the marshall quotient. The characteristics of AC-WC pavement mixtures include density, cavities in aggregate minerals (VMA), asphalt filled cavities (VFA), voids in the mixture (VIM), stability, marshall melt (flow), and Marshall Quotient (MQ). The results of the study of 4 variations of the deep fiberglass resin mixture used with variation values of 0%, 2%, 3%, 4%. for the variation value that has the highest stability is found in the 3% variation with a stability value of 1577.33 kg, with a VMA value of 15.50%, VFA value of 87.18%, VIM value of 3.28%, flow value of 3.13 mm, and MQ value of 510.72 kg / mm. The variation content of 3% is declared the most effective for mixing AC-WC asphalt because the values of the marshall properties meet the 2018 Highways engineering specifications, so that the most optimal variation of fiberglass resin added material is used as a mixture of AC-WC asphalt with a penetration of 60/70.

Abstract

Construction in Indonesia is one of the government's top priorities in an effort to improve the welfare of the society. Construction planning must be carefully planned in order to achieve efficiency in project implementation, in terms of time and cost. A construction project requires planning and controlling material inventory. The purpose of material planning and control is so that construction projects can run smoothly, effectively and efficiently. Material planning and control can be analyzed using the material requirements planning (MRP) method. In this study, using economic order quantity (EOQ) and period order quantity (POQ) techniques. Cost budget design data, s-curves, work unit price analysis, and work progress reports are the data components to be processed. The results showed the cost of procurement of materials needed with the EOQ technique, namely: purchase cost of IDR 8,466,623,718.49, ordering cost of IDR 1,598,050.00, and storage cost of IDR 8,942,979.62. The total cost required is IDR 8,477,164,748.11. Furthermore, for the POQ technique, namely: purchase cost of IDR 8,466,623,718.49, ordering cost of IDR 1,598,050.00 and storage cost of IDR 9,674,554.05. The total cost required is IDR 8,477,896,322.53 Comparison of the costs required from the EOQ and POQ techniques can be concluded that Material Requirement Planning (MRP) using the Economic Order Quality (EOQ) technique is less costly than the Period Order Quantity (POQ) technique. Material procurement using Economic Order Quality (EOQ) is more effective. This is because the EOQ technique requires less costly / economic procurement compared to the POQ technique. In addition, with the application of the EOQ technique, there is a clearer material ordering schedule and the amount of material ordered is in accordance with the needs so that the material storage is not too much.
