Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the use of financial technology (fintech) and financial literacy on the financial performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in East Kalimantan. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in East Kalimantan have an important role in supporting the regional economy, especially in supporting the acceleration of the development of the Indonesian Capital City (IKN). However, MSMEs face various challenges in improving their efficiency and financial performance. Empirically, research shows that MSMEs that adopt fintech experience increased access to financing and efficiency of financial transactions. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study integrates findings from various relevant previous studies to identify the relationship between fintech, financial literacy, and MSME performance. Fintech has been shown to provide wider and more efficient access to financing, while financial literacy allows MSMEs to manage their finances better. This study also explores secondary data on the level of fintech adoption and financial literacy in East Kalimantan to provide in-depth local context. The results of the study are expected to contribute to the development of policies that support the digital transformation of MSMEs and increase the competitiveness of the local economy in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business model and development strategy of Supply Point, a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) specializing in restored branded second-hand shoes in Lembang, West Bandung Regency. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and SWOT analysis frameworks. The findings reveal that Supply Point excels in product restoration quality and actively engages in digital marketing through platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. However, it faces internal challenges including limited human resources, manual inventory management, and the absence of a physical retail space. The study identifies significant development opportunities in the growing sustainable fashion trend, digital MSME transformation, and collaborations with communities and local influencers. Recommended strategies include product diversification, enhanced customer service, inventory digitalization, and the exploration of new distribution channels such as pop-up stores. By strengthening key elements of the BMC and responding strategically to external factors through SWOT analysis, Supply Point has the potential to thrive as a leading player in the preloved footwear industry that is adaptive, sustainable, and highly competitive.

Abstract

The Indonesian National Police is a state instrument that plays a role in maintaining public security and order, as well as providing protection which is expected to provide good performance in the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence and motivation on the performance of employees of the Bangka Belitung Islands Police Rena Bureau both partially. This type of research is quantitative research. Hypothesis testing is done with multiple regression tests. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The sample of this study were all personnel employees of the Rena Bureau of the Bangka Belitung Islands Police totaling 49 people. The research model is hypothesis testing, which tests the theoretical truth built by researchers. The research model is hypothesis testing, which tests the theoretical truths built by researchers. The data used are cross-sectional (observational research type) collected from research respondents, namely employees of the Bangka Belitung Islands Police Rena Bureau. Data processing uses SPSS software version 24. Data analysis techniques use classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination testing. The results showed that partially competence and motivation affect the performance of employees of the Bangka Belitung Islands Police Rena Bureau.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of product quality and price on customer satisfaction at Z’Coffee, a growing coffee shop in Bogor City. A quantitative research method was employed, using a questionnaire distributed to 52 customers. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression along with classical assumption tests to validate the model. The findings reveal that product quality has a significant and positive impact on customer satisfaction. In contrast, price does not show a significant effect when tested partially. However, when tested simultaneously, both product quality and price significantly influence customer satisfaction, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 75.4%. This indicates that the model explains 75.4% of the variation in customer satisfaction. The study highlights that product quality plays a more dominant role compared to price in influencing satisfaction. Based on these findings, Z’Coffee is advised to focus on improving product quality in its marketing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, especially in a competitive culinary industry environment.

Abstract

This study was conducted in 2025 using an associative quantitative approach, data collection methods through observation, questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies. The study population included all employees of Super Indo Puri Depok Mas, with a sample size of 40 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out with the help of Statistical Package For The Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 26. The results of the study indicate that motivation has a significant partial influence on employee performance, as indicated by the t-test with a calculated t value of 7,617 > t table 2,206. Teamwork is also proven to have a significant partial influence on employee performance, with a calculated t value of 8.523 > t table 2,206 having a significant value (0.000 <0.05). The variables of motivation (X1) and teamwork (X2) together contribute to the employee performance variable (Y) obtained by 81.1% while the remaining 18,9% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. The results of this study can be used as evaluation material and consideration for companies, to improve strategies to strengthen high motivation and build solid teamwork to improve employee performance.

Abstract

Sustainable development has become a global priority that requires the integration of economic, social, and environmental goals. Islamic finance, which is based on maqashid sharia and ethical principles, offers a structured framework to align investment practices with the needs of sustainable development. This study examines how Islamic investment principles integrate with the SDGs by evaluating the contribution of Islamic financial instruments in Indonesia and identifying key challenges and opportunities. Using a qualitative descriptive desk research design, data was systematically collected from academic journals, official publications, and policy documents, then analysed through content analysis with source triangulation and peer-review. The findings show that green sukuk issuance has funded five renewable energy and sanitation projects, reduced carbon emissions, and generated risk-adjusted returns comparable to conventional sukuk with better risk management. Productive waqf schemes have channelled public capital into sustainable agriculture and education, improving food security and human capital, and corporate zakat programmes have encouraged the development of MSMEs. Portfolio studies show positive impacts on economic growth and social development, mediated by good governance and regulatory support. Nonetheless, gaps remain in terms of the availability of reporting standardisation, and investor literacy highlighting the need for harmonised frameworks and capacity building. The study concludes that Islamic financial instruments significantly advance sustainable development in Indonesia, and recommends regulatory incentives, standardised Islamic ESG reporting, sustainable thematic funds, and digital financial planning platforms to make the most of Islamic investment potential for a sustainable future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work fatigue, job satisfaction, and work-life balance on employee performance at PT Zebra Asaba Industries. An associative quantitative approach was used, with data collected through closed questionnaires distributed to Millennial and Gen Z employees. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results show that job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance, while work fatigue and work-life balance do not show a significant effect, either partially or simultaneously. These findings suggest that increasing job satisfaction is key to improving employee productivity. Although fatigue and work-life balance were not significant in this study, they still warrant attention as they may affect long-term performance. The study recommends that management focus on enhancing job satisfaction through improvements in work environment, compensation, and interpersonal relationships. Future research is advised to explore other potential factors such as motivation, organizational culture, or leadership style that may have a greater impact on performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of religiosity, product knowledge, and fashion trends on purchasing interest, both partially and simultaneously. Amidst the rapid growth of the Muslim fashion industry, especially syar'i clothing, some consumers still consider fashion trends and popularity as the main considerations, while religiosity and product understanding are not yet the basis for decision making. This situation reflects a disparity between spiritual needs and current fashion trends. This is a quantitative study. The population in this study consists of Muslim women who wear syar'i clothing and reside in South Jakarta. The sample was taken using the Slovin formula with a total of 100 respondents. This study uses non-probability sampling techniques. Data collection in this study used questionnaires. The method used in this study was SEM-PLS using the Smart PLS 4 data analysis tool. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Based on the results of this study, it shows that each variable of religious values, product knowledge, and fashion trends has a significant positive effect, both partially and simultaneously, on purchasing interest. (2) The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.926 indicates a very strong level of influence. This figure indicates that 92.6% of the variability in purchase intention can be explained by the three main independent variables, namely religious values, product knowledge, and fashion trends. Meanwhile, the remaining 7.4% stems from the contribution of other variables not examined in this model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of business strategy on the operational management performance of companies. In an increasingly competitive global business environment, companies are required to manage resources effectively and efficiently to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. Strong operational management is a key factor for companies to meet customer needs, reduce production costs, and improve productivity and service quality. This study adopts a quantitative approach with a causal method to examine the relationship between business strategy and operational management variables. The sample consists of 102 respondents selected from two companies in Medan City using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaire and supporting company documentation. The results of data analysis indicate that business strategy has a significant influence on operational management performance, as evidenced by the results of the F-test and T-test. A well-designed and integrated strategy can improve production process efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction. This study provides a theoretical contribution by enriching the literature on strategic and operational management, as well as practical implications by assisting companies in formulating more adaptive business strategies in response to external environmental changes. These findings may also serve as a foundation for managerial decision-making aimed at enhancing corporate competitiveness.

Abstract

Consumer purchasing decisions are not solely influenced by logical considerations, but also by emotional dimensions, personal experiences, and the quality of relationships established between consumers and companies. Stemming from this understanding, this research aims to delve deeper into the impact of consumer behavior and consumer loyalty on purchasing decisions, by introducing a more humanistic approach through the implementation of Human Resource Management (HRM) counseling services. In the context of this study, HRM counseling is defined as a crucial two-way communication bridge, facilitating companies to gain a more comprehensive and personal understanding of each customer's unique needs, concerns, and aspirations. This research adopts a quantitative methodology, involving 100 respondents who are active users of brand X products. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression to identify the relationships between variables. The analysis consistently shows that both consumer behavior and consumer loyalty have a significant and positive influence on purchasing decisions. Furthermore, a key finding of this study highlights that the integration of the HRM counseling approach provides substantial added value. This approach proves effective in building deep emotional closeness, increasing consumer trust, and proactively fostering long-term attachment between customers and companies. Therefore, the results of this study strongly affirm the imperative of developing empathy-based and relationship-oriented management strategies to achieve sustainable consumer loyalty amidst dynamic and competitive market conditions.
