Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of transformational leadership on job satisfaction and employee retention in Sedati Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews and participant observations for data collection. The research informants included employees and leaders from various local organizations, including MSMEs and service institutions. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns of meaning in the interactions between leaders and employees.The findings reveal that transformational leadership practices in Sedati foster a positive work environment, enhance employee motivation, and strengthen employee loyalty. Dimensions such as visionary inspiration, personalized attention, and open communication emerged as key factors in increasing job satisfaction. Furthermore, strong interpersonal relationships between leaders and employees directly influenced employee retention, as employees felt valued and emotionally connected to their organizations. This research also highlights the significance of individualized consideration and moral support from leaders as the foundation for cultivating a healthy and inclusive organizational culture. The practical implications of these findings underscore the need for leadership training focused on human-centered relationship development. This study contributes to the enrichment of local leadership literature and provides a basis for organizational decision-making aimed at improving job satisfaction and retaining employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Green Lifestyle, Green Product, and Green Advertising on the purchasing decisions of Lemonilo instant noodles in Sumbawa Regency. This research employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 130 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The criteria included consumers who had purchased Lemonilo products within the past six months and were domiciled in Sumbawa. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method via the SmartPLS 4 application. The results indicate that Green Lifestyle, Green Product, and Green Advertising each have a positive and significant partial effect on the purchasing decision of Lemonilo instant noodles in Sumbawa Regency. Green Product emerged as the most dominant variable, followed by Green Advertising, while Green Lifestyle showed the least influence. These findings highlight the importance of green marketing strategies in influencing consumer behavior. The implications suggest that companies should enhance product information transparency, promote sustainable lifestyle education, and strengthen marketing communication based on environmental values.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important aspect that determines the success of a company, including at PT. Metaform in Purwokerta. This study is motivated by the importance of understanding the factors that influence employee performance, especially transactional leadership, intrinsic motivation, and social support. Transactional leadership is believed to be able to provide clear direction and rewards for employees, while intrinsic motivation encourages employees to work optimally because of the drive from within. In addition, social support from coworkers and superiors can also increase self-confidence and work enthusiasm. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of transactional leadership, intrinsic motivation, and social support on employee performance at PT. Metaform Purwokerta. The study was conducted using a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to 60 employees of PT. Metaform. The data were analyzed using multiple regression to determine the effect of the three independent variables on employee performance. The results showed that transactional leadership, intrinsic motivation, and social support together had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. These findings are recommendations for company management to strengthen transactional leadership practices, increase employee intrinsic motivation, and strengthen social support in the work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of financial literacy and financial attitude on the financial behavior of students in the Management Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur. The results show that financial literacy and financial attitude have a positive and significant effect on students' financial behavior, both partially and simultaneously. Financial literacy, which includes aspects of knowledge, skills, and confidence in managing money, is assumed to be closely related to wise financial decision-making. On the other hand, financial attitude, which reflects an individual’s views and judgments toward financial matters, also contributes to the formation of daily financial habits. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative method. Data were obtained from 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling and analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the influence between variables. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating financial education and fostering positive attitudes in supporting healthy personal financial management among students. Therefore, educational institutions are expected to play an active role in developing practical financial literacy programs and encouraging the formation of responsible financial behavior. These efforts serve as a crucial foundation for equipping students with the necessary skills and mindset to navigate future financial challenges effectively and independently.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Karunia Global Lestari. The study aims to determine the influence of motivation, communication, and work stress on employee job satisfaction at PT. Karunia Global Lestari. The population of this study consisted of 80 employees of PT. Karunia Global Lestari, located on Jalan Moh. Yakub Lubis, Bandar Klippa, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The sample used in this study comprised 80 respondents, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique employed was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that, partially, motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, communication has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, and work stress has a negative and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Karunia Global Lestari. Simultaneously, motivation, communication, and work stress have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Karunia Global Lestari. These findings imply that companies need to improve motivation and effective communication, as well as minimize work stress to increase employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and prove the influence of Financial Compensation, Non-Financial Compensation, and Work Morale on the Performance of Employees at PT. Pegadaian Kediri. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collected through purposive sampling, involving a sample of 44 employees of PT. Pegadaian Kediri. The analysis techniques employed include: the validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test (partial), F-test (simultaneous), and the R² coefficient of determination. Based on the study's results, Financial Compensation has a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance of PT. Pegadaian Kediri Sig 0.004 < 0.05. Non-Financial Compensation has a negative and insignificant effect on the performance of PT. Pegadaian Kediri, with a significance value of Sig 0.145 > 0.05. Work Morale has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT. Pegadaian Kediri with a significance value of Sig 0.011 < 0.05. Simultaneously, Financial Compensation, Non-Financial Compensation, and Work Morale have a positive and significant effect on employee performance of PT. Pegadaian Kediri with a significance value of Sig 0.002 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management strategies applied at Apotek Pro LoMedika Manado in order to increase competitiveness in the midst of the tight retail pharmaceutical industry. The background of this research is the condition of the pharmacy which after two years of operation has not been able to finance its own operations and faces competition from several adjacent pharmacies. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach through direct observation, in-depth interviews with managers, pharmacists, and pharmacy owners, and review of financial statements for the period January 2023-December 2024. The analysis was carried out using a SWOT framework that maps strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, then determines the right strategy to deal with market dynamics. The results showed that Pro LoMedika Pharmacy has a strategic position with great opportunities, but faces internal challenges in the form of suboptimal financial and inventory management. From the results of the SWOT analysis, the pharmacy is in quadrant I which is recommended to use an aggressive strategy, which maximizes internal strengths and external opportunities. These strategies include increasing product variety, stock control, optimizing services through POS technology, and collaborating with doctors and suppliers to get competitive prices and credit for goods. In conclusion, the implementation of more structured strategic management is able to become the basis for increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of pharmacy operations in the future.

Abstract

The increasingly competitive job market has heightened work pressure faced by employees, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. Unmanaged work pressure can lead to stress and job burnout, ultimately resulting in decreased employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effects of work pressure, job stress, and job burnout on employee performance in a pharmaceutical company. A quantitative method was employed, using a semi-structured questionnaire distributed to 50 purposively selected respondents. The study focused on testing seven hypotheses that include both direct and mediating relationships among the variables. Literature review indicates that work pressure and job stress have direct impacts on job burnout and employee performance. Furthermore, job burnout acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between work pressure, job stress, and performance. These findings highlight the importance of managing work pressure and stress to maintain optimal employee performance, as well as the need for leadership and organizational support in fostering a healthy work environment.

Abstract

The increasingly fierce competition in the culinary business requires business actors to develop appropriate marketing strategies in order to survive and thrive. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies of Bagea Cake SMEs in Palopo City in increasing sales volume. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. A SWOT analysis was conducted to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats they have. Based on the analysis results, Bagea Cake SMEs in Palopo City are in quadrant I, indicating that SMEs are classified as growing businesses and have a strong and promising position. The strategies that can be used are the Strength-Opportunity (SO) strategy or progressive (growth) strategy. Progressive strategies that can be applied to Bagea Cake SMEs in Palopo City include optimizing the quality of distinctive taste and attractive packaging to expand the market, maintaining customer loyalty and hygienic production processes to build a strong brand image, and using quality raw materials and brand identity as competitive advantages.

Abstract

Humans are interconnected to obtain information and communication. Advanced communication produces sophisticated technology, called smartphones, loved by many people. The phenomenon of smartphone needs has resulted in the Samsung smartphone counter business, a promising and growing business branch in Indonesia. The main thing is the information needs of people who like to change smartphones, every year the business and its actors develop, increase in Indonesia. Marketing strategies, challenging positioning, so that competitors compete, until expected by the public. The purpose of the study, describe in depth, the positioning strategy of Samsung smartphone service, in order to increase Samsung smartphone sales at the Anugrah Samsung Smartphone counter, Klaten. The research method is descriptive, qualitative approach, field research type. The purpose of the study, direct understanding of real conditions and comparing Samsung smartphone repair services as a marketing medium, with positioning specifications. By knowing the price of Samsung smartphone repair services, it is expected that product sales can increase. The purposive sampling method, the informant selection. The criteria are owner; operator, one employee; three regular customers. The results of the study as a benchmark for the success of the positioning marketing strategy, with 4 indicators, can provide an increase in sales of Samsung smartphone products, namely: 1. target market with customer persona specifications from collecting ideal customer profile information, representing the target market of Samsung smartphone counters; 2. life cycle of Samsung smartphone counter service, its stages, introduction, providing new services that are not yet available to competitors; growth, expansion of services from business partners; maturity, decision making when market conditions are saturated; decline conditions, adaptation to technological changes and consumer preferences; 3. adding a diversification strategy, offering replacement for the selection of second hand Samsung smartphone/new Samsung smartphone sales services; 4. product differentiation, shaping consumer perceptions. In addition to Samsung product repair services, adding other smartphone product repair services is currently trending.
