Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder, because the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the body cannot use the insulin produced effectively, resulting in an increase in glucose concentration in the blood. The number of Type 2 DM cases at the Oesapa Health Center in 2023 for the January-May period is 110 cases. The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk factors associated with the incidence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. This study is an analytical observational study using a case control study approach. The research time was carried out for 1 month, namely in June 2023. The samples in this study amounted to 84 samples consisting of two groups, namely case samples of 42 people and control samples of 42 people. The sampling technique uses a simple random sampling technique with a meaning level of α=0.05. The data analysis used in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis using chi square statistical test. Each variable studied was tested using the chi square statistical test to determine the relationship with the variable of Type 2 DM. The results showed a significant relationship between family history (p-value = 0,002; OR=4,462), hypertension (p-value=0,004; OR=4,063) and physical activity (p-value=0,029; OR=2,941) with the incidence of Type 2 DM and there was no significant relationship between smoking (p-value = 0.640) with the incidence of Type 2 DM at the Oesapa Health Center in Kupang City. It is expected that people control blood sugar levels regularly, get used to a healthy lifestyle and increase physical activity through regular exercise such as walking, running, cycling and other physical activities.

Abstract

Coding accuracy, namely the process of conformity of the diagnosis code that has been set by the coding officer based on ICD-10 which greatly affects data reporting and administration. The basic cause of death is the course of any disease, sick condition, or injury that causes or causes the accident that causes death. The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy of the underlying cause of death code based on the selection rule and the MMDS table in patients who died at the Duren Sawit Hospital in 2022. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach which took 88 samples using a saturated sample technique by means of observation and interviews. The results of the study were obtained from 88 samples of the accuracy of the basic causeof death codes based on the general principle selection rule and rule 1 at the Duren Sawit RSKD found that 49 (56%) and 39 (44%) were incorrect. There are factors that affect the inaccuracy of using the 5M elements (Man, Money, Material, method, Machine), namely the man element because the coding officer's profession is not appropriate and less thorough and the elements of the general coding SPO method which are still being revised, do not use selection rules and MMDS tables. Suggestions that officers should be given socializationabout the selection rules and MMDS tables.

Abstract

Fire, as a universal catastrophic phenomenon, presents the potential for significant losses to people, assets, and productivity around the world. Therefore, an efficient set of preventive and responsive measures is needed to reduce the risk of fire. In Indonesia, one approach in overcoming the threat of fire is through the use of Light Fire Extinguishers (APAR). The Head Office of PT X, a company located in a 23-storey building, faces challenges in conducting routine inspections of fire extinguishers. This obstacle arises due to the large number of fire extinguishers (84 units) and the limited number of HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) staff. In order to overcome this problem, designing a barcode-based fire extinguisher inspection checklist connected to a spreadsheet is a relevant solution. The goal is to ensure that each fire extinguisher is ready to be used to extinguish fires. The fire extinguisher inspection data is processed and recorded in a database in a spreadsheet. Based on the results of the study, the barcode-based fire extinguisher inspection checklist system connected to this spreadsheet involves three levels of users, namely the operator responsible for conducting inspections, supervisors who have the authority to provide validation of inspection results, and admins who are in charge of managing and adding fire extinguisher inspection data that has been carried out.
