Abstract

This research analyzes how online media, especially Tempo.co, analyzes and influences people's views on the issue of Jokowi's inclusion in the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP)'s 2024 most corrupt figure nomination. Using Robert N Entman's framing analysis, this research highlights how Tempo.co chooses and emphasizes certain aspects to shape the wider community's perception. The results showed that Tempo.co emphasized the ineffectiveness of anti-corruption policies during Jokowi's administration and its impact on the political image that had been built. It was also found that the media framing showed a strong reaction from Jokowi's supporters, which led to threats against anti-corruption activists, which shows the complexity of political dynamics in Indonesia. This research makes it clear that the media significantly influences public opinion on controversial political issues.

Abstract

In the digital age, the role of parents in child-rearing has become increasingly intricate with the rise of social media platforms such as TikTok. This study investigates the impact of Digital Parenting content from the TikTok account @rensia_sanvira on the parenting practices of millennial parents. The primary objective is to understand how such content influences contemporary parenting styles. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative research approach, the study incorporates content analysis, in-depth interviews, and textual analysis. Data was gathered through detailed interviews with millennial parents and by documenting content from @rensia_sanvira's TikTok account via screenshots. To ensure the validity of the data, source triangulation was employed. The results indicate that the Digital Parenting content provided by @rensia_sanvira has a positive influence on millennial parents, offering them valuable references and strategies for effective parenting. This study highlights the evolving role of social media in shaping parenting practices and underscores the importance of digital content in guiding modern parents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai Peran Public Relations Dalam Membangun Citra Perusahaan PT Brantas Abipraya Kantor Proyek Jogoboyo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode pendekatan studi kasus. Melalui proses observasi dan wawancara mendalam yang memberikan pemahaman tentang program Corporate Social Responsibility PT. Brantas Abipraya Kantor Proyek Jogoboyo. Masalah utama yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah aktivitas public relations PT. Brantas Abipraya Kantor Proyek Jogoboyo dan bagaimana perusahaan dalam meningkatkan citra melalui program corporate social responsibility, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran public relations PT. Brantas Abipraya Kantor Proyek Jogoboyo dalam meningkatkan citra perusahaan melalui program corporate social responsibility. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Aktivitas public relations bagian keuangan dan umum PT. Brantas Abipraya Kantor Proyek Jogoboyo efektif menjaga hubungan dengan masyarakat, terutama melalui komunikasi lokal terkait program CSR seperti bantuan sosial, donor darah, dan pembagian daging kurban. Program CSR ini berdampak positif pada citra perusahaan, meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat, serta memperkuat reputasi PT. Abstract

Social media has become an important tool in modern marketing strategies. This research aims to analyze the marketing strategies implemented on the @infokulinerpati account to increase consumer engagement and interest. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with content analysis to identify the marketing strategies implemented by the @infokulinerpati account. The research results show that creative and interactive content presented in short videos succeeds in attracting the audience's attention, increasing interaction, and utilizing the live stream feature can also have a very important impact on establishing good relationships directly with followers. The use of music and visual effects on TikTok is one of the main factors in the success of this marketing strategy. This research concludes that TikTok can be an effective marketing tool, especially to reach the younger generation as the main users of this platform.

Abstract

This research aims to make a significant contribution to the development of best practices for the promotion of Pandanrejo Village Tourism destinations (Dewa Pandan). Through a review of case studies and related literature, the formulation of the problem of this study is how to use Instagram social media as a promotional medium to increase visitor interest. This village, located in the Menoreh Hills Area, has won an award as the best tourist village in Central Java in 2023. Despite having diverse tourism potential, its digital promotion still faces various challenges that need to be optimized to increase visibility and tourist participation. In this study, the theory used includes communication strategies. This study applies a qualitative method with a case study approach and the STP (segmentation, targeting, positioning) method. Data was collected through observation, and interviews with tourism village managers, as well as analysis of Instagram social media content of Pandanrejo Tourism Village. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and extraction with validation through source triangulation. The results of the study show that the use of Instagram as a means of promotion has a positive impact on increasing awareness and interest of tourists in Pandanrejo Tourism Village. Interactive and informative content, such as educational videos and tourist attraction promotions, has proven to be effective in attracting visitors. However, this study also found challenges in the consistency of social media management and the limitations of digital resources. Therefore, a more systematic and collaborative strategy is needed in managing digital promotion to support the development of sustainable tourism in this village.

Abstract

Effective communication patterns are key in running complex organizations like 'Aisyiyah. Understanding the communication model used can provide insights to enhance communication effectiveness in religious and social organizations in Karanganyar and identify the factors influencing it. The communication pattern in this organization utilizes an all-channel communication model, which operates without hierarchical barriers. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, through in-depth interviews and observations of the active organization leaders. The research results show that the communication pattern implemented in 'Aisyiyah Karanganyar has built strong interpersonal relationships, facilitated collaboration, and created an inclusive and empowering work climate. The communication conducted is informative but also persuasive and motivating, bringing significant positive impacts to the community served. The open and transparent communication pattern allows quick and adaptive responses to changes and strengthens members' solidarity and a sense of belonging.

Abstract

This study analyzes the use of Instagram as a marketing communication medium on the @thriftworld_store account, a secondhand brand clothing store. The main problem studied is how digital marketing communication strategies can increase brand awareness and encourage increased sales. The purpose of this study is to understand the effectiveness of Instagram as a digital marketing tool for thrift store businesses. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. Data analysis techniques refer to the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that @thriftworld_store actively optimizes various Instagram features, such as stories, reels, and ads, and implements visual-based marketing strategies, customer interaction, and collaboration with influencers. With this strategy, Instagram has proven to be an effective platform in building brand awareness and increasing customer engagement. This study provides recommendations for businesses in optimizing social media as a more effective and efficient marketing strategy.

Abstract

Abstract This study investigates the representation of family values in the Korean drama Queen of Tears, focusing on how these values are conveyed through cinematic techniques and character interactions. Using a qualitative descriptive approach rooted in constructivism, the research analyzes selected scenes to explore themes such as protection, honesty, care, and loyalty within the family context. Findings reveal that the drama effectively employs camera techniques and lighting to emphasize emotional depth and family dynamics, thereby shaping viewers' perceptions of familial relationships. The study highlights the importance of media in reflecting and shaping societal values, offering insights for future research on cultural representation and media influence. Abstract Penelitian ini menyelidiki representasi nilai-nilai kekeluargaan dalam drama Korea Queen of Tears, dengan fokus pada bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut disampaikan melalui teknik sinematik dan interaksi karakter. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang berakar pada konstruktivisme, penelitian ini menganalisis adegan-adegan tertentu untuk mengeksplorasi tema-tema seperti perlindungan, kejujuran, kepedulian, dan kesetiaan dalam konteks keluarga. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa drama ini secara efektif menggunakan teknik kamera dan pencahayaan untuk menekankan kedalaman emosi dan dinamika keluarga, sehingga membentuk persepsi pemirsa tentang hubungan kekeluargaan. Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya media dalam mencerminkan dan membentuk nilai-nilai masyarakat, menawarkan wawasan untuk penelitian masa depan mengenai representasi budaya dan pengaruh media. Abstract

This study discusses the findings of the bullying concept contained in the Korean drama Pyramid Game using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotics with a triangle of meaning, namely sign, object, and interpretant. This study aims to focus on the bullying concepts contained in the Korean drama Pyramid Game, namely the concept of physical bullying, the concept of verbal bullying, the concept of relational bullying and the concept of cyberbullying. And a critical assessment of the main character's response to bullying will explore how feelings of isolation, anxiety, and efforts to fight back can change social perceptions of victims and perpetrators. These findings lead to a deeper understanding of the bullying concepts contained in Korean dramas, which also show bullying in South Korean teenagers. The method used in this study is qualitative research with Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study are that there are 3 episodes containing the concept of physical bullying, 4 episodes containing the concept of verbal bullying, 3 episodes containing the concept of relational bullying and 2 episodes containing the concept of cyberbullying.

Abstract

The KZOI Region Banten community has survived for a decade and even some KZOI Region Banten members even though they have changed the type, brand and CC of the motorbike remain members. The purpose of this research is to find out the communication patterns of the Community in maintaining the cohesiveness of the KZOI Region Banten group. This research method uses descriptive with a qualitative approach as well as non-participant observation and interviews with eight members of the KZOI Region Banten community. The result of this research is that the communication pattern used by the KZOI Region Banten community is an all-channel pattern or star pattern. This can be seen when all members have equal rights in providing ideas or ideas for touring, rolling, sunday morning (sunmori) and events, not requiring and forcing all members to attend meetings (kopdar), giving freedom without strict rules but still following applicable norms so that from all of that a sense of belonging, comfort, kinship, togetherness to harmonisation between fellow members is created.
