Abstract

ABSTRACT Prajuru Timbrah Traditional Village has difficulty choosing prawayah. This obstacle made prajuru have to carry out a communication strategy. How this communication strategy is carried out in selecting interesting prawayah for further research. This thesis research takes the title "Prajuru Communication Strategy in Choosing Prawayah in Timbrah Traditional Village". The formulation of the problem, among others; 1) What is the Timbrah Traditional Village Prajuru communication strategy in choosing prawayah? 2) What are the obstacles and solutions to the Timbrah Traditional Village Prajuru communication strategy in choosing prawayah? 3) What is manifested in the Timbrah Traditional Village Prajuru communication strategy after being able to choose prawayah during religious ceremonies in the Timbrah Traditional Village? The theories used in this study are Role Theory, Social Penetration Theory and SMCR (Source-Message-Channel-Receiver) Theory. This study uses a qualitative approach. This type of data collection is qualitative from primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, documentation. The findings of the research results are prajuru communication strategies in choosing prawayah, carried out by applying communication methods in several forms, including informative, coercive and educative. Obstacles in implementing the communication strategy, occur internally and externally. Meanwhile, solutions for internal obstacles are overcome by making decisions directly in the prajuru internal procession, to implementing Awig-awig in a straightforward and firm manner. Furthermore, external obstacles, the solution is to return to educating the public about the importance of the existence of prawayah. The effort to choose prawayah with katepak widhi is also considered as one of education. The implications of this communication strategy, have a positive or negative impact. The positive impact is that filling in the prawayah is filled again, selecting the next prawayah becomes easier, the implementation of religious ceremonies in the Timbrah Traditional Village becomes smoother. Residents' awareness is also growing towards the importance of the existence of prawayah. The negative impact is that prajuru do not get the ideal human resources to become prawayah. The adaptation process as prawayah is relatively longer, because you have to start from scratch. The level of public trust and confidence in prawayah as the leader of religious rituals and the enlightener of the people has decreased. Keywords: Communication Strategy, Prajuru, Prawayah

Abstract

Based on this background, researchers are interested in researching related to "Caregiver Communication Strategies in Forming the Religious Character of Children at the Dharma Widya Kumara Orphanage, Kubu Village, Bangli Regency", with the formulation of the problem, namely 1) What is the communication strategy used by caregivers in shaping the religious character of children? 2) What are the obstacles and efforts made by caregivers in using communication strategies to shape the religious character of children? 3) What is the impact of the communication strategy used by caregivers in shaping the religious character of children? The theory used in this research is interpersonal communication theory, communication barrier theory, S_O_R (Stimulus-Organism-Response) theory. This study uses a qualitative approach. This type of data collection is qualitative from primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation.The findings of the research are: 1) The communication strategies applied by caregivers in shaping the religious character of children at the Dharma Widya Kumara Orphanage, Kubu Village, Bangli Regency are persuasive communication strategies,coercive communication strategies and redundancy (reputation) communication strategies. 2) Obstacles in implementing communication strategies by caregivers in forming the religious character of children at the Dharma Widya Kumara Orphanage, Kubu Village, Bangli Regency, have internal and external obstacles. 3) The impacts arising from the communication strategy applied by caregivers in shaping the religious character of foster children at the Dharma Widya Kumara Orphanage, Kubu Village, Bangli Regency are: changes in the quality of children from the cognitive aspect, changes in the quality of children from the affective aspect, changes in the quality of children from the psychomotor aspect.

Abstract

ABSTRACT PT. Bank Mandiri Taspen Capem Renon is a banking industry which is a subsidiary of Bank Mandiri, which wants to get customers who are always loyal in using its products and services. PT. Bank Mandiri Taspen Capem Renon was previously less well knows by the public and other institutions, due to the lack of promotional updates, especially from social media. Therefore, PT. Bank Mandiri Taspen Capem Renon needs to apply the concept of integrated marketing communication (IMC), to understand the concept, reseaechers draw three problem formulations, namely: (1) IMC implementation in improving image, (2) communication barriers in the IMC implementation process, and (3) implications obtained in the IMC implementation process.Based on this formulation, the theories used to dissect the problem formulation are: (1) Promotion Mix Theory, (2) Communication Barriers Theory, and 93) SOR Theory. This research look place at PT. Bank Mandiri Taspen Capem Renon. The type of research used is qualitative, with the determination of informants using purposive sampling method. Data collection uses observation methods, interviews with guidelines assisted by voice recorder research tools and cellphones, literature and documentation. Data analysis conducted in this study uses data reduction, data presentation, and data verification.The findings of this study are in the implementation of PT. Bank Mandiri Taspen Capem Renon using the IMC concept by using promotional elements, namely advertising using print media and social media, personal selling by using a ball pick-up system to customer, sales promotion giving rewards to loyal customers, public relations by implementing workshops or seminars and also community service. During the implementation process, of course, there are obstacles, namely communication process barriers, physical barriers, frame of mind barriers, and technical barriers. During the marketing process with the IMC concept, of course, there will be implications that have an impact on all employees and also PT. Bank Mandiri Taspen, namely internal implications that have an impact on the community regarding the existence of PT. Bank Mandiri Taspen, marketing communication implications that have an impact on the promotional media carried out, as well as the implications of the IMC concept.Keywords: Integrated Marketing Communication, PT. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has lasted for more than two years and has had a significant impact on Bali's tourism and economy. The phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic and efforts to survive by tourism stakeholders in Bali have not escaped media interference. The focus of this research is to analyze tourism stakeholder relations in Badung and Denpasar in an effort to survive in the Covid-19 pandemic based on the Bali Post mass media framing analysis. With descriptive qualitative research, the results of the analysis using the Robert N. Entmant framing model method are written in narrative form. After being analyzed using the framing method, then each problem formulation is dissected with the social construction theory of mass media, organizational control theory and agenda setting theory, as well as framing theory. As a result, power relations are obtained from the government to tourism actors in the tourism and media industries. This power relationship is asymmetrical from the government to tourism actors. In this effort to survive, obstacles were also found, especially personal barriers such as emotions, prejudices, and biases from tourism actors to the government, causing conflict. However, with the theory of organizational control carried out by the government, the implication is to create a conducive and orderly atmosphere among tourism actors. There are two efforts found, namely technical and non-technical efforts. These efforts have made tourism actors able to survive in the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Health maintenance is the most important factor in human life, for health is life itself. There are numerous methods practiced to maintain health, both physical, psychological, and spiritual, one of which is in the form of yoga healing the practice of yoga healing cannot be separated from the success of a communication process. Such therapeutic communication process is carried out in Wisuda Yoga Therapist Ashram in Klungkung Regency. Wisuda Yoga has their own training module on yoga healing as well as communication strategy with the clients which enables the healing process to work on not just the clients’ physical body but also, psychological, spiritual, and social aspects. The present study is urgent to be conducted due to the swift changes within the society. Said changes are sometimes are not readily accepted by the members of society and this caused shockwaves which reverberated to all aspect of life. This healing practice considered to provide an alternative in dealing with the intended shock.

Abstract

The use of online-based media does not necessarily help Hindu extension workers in carrying out their duties and functions, because not all Hindus in East Denpasar District are literate in technology, especially the elderly. Another obstacle is the limitations of extension workers in creating online-based coaching content. In addition, extension workers cannot ensure that the counseling videos that have been distributed can be well received by the audience or the public. Therefore, this problem is important and interesting to be studied more deeply. Based on this background, 3 problem formulations were obtained, namely: 1) Why did Hindu extension workers use online-based communication methods during the Covid-19 period in East Denpasar District, Denpasar City?; 2) How is the use of online-based Hindu extension communication methods during the Covid-19 period in East Denpasar District, Denpasar City?; and 3) What are the implications of online-based Hindu extension communication methods during the Covid-19 period in East Denpasar District, Denpasar City?. The theories used in this study are attribution theory, persuasive communication theory, and mass media effect theory. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The location of this study is at the Ministry of Hindu Affairs Denpasar City. The types and sources of data used are primary and secondary data. The informant determination technique is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, literature study and online material search. The findings of the research are: (1) Hindu extension workers used online-based communication methods during the Covid-19 period in East Denpasar District, Denpasar City due to two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. (2) The process of using online-based Hindu extension communication methods during the Covid-19 period in East Denpasar District, Denpasar City is to master persuasive communication strategies well, by planning, organizing, which is then  carried out Actuating and Controling to ensure that counseling provided online can be carried out properly. (3) The implications of online-based  Hindu extension communication methods during the Covid-19 period in East Denpasar District, Denpasar City, have three dimensions, namely: Cognitive Effects (increased understanding), Affective Effects (attitudes), and Behavioral Effects (actions and intentions).

Abstract

This study describes Prajuru Traditional Village communication strategies in preventing drug abuse among adolescents in Pemogan Village, South Denpasar. The city of Denpasar, precisely in the South Denpasar sub-district, is the largest number of drug abusers that can be uncovered by the authorities. The impact of drug abuse does not only threaten the survival and future of those who abuse it, but also the future of the nation and state. The purpose of this research is for teenagers to be more aware of and avoid drug abuse amid the current scourge of globalization and modernization. This type of research is qualitative research that seeks to describe social phenomena that are developing in the masses today and then described based on the concepts and theories of persuasive communication, S-O-R communication theory and interpersonal communication.                 The results of this study are Prajuru Traditional Village can prevent drug abuse among youth in Pemogan Village, South Denpasar by using Persuasive communication strategies, Strengthening Religious Cultural Values ​​and Providing customary sanctions for drug abuse according to the anti-drug Pararem. Meanwhile, the obstacles of Prajuru Traditional Village in preventing drug abuse among youth in Pemogan village, South Denpasar are: Bad stigma associated with drugs is a problem that becomes an obstacle in efforts to deal with drug abuse, Lack of Resources, Low Community Participation, Lack of Educational Information and Limited Budget. And the implications for preventing drug abuse among youth in Pemogan village, South Denpasar, namely: Increasing Youth Awareness about the Dangers of Drugs, Increasing Youth Skills in Solving Problems, Increasing Community Involvement, Creating a Safe and Healthy Environment, There is a decrease in drug abuse cases among Pemogan village youth.

Abstract

The millennial era has now penetrated with technology that enlivens all lines of human life. Application technology that adorns all media, starting from the world of entertainment, business, education, and up to the arena for all people's stories, can be held in a gadget, especially since in this decade the world has been attacked by a deadly virus called the Covid-19 Virus which has had an impact on human life. Entertainment that is the choice of the community in the realm of getting closer is only social media. The grip of gadgets that enliven the social world of society to become a business arena. The impact of the Covid-19 outbreak has been felt in the business and economic world. In a relatively short time, business actors are "forced" to rack their brains in determining marketing strategies since the implementation of social distancing. Therefore, during this pandemic, business actors are "required" to optimize online marketing and digital marketing as a means of communication with target consumers.

Abstract

The use of social media, particularly Instagram by local government can quickly reach everyone. Through social media, the government can provide direct and open contributions, get feedback, allow commenting and share information quickly and without limits. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using Instagram to improve the image of the Denpasar City Government through interactions and feedback from social media followers as a form of public information openness, implemented by the Public Relations Department in responding to news and promoting a positive image in the community. This research found that Communication Strategy, Website Quality and Instagram Content have an impact on the Government's Image. Although each independent variable can influence the dependent variable, significant results will only occur if all variables are implemented optimally.

Abstract

Organizational image is defined as the public's perception of an organization in its public memory. This makes a positive image must be built and maintained by an organization, institution including government agencies. This study aims to analyze the management of government social media, especially public relations through Instagram social media in building a positive image of the Denpasar City Government. This research uses a qualitative approach which is carried out through content observation on the Denpasar City Public Relations account, namely the @joyful.denpasar account and conducting interviews with the Head of Public Relations and Leadership Communications, Denpasar City Government, interviews with Instagram account managers @joyful.denpasar, and public relations consultants. The next process is data analysis and described in the form of an actual explanation. The results showed that the process of implementing the Public Relations communication strategy through Instagram social media in building a positive image of the Denpasar City Government, went through several stages starting from planning the communication strategy, implementing the communication strategy, to the evaluation stage. The obstacles encountered by Denpasar City Public Relations in implementing a communication strategy in building a positive image, namely internal obstacles, including the lack of human resources for communication graduates, and the limited availability of adequate tools, while external obstacles, namely there are still fake accounts or fake accounts. However, there are several steps taken by Denpasar City Public Relations to overcome these obstacles, namely first planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. So that these obstacles can be minimized. The implications of the Denpasar City Public Relations communication strategy through Instagram social media in building a positive image, including making account activityjoyful. denpasar as an account that provides positive information, and becomes the official information media for the Denpasar city government that is able to provide reliable, up-to-date and up-to-date information.
