Abstract

The Ndikkar dance is a rich and valuable cultural heritage of the Karo tribe in Lingga Village, Simpang Empat District. This dance reflects deep cultural values and is an important part of the Karo ethnic identity. Social changes and the influence of modernization can threaten this dance's sustainability. This research aims to identify and analyze the cultural values of the Ndikkar dance and develop effective preservation strategies to maintain cultural continuity. The research method used is a qualitative method with an interactive model. Data collection using participant observation, interviews, and literature study to holistically understand the Ndikkar dance and its cultural context. The research results show that the Ndikkar dance contains various cultural values, including religious, social, and aesthetic values. There are various challenges, such as the changing values of the younger generation and a lack of institutional support, that could threaten the survival of this dance. Holistic conservation efforts involving community participation, strengthening cultural values in education, and collaboration between the government and the community are important keys to preserving the Ndikkar dance and Karo tribal culture as a whole.

Abstract

Financial management is a person's way of managing their finances, starting from planning, budget design, methods of saving funds, controlling expenses, to risk protection. The goal is to achieve economic stability in the future. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques using participatory observation, non-participatory observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the behavior that occurs is that some of the informants have recorded their income and expenses every day, save regularly in the form of saving money, prepare emergency funds, and participate in social gatherings. They consider social gatherings to be part of saving. The most important management of family income is for consumption needs, then for children's school financing needs and social needs.

Abstract

Self-medication is the preferred method for treating minor illnesses based on individual decision. The method used is descriptive analysis. Distributing questionnaires directly to a sample of 85 respondents was used to collect data. This research is a correlational analysis research with a cross-sectional design. Samples were collected using a non-random sampling method with a total sampling method. The research results showed that 93% of respondents had a high level of knowledge, 3% had a medium level, and 4% had a low level. In terms of behavior or acquisition, 88.24% had a good rating, 10.59% had a medium rating, and 1.18% had bad behavior. Spearman's rank correlation analysis produced a calculated r value of 0.537 and a p value of 0.000, indicating a strong and significant positive relationship between knowledge of the adequacy of self-assessment and treatment of primary dysmenorrhea and the feasibility of self-treatment.

Abstract

This research seeks to explore the impact of profitability, company size, and public ownership on the disclosure of sustainability reports. Employing a quantitative research approach, the study utilizes secondary data sourced from the official Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website. The collected data is then analyzed using the SPSS tool. The research focuses on companies listed in LQ-45 on the IDX during the period 2020-2022, with purposive sampling as the chosen method. The findings of this study reveal the following: (1) Profitability does not exert a significant negative influence on sustainability report disclosure for PT Antam Tbk, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk, and PT Vale Tbk; (2) Company size demonstrates a significant positive impact on sustainability report disclosure for PT Antam Tbk, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk, and PT Vale Tbk; (3) Public ownership exhibits a significant negative effect on sustainability report disclosure for PT Antam Tbk, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk, and PT Vale Tbk.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using E-Commerce on online buying behavior among North Sumatra University students, the effect of using E-Commerce on the lifestyle of North Sumatra University students, and the effect of using E-Commerce on product buying behavior and lifestyle. University of North Sumatra students. This study uses quantitative methods using correlational methods. The results showed that there was an effect of using E-Commerce as a medium for buying products online with the buying behavior of University of North Sumatra students with a correlation value of 0.293 which shows a low but definite level of influence. There is an influence of the use of E-Commerce in the lives of students at the University of North Sumatra with a correlation value of 0.296 indicating a low but definite level of influence. There is an effect of using E-Commerce as a medium for buying products online with the buying behavior and lifestyle of North Sumatra University students of 0.284 which shows a low but definite level of influence. In addition, the results of the positive correlation value show a unidirectional effect.

Abstract

In this research discusses the Toba Ethnic Tor-tor Pangurason Performance which is studied in the study of Local Wisdom. The problem in this research is the stages of movement and local wisdom values). This research aims to determine the stages of movement in the TorTor Pangurason performance and the local wisdom values contained in the Tor-tor Pangurason performance. The method used in analyzing this research problem is a qualitative method with field research techniques. There are (two) theories used in this research, namely Charles Sander Peirce's Semiotic Theory which is found in the stages, patterns, functions and meanings of the Tor-Tor Pangurason movement and Sibarani's theory of local wisdom (2012: 114). In the field of local wisdom, which contains the title "Tor-tor Pangurason Ethnic Toba Performance of Local Wisdom Studies" includes: Understanding the culture and natural conditions of a place or cultural preservation and creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ethical communication behavior of netizens on infrastructure development issues on the Instagram account @edy_rahmayadi interpretively and to analyze the constructed motives in the netizens' interaction space on @edy_rahmayadi's Instagram posts, especially on infrastructure development issues in North Sumatra, in shaping public sentiment towards Edy Rahmayadi as the Governor of North Sumatra. The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach with a virtual ethnography method through data collection techniques such as participant observation, interviews, documentation collection, and triangulation. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results showed that the ethical communication behavior of netizens on @edy_rahmayadi's Instagram account was formed by several motives, including social background (age, religion, ethnicity, race, etc.), political interests that are still influenced by the 2018 North Sumatra gubernatorial election and Edy Rahmayadi's current political stance, professional and group interests, and other aspects related to current conditions in the field.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the role of knowledge sharing in mediating workforce agility on individual innovation capability. This research uses a quantitative approach, with a sample of 73 respondents was taken in proportion. Data collection was done using a survey method, and data analysis techniques used inferential statistics through SEM-PLS. The results of the research show that workforce agility has a positive and significant effect on knowledge sharing. workforce agility and knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on individual innovation capability. However, knowledge sharing is not able to mediate the influence of workforce agility on the individual innovation capability of village professional assistants in Kediri Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the ritual process, form, meaning and function as well as the value of local wisdom contained in the Mangan Na Paet ritual carried out by the Parmalim belief. The theory used in writing this thesis is the Semiotic theory put forward by Charles Sanders Peirce and the Local Wisdom theory by Sibarani (2021). The research method used is a qualitative method. The results of the research are: Mangan na Paet in the Parmalim belief system, there are 18 forms found in the Mangan Na Paet ritual, including: Pounding tool, Ampang, Parmasan, Solup, Jual, Bale, Pangurason, Pardaupan, Lage Tiar (mat), (Inggir -inggir) sparrow eggplant, (Bulung ni botik) papaya leaves, (Sera-sera) small jackfruit, (Te Bolon) kaffir lime, (Lasina) chilies, and (Sira) salt, (Ihutan) Parmalim leaders and general participants , as well as the time of implementation in the morning or manogot ni ari, of the 18 forms above each also has a different function and meaning.

Abstract

This study analyses the effect of service quality and store image on customer loyalty mediated by perceived value and customer satisfaction. The data collection used questionnaires distributed to respondents who shopped at Indomaret stores in Kediri City. The population in this study were all consumers who shopped at Indomaret stores in Kediri city. The number of samples in this study were 100 respondents. The data analysis used SmartPLS 3.0 software using a variant-based SEM approach which presents the outer model test and inner model test. The outer model test is used to specify the relationship between latent variables and their indicators and the inner model test is used to predict the relationship between latent variables.
