Abstract

This Community Service is carried out from August to September 2021 in the Horse breeding area in Payakumbuh City in the form of counseling and examination of horse feces in the laboratory with the aim of this program being to provide knowledge to horse owners and stool examination in the laboratory to find out gastrointestinal parasites. This program was carried out by visiting the location of the horse stables and taking the feces of 50 horses. From the results of laboratory examinations, horses infected with gastrointestinal parasites were 82% (41/50), the prevalence was higher in mares 70% and stallions 12%. Although clinically the horse showed healthy symptoms but still had gastrointestinal parasites. It is hoped that from this activity horse breeders can improve management of maintenance, feed and also the health of horse livestock.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide knowledge to students about the importance of making business plan proposals to improve entrepreneurship skills. The output target of this activity is that it is hoped that students will find it easier and more understandable in understanding proposal writing by cultivating creative and innovative ideas and increasing interest in entrepreneurship. The activity method is carried out in two stages, the first stage is direct observation and demonstration and counseling. The number of participants was 45 class X students. Teaching will be conducted 4 face to face so that Mts Nurul Hikmah students have a better understanding of making business plan proposals. The results of the activity show that students have been able to compile business proposals both in theory and practice with a pretty good category. Activities can be developed with other themes such as how to market products effectively for students.

Abstract

The implementation of the SNBT (National Selection Based on Test) will be carried out in 2023, so it is necessary to provide debriefing so that students have a thorough picture and preparation for facing the SNBT later. The purpose of this activity is to introduce and provide SNBT material which will be tested later. This activity was attended by 34 grade 12 students of SMA Kanzul Mubarok, Bekasi. The activity was carried out with 1 face-to-face counseling and 5 face-to-face material deepening and 2 try outs. The material provided includes introduction to SNBT procedures, general reasoning, reading comprehension, general knowledge and understanding, Indonesian language literacy, English literacy and quantitative knowledge. Based on the results, students scored 64 in the first tryout and got 69.9 in the second tryout. Counseling to parents also determines the results of trials that have been carried out by students. The activity needs to be continued by carrying out more challenging practice questions.

Abstract

Along with the development of relations between countries, both in the social and economic fields, cooperative relations between these countries are also developing. Southeast Asian countries, for example, agreed to form the ASEAN Community (ASEAN Community) in various economic, social and cultural aspects and political security. Indonesia certainly faces very diverse challenges in fighting for market share which is expected to be a place to sell the goods and services it produces. The purpose of this service is to explain and conduct discussion activities related to how to measure the competitiveness of the market share of Indonesian export products. The method used is a presentation in the form of a webinar using zoom. The results of the dedication show that there were active discussions with the participants and increased enthusiasm of the participants to write scientific papers related to trade competitiveness.

Abstract

Sports injury is a condition of damage that occurs to the muscular and skeletal systems of the body during exercise due to an accident. Some cases of injury are often ignored by athletes and assume that the injury will recover by itself, even though if the injury is not treated properly it can lead to more serious injuries and impact on the athlete's performance. Physiotherapy is a health professions that can provide assistance to injured athletes. The lack of knowledge about the handling of injuries in athletes often has an impact on the occurrence of repetitive injuries. The aim is to provide knowledge to coaches and athletes about the types of injuries, the level of injury (onset), how to reduce the risk of further injury or repetitive injury and how to overcome injuries in the field.

Abstract

There are so many news portals available but not many people know the methods of using journalistic techniques. The purpose of this community service is to make it easier for the community to gain the ability to learn about journalism and demonstrate the use of online news to the community, especially residents of Komplek Kebersihan RT13/RW10 Cengkareng, West Jakarta. The result of community service is getting good knowledge about journalism after studying the Nachannel.my.id News Portal which has various features both in reporting information, videos and polls, which also includes features to promote products. In conclusion, with this community service, the community can gain knowledge about basic techniques of news journalism and also get training in using news portal application features on Android smartphones on mobile devices (smartphones) and laptops used by residents, especially residents of the Komplek kebersihan RT13/RW10 Cengkareng West Jakarta.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase students' enthusiasm in learning sets so that students are interested in learning sets. The method used in this service is the game method in answering questions from the set. The results obtained from service activities using the game method are that students are faster at solving set problems compared to solving problems in a theoretical way. The conclusion that can be drawn from this service activity is that learning math using the game method can teach students to concentrate more in the process of learning math at school.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide knowledge to students about the importance of a healthy lifestyle from an early age. This counseling is carried out to provide knowledge on how to live a healthy lifestyle and prevent some dangerous diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and high cholesterol. This activity uses interactive counseling methods to students. Students who participated in this activity were 87 students of class X SMA Yadika. PHBS knowledge test results reached 70.5 which means quite good. These results still require follow-up counseling related to such as a healthy environment and nutritious and healthy food and a good diet.

Abstract

Currently, many students do not understand the values ​​of Pancasila well and deeply. So, it is necessary to carry out activities at the Berastagi Christian High School with the theme of the student movement for good practice habits to realize the profile of Pancasila students through learning based on local wisdom. The activity was carried out through four stages, namely seven minutes with God, We Save The World (class cleanliness), Team Work (safety in class), and socialization of the Geogebra software. The results show an increase in students' understanding and appreciation of Pancasila values ​​and local wisdom. In addition, this activity also assists students in developing good attitudes and behavior through the habituation of good practices carried out in daily activities at school.

Abstract

The Kemuning Women Farmers Group (KWT) is a fairly active farmer group in Jorong Ampang, Nagari Piobang, Payakumbuh District, Fifty City District, West Sumatra. KWT Kemuning has group activities in agriculture and animal husbandry. In the field of animal husbandry, he is active in raising cattle which are raised in colonies. The problem found in rearing is the poor growth of the cows. This is seen from the performance of thin cows. The service activities carried out were counseling on cattle rearing patterns, cattle health checks, making complete feed fermentation based on corn plant waste and administering worm medicine. The method of service carried out is in the form of lectures, discussions and direct practice. The results obtained were complete feed fermentation based on corn plant waste liked by cows and there were indications that the cows in the group were infected with worms after a cow health examination.
