Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes of mathematics content through concrete learning media on the material of building nets for class V MI Bani Hasyim Lengkong Cerme Gresik. This type of research is Classroom Action Research using a research design from Kemmis and Tagart which consists of two cycles with each cycle consisting of one meeting. The subjects of this study were students of class V MI Bani Hasyim Lengkong Cerme Gresik, totaling 14 students consisting of 4 male students and 10 female students. Data collection techniques used are structured interviews, tests (pre-test and post-test), and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative. The results of the Classroom Action Research showed that there was an increase in the actions of cycle I and cycle II. The learning outcomes of fifth graders experienced an increase in the content of mathematics after using concrete learning media. This is indicated by an increase in the percentage of complete learning outcomes and the average learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of MI Bani Hasyim.

Abstract

Intelligence is the ability to follow the knowledge, skills and expertise of a person to solve problems. In essence, every individual has several intelligences, including linguistic, mathematical, visual, spatial, kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musical and naturalist intelligences. However, the portion owned by each individual is not the same depending on how to develop all existing intelligence. With the birth of various types of intelligence that exist that each individual must understand, it is hoped that educators will not only assume that students who are smart and achievers are not academically intelligent. Because the potential of students in addition to the ability of the academic field only. All intelligences can be applied and can be companions independently of one another. In various theories of multiple intelligences, a teacher can indirectly master and learn with various learning methods. So that the function of the teacher here is as an educator, mentor, coach, advisor, reformer, creativity booster, generator, evaluator so that students succeed in optimizing.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is always considered difficult by most students. To be able to make students more interested and understand mathematical concepts, the teacher should present mathematics lessons as attractively as possible and change abstract mathematical concepts to be more concrete. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes in unit time when learning was assisted by the use of wall clock media. This research is classroom action research with participatory collaborative research type. The research model used is a research model from Stephen Kemmis and Mc Taggart with data collection methods in the form of tests and interviews. The results showed that there was an increase in the number of students who completed learning from the original 30% before being given action, to 95% in the second cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning mathematics in unit time using wall clock media can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The level of reading skills is very closely related to the level of students' linguistic intelligence. One way to improve reading skills is to make reading activities a habit. This study aims to determine the effect of reading habit before learning with the aid of picture story books to improve the linguistic intelligence of second grade students of SD N Duduwetan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. The research instrument is a guide observation sheet and interviews with data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the level of reading skills obtained are 3 students with low skill levels, 4 students with medium skill levels and 4 students with high skill levels. It can be seen that the students' skill level is better than before the implementation of reading habit with the help of picture story books. Then students' communication skills also increase. So the increase in linguistic intelligence of the second grade students of SD Negeri Duduwetan after the application of reading habits before learning.

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of reading skills in grade I students of SDN Jatiwates 2. This research is a type of classroom action research using the Kurt Lewin model which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The methods used to collect data are tests, observations, and documentation. The collected data was then analyzed through qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. The results obtained in this study are learning by using image media as learning media is welcomed by students. Students at SDN Jatiwates 2 experienced an increase in learning related to reading skills in this way of learning from the pre-cycle stage to the second cycle. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that learning using image media using the SAS method can be used as an alternative in reading skills and can be applied in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the long unit board learning media can improve student learning outcomes at SDN Mojopitu, Slahung sub-district. This research is a classroom action research using Kurt Lewin's research design. In this classroom action research, it was conducted at SDN Mojopitu, Slahung District, Ponorogo Regency by taking the research subject for grade 3 as many as 6 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, documentation, posttest and pretest. The instruments used in this study include teacher interview texts, posttest and pretest instruments. The results showed that the long unit board learning media could improve students' understanding of the length unit material for grade 3 students at Mojopitu State Elementary School, Slahung District, Ponorogo Regency. It shows that learning the length unit material using the long unit board media that the average class in the initial conditions is 56.66 with a classical mastery level of 33.33%. In the first cycle the average class was 61.66 with 50% classical completeness. Then in the second cycle the class average was 63.33 with 73.33% classical completeness.

Abstract

Logical-mathematical intelligence for a student is related to the student's ability to calculate, measure, and complete mathematical operations. This study aims to see whether there is an effect of the team games tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model to develop logical-mathematical intelligence on the learning outcomes of third grade students at SDN Kedung Peluk 1 Candi. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. This type of research is associative research. The population in this study, amounted to 21 students of class III. There are two methods used to collect data in this research technique, namely: test and observation. Based on the results of data analysis, this study shows that there is a positive and significant influence on mathematical logical intelligence on student learning outcomes, using the team games tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model with the help of bingo, third grade students at SDN Kedung Peluk 1 Candi get with an average score of 96 with fractions math material.

Abstract

Learning media is a means used in delivering information from teachers to students during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of learning media on students' motivation and learning outcomes, especially in science subjects about Changes in Objects in the fifth grade of elementary school. This research can be categorized as Participatory Action Research (PAR), where the data management in this study uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis which is analyzed by descriptive method. Based on the results of these studies, it is clear that the use of learning media in the learning process greatly influences students' motivation and learning outcomes where higher learning outcomes are obtained by utilizing learning media with an average that can be exceeded by all students with scores above the average obtained by each. -each student. Therefore, it is hoped that educators will be able to develop more creative and innovative learning media so that learning objectives can be carried out properly and are able to create meaningful learning for students.

Abstract

The progress of data and correspondence innovation (ICT) is currently closely connected with the times that are always present bringing change. This innovation is aimed at leading to positive changes in teaching and learning activities. The implementation of citizenship learning for grade 5 students at SDN Bagor is in accordance with the standard of the education process, but is not yet optimal. When carrying out learning, compared to the use of media in other subjects, conventional media in the form of images are still used in Civics subjects. This implies that Civics learning has not kept up with the times. For this reason, interactive multimedia-based learning is held in Civics lessons. The method used is Classroom Action Research, also known as CAR (Classroom Action Research). Data collection methods used in this study were observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study stated that there was an effect of the application of interactive multimedia-based learning in Civics learning on the interest of 5th graders at SDN Bagor.
