Abstract

This study aims to improve science process skills in science learning the material of changing the shape of objects in fifth grade students of SDS Plus Al Mubarokah through the experimental method. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research with the research design of the Kemmis & McTaggart model consisting of 4 stages including planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 4 students of class V. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings conducted by applying the experimental method. The technique of collecting data in this research is through interviews, observation, documentation, and worksheets. Data collection instruments in the form of interview sheets, observation sheets, documentation sheets, and worksheets. In this study, the data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the application of the experimental method can improve students' science process skills by 25%. The average score of students' science process skills in the first cycle was 62.5% and in the second cycle it was 87.5%. In conclusion, the application of the experimental method can improve the science process skills of the fifth grade (Five) SDS Plus Al Mubarokah students in learning the science of changing the shape of objects.

Abstract

This article discusses the classroom action research that has been carried out regarding increasing students' attention to the Indonesian language learning process through ice breaking. This research was conducted because there were problems in learning in class IV SDN Boro, namely many students were chatting and playing alone instead of paying attention to the teacher explaining the material or friends during presentations. The purpose of this research is to increase students' attention through ice breaking in the Indonesian language learning process. This research was conducted from pre-cycle, cycle I, to cycle II. In the pre-cycle, data were taken from the results of observations, interviews, and questionnaires. While in cycles I and II, the data were obtained from observations and questionnaires. The results showed that the attention of students can be increased by the presence of ice breaking in learning activities. This can be seen from the average attention score obtained by students in the initial observation (pre-cycle) which is 51.3 in the medium category, then the average attention score increases in the first cycle which is 72.3 in the high category, and increased higher in the second cycle that is equal to 82.3 with a very high category and students who get a score of 70 are as many as 20 students (91%). This research should be a reference for solving problems related to the lack of attention of students in the Indonesian language learning process so as to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar is one of the activities of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Mengajar (MBKM) which is engaged in teaching activities. Kampus Mengajar has three main objectives, namely improving literacy and numeracy, adapting technology and assisting administration in schools. This research focuses on efforts to improve literacy and numeracy in elementary schools that have 3T criteria (Lagged, Outermost, and Frontier). The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The target public elementary school is SDN Darungan 02 as the research subject. The object of the research is an effort to improve literacy and numeracy at SDN Darungan 02, Tanggul, Jember Regency. Data collection using observation and documentation techniques. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the process of increasing literacy and numeracy by using the consistency learning method in practicing reading, discussing, counting and showing learning videos has a positive impact on students in improving literacy and numeracy skills. The Kampus Mengajar Program also encourages students to evaluate and map literacy and numeracy learning outcomes by carrying out a pretest and posttest for the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), especially for grade 5. The AKM assessment also aims to make students accustomed to taking tests using computers/laptops.

Abstract

Application of the Contextual Approach with the Buffalo Media (Kramangka Bangun Ruang) in Improving Learning for Grade V students at SDN Banyuajuh 04 academic year 2021/2022. The purpose of this study is to improve learning about the properties of prisms through the application of a contextual approach with buffalo media (framework) in fifth grade students of SDN Banyuajuh 04 Academic Year 2021/2022. This collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out in three cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SDN Banyuajuh 04 for the academic year 2021/2022 with a total of 12 students. The conclusion of this study is that the application of a contextual approach with buffalo media can improve the learning of spatial construction in fifth grade students of SDN Banyuajuh 04 academic year 2021/2022.

Abstract

The selection of appropriate learning methods has a major effect on improving the quality of education. The purpose of this study was to determine how much increase in activity and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Kamal 3 after applying the picture and picture method. The research data was taken using test, observation, and documentation techniques and then analyzed using an interactive model which has three components, namely data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate an increase in the score of student activity and learning outcomes after applying the picture and picture method. At the end of the cycle the percentage of students who actively asked, answered, and carried out the teacher's orders achieved high scores of 87%, 93%, and 93%, respectively. At the end of cycle II, it also shows that all students have finished studying so that the class can be said to have completed classically. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the picture and picture method can increase the activity and learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Kamal 3

Abstract

This research was conducted to improve students understanding and learning outcomes through classroom action research using picture story media in the form of power point. This research was conducted in class II SD Negeri Kesamben 02, District Kesamben Jombang with a total of 16 students consisting of 10 boys and 6 girls. This classroom action research uses the Cooperative Learning (CIRC) learning model and aims to use illustrated story media in Indonesian language learning, as an effort to improve students' understanding and learning outcomes related to the content of fables. Collecting data in this study through observation, documentation, and student learning outcomes. The data that has been collected was analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate an increase in both learning outcomes and student activity in learning. student learning outcomes showed an increase as follows: before the increase in the average grade of 75% and after the increase to 88%. Then for the percentage of students' activeness value in cycle 1 is 37.7% and in cycle 2 is 62.5%. So it can be concluded that learning Indonesian about the content of fables through picture story media in the form of power point can improve students' understanding and learning outcomes.

Abstract

One way to improve students understanding of mathematics is to present mathematics learning in the form of games. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in mathematics learning outcomes for third grade students at SDN Kedung Peluk 1 due to the application of the TGT type cooperative learning model with bingo media. The data in the study were collected using observation, interview, documentation and test techniques. The research was conducted in 2 cycles with reflection in each cycle. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, the third grade students of SDN Kedung Peluk 1 experienced an increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2. In cycle 1 students obtained an average score of 68, while in cycle 2 obtained an average score of 90. When carrying out learning observations carried out by observer, which proves that the team games tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model is very well applied in learning, so that students experience an increase in learning outcomes and are expected to be used as references for the next teaching and learning process. Thus, it can be concluded that the team games tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model assisted by bingo media is effectively applied during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The science learning outcomes of sixth graders at SDN Dlemer in understanding solar and lunar eclipses are still low. This is caused by teachers who only use the lecture method so that learning becomes ineffective. To improve student learning outcomes on the material of solar and lunar eclipses, it is necessary to have a variety of learning methods, one of which is the demonstration method. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the demonstration method can improve the learning outcomes of sixth grade students at SDN Dlemer. This research is in the form of classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. Collecting data using interview, observation, test, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of students in science subjects regarding solar and lunar eclipses have increased. In the first cycle the average value of the class was 54.37 and the remaining number of students who successfully completed it were 6 students or 37.5%. In the second cycle the average value of the class increased to 80.25 with the number of students who successfully completed 14 students or 86.5%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

One of the characteristics of students who have high learning motivation is active in learning activities. This is one indicator that learning can be said to be meaningful. One way to increase students motivation and activeness in learning is to use interactive media. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of interactive media can increase the motivation and activity of third grade students at SDN Petok. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The data was then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student activity based on the results of observations made by researchers. Until the end of the second cycle, all students from the front to the back seemed active and enthusiastic about the material presented by the researcher. All students look serious in discussion activities and when working on group assignments. In addition, there were some students who actively asked questions when they found material they did not understand and were responsive in answering several questions from the teacher. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that interactive learning media can increase students motivation and activeness in learning

Abstract

One of the most basic techniques in the game of soccer is to be able to make good and correct passes. This study aims to determine whether the drill and practice method can improve the ability of students at SDN Kamal 3 and the extent of the resulting improvement. This research is classified as a classroom action research method. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation, tests, and documentation. Based on the results of the research conducted at SDN Kamal 3, the researchers found that many students still could not do good and correct passing events. This research was held in 2 cycles. The results showed that in cycle 1, students experienced an increase from before, but the result was that there were still some students who had not yet completed the percentage of completeness which was at 69% and incompleteness was at 31%. In cycle 2, the drastic increase experienced by students with completeness is at a maximum of 100% while incompleteness is at a minimum of 0%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the drill and practice method can improve students' abilities in carrying out passing techniques
