Abstract

As time goes by, interactive media has become an alternative learning method. Learning using interactive media has added value to the educational process, one area of ”‹”‹learning that requires innovation is religious learning. The Indonesian government recognizes the existence of religious diversity, where religious tolerance needs to be socialized to its adherents, especially children. Religious tolerance material in terms of various religions can be socialized through information technology-based learning media. This media is classified as interactive media which supports the effectiveness of learning because it utilizes multimedia. The aim of this research is to design learning media regarding religious tolerance using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle method. This method has six stages, namely the concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution stages. This application has been tested using functional tests and beta tests carried out with teachers. The test results show that the functions have worked as expected. The results of this research can play a role in understanding children about religious tolerance through religious tolerance material that is appropriate to their respective religions.

Abstract

Independent learning is an activity carried out by students with the aim that students can explore the material provided by the lecturer. Therefore, the Daily Report application is here to help students report independent learning activities carried out by students. Problems arise when students find it difficult to use the Daily Report application due to several things such as inappropriate button placement, input form design that is too rigid and using inappropriate fonts and icons. The aim of this research is to develop the Daily Report application design by applying the user-centered design methodology. The user-centered design methodology is an application design development methodology that focuses on user needs. This research resulted in the development of the Daily Report application design with test results using the usability scale system obtaining an average usability score of 73 with a scale grade of C and an adjective rating of Good, which proves that the development of the application design makes it easier for students to use the Daily Report application.

Abstract

Reservations are a form of service provided by companies for arranging or ordering, for example, tickets, tables, hotel rooms for someone at a certain time. There are many ways to provide reservation services, one of which is through communication media. This research is a development of "Designing a Reservation Application for Karunia Tour and Travel Services with Payment Gateway Implementation". The aim is to complete the reservation application with a real-time chat service feature (livechat) to help companies and consumers communicate regarding tour and travel reservation services. Methodology The application development used in this research is Extreme Programing (XP) which is divided into four stages including Planning, Design, Coding and Testing. The application design model uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Class Responsibility Collaboration (CRC). chat that is integrated with the tour and travel reservation application at the Jasa Karunia company.

Abstract

Applications of artificial intelligence, such as Chat-GPT and Bard, have become common in various aspects of life today. One of the main aspects is the use of the Question Answering (QA) model to meet specific domain needs. However, in some cases, models like Bard may not be able to provide specific information, such as registration procedures at a particular company or lecturer schedules at a university. To overcome this challenge, an Indonesian QA model called IndoBERT-QA has been developed. This research aims to evaluate the capabilities of IndoBERT-QA in a specific domain context using the Mean Reciprocal Rank (MRR) evaluation method. The evaluation results show that the IndoBERT-QA model is able to achieve an MRR of 0.91 with an approach to creating a customized context for each question. These results indicate that this model has good performance in providing relevant answers. The benefit of this research is that it serves as a valuable reference for the development of QA systems that will be created by other parties in the same environment. By utilizing a well-tested and evaluated approach, this research provides a strong foundation for the development of a high-performance QA system in Indonesian, so that it can meet domain-specific needs. Besides that, this research also provides insights for further development. One approach that can be explored is the use of Information Retrieval or Passage Retrieval as an initial step in the QA process. This can help the model in getting more precise and relevant context, thereby allowing further improvement in the quality of the answers provided by the model. Abstract

In the current era of globalization and technological advances, mastery of English is very important, but conventional teaching processes are still widely applied. There is a need to develop more interactive and effective learning media, especially for kindergarten children, which combines English and Indonesian. The aim of this research is to develop an Augmented Reality (AR) based application that can introduce the names of items and animals in two languages ”‹”‹(Indonesian and English) to kindergarten children. This application is designed to provide a fun and interactive learning alternative outside of school hours. Methodology: This research uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) methodology, which includes the stages of Literature Study, Concept, Design, Material Collection, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. This application was developed using the Android platform with the application of Augmented Reality technology to display interactive 3D objects. Results: The application developed successfully met the needs of language learning and interactivity. Test results show that 89% of 37 users (kindergarten teachers and parents) involved in beta testing gave positive feedback to this application, confirming its effectiveness in supporting learning activities. This application offers a new learning method that can replace or complement conventional learning methods in a more interesting and interactive way. This not only supports dual language learning from an early age but also integrates the latest technology in education.

Abstract

Nagori Purba Dolok village office, Purba District, Simalungun Regency in resolving problems related to village fund management takes a relatively long time. Based on the results of the author's interview with village officials, Mr. Renhard Purba, this is because they still use a simple system, namely using Microsoft Office and village fund data in the office is still stored in an archive. To overcome this problem, additional staff can be done, but this is not appropriate because it will increase the agency's operational costs. So the author designed a village fund management system using HTML5 and PHP technology, which is expected to make it easier to resolve the problems faced by the Nagori Purba Dolok village office. With this system, officers can process village funds easily and provide input to leaders for developing a village fund management system in the future.

Abstract

The eye is one of the senses that has great importance, because it functions in connection with the surrounding environment. If there are eye problems that are ignored, it will be an early sign of a potentially dangerous eye disorder. As the quality of life decreases and the level of stress received, complaints related to eye disease also increase. Human knowledge and skills are not eternal, they can be lost due to various reasons such as death, retirement, or job changes. When making conclusions, experts may be influenced by certain factors that have the potential to influence the final outcome of that conclusion. So that society can prevent and treat eye diseases, an expert system application is needed to assist eye polyclinic officers and the public in diagnosing eye diseases using the Bayes Theorem inference method. Bayes' theorem is a mathematical equation used to estimate the possibility of future events or their probabilities. This probability refers to the chance of an outcome occurring based on previous information. Its function is to update existing predictions or hypotheses. The results of this research are conclusions about the type of eye disease suffered based on the symptoms chosen by the patient and have been calculated using Bayes calculations. Based on testing 50 patient sample data, the percentage of conformity between the system and experts was 86% of the test data.

Abstract

One form of upholding democracy carried out by the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is through holding presidential elections or often known as presidential elections. which is held every five years to elect the next President. Apart from that, in this digital era, people are increasingly actively using social media to convey their views, opinions and sentiments regarding the presidential election. Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, many groups such as political parties, success teams, buzzers and supporters are using social media as a campaign medium to increase the popularity and electability of their prospective candidates. One of the social media that is widely used in political party promotion media is Twitter. Which is used by people to post various comments that can be positive or negative regarding the election. Sometimes, people also express hoax opinions before or during the election. Considering that comments on Twitter are currently difficult to categorize as positive or negative, sentiment analysis is needed to understand public attitudes towards the presidential election. This research aims to evaluate text documents and determine whether the documents have a positive or negative sentiment orientation. Apart from that, the method used is K-Means to cluster the data. The results of this weighting are in the form of positive and negative sentiment. Data taken from Twitter regarding the 2024 presidential election (pilpres) totaling 1015 tweet data.

Abstract

The millennial generation, who are familiar with electronic devices and the internet, have become accustomed to ordering food via applications. Because the use of applications for ordering food has expanded due to the digital economy era. Where economic activities have begun to be based on the use of information technology. However, this certainly needs to be researched further to find out more about how technology through online orders can influence interest behavior and repurchase decisions among the millennial generation. This research aims to identify factors that influence consumers to make repurchase decisions, including perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, trust, and purchase decisions. In this research, the population used as a sample was 100 respondents. The author uses primary data, namely by distributing questionnaires to GoFood users. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data processing technique used is by using a t-test on each path of partial direct influence. The research results show that perceived ease of use influences purchase intention, perceived usefulness influences purchase decision, trust influences purchase decision. perceived ease of use influences the intention to repurchase decision, perceived usefulness influences the intention to repurchase decision, trust influences the intention to repurchase decision, and Purchase intention (purchase decision) influences the intention to repurchase (repurchase decision). The implications of this research further clarify how the role of technology applied in the culinary business influences people's interest in using the Gofood application.

Abstract

Significant changes in learning approaches, methods and tools in the digitalization era have given rise to the need for Student E-Worksheets (E-LKPD) which can advance students' critical and creative thinking abilities. This research designs E-LKPD based on government regulations using the User Centered Design (UCD), Software Requirements Specification (SRS) and System Usability Scale (SUS) methods. Through the UCD design stages, E-LKPD succeeded in creating a user-friendly website that complies with the learning rules for students in secondary schools. This research aims to produce digital-based teaching materials in the form of E-LKPD by implementing User Centered Design (UCD) and Software Requirements Specification (SRS). The results were proven through Usability Testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) approach, obtaining a score of 80.667 with the grade A category, Excellent in Adjective, Acceptable, and the Promoter category in the Net Promoter Score (NPS) which shows that E-LKPD has been successfully designed with good usability and suitable for use according to user needs.
