Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal, fasilitas per-pustakaan dan tata ruang perpustakaan terhadap kualitas pelayanan di UPT Perpustakaan UNNES (Rumah Ilmu). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan statistik deskriptif presentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh simultan variabel komunikasi interpersonal, fasilitas perpustakaan dan tata ruang perpusta-kaan terhadap kualitas pelayanan sebesar 61,9%. Secara parsial komunikasi interpersonal berpenga-ruh terhadap komunikasi interpersonal sebesar 11,90%, fasilitas perpustakaan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan sebesar 37,82% dan tata ruang perpustakaan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pela-yanan sebesar 7,34%. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal, fasilitas perpustakaan, dan tata ruang perpustakaan berpengaruh positif dan signikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan.Kata Kunci: Interpersonal Communication; Facilities; Layout; Service Quality; Studies of the service quality of the Universitas Negeri Semarang Library UPT Rumah Ilmu through interpersonal communication, facilities, and spatial layout Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of interpersonal communication, library facilities, and library layout on service quality at the UNNES Library (Rumah Ilmu). Data collection methods using questionnaires, analyzed using multiple linear regression and percentage descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that there is a simultaneous influence of interpersonal communication variables, library facilities, and library layout on service quality by 61.9%. Partially, interpersonal communication affects interpersonal communication by 11.90%, library facilities affect service quality by 37.82% and library layout affects service quality by 7.34%. The results of this study also show that interpersonal communication, library facilities, and library layout have a positive and significant effect on service quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbantuan YouTube pada masa pandemi COVID-19 terhadap kemampuan pemahaman segitiga siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Jenis Penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi experimental yang dilaksanakan di SMP N Kota Bengkulu pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 dengan populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VII dan sampel penelitian adalah Kelas VII sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas VII sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbantuan YouTube pada masa pandemi COVID-19 yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemahaman segitiga dengan nilai probabilitas (p) kemampuan pemahaman segitiga siswa p < 0,05. Selain itu, berda-sarkan nilai rsquare pembelajaran berbantuan YouTube pada masa pandemi COVID-19 memberikan pengaruh sebesar 30,8% terhadap kemampuan pemahaman segitiga siswa. Simpulannya adalah bahwa pembelajaran berbantuan YouTube pada masa pandemi COVID-19 berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan pemahaman segitiga siswa. YouTube learning: Improving junior high school student's understanding of triangles during the Pandemic Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of YouTube-assisted learning during the COVID-19 pandemic on students' triangle understanding ability in Junior High School. The type of research is experimental research with a quasi-experimental design conducted at SMP N Kota Bengkulu in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, with the research population being all Class VII students and the research samples being Class VII as the experimental class and Class VII as the control class. The results showed that there was a significant effect of YouTube-assisted learning during the COVID-19 pandemic on the ability to understand triangles with a probability value (p) of students' triangle understanding ability p < 0.05. In addition, based on the rsquare value, YouTube-assisted learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has an influence of 30.8% on students' triangle understanding ability. The conclusion is that YouTube-assisted learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has a positive effect on students' triangle understanding ability.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan yang rawan terjadi bencana. Bencana yang sering terjadi dapat manimbulkan dampak bagi individu salah satunya dampak psikologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan psychological first aid pada mahasiswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi atau eksperimen semu. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kognitif PFA dengan koefisien reliabilitasnya sebesar 0,65. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 50 orang mahasiswa yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Data diperoleh dari nilai pengisian instrumen kognitif PFA sebelum dan setelah diberikan intervensi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon, uji student, dan uji mann-whitney menggunakan bantuan komputer dengan software JASP versi 0.17.3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan nilai p < ,001 terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan psychological first aid pada mahasiswa serta terdapat perbedaan peningkatan pengetahuan antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol setelah diberikan pendidikan kebencanaan melalui intervensi health coaching. Improving knowledge of psychological first aid among student disaster volunteers through health coaching interventions: A quasi-experimental study Abstract: Indonesia is an archipelagic country that is prone to disasters Frequent disasters can have an impact on individuals, including psychological effects This research aims to enhance knowledge of psychological first aid among students The research method used quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental methods Data collection tools utilized the cognitive PFA instrument with a reliability coefficient of 065 The research subjects consisted of 50 students divided into control and experimental groups Data were obtained from pre- and post-intervention cognitive PFA instrument scores Data analysis techniques included Wilcoxon test, student's t-test, and Mann-Whitney test using JASP software version 0.17.3. The research findings indicate that there is an increase in psychological first aid knowledge among students with a p-value of <,001 Furthermore, there is a difference in knowledge improvement between the experimental group and the control group after receiving disaster education through health coaching intervention.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of utilizing English Movies as a learning aid on students' oral proficiency in senior high schools in Indonesia. The research is an experimental study with a quasi-experimental design in a senior high school in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The research population consisted of all students of the Grade XI Science class. However, only two classes were selected purposively as the research samples: the Grade XI Science 1 class as an experimental group and the Grade XI Science 2 class as a control group. The number of the students were 22 and 24 respectively. With a probability value (p) for students' oral competency of p < 0.05, the research findings demonstrate a strong impact of learning aided by English movies on speaking abilities. In addition, the average score of students who utilized English Movies to enhance their speaking skills had a significant impact of 51.8182 compared to their counterparts in the control group, with an average score of 36.6667. In conclusion, the utilization of English Movies as a learning tool has a positive impact on promoting students' oral proficiency.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel motivasi belajar, self-efficacy, dan pengalaman mengajar terhadap kemampuan kompetensi pedagogik pada mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah menggunakan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini sejumlah 108 mahasiswa dan sampel sejumlah 76 mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran angkatan 2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik nonprobability sampling yang merujuk kepada teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan angket. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini diantaranya (1) Terdapat pengaruh secara parsial positif dan signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan kompetensi pedagogik. (2) Terdapat  pengaruh  positif dan signifikan self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan kompetensi pedagogik. (3)  Terdapat  pengaruh positif  dan signifikan pengalaman mengajar terhadap kemampuan kompetensi pedagogik. (4) Terdapat pengaruh  positif dan signifikan secara simultan variabel motivasi belajar, self-efficacy dan pengalaman mengajar terhadap kemampuan kompetensi pedagogik pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Administrasi Perkantoran Universitas Negeri Semarang tahun 2020.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Kompetensi Pedagogik; Motivasi Belajar; Self-Efficacy; Pengalaman Mengajar Analysis of the influence of learning motivation, self-efficacy, and teaching experience on the pedagogical competence of office administration education students. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of learning motivation variables, self-efficacy, and teaching experience on the ability of pedagogical competence in students. This type of research is quantitative. The population of this study was 108 students and the sample was 76 students of Office Administration Education class of 2020. The sampling technique used is a nonprobability sampling technique that refers to a purposive sampling technique. Research data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study include (1) There is a partially positive and significant effect of learning motivation on pedagogical competence. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of self-efficacy on the ability of pedagogical competence. (3) Teaching experience has a positive and significant effect on pedagogical competence. (4) There is a simultaneous positive and significant effect of learning motivation, self-efficacy, and teaching experience variables on pedagogical competence abilities in Office Administration Economics Education students at Semarang State University in 2020.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media Kahoot. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI OTKP di SMK Teuku Umar Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan butir soal pilihan ganda. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji t, dan uji n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre test kelas kontrol sebesar 49,65 dan rata-rata nilai post test sebesar 69,76. Nilai rata-rata pre test kelas eksperimen sebesar 46,71 dan rata-rata nilai post test sebesar 85,65. Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar (n-gain) pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,38 sedangkan peningkatan hasil belajar (n-gain) pada kelas eksperimen adalah sebesar 0,72. Kesimpulannya adalah hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media Kahoot lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media PowerPoint. Effectiveness of Kahoot vs. PowerPoint in improving student learning outcomes: A quasi-experimental study Abstract: This research aims to determine the different learning outcomes of students who use PowerPoint media and the learning outcomes of students who use Kahoot media. The subjects in this research were all class XI OTKP students at Teuku Umar Vocational School, Semarang. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type of research. The data collection method uses multiple-choice questions. The data analysis method uses the normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, and n-gain test. The research results showed that the average pre-test score for the control class was 49.65 and the average post-test score was 69.76. The average pre-test score for the experimental class was 46.71 and the average post-test score was 85.65. There was an increase in learning outcomes (n-gain) in the control class of 0.38, while an increase in learning outcomes (n-gain) in the experimental class was 0.72. The conclusion is that the learning outcomes of students who use Kahoot media are higher than the learning outcomes of students who use PowerPoint media.

Abstract

This study explored the online assessment literacy (OAL) of teachers in Denpasar, focusing on categorical variables affecting literacy levels. Utilizing a descriptive quantitative approach, the research used a cross-sectional design. The population was composed of EFL teachers within the Denpasar region, data were collected from elementary to high school teachers through scored survey questionnaires. Samples were 64 EFL teachers composed of diverse demographic backgrounds. Findings indicated a predominant "Fair" level of OAL among English teachers. These results align with prior research, emphasizing the need for professional development in validity and test design. Concerns were raised about pre-service education's effectiveness in preparing teachers for digital assessments. The study underscores the importance of Online assessment literacy and suggests targeted interventions to enhance educators' assessment literacy, highlighting the necessity to adapt to evolving technological landscapes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh informasi dunia kerja, bimbingan karir, dan ekspektasi karir terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XI Jurusan Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis (MPLB) SMK Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 84 siswa dengan menggunakan rumus slovin dan teknik simple random sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan pendekatan SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara informasi dunia kerja, bimbingan karir, dan ekspektasi karir terhadap kesiapan kerja sebesar 0,779; (2) pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara informasi dunia kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja sebesar 0,255; (3) pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara bimbingan karir terhadap kesiapan kerja sebesar 0,261; (4) pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara ekspektasi karir terhadap kesiapan kerja sebesar sebesar 0,490. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa informasi dunia kerja, bimbingan karir dan ekspektasi karir memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan baik secara simultan atau parsial terhadap kesiapan kerja.Kata Kunci: Informasi Dunia Kerja; Bimbingan Karir; Ekspektasi Karir; Kesiapan Kerja The influence information work of the world, guidance career, and career expectation towards work readiness Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of work world information, career guidance, and career expectations on the work readiness of Grade XI students of the Department of Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) of SMK Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara.  This type of research uses quantitative research. Data collection was carried out by spreading questionnaires and analyzing using SEM-PLS. The number of samples used in the study was 84 students using the Slovine formula and simple random sampling techniques. The methods of data analysis used are descriptive statistical analysis and inference statistical analysis. The results of this study showed that (1) there was a positive and significant influence between work world information, career guidance, and career expectations on work readiness of 0.779; (2) there was a positive and significant influence between work world information on work readiness of 0.255; (3) there is a positive and significant effect between career guidance on employment readiness of 0.261; (4) there is a positive and significant effect between career expectations on employment readiness of 0.490. The conclusions of this study show that work world information, career guidance and career expectations have a positive and significant effect either simultaneously or partially on job readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a measurement instrument for the implementation of Islamic lifestyle guidelines among Muhammadiyah community members. The research procedure adapts Borg and Gall's development research model. The steps in instrument development include preliminary research, planning, initial product development, limited testing, and expanded testing. Five experts were involved in the development of the initial product, with expertise covering measurement, religious thought, and Muhammadiyah practice. The expert assessment data were analyzed using the Aiken formula. Twenty-five Muhammadiyah leaders in Karanyanyar participated in the limited testing phase, and the data from this phase were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis with SPSS. The expanded testing involved 253 leaders and members of Muhammadiyah in the districts of Karanganyar, Sragen, and Boyolali, selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The data from the expanded testing were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) with LISREL software. The research resulted in a package of 27 valid and reliable measurement items for the implementation of Islamic lifestyle guidelines among Muhammadiyah members, suitable for further measurement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan latar belakang status sosial ekonomi (SES) dan gender dengan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi anak usia 6-12 tahun di Indonesia. Menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda, penelitian ini menelusuri hubungan antara hasil asesmen literasi dan numerasi dengan berbagai variabel SES dan gender. Data diperoleh dari asesmen Pengukuran Mandiri Literasi dan Numerasi PSPK (PEMANTIK) terhadap 20.523 anak yang tersebar di 21 provinsi dan 79 kabupaten/kota. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang pendidikan dan pekerjaan orang tua, terutama ayah, memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi dan numerasi anak. Selain itu, anak laki-laki memiliki kemampuan numerasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan anak perempuan, sementara anak perempuan memiliki kemampuan literasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan anak laki-laki. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya intervensi yang disesuaikan berdasarkan latar belakang SES dan gender, khususnya pada tingkat sekolah dasar, guna meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi anak sebagai fondasi pendidikan di masa depan. Literacy and numeracy of children aged 6-12 years: The role of socioeconomic status and gender based on the PEMANTIK assessment Abstract: This study aims to analyze the relationship between SES background and gender with literacy and numeracy skills in children aged 6-12 years in Indonesia. Using descriptive statistical methods and multiple linear regression, the study examines the correlation between literacy and numeracy assessment results and various SES and gender variables. Data were obtained from the PSPK Independent Literacy and Numeracy Measurement Assessment (PEMANTIK), covering 20,523 children across 21 provinces and 79 districts/cities. The findings indicate that parental education and occupation, particularly the father’s, significantly affect children's literacy and numeracy skills. Furthermore, boys tend to have higher numeracy skills, while girls outperform boys in literacy at the primary school level. This study highlights the importance of tailored interventions based on SES and gender backgrounds, particularly in primary education, to enhance children's literacy and numeracy skills as the foundation for their future education.
