Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the ability to understand students' mathematical learning conceptsthrough a problem-based learning model (PBM). This research is a literature study with the data collectionmethod taking data from published scientific journals. The scientific journals that have been collected arethen analyzed and identified. Based on the results of the analysis and identification, it was found that theunderstanding of students' mathematics learning concepts increased through the application of problem-based learning models (PBM) so that the effect on learning outcomes was getting better, seen from the scoreof students' understanding of mathematics learning concepts which was increasing.

Abstract

Multikulturalisme merupakan kearifan untuk melihat keanekaragaman budaya sebagai realitas fundamental dalamkehidupan bermasyarakat. Kearifan itu segera muncul, jika seseorang membuka diri untuk menjalani kehidupanbersama dengan melihat realitas plural sebagai kemestian hidup yang kodrati, baik dalam kehidupan dirinya sendiriyang multidimensional maupun dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang lebih kompleks. Adapun masalah pokok penelitianini bagaimana persepsi dosen Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAIN Palu terkait penguatan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikulturaldi Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAIN Palu, Metode yang digunakan dalam ini melalui pendekatan kualitatif, kemudian untukmemperoleh data sesuai dengan permasalahan, adapaun teknik yang dilakukan dalam pengumpulan data melaluiobservasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosen Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAINPalu terkait penguatan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural di Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAIN Palu, yaitu 1) semuaresponden sepakat bahwa setuju terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural di Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAINPalu, menyatakan penguatan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural di Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAIN Palu seharusnyamembutuhkan kurikulum tersendiri, 3) sepakat perlunya bahan ajar khusus untuk mengajarkan nilai-nilai pendidikanmultikultural di Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAIN Palu. Bicara tentang dukungan penerapan penguatan nilai-nilaipendidikan multikultural di Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAIN Palu bahwa dosen Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAIN Palumenyatakan bahwa penguatan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural di Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAIN Palu sangat efektifuntuk diterapkan, dukungan masyarakat belum terlalu efektif, karena sebagian masyarakat belum sepenuhnyamemahami tentang hakikat dan tujuan pendidikan multicultural, dosen pada Prodi Tadris IPS FTIK IAIN Palumenyatakan kebijakan pemerintah sangat mendukung pelaksanaan penguatan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural diProdi Tadris IPS FTIK IAIN Palu.

Abstract

In this quantitative survey, the researchers aimed to investigate students' attitudes, perceptions, and experiences concerning the Grammar Translation Method (GTM) in English language instruction. The study involved fifteen students in class X of SMKN 1 Dampal Selatan. A questionnaire was used as an experimental tool to assess grammar learning. Data collection and analysis utilized a snowball technique. The questionnaire responses indicated that students generally had a positive attitude towards learning English and were familiar with GTM. They believed that learning grammar through translation waseasier, often used dictionaries, and appreciated teacher assistance with challenging words. However, they found grammar learning more challenging than expected and considered consistent learning necessary. Grouping words by category was seen as helpful, and mastering tenses was considered important for forming sentences. While students were open to structured sentence formation based on tenses, they expressed a preference for group work over individual activities.

Abstract

Penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif ini, yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Dampal Selatan, bertujuan untuk menilai dampak penerapan Metode Langsung dalam pengajaran pelafalan kepada siswa kelas sepuluh yang belajar bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing (EFL). Sebanyak lima belas responden dari kelas sepuluh diharuskan mengisi kuesioner yang terdiri dari sepuluh pertanyaan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan apakah penerapan Metode Langsung dapat efektif meningkatkan keterampilan pelafalan siswa saat digunakan oleh guru bahasa Inggris dalam lingkungan kelas. Hasil dari kuesioner mengungkapkan beberapa temuan kunci. Terutama, sebagian besar responden menyadari pentingnya pelafalan, dengan 53% sangat setuju dan 47% setuju bahwa hal itu penting untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan mereka. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan berharga tentang efektivitas Metode Langsung dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pelafalan siswa EFL dan menyoroti pentingnya metode ini dalam pengaturan kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh maraknya pekerja seks komersial (PSK). Tolitoli adalah salah satu kabupaten yang ada diprovinsi Sulawesi Tengah keberadaan pekerja seks komersial di kabupaten tolitoli memang tidak dapat dipungkiri. Munculnya fenomena pekerja seks komersial (PSK) di kabupaten tolitoli memang meresahkan Masyarakat para pekerja seks komersial terdapat dibeberapa tempat seperti kompleks POM bensin, kost-kost dan kafe-kafe tempat ini berada ditengah-tengah Masyarakat yang penduduknya sangat fluralistik, yakni terdiri dari berbagai ragam budaya dan etnis baik yang pendatang maupun etnis yang asli. Seperti bugis, kaili, jawa dan Gorontalo. Tetapi yang menjadi focus tempat penelitian peneliti adalah di kompleks POM bensin, tercatat ada 104 pekerja seks komersial dan 18 mucikari (data tahun 2010 Dinas Sosial), dan diantara mereka yang melakukan pekerjaan tersebut adalah dilatar belakangi factor ekonomi. Dalam penelitian menggunakanmetode penelitian kualitatif seorang peneliti menjadi instrument kunci. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dimana peneliti melakukan pengamatan langsung dan terlibat sepenuhnya dalam kegiatan informan kunci yang menjadi subjek penelitian dan sumber informasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pekerja seks komersial di Kabupaten Tolitoli yang terdapat kompleks pom bensin berjumlah 104, dan yang belum masuk dalam data Dinas Sosial di perkirakan ada 96 orang. Dan menjadi factor utama mereka melakukan pekerjaan tersebut adalah factor ekonomi

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam tulisan ini adalah tradisi mapatamma (khatam al-Qur’an) yang lahir dari sebuah komunitasmasyarakat Islam di lingkungan desa Lemba Harapan merupakan tradisi dari sebuah nilai sosial bagi masyarakat,sehingga keberadaan tradisi ini dapat dipertahankan. Dari latar belakang masalah tersebut, disusun rumusan masalahyaitu “bagaimana nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam tradisi mappatamma (khatam al-Qur’an) suku Mandar di desa LembaHarapan?”Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data penelitiandiperoleh dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, dan yang menjadi Informan adalah Kepala Desa, apparatdesa, masyarakat, Imam Masjid, guru ngaji dan anak ngaji.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam tradisi mappatamma (khatam al-Qur’an) sukuMandar di desa Lemba Harapan pada saat pelaksanaan rangkain tradisi sayyang pattudduk (kuda menari) adalah: (1)nilai akidah pada saat baca do’a, barazanji, passarung, lawasoji (2) nilai akhlak, saat naik sayyang pattudduk, messawe,parrawwana, pakkalindakdaq, (3) ukhuwah Islamiyah, pada saat berlansingnya acara tradisi mappatamma (4) nilaisosial, gotong royong membantu dalam pelaksanakan tradisi mappatamma (5) nilai etika, pelaksanaan sayyangpattudduk masyarakat senatiasa menjamu dan memuliakan tamunya, serta pemberian lawasoji kepda guru yang didalamnya telah diisi berbagai makanan tradisional dan (6) nilai motivasi, prosesi naik sayyang pattudduk anak ngajimerupakan motivasi. Adapun makna dari salasatu hidangan dari hidagnan acara mappatamma yaitu: 3 macam warnasokkol. Sokkol hitam bermakna sebagai “isyarat untuk melambangkan dari kegelapan menuju ke zaman yang terangmenderang”, sokol putih bermakna “kesucian dan kejernihan”, sokkol putih bermakna “agar kelak anaknya bisamemahami dan membaca al-Qur’an dengan baik dan benar”, dan sokkol kuning bermakna “air sebagai isyarat agar ilmuyang sesnatia mengalir sepeti air yang membawa kesejukan”.

Abstract

This research is aiming at elaborating the three educational centers which is a concept that gradually and integrated assumes educational responsibility for children. These three centers include education in the family environment, education in the school environment, and education in the community environment. The three centers responsible for education are required to work together comprehensively. This research uses a literature review approach combined with the researcher's reflection method. The literature method utilizes research articles published in various current scientific journals, while the reflection method is based on the knowledge and experience of researchers in recognizing, identifying and responding to student phenomena in various educational institutions. The family environment, which is the first environment and is considered the foundation of a child's education and the beginning of the education that will be pursued later, also plays a major role in personality formation. The school environment is the second environment that children face. Education in the school environment has a foundation, objectives, content, methods and other requirements which are arranged systematically in the form of a curriculum. Therefore, schools are considered the foundation of knowledge. Meanwhile, in society, children will be aware of a number of educational and teaching theories that have been taught in previous educational institutions. Then they will actualize and involve themselves in the community environment. Keywords: three centers of education, development, learning theory

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a positive effect of the Co-Op Co-Op type of Cooperative Learning Model on the mathematical communication skills of the students of SMP Negeri 2 Dampal Selatan. This research is a type of Pre Experimental Design research. The population and sample in this study were all seventh grade junior high school students. The instrument used to collect data was a mathematical communication ability test which was carried out before being treated (pretest) and after being treated (posttest) as well as observing the learning implementation sheet. Where the results of data analysis show that Ho is rejected, that is, there is an influence. The data analysis of this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Hypothesis testing using the i one sample test. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a positive effect of the Co-Op Co-Op type of Cooperative Learning Model on the Mathematical Communication Ability of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Dampal Selatan (medium category).

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the Active Learning model in improving students' learningoutcomes in the subject of Islamic faith and morals at MTs Alkhairaat Madinatul Ilmi, Dolo District, Sigi Regency. Themain issues addressed in this thesis are: How is the implementation of the Active Learning model in the subject ofIslamic faith and morals? What steps are used in implementing the Active Learning model in the subject of Islamic faithand morals? What are the obstacles and solutions to the Active Learning model in the subject of Islamic faith andmorals?The research approach is qualitative, employing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews,documentation, followed by data reduction, data presentation, and verification through triangulation methods.The results of this thesis research indicate that the implementation of the Active Learning model greatlyassists educators and students in the teaching and learning process. Students are encouraged to create an atmospherewhere they actively ask questions, inquire, and develop ideas, thereby becoming the center of learning activities.Educators act as facilitators, motivators, and inspirators, controlling, supervising, and providing opportunities forstudents to think critically, develop inspiration, and creativity. The implementation involves designing learningactivities, motivating students, organizing them, and presenting the material. Challenges in implementing the ActiveLearning model include students' lack of confidence and limited time allocation, while solutions involve motivatingstudents and training them to articulate thoughts and manage time effectively.

Abstract

Motivation to learn will not be built if students still find it difficult to accept PKN lessons, PKN subjects are consideredboring lessons. This phenomenon causes most lessons to be less popular with students because the subject matter isconsidered boring.The aims of this research are 1) to determine the inquiry-based learning process of class VII students at SMP Negeri 2Dampal Selatan, 2) to find out how the use of inquiry-based learning can improve students' understanding of civicslessons for class VII SMP Negeri 2 Dampal Selatan, 3) to find out to what extent implementation of inquiry-basedCivics learning can improve the understanding of class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Dampal Selatan, 4) to determinestudent responses regarding inquiry-based learning for VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Dampal Selatan.The research results show that 1) The inquiry-based learning approach in improving understanding of Civics lessons forclass VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Dampal Selatan was carried out in 3 (three) cycles with no significant obstacles, 2)The inquiry-based learning approach can improve the understanding of class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 SouthDampal has experienced an increase, 3) An inquiry-based learning approach can increase the creativity of class VIIstudents at SMP Negeri 2 Dampal Selatan, 4) Student responses to the inquiry-based learning approach inunderstanding class VII Civics subject matter at SMP Negeri 2 Dampal Selatan students are positive.
