Abstract

This research aims to find out the implementation of the Islamic Left movement in Pesantren education in Indonesia, in order to develop scientific knowledge and to restore the treasures of Islam. This research uses a leatherative method of literature review or literature review with narrative analysis obtained from various sources of books or research journals that are in accordance with the research domain. Pesantren as an example of Islamic education in Indonesia. Pesantren education has a long history, has a culture that prioritizes Islamic values, the education methods applied, and as a medium for da'wah. Pesantren in this modern era is not only focused on cultural education, but also penetrates into science, technology, and economic education. The progress of Pesantren today is in accordance with the vision of leftist Islam Hasan Hanafi who prioritizes scientific renewal which is not only focused on traditional science studies but also examines the science that exists in Indonesia and continues to run formal education provided by the government or the Pesantren itself. Currently, Muslims are experiencing a setback in science and technology where Muslims only enjoy technological products made by Western society. This certainly provides a challenge to Pesantren in this modern era while still prioritizing eastern culture. The need for the implementation of the Islamic Left in education in Pesantren with the presence of education related to IT or science that harmonizes with the Qur'an to develop the curriculum, so that it can enrich the Islamic treasures.

Abstract

An educational institution is an institution that is specifically established to facilitate the teaching and learning process. Each educational institution has its own goals in developing education, which are contained in the vision, mission and objectives of an institution. To achieve this goal, rules or norms are needed. This research aims to provide knowledge about the management of group norms in achieving institutional goals in madrasas/schools. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with the type of field research. A norm is a benchmark or tool to measure a set of perspectives and human activities. Group norms are rules or guidelines of behavior that are mutually agreed upon by group members to regulate their interactions and activities. In the context of education, group norms are essential to create a conducive learning environment and achieve institutional goals. Some of the norms applied in educational institutions are religious norms, social norms, and academic norms.

Abstract

The re-implementation of the rector's decision for KIP Kuliah scholarship students to live in Ma'had al-Jami'ah has provided the latest findings that not all scholarship students are good at reading the Qur'an, this is one of the real evidences that there are still many UIN Raden Intan Lampung students who still cannot read the Qur'an, and has caused changes in the process of implementing the yanbu'a method at Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the yanbu'a method at Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung in improving the ability to read the Qur'an of students, especially KIP Kuliah scholarship students who are required to live in Ma'had al-Jami'ah. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a type of field research, and data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The findings of this study are that the yanbu'a method is able to provide significant changes in improving the ability to read the Qur'an of students who do not come from Islamic boarding schools and whose initial Qur'an reading scores are quite low. Based on the results of interviews with students and also the mu’alim/ah who teach halaqoh, there are supporting and inhibiting factors in learning the Qur’an using the yanbu’a method. The curriculum at Ma’had al-Jami’ah includes various academic and extracurricular activities that aim to develop students’ skills both academically and morally. The application of the yanbu’a method at Ma’had al-Jami’ah has achieved its goal of improving students’ ability to read the Qur’an.

Abstract

This research in-depth analyzes the role and function of Islamic educational philosophy in shaping the scientific structure at the Amanatul Ummah Ponorogo Student Islamic Boarding School in the context of modernization challenges. By focusing on Islamic values, this research examines how Islamic boarding schools attempt to integrate traditional values ​​with the increasingly complex demands of the times, especially in facing globalization and developments in information technology. This research will identify the strategies implemented by Islamic boarding schools in maintaining the relevance of Islamic values, such as curriculum adaptation, use of technology in learning, and development of innovative learning models. Apart from that, this research will also discuss the challenges faced by Islamic boarding schools in dealing with value pluralism, radicalism and the current of secularism. Through in-depth analysis of the curriculum, learning methods, extracurricular activities, and in-depth interviews with kyai, teachers and students, this research aims to provide recommendations for Islamic boarding schools in developing educational models that are capable of producing graduates who not only master science, but also have good character. who is strong and adheres to Islamic values. This research will answer two main questions: (1) What is the role of educational philosophy in shaping the scientific structure at the Amanatul Ummah Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School? and (2) What is the function of educational philosophy in the educational context of the Islamic boarding school? It is hoped that the results of this research can make a significant contribution in understanding more deeply the role of educational philosophy in the context of modern Islamic boarding school education, as well as providing recommendations for developing Islamic boarding school education that is more relevant to the challenges of the times.

Abstract

This journal aims to examine the harmonization of modern values without destroying the essence of religious teachings. The concept of religious moderation is the main foundation that must be applied in a pluralistic society. In the context of pluralistic Indonesia, religious moderation is expected to be a solution to radicalization conflicts and interreligious or interfaith intolerance. Gus Dur prioritized the importance of pluralism, tolerance, and dialogue as a way to build harmonious relations between religious communities. The method used in this research is a literature study, which analyzes various sources related to religious moderation. The results of the study show that religious moderation is not only important to create social harmony, but also as a strategy to maintain the integrity of the nation in facing the challenges of globalization and extremism. Thus, religious moderation could be the foundation for creating a peaceful and prosperous society, where tradition and modernity can co-exist.

Abstract

Pesantren in Indonesia is not merely a place for religious education but also a center for character formation based on Islamic spirits such as sincerity, simplicity, independence, Islamic brotherhood, and freedom. These five pillars of philosophical soul then internalize into the connection of three principal structure; kiai, santri and masjid. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using literature review to examine the principles of pesantren life and how these principles contribute to the formation of the character of santri and the ideal Islamic society. After working this research, researcher can conclude that five pillars have significant role to form noble sosial life in pesantren. Sincerity serves as the foundation for harmonious relationships between the kiai and santri, fostering strong morality. Simplicity teaches santri to live in balance, fostering solidarity and sosial responsibility. Independence in pesantren prepares santri to manage their lives and contribute to the sustainability of the pesantren. Islamic brotherhood unites santri from diverse backgrounds, shaping them into agents of unity for the ummah. Pesantren also teaches freedom based on Islamic values, including freedom from physical and mental colonialism, while providing space for santri to plan their futures.

Abstract

This research aims (1) to analyze how the maqashid syariah li al nisaa' approach can be used as a method for interpreting texts in efforts to protect women's educational rights and (2) find out the concept of gender-equitable Islamic education based on maqashid syariah li al nisaa with Trilogy KUPI approach.  This research use literature review and the content analysis was used for the data analysis. The findings of this study are: (1) The maqashid syariah li al nisaa' approach as a method for interpreting texts to protect women's educational rights involves starting with the text, then applying it to the context, with the maqashid syariah being read through a gender perspective. (2) the concept of gender-equity Islamic education based on maqashid sharia li al nisaa with the KUPI trilogy approach, namely the concept of mubadalah in Islamic educational leadership, the concept of true justice in the accessibility of Islamic education and the concept of ma'ruf in eliminating violence against women in the process of Islamic education. Novelty in this study is the concept of gender-equitable Islamic education based on maqashid sharia li al nisaa in the perspectif of ma'ruf, mubadalah and true justice.

Abstract

This study examines the enhancement of Human Resource Management (HRM) design at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA). A case study was conducted at MDTA Al-Hidayah Srimulyo Dampit, where several HRM-related issues were identified, including the low frequency and effectiveness of meetings, the absence of a clear and fair salary system, a decline in student enrollment, a lack of teacher discipline and motivation, and limited parental involvement. The research employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach to facilitate the restructuring of the HRM system at MDTA Al-Hidayah. The findings indicate efforts toward transforming the HRM design, particularly in managerial functions (planning, organizing, directing, and controlling), compensation budgeting, and the integration of human resources through improved communication and collaboration. This study is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic education management knowledge, particularly in the context of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah, and to offer a practical model for improving HRM in non-formal Islamic educational institutions. Abstract

Education in the modern era faces major challenges in developing students understanding and creativity amidst limited resources and time. One potential solution that can improve the quality of learning is the mindmapping method, which is known to help students organize ideas and information visually, thereby improving their understanding and creativity. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using mindmapping in learning, with a focus on its influence on students' understanding of the material and creativity. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with library research, where data is obtained from journal articles, books, and other relevant sources that discuss mindmapping in the context of education. The results of the discussion show that mindmapping has proven effective in facilitating students' understanding of the concepts taught and stimulating their creativity in solving problems. By using visualization techniques, students can connect various ideas and information that were previously separate. The conclusion of this study confirms that mindmapping is an effective method for improving students' understanding and creativity, and can be applied in various learning contexts to support students' cognitive and creative development. This study also provides recommendations for educators to integrate mindmapping into their teaching methods.

Abstract

Educational institutions teach their students about the values ​​of independence, which can shape their personality in being independent, so that it is in accordance with one of the goals of Indonesian education, namely to become independent people. And another thing is when educational institutions teach how to maintain financial resilience in educational institutions. This research aims to describe the implementation of financial independence and resilience at LPI Darul Hikam Tampojung Tenggina. The method in this research uses qualitative research methods using a descriptive approach. It also involves data collection procedures by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research can be seen from various levels of independence and financial resilience as proven by opening business units. On the other hand, there is also an evaluation related to independence and resilience.
