Abstract

The increasing adoption of QRIS payment in Indonesia has transformed consumer transaction behavior, particularly in culinary micro, small, and medium enterprises. However, understanding the factors that encourage consumers to reuse QRIS payment remains important, as repeated usage is not only determined by technological adoption but also by user satisfaction. This study aims to examine the effect of perceived ease of use and perceived security on repurchase intention, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable in QRIS payment usage. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through an online questionnaire from 158 QRIS users who had conducted transactions at culinary MSMEs in Samarinda City. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling through SmartPLS. The results show that perceived ease of use and perceived security significantly affect customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction also significantly influences repurchase intention. In addition, perceived ease of use has a significant direct effect on repurchase intention, while perceived security does not directly affect repurchase intention. The mediation analysis shows that customer satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between perceived ease of use and repurchase intention and fully mediates the relationship between perceived security and repurchase intention. These findings highlight the importance of ease, security, and satisfaction in encouraging repeated QRIS usage and provide practical implications for culinary MSMEs and digital payment providers.

Abstract

This research  analyzes the pilgrimage motives at the Loang Baloq cemetery in Mataram City, examined through the perspective of Auguste Comte's Law of Three Stages. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the theological, metaphysical, and positivist motives behind the Loang Baloq cemetery pilgrimage. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was employed in this study. It involved passive observation, conducted by the researcher being directly present at the Loang Baloq cemetery without participating in the pilgrims' activities. Secondly, in-depth interviews were conducted with 19 research subjects who were pilgrims, and 4 informants who were the administrators of the Loang Baloq cemetery. Thirdly, documentation was carried out on the activities and rituals performed by the pilgrims during their visits. The results of this study indicate that the ritual practices of pilgrimage at the Loang Baloq Cemetery in Mataram City are not singular; instead, they move dynamically across Auguste Comte's three stages of intellectual development. The Theological Stage manifests through the remnants of fetishism practices (such as using blessed water and tying tree roots as mediums) intermingling with the monotheistic belief in Allah SWT. The Metaphysical Stage is present through adherence to ancestral traditions as well as abstract conceptualizations of the cemetery's aura, positive energy, and blessing substance. Meanwhile, the Positivism Stage manifests through the desacralization of rituals, where the pilgrimage is rationally interpreted as a space for historical education, cultural preservation, reflection on mortality, and recreation.

Abstract

This study analyzes gender roles in flood mitigation in West Kalimantan using sociobiological lenses, structural-functional theory, and the concept of social equilibrium. The aim of the study is to understand how men's and women's roles are shaped through biological and social adaptations, and how gender interactions contribute to social coordination, community resilience, and post-disaster recovery. A qualitative case study approach was applied with purposive sampling of participants including affected women, community leaders, and local officials. Data collection was conducted through field observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, while data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, encompassing condensation, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that gender-based ecological adaptation is flexible and collective, with men handling physical labor and women managing domestic logistics and family health, while cross-gender participation strengthens community solidarity and coordination. Post-flood recovery mechanisms through mutual cooperation and collective participation reflect the principle of social equilibrium, where functional balance between individuals, families, and communities is maintained. The structural-functional approach explains the complementary division of roles, while the sociobiological perspective highlights the adaptive basis of gender behavior. This research confirms that effective flood mitigation requires the integration of local practices, gender-based strategies, and adaptive social coordination to achieve sustainable community resilience. These findings contribute to the development of inclusive, equitable, and community-based disaster mitigation policies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the waste management policy implemented by PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk Gedangan and analyze its implementation from an ecocentric perspective. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies related to industrial waste management and ecocentric theory. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk Gedangan has implemented a waste management policy through waste sorting, processing, monitoring, and controlling activities to minimize the impact of environmental pollution. Waste management is carried out for solid, liquid, and domestic waste in accordance with established company procedures. From an ecocentric perspective, this policy reflects the company's concern for environmental sustainability through efforts to maintain ecosystem balance, reduce pollution, and minimize the negative impacts of industrial activities on the surrounding environment. However, its implementation still faces several obstacles, including limited inorganic waste sorting equipment and high maintenance costs for waste treatment plants. These obstacles have the potential to affect the effectiveness of waste management if not handled optimally. Therefore, improvements to facilities and infrastructure and strengthened oversight are needed to support more effective and sustainable waste management. Overall, the company's waste management policies have supported environmental conservation efforts in accordance with the principles of ecocentrism.

Abstract

This study analyzes Syria's diplomatic navigation strategy after the collapse of the Bashar al-Assad regime in December 2024 through the perspective of Islamic political ethics, specifically the concept of Ar-Rasikhun, with a focus on the foreign policy maneuvers of the transitional government under the leadership of Ahmed al-Sharaa in establishing pragmatic relations with Russia. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods and normative analysis sourced from academic journals, policy documents, reports of international institutions, and official statements of the Syrian transitional government. The analysis was carried out using three main indicators of the concept of Ar-Rasikhun, namely the depth of wisdom in diplomacy, universal justice (al-'adl), and strategic tolerance (tasamuh). The results show that Ahmed al-Sharaa's leadership represents the implementation of Ar-Rasikhun's values through a policy of pragmatic diplomacy towards Russia, the building of domestic legitimacy based on inclusivity, and multi-directional diplomacy with regional and global actors to maintain national stability and accelerate the reconstruction of the country. These findings confirm that Islamic political ethics can function not only as a normative framework, but also as a practical instrument in national reconciliation and conflict transformation. This study concludes that the concept of Ar-Rasikhun is relevant as an alternative perspective in contemporary international relations studies to explain the transformation of conflict towards sustainable peace in post-conflict Syria.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the President Prabowo Subianto's speech at the inauguration of the Marsinah Museum in Nganjuk, delivered amid a macroeconomic crisis marked by the extreme depreciation of the rupiah exchange rate. This study aims to dismantle the latent meanings, internal contradictions, and linguistic strategies used by the president to construct a dichotomy between the elite and the people, as well as to manage the unrest among the working-class public. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach grounded in the critical paradigm, applying the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) framework through the Discourse-Historical Approach (DHA) developed by Ruth Wodak. The primary data consists of the verbatim transcript of the presidential speech on May 16th, 2026, collected through documentation and note-taking techniques. The findings reveal an acute irony and fatal self-contradiction within the president's discourse structure. Through nomination and predication strategies, a binary opposition is constructed, positioning the president outside the power circle (as a protector of the poor) while simultaneously practicing institutional blame avoidance by shifting systemic failures onto lower apparatuses. Through argumentation strategies, the topos of history, topos of threat, and topos of benevolence are exploited to rationalize domestic economic failures as purely the impact of international pressure. Lastly, the extreme mitigation strategy in the rhetorical claim that “rural people do not use dollars” is identified as a form of discursive disinformation that negates the real impact of the crisis on the real sector to perpetuate the subordination of marginal classes and maintain absolute government hegemony.

Abstract

This study analyzes the reconstruction of political identity in Hit Me Anyone One More Time (2019) using Roland Barthes's two-level signification system and Erving Goffman's dramaturgical perspective as theoretical triangulation. Departing from traditional political film semiotics focused on electoral campaigns, this research examines the reshaping of political identity within a post-election bureaucratic environment. A qualitative constructivist approach is applied through non-participant observation and film scene documentation. Data are analyzed by mapping denotative meanings, interpreting connotations, and identifying myths to trace how political identity is represented and interpreted. The findings reveal that political identity reconstruction is represented as a gradual process; originating from daily behavioral changes, developing through repeated social interactions, and gaining legitimacy via public recognition. Kuroda's new identity is built on a more humanistic, accessible, and responsive attitude, reshaping public perception of his leadership. The front-stage and back-stage dynamics serve as the primary mechanism linking personal change to public acceptance. Concurrently, the film reproduces myths concerning the naturalness of bureaucratic elitism, leader centralization, executive supremacy, and fact manipulation to maintain governmental stability. These findings indicate that political identity is a continuous construction shaped by actions, social relations, and public interpretation. Theoretically, this study extends political semiotics by analyzing identity reconstruction once an actor is embedded in power structures. Practically, it fosters critical media literacy regarding the representation of state figures in popular media.

Abstract

Historically, cohabitation in Indonesia has been highly taboo, deeply intertwined with theological values and social norms. However, the rise of digital spaces has shifted private boundaries into the public sphere, triggering significant value negotiations. This study examines these moral negotiations by analyzing netizen comments on cohabitation following influencer Vito Sinaga’s appearance on the @CurhatBangDenny Sumargo podcast. Using virtual ethnography and Foucauldian critical discourse analysis, the research explores how digital interactions function as discursive practices that shape netizen subjectivity. The analysis focuses on mechanisms of 'digital surveillance' and 'moral courts' used to discipline behavior deemed deviant. Findings indicate that while traditional moral rejection remains dominant, new rationalizations have emerged, viewing cohabitation as a pragmatic 'trial and error' phase before marriage. This research contributes to understanding digital spaces as arenas of contestation between social conservatism and contemporary lifestyles. Ultimately, the comments section serves as a venue for 'moral judgment' where taboo boundaries are tested. The study concludes that while traditional hegemony remains strong, digital spaces create openings for counter-discourses that challenge the existing sociocultural construction of morality in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article examines how choreographic time changes when dance is transferred from the stage to film. The discussion is grounded in the talk and workshop From Stage to Screen: Examining the Cinematic Body, held during the 28th anniversary of Institut Media Digital Emtek, and focuses on the choreographic process of Japati Kembang Kota in Shutter. Using a qualitative case-study approach, the research draws on textual readings of workshop discourse, rehearsal accounts, shooting practices, editing procedures, and limited visual observation of two choreographic sequences. The analytical framework combines film time, screendance, the cinematic body, and editing rhythm. The findings indicate that bringing dance to the screen does not merely record movement; it reorganizes duration, expressive intensity, spatial relations, and narrative function. Real time remains as embodied memory produced through rehearsal, while film time reshapes movement through shot fragmentation, repeated takes, compressed duration, and editing rhythm. The cinematic body is therefore understood as a negotiated formation between bodily continuity and audiovisual construction.
