Jurnal Pembelajaran, Bimbingan, dan Pengelolaan Pendidikan literally means “Journal of Learning, Guidance, and Educational Management”. The use of the Indonesian language in the title reflects the journal’s strong contextual grounding in Indonesian education while also emphasizing its broader commitment to addressing educational issues across diverse cultural, institutional, and system-level settings. The title represents three interconnected domains: learning as the core process of education, guidance as the support system for learner development and well-being, and educational management as the foundation for effective leadership, governance, and sustainable institutional improvement. Although rooted in the Indonesian educational context, the journal has a multidisciplinary and internationally relevant scope, welcoming empirical, theoretical, and practice-oriented studies in education, guidance and counseling, educational psychology, curriculum and instruction, assessment, educational leadership, policy, educational technology, inclusive education, and human development.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase motivation and learning outcomes by using Jengamedia in teams’ games tournament (TGT) learning model. Students are lessenthusiastic about social studies because teachers’ learning is still traditional andmonotonous. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Theresearch results showed that the data obtained from the learning motivationquestionnaire was at a sufficient level with an average score of 60.8 percent before theaction. Motivation to learn increased with an average score of 89.7percent in the highcategory. Meanwhile, for learning outcomes, the average pretest score was 63.8and increased to 79.1 afterthe action was given. This also proves that the use ofJenga media in the TGT model can also increase the motivation and learningoutcomes of class 7H students at SMPN 4 Kota Malang.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sebagai entitas dan identitas bangsa Indonesia, Pancasila mempunyai perananyang sangat penting. Entitas dan identitas ini berpengaruh terhadap jati diri dan cirikhas maupun keunikan dari bangsa Indonesia. Sekarang zamannya arus global yangsemakin pesat, ideology Pancasila dikhawatirkan dapat tergeser dan tidak dapatdiwariskan ke generasi selanjutnya. Oleh karena itu, pelestarian ini sudah menjaditugas dan tanggungjawab bersama. Salah satu pelestarian Pancasila dilakukandengan merancang pembelajaran yang berbasis Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada prosespembelajaran di sekolah. Terdiri dari enam aspek dari Profil Pelajar Pancasila yakni;1) Beriman, bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berakhak mulia; 2)Berkebinekaan global; 3) Mandiri; 4) Pemikiran kritis; 5) Kreatif; 6) Bergotongroyong. Permaslahaan dan peneilitian ini dikaji dengan kajian kepustakaan sertamelalui observasi di SMP Negeri 1 Dau Kabupaten Malang. Hasilnya melibatkanProfil Siswa Pancasila ke dalam proses pendidikan di sekolah, ideologi dan nilai-nilailuhur Pancasila secara keseluruhan serta jati diri bangsa Indonesia dapatdiupayakan. Dengan menggunakan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, pelajar dapat menjadisumber daya manusia, tumbuh menjadi warga negara yang demokratis, dan belajarbekerja sama secara unggul di Abad ke-21.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the application of the scaffolding method to improvestudents' skills in arts and culture learning for class VII B SMPN 4 Malang. Apart fromthat, it also analyzes the relationship between the application of scaffolding and thestudents' advanced abilities and need for guidance. This research uses a qualitativeapproach. The methods used to compile this article are literacy studies and fieldobservations. Literacy studies are carried out by analyzing detailed informationfrom several literacy and documentation sources. Field observations were carriedout by observing in depth the application of scaffolding in arts and culture learningat SMPN 4 Malang over a certain period of time. The application of scaffolding iscarried out optimally by providing assistance and guidance in demonstratingtechniques and processes in developing combinations and gradations in design toless advanced students. Apart from that, for advanced students, teachers becomefacilitators for advanced students by providing opportunities to become mentorsfor less advanced students. This scaffolding method provides maximumachievement in improving students' skills and abilities and providing meaningfulexperiences

Abstract

Waste poses a significant environmental threat, leading to the spread of diseases, water pollution, flooding, unpleasant odors, and general discomfort. Despite its negative impacts, waste holds immense economic potential. Recycling can transform waste into valuable resources, boosting the economy. This study analyzes the waste recycling creativity program at SMPN 7 Malang, examining its effectiveness in enhancing students' entrepreneurship skills and supporting the realization of the Adiwiyata School Environment. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal the successful implementation of the waste recycling creativity program at SMPN 7 Malang, demonstrating its positive impact on students' entrepreneurship skills. Students are trained to transform waste into marketable products, such as bags, pencil cases, wall decorations, and more. Additionally, the program contributes to the realization of the Adiwiyata School Environment by reducing waste in the school premises and students' neighborhoods.

Abstract

Sexual harassment against junior high school students is a serious issue that can impact their mental, emotional, and academic well-being. This research aims to explore the challenges in addressing sexual harassment in junior high schools and the counseling strategies that can be used to address this issue. Several solutions have been implemented, such as training for teachers and counselors, strengthening school policies, and empowering students to report harassment cases. However, the success of implementing these solutions is hindered by a lack of resources and interagency coordination. This study uses a qualitative approach with a focus on case studies to deeply understand cases of sexual harassment in junior high schools. Data were collected through observations, documentation, and interviews with students, teachers, counselors, and parents. The results indicate various forms of harassment, student responses, the role of guidance counselors, risk factors, and psychological impacts. From the findings of this research, it can be concluded that counseling approaches have a positive impact on helping sexual harassment victims by providing a safe space, emotional support, coping strategies, and assistance in reporting to authorities. Recommendations include strengthening the role of guidance counselors, comprehensive sexual education, enhancing supervision and school culture, and fostering collaboration with parents. It is hoped that this research will make a significant contribution to protecting the well-being of junior high school students and strengthening the role of counseling in schools.

Abstract

The quality of learning needs to be improved continuously to optimize the development of learners' skills, knowledge, and attitudes. One effective method is using concrete media to help teachers facilitate learning. Concrete media was used to teach medicinal plant material in class VB. The learning process followed the lesson study flow, consisting of the plan, do & see, and reflection stages. Learning was conducted in two cycles. The first cycle discussed medicinal plants from rhizomes, including ginger, turmeric, kencur, galangal, ginseng, and temulawak. The second cycle covered medicinal plants from leaves, such as bay leaves, lemongrass, guava leaves, cat whisker leaves, basil leaves, betel leaves, celery, kenikir, aloe vera, cinnamon, and pandan leaves. As a result, students' learning motivation increased from 50% before using concrete objects to an average of 80%. Knowledge learning outcomes also improved, rising from an average of 54% to 78%. Additionally, learners' curiosity developed, as evidenced by the variety of questions that arose from students during the learning process. Thus, it can be concluded that using concrete media to teach medicinal plant material can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Percobaan 1.

Abstract

This article is motivated by the importance of students' reading literacy skills, which can be enhanced through TPACK-based learning. The research aims to explore students' perceptions of pedagogical technology-based learning containing knowledge to improve reading literacy. This study focused on upper-class students, specifically in class IV, with 27 students participating as respondents. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Techniques include questionnaires and document studies, while data analysis involves a literature review. The results reveal that 85.18% of students favor TPACK-based learning content, and 88.88% of students demonstrate comprehension of learning material presented using the TPACK approach. Thus, this research underscores the effectiveness of the TPACK approach in enhancing students' reading literacy skills.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to provide a comprehensive review of integrated lesson planning with a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach at SMP Negeri 4 Malang and SMP Laboratorium UM. This study employs a descriptive-comparative approach to compare lesson planning strategies between the two schools, focusing on how the planning considers the needs and characteristics of the students. Data were collected through classroom observations, tests, interviews with teachers, and reviews of lesson planning documents. In-depth analysis of the data reveals differences and similarities in the implementation of CRT at each school, as well as its implications for enhancing the success of learning relevant to the students' cultural contexts.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is an educational policy that is currently being implemented. The independent curriculum in its implementation refers to the concept of liberating students. The independent curriculum is a program policy in the education sector that emphasizes giving freedom to schools to innovate in designing learning according to the needs and characteristics of students. Freedom to learn, character education, and differentiated learning are among the innovations in implementing the independent curriculum. Ki Hajar Dewantara's concept of thought is the basis for determining the education system in Indonesia. The background of this research is to review the literature to determine the relevance of implementing the independent curriculum with the thought concept of Ki Hajar Dewantara. The type of research used in this research is the literature study research method. The object of this research is an article regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum and its relevance to Ki Hajar Dewantara's thought concept. The results of the analysis show that there is relevance in implementing the independent curriculum with the concept of Ki Hajar Dewantara's thinking, such as the relevance of differentiated learning with the pedagogical vision put forward by Ki Hajar Dewantara in realizing Freedom of Learning. Apart from that, its relevance lies in the character of education which aims to view education not only as an educational initiative but also as a social system, which is in line with Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational philosophy in Taman Siswa.

Abstract

This study investigates collaborative efforts among Scout leaders, teachers, and school authorities in integrating religious values through Scouting activities at SDIT Al-Mumtaz and SD Al-Azhar 21 Pontianak. Using a multi-case study approach, the research examines the collaboration dynamics and its impact on religious character integration. Findings reveal strong collaboration in both schools, emphasizing teacher involvement, program design, and administrative support. Scouting activities, integrated intracurricularly, effectively promote religious values, highlighting the vital role of collaboration in holistic education.
