Abstract

Food security is closely related to health, one aspect of well-being and the main focus of human development. Efforts to avoid food insecurity are experienced in areas with natural conditions and relatively little rainfall, such as the Nusa Tenggara Timur Province, especially in the Malaka Regency, the border area of Indonesia-Timor Leste. This community service activity aims to deepen understanding of Malaka Regency has food security by looking at the Malaka Agricultural Revolution Program (RPM), the policy to increase community economic productivity. We are writing this activity with a descriptive method using a simple qualitative approach. Data sources come from various literature and discussions with the government (Bupati) and the people of Malaka Regency. The RPM program positively impacts agronomic performance (rice, corn, and shallots) so that it can increase productivity, agricultural production, income and community welfare. However, there are still factors that hinder the implementation of the RPM Program, including internal factors (knowledge, skills and attitudes of farmers in dealing with changes brought about by the RPM program) and external factors (climate, availability of fertilizers, technology, etc).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide insight and knowledge about the role of the Pangi Village government in helping communities affected by the Covid 19 pandemic and knowing the distribution channels of Village Fund Cash Direct Aid (BLT-Dana Desa), as well as knowing the impact felt by the beneficiary community. The target of this activity is the people of Pangi Village, Suwawa Timur District, Bone Bolango Regency, which consists of 3 hamlets with a population of 780 people and the number of aid recipients as many as 84 families. The results of this study found that the Pangi Village government had carried out the stages in distributing aid to the community correctly and on target, even though it had not been able to meet all their needs, but the people of Pangi Village were greatly helped by the existence of BLT-Daba Desa, besides that, they were increasingly aware about the dangers of Covid-19 and knowing how to prevent it.

Abstract

The existence of the Covid-19 Pandemic which forced the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restriction (PSBB) policy was a shock effect for all of us. each through online learning. However, with this change, there are not a few obstacles, ranging from difficulties in getting an internet network to declining student interest in learning. It was from this that KKN-PPL UNM created a work program called Rumah Belajar which facilitates students, especially students of SMP Negeri 1 Pallanggga, to study together in a more interesting way and pay attention to health protocols. The methods of activities carried out in this program are: (1) Planning/preparation, (2) Observation, (3) Implementation, and (4) Evaluation. The results of the implementation of the Learning House program are very significant. Students' interest in learning increases so that they are more active in learning. This can be seen because several KKN-PPL UNM students in the Mangalli sub-district teach at SMPN 1 Pallangga, which is a learning house participating school.

Abstract

In the era of the development of science and technology as well as the high level of competition in the business world is a challenge that must be faced by all parties, especially in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In Wonodadi village, the majority are Javanese and are Muslim who have SMEs in opaque businesses made from cassava. These MSME actors have only used their financial records manually so that there are often significant errors in terms of finances. Based on these problems, we do service with the aim of providing an understanding of recording transactions using applications and how to use them, as well as providing information , explains how to develop Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises using the Strawberry Cashier Application. and Helping and teaching people who have MSMEs to create accounts in the strawberry cashier application and how to input financial income and expenses. The method that we do is starting with socialization by introducing and explaining the use of digital-based transaction recording, namely the Strawberry Cashier Application to MSME actors and assisting MSME actors in creating accounts in the strawberry cashier application and helping input MSME Financial transactions in the application. directly to SMEs). Abstract

Samosir Regency has potential in developing creative handicraft industries such as ulos weaving, woven pandanus, water hyacinth, carving, stone carving, pottery, bamboo crafts, screen printing, and Samosir specialties such as rondam beans and kopis losung. These handicraft products are local cultural wisdom and have high cultural values. Marketing through social media such as Instagram and the internet can help souvenir businesses in Pindaraya village to reach a wider market and even abroad. The purpose of this activity is to motivate Samosir souvenir business actors to use social media and the internet as a medium to promote their products and preserve Samosir's local culture to a wider market. The result of this activity is that the enthusiasm of the Samosir souvenir business is very high and has a commitment to using their Instagram social media as a marketing promotion tool. More use of the internet to look for marketing opportunities that they have not recognized and used. Instagram is one of the social media that is currently very much in demand by the people of Indonesia.

Abstract

Development must be carried out in every nation. Change from bad to better is development. There is a close relationship between development and the surrounding environment. Development affects the environment and is influenced by the environment. Development will be successful if the environment is maintained, such as not littering, not cutting down trees, planting trees, and sorting waste. Environmental sustainability can only be achieved through environmental protection. As development actors, the environment that is not maintained and cared for will be damaged and can result in various disasters such as floods, erosion, and other threats to human life. Likewise, when the rainy season begins in Bandar Lampung City, floods occur everywhere. This is because there are still many people who do not know how important it is to protect the environment. One example is throwing garbage in the river so that it clogs the flow of the river and garbage is thrown away in the wrong place. With this community service, it is hoped that the community will be more aware of the need to protect the environment by not littering, not cutting down trees, and sorting waste

Abstract

The orphanage is a social institution that aims to shape the development of children, such as orphans, orphans, orphans, abandoned children.  Children will feel safe, receive support, attention if they feel their presence is accepted by all parties.  However, in reality these expectations are difficult to achieve due to lack of attention from caregivers, facilities, unable to form warm relationships with other people.  Through service activities, students do service to the children of the Al-Washliyah Orphanage, Kec.  Binjai City, Binjai.  Beginning with institutional observations.  There were several problems with children, such as frequent fights, bullying, harsh words to others, and lack of hygiene.  The intervention method used in this service is the Mezzo Intervention by Zastrow consisting of: Intake/Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, and Termination.  The results of the service are able to foster good character behavior through sharing session programs, self-introspection letters, learning groups, socializing the impact of bullying, making rules, sanctions.  The implications of this service activity are able to contribute to forming a good personality, attitude, tolerance for orphans.

Abstract

The tourism industry is currently growing rapidly. The tourism village program, which is currently being promoted by the government, encourages young people who are members of youth organizations to be able to promote tourist attractions in their villages. In a tourism village program, ideally young people among village cadets serve as guides, guides and even determine the success of this program. Youth in Karang taruna need to have basic English for Tourism in order to be able to describe and promote the tourism of the village to tourists who visit later. However, the facts found in the field that there are still many  Karang  taruna members who are unable to communicate  English. They are not at all familiar with English. Based on that phenomenon, this activity aims to  help  introducing and maximizing  basic English learning for Karang Taruna  members in the Sintoga District, Padang Pariaman. The target to be achieved is that the Karang Taruna members of the youth group understand the basics of English and can properly promote tourist attractions in their village. The method used in this community service is a communicative approach method, by training Karang Taruna members to be able to communicate in English contextually. The results of this training show that  the enthusiasm of the Karang Taruna members  to learn and improve their English skills. Their responds are  positive.Next,  it is hoped that this program can be continued regularly in the future

Abstract

Arabic language program management has been widely applied to formal education in Indonesia, however, there are differences and similarities in program management in actuating between one formal institution and another. For this reason, the objectives of this study are to describe the differences in Arabic language program management; to describe the similarities of Arabic language program management; to analyze Arabic language program management at in terms of actuating (objectives, approaches and strategies, methods, materials and learning resources, as well as class division). This research uses library research with descriptive method. The results of this study are the similarities of formal educational institutions, namely in the objectives, although there are innovations from the institutions themselves, methods, and class divisions; the differences are in the methods, materials, and approaches and strategies used; the objectives namely: GBPP there are also those who adopt from other institutions, approaches and strategies using teacher-centred only and on teachers and students, methods mostly use the tarjamah grammatical, reading, memorization, and others, on learning materials and resources using books which was printed by the founder and based on Arabic subjects, and the class division was only two divisions (the ula class and the wustho class).

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 outbreak, many learning activities have been carried out online. Learning uses online media, exam questions can be made using technology that utilizes the internet as a medium, such as using the Google Form application. Besides that, Google Forum has a feature that is easy to use for uploading and downloading questions and answers. This community service is carried out with the aim of adding insight and increasing technological skills to educators and education staff in utilizing the Google form to make questions. The methods used in community service activities are lectures, demonstrations and questions and answers. The conclusions that can be drawn from this training activity are 1) it can increase the knowledge and insight of teachers and employees in understanding the Google form application as a medium for making questions. 2) Improve skills in applying google form media. 3) Increasing the ability of educators and educational staff in carrying out learning activities and using the Google Form application to help smooth learning activities in schools.
