Abstract

The lack of students’ understanding of the basis of the state, namely Pancasila, is the main point of this research. Add more with the teacher’s limitations in utilizing learning media that makes students get bored easily. The research objective was to produce SETELA Power Point-based learning and test the feasibility of media when applied to Civics learning in Pancasila material theme 5 of fourth-grade. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The sample used 16 students of fourth-grade MIM Karanglo. A questionnaire data collection technique was employed for the descriptive qualitative data analysis, and validators included media and subject matter experts, classroom teachers, and fourth-grade children. With a proportion of 81.9% and 95.3%, validation by media experts and material experts very valid criteria. When the media used in schools, it results in class instructors and 16 fourth-grade students’ approval with extremely good criteria with a percentage of 88.6% and 95.3%. The whole validation yields an average percentage of 89.4% with very good criteria. It can be said that SETELA learning materials are suitable for teaching civics in fourth-grade primary school Pancasila theme content. Because it contains brief, understandable content and offers engaging games even with basic media, particularly Power Point, the implications of this media in the future can be a teacher’s tool in using interactive instructional media to deepen Pancasila material for fourth-grade elementary school students. Kurangnya pemahaman siswa akan dasar negara yakni pancasila menjadi poin utama penelitian ini. Ditambah dengan keterbatasan guru dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran menjadikan siswa lebih cepat bosan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran SETELA berbasis Power Point dan menguji kelayakan media saat diterapkan pada pembelajaran PPKn dalam materi pancasila tema 5 kelas 4 SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 16 siswa kelas 4 MIM Karanglo. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data angket atau kuisioner yang terdiri dari instrumen pengumpulan validasi yang berasal dari validator (ahli media dan ahli materi), guru kelas, dan siswa kelas 4. Validasi dari ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan kriteria sangat valid dengan presentase 81,9% dan 95.3%. Saat media diterapkan di sekolah dihasilkan validasi dari guru kelas dan 16 siswa kelas 4  dengan kriteria sangat baik yakni dengan presentase 88,6% dan 91.7%. Adapun hasil rata-rata validasi keseluruhan menghasilkan presentase 89,4% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran SETELA layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran PPKn kelas 4 SD tema 5 materi pancasila. Implikasi media ini kedepannya dapat menjadi alat bantu guru dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran interaktif untuk pendalaman materi pancasila siswa kelas 4 SD karena dilengkapi dengan materi yang ringkas dan jelas serta dengan penyajian permainan yang menarik walaupun dengan media sederhana khususnya power point.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in poetry writing skills for students needs to be explored properly and correctly because this skill does not come by itself, regular and programmed practice is needed, so that the writing process becomes more directed and students are able to find ideas or ideas for writing poetry. One of the learning strategies that can be used in writing poetry for elementary school students is a differentiated learning strategy. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of differentiated learning strategies in improving students' poetry writing skills in elementary schools. The method used in this research is quasi-experiment, with a one-group pretest-posttest design or before-after design. The data collection technique used was formative assessment for the learning process (assessment for learning) in the form of observation notes. The observation instrument used was a rubric for the performance of poetry writing skills. The population in this study were students of grades VA and VB of SDN Sangkali, Citeureup District, Bogor Regency. The research sample used a random purpose technique which amounted to 30 students consisting of 15 male students and 15 female students. The results of this study can be concluded that there is the effectiveness of differentiated learning strategies in improving students' poetry writing skills in elementary schools. The implication of this research is that it can be used as reference and evaluation material in the application of differentiated learning strategies in other language skills besides writing such as reading, speaking, and listening in the future. Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada keterampilan menulis puisi bagi siswa perlu digali dengan baik dan benar, karena keterampilan ini tidak datang dengan sendirinya, diperlukan latihan yang teratur dan terprogram, sehingga proses kepenulisan menjadi lebih terarah dan siswa mampu menemukan ide atau gagasan menulis puisinya. Salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam menulis puisi bagi siswa sekolah dasar adalah strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest design atau before-after design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni asesmen formatif untuk proses pembelajaran (assessment for learning) berupa catatan observasi. Instrumen observasi yang digunakan yaitu rubrik unjuk kerja keterampilan menulis puisi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas VA dan VB SDN Sangkali Kecamatan Citeureup Kabupaten Bogor. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik acak bertujuan yaitu berjumlah 30 orang siswa terdiri dari 15 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan terdapat keefektifan strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa di sekolah dasar. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu bisa dijadikan bahan referensi dan evaluasi dalam penerapan strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada keterampilan berbahasa lain selain menulis seperti membaca, berbicara dan menyimak kedepannya.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of student creativity in dance lesson. The purpose of this study was to obtain the information related to the influence of Project Based Learning model on students' creativity in the field of dance lesson, namely Manuk Dadali traditional dance. This study was conducted at MI NU 56 Krajankulon, Kendal Regency, Central Java. The study design used Pre-experimental design of one group pre-test post-test of the PBL design. Performance and Documentation Test technique was used to collect the data evidences. Then, it continued with the analysis in the form of the normality test and the final analysis using the t-test (paired sample t-test). The results revealed that the average test before the PBL value is 56,34 and the average test after the PBL value is 65,46. These results were supported through the t-test results with a significance level of 0,05 and p = 0,000 < 0,05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Project Based Learning model to the creativity of students’ traditional dance lessons. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan minimnya daya cipta siswa pada tarian masuk materi kapabilitas tari. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan model project based learning pada daya cipta siswa masuk bidang tarian daerah berupa manuk dadali. Jenis penelitian yaitu quasy eksperimen dengan desain peneltian yang digunakan dengan one group tes sebelum dilakukannya PBL-tes setelah dilakukannya PBL design. Sumber penelitian dengan data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis data dengan t-test (paired sample t-test). Hasil penelitian didapatkan rerata skor tes sebelum dilakukannya PBL 56,34 dan rerata skor tes setelah dilakukannya PBL 65,46. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model project based learning terhadap daya cipta tari siswa.

Abstract

Teachers still need help teaching students critical thinking skills. Several factors cause difficulties in instilling essential thinking skills, including the selection of models and methods and the need for more internet connection stability. The purpose of this study was to reveal (1) What are the learning methods for instilling critical thinking in Indonesian Elementary School during pandemic? (2) What critical thinking indicators are developed in the learning? (3) What are the results of the methods used in instilling critical thinking? The review method used in this paper was a systematic literature review. The search for articles on Google scholar used the help of the Publish or Perish application. The selection and screening stages were carried out by analyzing the article's title, keywords, abstract, background of the problem, author's question, and results and discussion. The results of this study showed that (1) Teachers used varied learning methods during the pandemic, such as e-learning, online classes, and blended learning. (2) The critical thinking indicators developed are formulating problems, analyzing, concluding, evaluating, building basic skills, providing a further explanation, and managing strategies. (3) The learning methods used during the pandemic can instill students' critical thinking characteristics based on several indicators. However, several learning methods still need help instilling critical thinking skills. In conclusion, in training critical thinking skills, several methods can instill students' necessary thinking skills, and some ways cannot instill students' critical thinking skills. Guru masih kesulitan dalam mengajarkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dari siswa.Beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan dalam menanamkan kemampuan berpikir kritis diantaranya yaitu pemilihan model, metode, dan kurang stabilnya koneksi internet yang digunakan. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengungkap 1. Bagaimana metode pembelajaran untuk penanaman karakter berpikir kritis di Indonesia selama masa pandemi 2.  Indikator berpikir kritis apa yang dikembangkan dalam model pembelajaran 3. Apa hasil dari metode yang digunakan dalam menanamkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Metode tinjauan yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah a systematic literature review. Pencarian artikel pada Google scholar menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Publish or perish, karena dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi tersebut akan memudahkan dalam mencari artikel. Tahapan seleksi dan penyaringan dilakukan dengan menganalisis judul artikel, kata kunci, abstrak, latar belakang masalah, pertanyaan penulis, serta hasil dan pembahasan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Guru menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi selama pandemi seperti, e-learning, online class, dan blended learning. (2) indikator berpikir kritis yang dikembangkan adalah merumuskan masalah, menganalisis, menyimpulkan mengevaluasi, membangun keterampilan dasar, memberikan penjelasan lanjut, dan mengatur strategi. (3) Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan selama masa pandemi ada yang dapat menanamkan karakter berpikir kritis siswa berdasarkan beberapa indikator berpikir kritis yang digunakan namun ada beberapa metode pembelajaran yang masih kesulitan untuk menanamkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kesimpulannya, dalam melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis ada beberapa metode yang dapat menanamkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan ada juga metode yang tidak dapat menanamkan karakter kritis siswa.

Abstract

Early-stage reading competence is an important aspect that primary school students must have to follow other learning at an advanced level. Teaching materials have an essential role in this early reading learning. This research aims to see the need for developing teaching materials, especially in early-stage reading, to complement the Indonesian teaching materials already used in the research school. The teaching materials for early-stage reading are summarized in the Indonesian teaching materials so that causing the content of the early-stage lesson is less intensive to support learning. This research used interviews, document reviews, and needs analysis questionnaires. Respondents and resource persons in this study were the principal, grade 1 and grade 2 teachers of SDN Cigoong 3 Serang City. The results showed that the Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes (CP) in the reading element in Phase A requires students to master the competency of early-stage reading, so teaching materials are needed with the type of printed publication, using the SAS (Structural Analytic Synthetic) starting reading method. Abstract

This research is motivated by learning that has not used innovative learning models so that students are less active in learning, not maximal cooperation between students in understanding learning materials. This resulted in student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning still being low. The research’s goal is to see how the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition type cooperative model affects student learning results in class V Cluster I, IV Jurai District. The Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model approach combines reading and writing assignments. Cooperative learning is a sort of group instruction that allows students more control over their learning and teams, fostering an interdependence that promotes friendly social interaction and supports learning. Each activity in group interaction is carried out using a set of procedures, which include teacher presentations, group practice, individual practice, peer review, additional practice, and testing. Employed a non-equivalent control group design as a quasi-experimental design. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling technique. Class VA has designated the experimental class, whereas class VB was designated the control class. The t-test revealed that tcount is 2,399 and ttable at the 95 percent confidence level, with a significant level (α) of 0.05, is 2.045. Because tcount >  ttable (2,399 > 2,045), we can assume that H1 is acceptable. Based on the research results, by testing the hypothesis using the t test, H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that employing the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model approach has a substantial impact and significant effect on student learning outcomes in Elementary School. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pembelajaran yang belum menggunakan model pembelajaran inovatif sehingga peserta didik kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran, belum maksimalnya kerja sama antar peserta didik dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Hal ini mengakibatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh model kooperatif tipe Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V Gugus I IV Kecamatan Jurai. Pendekatan model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) memadukan tugas membaca dan menulis. Pembelajaran kooperatif adalah semacam instruksi kelompok yang memungkinkan siswa lebih mengontrol pembelajaran dan tim mereka, menumbuhkan saling ketergantungan yang mempromosikan interaksi sosial yang ramah dan mendukung pembelajaran. Setiap kegiatan dalam interaksi kelompok dilakukan dengan menggunakan seperangkat prosedur, yang meliputi presentasi guru, praktik kelompok, praktik individu, peer review, praktik tambahan, dan tes. Mempekerjakan desain kelompok kontrol yang tidak setara sebagai desain kuasi-eksperimental. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Kelas VA ditetapkan sebagai kelas eksperimen, sedangkan kelas VB ditetapkan sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil uji t diketahui thitung sebesar 2,399 dan ttabel pada tingkat kepercayaan 95 persen, dengan taraf signifikan (α) 0,05 sebesar 2,045. Karena t hitung > ttabel (2,399 > 2,045), maka dapat diasumsikan bahwa H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) memiliki pengaruh yang cukup besar dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the challenges faced by teachers in implementing the independent learning curriculum in natural and social science learning for fourth grade students at SD N 02 Wonorejo. The focus in this study is to discuss the challenges faced by teachers while planning, implementing, and evaluating natural and social science lessons. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Sources of research data are teachers and fourth grade students and school principals. This research was carried out in semester two of the 2022/2023 school year. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Validity test using source and method triangulation. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This research concludes that there are challenges faced by teachers in the stages of planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. Teachers' challenges in natural and social science learning include obstacles in determining learning strategies and models, difficulties in reducing learning outcomes to learning objectives, not understanding the format in detail in making teaching modules, there are no student books yet, the use of learning media is not maximized, difficulties in linking science material with social, and techniques in carrying out the assessment have not been maximized. Thus, it becomes an evaluation that it is necessary to maximize learning by knowing the various challenges in implementing the independent curriculum in natural and social science learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka belajar pada pembelajaran IPAS siswa kelas IV SD N 02 Wonorejo. Fokus dalam penelitian ini yaitu membahas mengenai tantangan apa saja yang dihadapi oleh guru selama menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Sumber data penelitian yaitu guru dan siswa kelas IV serta kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester 2 tahun pembelajaran 2022/2023. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman dengan tahap-tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat tantangan yang dihadapi guru pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Tantangan guru pada pembelajaran IPAS antara lain terkendala dalam menentukan strategi dan model pembelajaran, kesulitan dalam menurunkan CP menjadi tujuan pembelajaran, belum paham format secara detail dalam membuat modul ajar, belum terdapat buku siswa, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran belum maksimal, kesulitan dalam mengaitkan materi IPA dengan IPS, dan teknik dalam melaksanakan asesmen belum maksimal. Dengan demikian, menjadi sebuah evaluasi bahwa perlu memaksimalkan pembelajaran dengan mengetahui berbagai tantangan dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka pada pembelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

Mathematical dispositions play an important role in mathematics learning. Students who have a negative disposition will have an impact on their learning. Aspects of mathematical disposition consist of self-confidence, perseverance, learning with full responsibility, never giving up, and having an interest in challenging, reflective, and creative problems. Given the importance of the mathematical disposition aspect, it should be of particular concern in learning. This study aims to provide a description of the mathematical dispositions of students in grades 4, 5, and 6 at SDN Banyuajuh 1. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research was conducted to obtain in-depth results. The researcher is the main instrument and is supported by several supporting instruments, such as a mathematical disposition questionnaire, observation sheets, interview guidelines, and documentation guidelines. The findings in this study indicate that the condition of the high school students' mathematical dispositions is in a good category. This is indicated by several aspects of achievement, such as the implementation of mathematics and the positive level of student self-confidence. However, not all aspects of mathematical disposition can be achieved properly. Aspects of flexibility, monitoring ability, and student reflection abilities need to be improved. Not only that but teachers also need to pay attention to aspects of cultural appreciation and integration in mathematics. Students' mathematical dispositions are not only influenced by teacher factors but also by student factors. Learning environment factors also play an important role. So, this study provides implications and recommendations for mathematics learning activities that are oriented toward students' mathematical dispositions. Disposisi matematis memiliki peran penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Siswa yang memiliki disposisi negatif akan berdampak pada kegagalan belajar. Aspek disposisi matematis yang terdiri dari percaya diri, tekun, belajar dengan penuh tanggungjawab, pantang menyerah, memiliki ketertarikan terhadap soal yang menantang, reflektif dan kreatif. Mengingat pentingnya aspek disposisi matematis, seharusnya menjadi perhatian khusus dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi terhadap kondisi disposisi matematis siswa kelas 4, 5 dan 6 di SDN Banyuajuh 1. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus, penelitian ini dilakukan guna memperoleh hasil yang mendalam. Peneliti sebagai instrumen utama dan didukung beberapa instrumen pendukung seperti angket disposisi matematis, lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara dan pedoman dokumentasi. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kondisi disposisi matematis siswa kelas tinggi dalam kategori baik. Hal ini terindikasi dari beberapa aspek capaian seperti implementasi matematika hingga tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa yang positif. Namun, tidak semua aspek disposisi matematis dapat terrcapai dengan baik. Aspek fleksibiltas, kemampuan monitoring dan kemampuan refleksi siswa perlu ditingkatkan. Bukan hanya itu, guru juga perlu memperhatikan aspek apresiasi dan integrasi budaya dalam matematika. Disposisi matematis siswa tidak dipengaruhi oleh faktor guru saja, melainkan faktor dari siswa, faktor lingkungan belajar juga berperan penting. Jadi, penelitian ini memberi implikasi dan rekomendasi pada kegiatan pembelajaran matematika yang berorientasi pada disposisi matematis siswa.

Abstract

The readiness of teachers to use technology plays a vital role, so the use of learning technology must be designed as well as possible. Some problems occur when teachers are still not ready to use technology, and the use of the internet or technology has not been implemented optimally by teachers. Teacher readiness in teaching also needs to be improved, especially regarding learning technology to design subject matter to make it more attractive to improve the quality of education, which is the main agenda in improving the quality of MI (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) to compete in the current era. global era. In addition, teachers must be more creative in learning and increase their readiness to utilize learning technology. However, not all schools can use technology due to limited infrastructure. The use of technology in schools will be optimal if equipped with adequate facilities so that students and teachers can access various learning resources. For this reason, this study aims to determine teacher readiness in using and utilizing learning technology to achieve learning goals in MI Pekat District, West Nusa Tenggara. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. At the same time, processing data using qualitative methods systematically. technology The results of the study found that 1) there was teacher readiness in utilizing technology, but some teachers lacked knowledge about the use of technology, 2) the teacher's attitude towards the use of technology in learning was still not optimal, 3) lack of supporting facilities and infrastructure. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that it is crucial to analyze the technological readiness of teachers in utilizing learning technology, investigate attitudes toward using technology in learning, and examine the actual conditions in schools in utilizing technology. If this is analyzed and observed, the weaknesses and strengths regarding technological readiness in schools will be known, which will be used as a reference for future improvements. Kesiapan guru dalam menggunakan teknologi memegang peranan penting, sehingga pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran memang harus dirancang sebaik mungkin. Namun, terdapat guru yang belum siap dalam menggunakan teknologi. Kesiapan guru dalam mengajar menggunakan teknologi perlu ditingkatkan untuk merancang materi pelajaran agar lebih menarik untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang menjadi agenda utama dalam meningkatkan mutu MI (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) untuk bersaing di era sekarang. Guru juga harus lebih kreatif dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kesiapannya dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran. Namun, tidak semua sekolah bisa menggunakan teknologi karena keterbatasan infrastruktur. Pemanfaatan teknologi di sekolah akan optimal jika dilengkapi dengan fasilitas yang memadai agar dapat digunakan untuk mengakses berbagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran di MI Kecamatan Pekat Nusa Tenggara Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data diolah menggunakan metode kualitatif secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat kesiapan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi, namun beberapa guru kurang memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap mengenai penggunaan teknologi yang belum optimal, kurangnya sarana yang mendukung. Jika menganalisis kesiapan teknologi, sikap guru, serta kondisi aktual, maka akan diketahui kekurangan dan kelebihan kesiapan teknologi di sekolah, sebagai acuan dalam perbaikan kedepannya.

Abstract

The ability to speak in front of a general audience or public speaking needs to be trained as early as possible. Public speaking will provide many benefits for someone to continue to achieve a better career in the future. The purpose of this research is to analyze how public speaking is practiced at MIM PK Wirogunan through the Islamic lecture and young preachers’ program that have been implemented since 2015/2016. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a case study research design. The number of respondents used was 7 people consisting of school principals, teachers in class IV A and B, and 2 students each in class A and B. The research data presented was in the form of descriptions accompanied by quotes from the results of interviews conducted with the respondents. This research took place using data collection techniques through three ways, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The validity test was carried out by means of technique and source triangulation. The results of the study show that the two programs implement the expected form of public speaking training, namely the fulfillment of public speaking components such as speakers, material recipients, material content, and feedback. Positive impacts were also received by students, namely having a more courageous mentality, self-confidence, and being able to think more critically. However, there are also a number of obstacles that have been encountered, but so far, they have been handled well through evaluation activities. Kemampuan berbicara di depan khalayak umum atau public speaking perlu dilatih sedini mungkin. Public speaking akan memberikan segudang manfaat untuk kelangsungan seseorang mencapai karier yang lebih baik di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana praktik public speaking di MIM PK Wirogunan melalui program kultum dan da’i cilik yang telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Jumlah responden yang digunakan berjumlah 7 orang yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru kelas IV A dan B, serta masing-masing 2 siswa kelas A dan B. Data penelitian yang disajikan berupa deskripsi yang disertai kutipan hasil wawancara bersama responden. Penelitian ini berlangsung menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tiga cara yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, serta kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua program tersebut mengimplementasikan bentuk pelatihan public speaking yang diharapkan, yakni hampir terpenuhinya komponen public speaking seperti adanya pembicara, penerima materi, isi materi, serta adanya feedback. Dampak positif juga diterima siswa yakni memiliki mental lebih berani, percaya diri, serta mampu berpikir lebih kritis. Akan tetapi terdapat pula beberapa kendala yang turut ditemui, namun sejauh ini dapat diatasi dengan baik melalui kegiatan evaluasi.
