Abstract

Komoditas pertanian Indonesia mempunyai peluang pasar internasional dengan ekspornya yang menunjukkan pertumbuhan positif. Komoditas kakao Indonesia merupakan yang ketiga terbesar dalam ekspor sektor pertanian nasional. Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi volume ekspor kakao Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat dengan variabel dependentnya adalah volume ekspor kakao yang dikhususkan pada komoditas kakao dengan kode HS18010 (kakao biji), sedangkan variabel independentnya meliputi produksi kakao Indonesia, harga kakao dunia, dan GDP perkapita Amerika Serikat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Error Correction Model (ECM) dan asumsi klasik yang diperoleh dari World Bank, Global Price of Cocoa (PCOCOUSDM), Food dan Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), International Cocoa Organization (ICCO), dan United Nations Commodty of Trade (UN Cometrade) dengan mengambil data sekunder dari tahun 1990-2019 atau dalam kurun waktu selama 30 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam jangka panjang pada variabel produksi kakao Indonesia memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor kakao Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat. Variabel harga kakao dunia dan GDP perkapita Amerika Serikat memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor kakao Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat. Hasil estimasi jangka pendek menunjukkan bahwa hanya variabel produksi kakao Indonesia memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan, sedangkan variabel harga kakao dunia dan GDP Amerika Serikat memiliki pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap volume ekspor kakao Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat. Berdasarkan kriteria ECT negatif dan signifikan maka estimasi ECM adalah valid secara statistik dan juga lolos syarat uji asumsi klasiknya.

Abstract

Komoditas perkebunan mempunyai prospek cukup baik karena cocok diusahakan diperdesaan dan memiliki nilai ekonomis yang cukup tinggi sehingga mampu meningkatkan pendapatan petani dan memperluas kesempatan kerja diwilayah perdesaan. Tanaman nilam dikenal dengan nama patchouli oil merupakan tanaman perkebunan penghasil minyak atsiri yang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi baik dipasar nasional maupun pasar internasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa besar tingkat penerimaan, biaya dan pendapatan usahatani nilam (Pogostemon cablin Benth) di Desa Simpang II Kecamatan Simpang Raya Kabupaten Banggai.  Berdasarkan hasil penelian bahwa penerimaan sangat ditentukan oleh besar kecilnya produksi yang dihasilkan dan harga dari produksi tersebut.  Tingkat penerimaan usahatani nilam di Desa Simpang II Kecamatan Simpang Raya Kabupaten Banggai sebesar Rp. 10.458.000,00/0,80 ha.  Biaya merupakan beban yang harus dikeluarkan yang tidak terlepas dari aktivitas kegiatan usahatani petani responden yang harus dikeluarkan dan diperhitungkan. Biaya usahatani nilam di Desa Simpang II Kecamatan Simpang Raya Kabupaten Banggai Rp. 4.384.791,67/0,80 ha.  Pendapatan merupakan selisih antara penerimaan dengan biaya yang dikeluarkan pada kegiatan usahatani nilam oleh produsen atau besarnya penerimaan dikurangi seluruh biaya yang dikeluarkan. Berapa besar Pendapatan usahatani nilam di Desa Simpang II Kecamatan Simpang Raya Kabupaten Banggai Rp. 6.073.208,33/0,80 ha.

Abstract

Lack of availability of nutrients in the soil is one of the factors that affect the production of watermelon plants. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of the best types of compost from various biostarters on the growth and yield of watermelon plants. The research was carried out on agricultural land in Bumi Beringin Village, Luwuk Utara District, Banggai Regency, this research was carried out in July using the experimental method (experiment). The treatment factor was a single factor, namely rice husk compost, which consisted of 5 levels of treatment. The experimental units were arranged in a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 3 replications, so that the number of experimental units of harmony was 15 units. The treatments were combined with rice husks in the form of Trichoderma, EM4, Stardec, and Starbio with each dose of 640 g/hole. The results showed a very significant effect on the variable length of plant observation at week 2 of WAP with the best results in the treatment of P2 = Compost Fertilizer (Em 4) 640 gr/hole with an average of 13.89 cm. Significant effect on the number of leaves at week 2 of MST with the best results in the treatment of P2 = Compost Fertilizer (Em 4) 640 g/hole with an average of 6.89. The number of fruits had a significant effect with the best treatment at P2 (Compost Fertilizer (Em 4) 640 gr/hole) with an average of 4.67. And the fruit circumference observation had a very significant effect with the best treatment at P4 (Compos Fertilizer (Starbio) 640 gr/hole) with an average of 67.88 cm. And for the weight of the planting fruit the best and significant effect on the P2 treatment (Compost Fertilizer (Em 4) 640 gr/hole) with an average of 9.10 cm.

Abstract

Apple tomatoes the shape of the fruit is round, sturdy, and slightly hard like apples or pears this type of tomato is more suitable for planting on high plates. Tomato plants originate from the west coast of South America and grow wild around Ecuador, the northern part of Chile, and Galapagos Island, but domestication or cultivation was not first carried out in that place This study aims to find out how much income and feasibility level farmers have on Tomato farming in Alakasing Village, Peling Tengah District, Banggai Islands Regency is carried out in Alakasing Village, Peling Tengah District, Banggai Islands Regency,  which starts from June-August 2022. The selection of the research site was carried out by purposive sampling based on the potential of adjusting to the purpose of the study. The analysis used in this study is income analysis. The results of the study obtained an analysis of the average income from the apple tomato farming business in Di Alakasing Village, Peling Tengah District, Banggai Islands Regency. during one growing season is IDR 10,981,381.95 in addition to that the feasibility of the R/C ratio of the Apple Tomato Farming Business is profitable with an average value of R/C = 4.05 That is, each additional input of IDR 1.00 will increase receipts of IDR 4.05. Suggestions that can be submitted after this research are: 1) The research data shows that the apple tomato farming business in Alakasing Village, Peling Tengah District, Banggai Kepulauan Regency, is profitable and effective, it also shows that this apple tomato farming business has good prospects to be developed by increasing the planting area. With the increase in acreage and good management, it will increase production and be followed by an increase in farmers' income. 2) It is recommended that there be management training for farmers. Whether it is training on technical farming or non-technical business such as training in analyzing farming business well. The results of this analysis can be used for the development of farming businesses, especially to obtain financing from capital-borrowing institutions

Abstract

Lack of nutrient availability in the soil is one of the factors affecting melon plant production, so this study aims to determine the best effect and type of compost with various biostarters on the growth and yield of melon plants. This research was carried out on agricultural land in Bumi Beringin Village, North Luwuk District, Banggai Regency, this research was carried out in June 2021. This research used a randomized block design (RAK) method which consisted of 1 factor with 3 replications and consisted of 5 treatments so that there were 15 experimental units. The results showed that observing the growth and yield of melon plants, it could be concluded that (1) the treatment of rice husk compost had a very significant effect on the observed variables of plant length at 3, 4 and 5 weeks WAP with the best results in treatment P1 (compost rice husk with EM4 biostarter 640 g/hole) with an average of 18.78, 42.34 and 57.13 cm. (2) Application of rice husk compost fertilizer with EM4 biostarter had a significant effect on the variable number of fruit plantations with an average of 3.11.

Abstract

Efforts to maintain a competitive advantage require long-term planning. The analysis used to identify the company's strategic position in the industry, one of which uses a SWOT analysis tool. A marketing strategy is needed because of the increasingly widespread growth and increasingly fierce market competition. This situation of course forces entrepreneurs to use various methods in their marketing strategy. The objectives of this study were to determine Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats to rice marketing at CV. Berkat Padaelo in Bakung Urban Village, Batui District, Banggai Regency. Based on the results of scoring internal factors and external factors, the highest score obtained was the SO (Strengths-Opportunities) strategy of 4.6, the ST strategy (Strengths-Treats) of 3.92, the WO Strategy (Weaknesses-Opportunities) of 2.67, while the lowest is found in the WT (Weaknesses-Threats) strategy of 1.99. SO Strategy (Strengths-Opportunities) of 4.6, is a situation that is very profitable for respondents to have the strength to take advantage of existing opportunities, namely: Strategic Location, Quality Production, Modern Machine Tools, Own Capital, Farmer's Trust, Availability of raw materials, Market support , Support for cooperation with buyers, There is relatively extensive warehousing support, There is support for a skilled workforce.

Abstract

Bokashi cow dung is a fertilizer derived from fermented cow dung with various bioactivators that can improve soil physical and structural properties, increase water holding capacity, soil chemistry and soil biology. The aim of the study was to identify and study cow dung bokashi on various bioactivators on the growth and yield of shallots. This research will be carried out from September to November 2021 on the farmers' land in Nulion Village, South Totikum District, Banggai Islands Regency. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely B0: Control (no treatment); B1: Bokashi cow manure + Trichoderma sp bioactivator; B2: Bokashi cow dung + EM4 Bioactivator; B3: Bokashi cow dung + ABG Degra Bioactivator. Each treatment was repeated 5 times so that there were 20 experimental units. The results showed that the treatment of giving cow dung bokashi to various bioactivators had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, fresh weight per sample, fresh weight per plot, dry weight per sample, there was one bioactivator which had a very significant effect and had the highest average value on shallot growth and yield was Trichoderma sp.

Abstract

Corn is an agricultural commodity that specializes in food crops that are cultivated as the mainstay of the people of Simpang Raya District, which is used as a staple food to replace rice. But, the main obstacle is that the corn production obtained is not optimal. This is because the corn cropland has not been managed properly, one of which is in terms of soil fertility. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase optimal production by evaluating soil fertility in the Corn crop area in Simpang Raya. This research was carried out in Simpang Raya District from June to October 2022, where the activity was to conduct a survey and soil sampling in 5 locations that were chosen intentionally and were considered to be representative of the entire corn cropland in Simpang Raya District. The criteria for assessing soil fertility on corn cropland at the research location are adjusted to the determination of soil fertility status referring to the Soil Research Center. After that, it will be adjusted using the matching method between the quality of the land obtained with the condition that the growing criteria for corn crops refer to the Center for Research and Development of Agricultural Land resources. The results showed that soil fertility in corn cropland is classified as low. Furthermore, the determination of soil fertility based on the criteria of the corn crop as a whole obtained marginal status. This is because the content of KB, P2O5, and K2O in the corn fields representing the research area is relatively low. so, the need for land management by providing organic matter and intensive fertilization so that the soil fertility status of corn land in Simpang Raya District can increase and meet the nutrient needs of corn plants, that way the corn crop will get optimal production results

Abstract

The main activities and main sources of income of the community, especially people in rural areas, are still dependent on the agricultural sector.  An agricultural commodity that is expected to move positively in terms of increasing production and income is rice. The purpose of this study is to find out what factors affect the production of paddy rice farming in Sisipan Village, Batui District. Knowing how much production and income of paddy rice farming is in Sisipan Village, Batui District.  The results obtained from this study are the Use of Production Inputs and Production Factors studied, 5 variables affect paddy rice production, namely land area (X1), seed use (X2), fertilizer use (X3), pesticide use (X4), and labor use (X5).  Based on the income analysis, the average respondent farmer revenue rate was Rp. 24,022,857.14 with costs incurred by respondent farmers for the production process of paddy rice farming business on average Rp. 4,004,452.38, so that the average income of paddy rice farming by respondent farmers was Rp. 20,018,404.76.

Abstract

Cucumber is one of the horticultural crops that is widely cultivated by farmers in our country, Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth and yield of cucumber plants by applying plastic mulch and applying chicken manure. This research was carried out from June to September 2021 in Sisipan Village, Batui District, Banggai Regency. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors. Parameters observed in this study included plant height (7, 14, 21, and 28 DAP), number of leaves (7, 14, 21 and 28 DAP), fruit length (first and second harvests), fruit diameter (first and second harvests) and fruit weight (first and second harvest). The research data were analyzed using the F test of variance analysis and continued with the Honest Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results of the study had a significant effect on the plastic mulch treatment on plant height at 7 HST, 14 HST and 21 HST. Number of leaves at the age of 7 HST, 14 HST, 21 HST and 28 HST. The length of the first harvest fruit. The diameter of the fruit of the first harvest and the second harvest. The weight of the first harvest fruit. The application of chicken manure had a significant effect on the length of the first harvest fruit and the weight of the first harvest fruit on cucumber plants.
