Abstract

Education for early childhood has undergone many changes. Challenges Technological developments require educators to be more creative in packaging learning models for students. During the era of the covid pandemic the learning process took place online. Now the pandemic is over and teaching and learning activities have returned to normal. This is a challenge for teachers, because teachers must be able to convey learning material more creatively. Combining technological developments with the needs of students at school. This study aims to determine the extent to which the use of technology in early childhood learning. The methods used included questionnaires, interviews and observations, by taking a sample of 26 schools in the Madiun City area. The results of the study show that all schools have utilized technology, but so far its use has been limited to learning media, such as the use of laptops, projectors, internet or OHPs. Technology has not been used directly in learning resources such as being used in educational games.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to describe students’ procesess on understanding algebraic expression. This research was descriptive study with qualitative approach. Two students with the higher rank in mathematics’ test were selected as the research subject. The data were collected by giving algebraic forms problem based on Anderson’s cognitive processes of understand and interviews. The results shows that on: interpreting, feminin & masculine student transforms the given information into variables to determine the algebraic forms of the problem, the difference is the letters that used to represent variables; exemplying, both student gives appropriate specific examples, the difference is masculine student gives examples of algebraic forms which terms contain single variable; classifying, both student classifies the algebraic forms that has three terms and explains why an algebraic form called as three-terms of algebraic form; inferring, both student use the information in the problem to conclude the solution; summarizing, both student generalize the general form of three-variables of algebraic form; comparing, feminin student compare the simmiliarities to determine algebraic forms that have the same characteristics as the algebraic form given, while masculline student can not find the simmiliarities. It causes a bias in masculline student on exemplying.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much the ability to read Javanese script has increased by applying the Teams Game Tournament model with the help of monopoly game media in class IV SD Unggulan Muslimat Kudus. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR). Data collection techniques in this study are observation, tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis stage with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study stated that applying the Teams Game Tournament method with the help of monopoly game media had a significant increase. With the acquisition of an average score at the pre-cycle stage of 16.67% with the scores of students who completed only 6 students and 30 students who did not complete, the stage of cycle I was 86.11% with the scores of students who completed 31 students and 5 students who did not complete, as well as in the second cycle stage of 88.89% with the acquisition of 32 students who completed and 4 students who did not complete. Based on these results it can be concluded that there is an influence on the ability to read Javanese script in fourth grade students at Unggulan Muslimat Kudus Elementary School by using the TGT model with monopoly games as media.

Abstract

Technology has an important role, because it can improve the quality of education. The use of online media in the e-learning process is very important for transferring knowledge and can increase the effectiveness of online learning. Students who have high learning motivation are able to control their ability to learn independently. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of online learning and online media on learning independence mediated by learning motivation to explain this relationship. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The sample used was 181 grade 11 high school students. The data in this study are primary data using a Likert scale. Sampling using proportional random. Data analysis technique used SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results of the study stated that the Effectiveness of Online Learning had a positive and significant effect on Learning Independence, the Effectiveness of Online Learning had a positive and significant effect on Learning Motivation, Online Media had a positive and significant effect on Online Learning Effectiveness, Online Media had a positive and significant effect on Learning Independence, Online media has a positive and significant effect on learning motivation, learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on learning independence. The effectiveness of online learning has an effect on learning independence through learning motivation. Online media has a positive effect on learning independence through learning motivation. This research is an input for teachers to motivate students to learn independently and develop technological innovation and improve student learning abilities.

Abstract

Technological advances have had a major influence on the development of learning, one of which is by providing educational videos which are carried out at MIN 7 Medan City. The purpose of this article is to reveal how to implement educational videos in social studies learning with the following focus. First, how to plan educational video media in social studies learning at MIN 7 Medan City. Second, make the implementation and student learning outcomes of the use of educational videos. Third, what are the obstacles in implementing educational videos in social studies learning and the solutions to these obstacles. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with the method of collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. Then, to ensure the validity of the data is used through triangulation. The research results obtained as follows. First, in planning lessons using educational video media, it is the duty of the principal and teacher to plan learning in class according to the RPP and develop it. Second, in the implementation of the lesson, it has displayed videos obtained from Youtube in the form of videos of short duration ± 10 minutes when learning is in progress. Third, there are still obstacles felt by teachers and students related to learning such as managing time and teacher skills in designing videos. However, solutions are carried out by teachers such as intense discussions between teachers and students, sharing video selection, and learning innovations. So it can be concluded that the implementation of learning using educational videos is very helpful for teachers and students as a learning support tool in the ongoing learning process.

Abstract

Facing global competition and maximizing the process of forming advanced and superior Human Resources (HR) requires means through education. The 12-year compulsory education program from the Government is to prepare for the golden generation of 2045. The purpose of this research is to find out how effective access to education services is through the Smart Indonesia program for Generation Z students. The research method uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. To measure the effectiveness of the Smart Indonesia program, the theory fromKettner, Moroney, and Martin.The results showed that the utilization of aid funds for the smart Indonesia program was going well and students used according to government procedures where they only bought school equipment and needs with satisfactory quality because students took part in competitions both in the non-academic (art sports) and academic fields.Thus, in the future students will continue to increase their potential to become superior and achievers.

Abstract

The quality of education is considered low by many groups. One of the factors that influence this is the ability of teachers as educators. The enthusiasm for teacher performance is influenced by several factors, including the academic supervision of supervisors, school principals, and the social emotional influence of school principals. This study aims to, describe the relationship of school academic supervision. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. Samples were obtained from 90 teachers at 14 public elementary schools in Kota Masohi District. The technique used is a closed questionnaire. The method used is data analysis. The results of the analysis show that: School academic supervision is in the moderate category (83%), Socio-emotional competence is in the category (76%), Teacher performance is in the moderate category (82%). There is a positive and significant relationship between the academic supervision of school supervisors, social emotional competence and teacher performance so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Conclusion of school academic supervision, Teacher social emotional competence with the performance of teachers of 14 public elementary schools in Masohi City, It still has to be done optimally to achieve the target of supervision. Suggestions from the results of this study the supervision of school academic supervisors and teachers' social emotional competence involves teachers actively in the process of implementing and developing programs, and making decisions related to the development of teacher performance competencies.

Abstract

The background of this study comes from the low learning outcomes of students in Mathematics subjects in Class IV students of SDN Jajartunggal I/450 Surabaya. The low learning outcomes are due to inappropriate learning methods, low interest and motivation of students to learn, lack of active participation of students in the learning process and learning methods that are not fun according to the age of grade IV elementary school students, so that the material is not absorbed perfectly. The purpose of this study was to improve math learning outcomes in Class IV students of SDN Jajartunggal I/450 Surabaya, and increase the activeness of students in the learning process. This research uses the inquiry method assisted by concrete media. It aims to improve the learning outcomes of students, increase the activeness of students in learning and make the learning process fun and help students' memory be absorbed longer through real or concrete media. The result of the research is the increase in learning outcomes and student activeness. This can be seen from the analysis of the value in the pre-cycle of learning completeness reached 30.30%, the class average reached 62.22 and the activeness of students reached 30.5%. In cycle I, learning completeness rose to 81.48%, the class average also rose to 71.48 and the activeness of students reached 50%. In cycle II, learning completeness increased from cycle I, namely 92.59%, the class average also increased to 71.48 and learner activeness reached 50%. In cycle II, learning completeness increased from cycle I, namely 92.59%, the class average rose to 78.15 and student activeness increased to 72.2%. The research target in improving the learning outcomes of Mathematics addition competency is that the teacher invites the active role of students in the form of groups in fun learning through inquiry methods assisted by real or concrete objects, and audio-visual media so as to achieve satisfactory learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine whether or not there is a significant influence from the principal's leadership on the performance of SMA teachers in Huamual District, (2) determine whether or not there is a significant influence from organizational culture on the performance of SMA teachers in Huamual District, (3) determine whether or not there is a significant influence of work motivation on the performance of high school teachers in Huamual District, and (4) determine whether there is a simultaneous significant influence of principal leadership, organizational culture, and work motivation on the performance of high school teachers in Huamual District. This type of research is Ex Post Facto research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 104 teachers selected by census technique. The data were obtained from closed questionnaires and were processed using regression test statistics. The results of this study are as follows, namely there is a positive and significant influence of 11.40% from the principal's leadership on the performance of high school teachers in Huamual sub-district, there is a positive and significant influence of 15.40% from organizational culture on the performance of high school teachers in Huamua sub-district, there is a positive and significant influence of 22.10% of teacher work motivation on high school teacher performance in Huamual sub-district, and there is a simultaneous positive and significant effect of 24.00% from principal leadership, organizational culture, and teacher work motivation on high school teacher performance in Huamual sub-district.
