Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) risk analysis is an important step in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for workers. CV Pangan Berkah Sentosa is one of the companies operating in the frozen food industry and can be said to have implemented K3, improvements and evaluation are needed because several cases of work accidents are still found. To prevent work accidents and work-related diseases, this can be done by conducting a risk analysis. One method that can be used is HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control). This method consists of 3 (three) stages, namely hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control. Based on the research results, there are 30 potential hazards, of which 43.4% are hazards in the low risk category, 50% are hazards in the medium risk category, and 6.6% are hazards in the high risk category. Activities that have a high level of risk are the meat grinding process, the packaging process using automatic packaging equipment. Controls that can be carried out to reduce risks are by using personal protective equipment (PPE) for workers in accordance with the risk of danger faced by workers, providing work aids to minimize direct contact of workers' body organs with machine parts that have a high potential for danger.

Abstract

A company's continuous production process is influenced by factors such as technology, capital, inventory of goods, raw material inventory, and labor. Inventory factors have an important role in a production process, where the company's inventory of raw materials aims to ensure the continuity of the company's production process. One of them is factory X's bread production sector because the factory owner has not used any inventory control system in his factory. This is shown by the high inventory costs using the MRP method and resulting savings compared to the company's manual method. Optimizing raw material supplies for bread factories can also be done using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. This is proven by the results of Lot Sizing calculations with raw material inventory costs of IDR 20,266,298, while costs for ordering goods are IDR 19,776,000 and for storing goods IDR 11,761,500 per year.

Abstract

Textile construction methods such as reinforcing floors using fiber reinforced concrete (pillow filling materials), crack panels (cotton blankets), high density covers (mortality materials) and geotextiles have been developed. e PT Hilon Sumatra has not met the safety standards. in the workplace and may be subordinate to them. The purpose of this study is to analyze the risks and causes of occupational accidents. The method used in the study is the HIRA (risk and action) method. The HIRA method is used to identify possible risks and provides an assessment of risks based on the level of risk and severity of the problem. Based on the results of the study it was concluded: The results of the study show that in the final stage there is a very high risk in the tube part of the color up to 14 strengths, at the levels risk in the middle risk (M) of 12% . Risk (H) 44% and high risk (E) 44%. Hazard information includes safety information, K3 promotion, K3 training, emergency models, posters, banners, safety letters and safety signs. Currently, the risk management methods that have been introduced include control, the use of ADP and the use of ergonomic work equipment.

Abstract

Indonesia has various types of plants that can be cultivated throughout the year, such as rice, corn, soybeans, palm oil, coffee, tea, and cocoa. Rice is the most widely planted agricultural commodity and is a staple food for most Indonesians. Indonesian people still have extensive rice fields planted with rice. However, many young people now refuse to become farmers because they are considered unpromising to meet their needs. Therefore, it is necessary to research the design of rice planting machines. The purpose of this study is to design a rice planting machine according to the needs of farmers. The results of this study indicate that there are complaints from farmers during rice planting. Complaints are pain in body parts such as the neck, shoulders, waist, back, wrists, fingers, thighs, legs, and ankles. Therefore, it is necessary to design a rice planting machine to avoid complaints from farmers when planting rice.

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan salah satu produsen gula yang beroperasi di tanah air. Hasil pengamatan terhadap mesin-mesin di perusahaan ini menunjukkan adanya penurunan performa pada mesin reverse osmosis (RO) yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan air bersih yang diperlukan dalam berbagai tahap proses produksi gula dan boiler. Hal ini dapat mengganggu proses pembuatan energi dan menghentikan produksi gula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kinerja dan efisiensi mesin reverse osmosis tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) melalui pengukuran nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan pada bulan Juli sampai Desember 2024, untuk nilai Availability Rate = 99,8%, Performance Rate = 80% dan Quality Rate = 99,5%, maka diketahu presentase nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) mesin Reverse Osmosis memiliki rata-rata sebesar 80%, masih dibawah standart Word Class yaitu 85%, dari hasil tersebut menunjukan Performance Rate menjadi factor terbesar penyebab menurunya kinerja mesin reverse osmosis.

Abstract

Partner companies from various snack food manufacturers during the company’s production process faced problems in the form of high levels of packaging damage, which reached 11,01% exceeding the tolerance limit, this condition has an impact on increasing production cocsts and complaints from consumers. This study aims to identify and reduce the main causes od packaging damage by implementing Quality Control Circle (QCC) and Quality Loss Function (QLF). QCC is used to find the root casuse of the problem with the PDCA stages through tools such as check sheet, pareto diagrams, histograms, fishbone diagrams, stratification, and control charts. While QLF is used to calculate economic losses due to quality that deviates from standarts. The results of the study showed that the most common types of packaging defects were folding packaging, snap packaging, and slip packaging. The main causeative factors include operator negligence, unstable machine settings, materials that do not meet specifications. Recommendations for continuous imptovment include operator training, standardization of SOPs between shifts, machine calibration, and strict supervision of packaging materials.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada produksi wafer di CV. Surya Kencana Food, khususnya produk untuk PT. Ultra Prima Abadi adalah saat awal produksi dan ketika terjadi pergantian rasa, gramasi maupun bahan baku, dengan rata-rata tingkat BS mencapai 8,47% di bulan pertama, melebihi standart maksimal 6% yang ditetapkan mitra kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengendalian kualitas dalam upaya mengurangi produk cacat (Below Standart/BS). Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diterapkan metode Six Sigma dengan pendekatan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) dan konsep perbaikan berkelanjutan Kaizen. Melalui pendekatan Six Sigma (DMAIC), identifikasi cacat dilakukan menggunakan QC Seven Tools. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jenis cacat terbesar adalah BS Cutting sebesar 41,88%, diikuti oleh BS Book 22,55% dan BS Produk Jadi 19,58%. Nilai DPMO tertinggi ditemukan pada BS Cutting sebesar 152469,1358 dengan level sigma 2,57, sementara BS Book pada level sigma 2,93 dan BS Produk Jadi pada level 3,05. Melalui implementasi Kaizen berupa Five-M Checklist dan penerapan prinsip 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke), dilakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan untuk mengurangi variasi dan meningkatkan kualitas proses produksi. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji upaya pengendalian kualitas produk wafer Tango Chocolate pada tahap finishing good di CV. Surya Kencana Food. Masalah utama yang ditemukan adalah tingginya tingkat cacat, terutama wafer geripis dan wafer patah, yang berdampak negatif terhadap mutu dan efisiensi produksi. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi penyebab cacat serta mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan metode Quality Control Circle (QCC) dan Six Sigma dalam menurunkan tingkat cacat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tahapan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) serta siklus PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action). Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama Januari hingga Juni 2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dua jenis defect dominan menyumbang lebih dari 65% dari total kerusakan. Nilai DPMO tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Juni dengan 61.628 (level sigma 3,04), sedangkan hasil terbaik tercapai pada bulan April dengan 29.915 (sigma 3,38). Kontrol statistik melalui P-chart menunjukkan bahwa proses berada dalam batas kendali namun masih perlu peningkatan. Kesimpulan dari studi ini adalah bahwa kombinasi metode QCC dan Six Sigma dapat digunakan secara efektif untuk mengurangi variasi proses dan meningkatkan kualitas produk pada lini finishing good.

Abstract

In the context of intense competition in the language education sector, it is essential for course providers to understand consumer preferences. This study focuses on World English Institution in Pare, which offers English language courses. The research aims to analyze consumer preferences regarding the language course services by considering five main attributes: teaching methods, class size, program types, price, and instructor qualifications. Using a quantitative approach, this study employs conjoint analysis to evaluate the utility values and importance of each attribute. The sample consists of 55 respondents aged 17 to 40 who are actively enrolled in courses at World English Institution. Findings indicate that teaching methods and instructor quality are the most influential factors in consumer preferences. Respondents favor interactive methods such as game-based learning and native-speaking instructors, as well as small class sizes that create a more personalized learning environment. The results provide strategic insights for course providers to improve service quality. By understanding consumer preferences, institutions can design programs better aligned with participants' needs, thereby enhancing student satisfaction and retention. This study is expected to serve as a reference for further research in the field of non-formal education. Dalam konteks persaingan yang ketat di sektor pendidikan bahasa, penting bagi lembaga kursus untuk memahami preferensi konsumen. Penelitian ini berfokus pada Lembaga World English di Pare, yang menawarkan kursus bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis preferensi konsumen terhadap layanan kursus bahasa dengan mempertimbangkan lima atribut utama: metode pengajaran, ukuran kelas, jenis program, harga, dan kualifikasi pengajar. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menerapkan analisis konjoin untuk mengevaluasi nilai utilitas dan kepentingan setiap atribut. Sampel terdiri dari 55 responden berusia 17 hingga 40 tahun yang aktif mengikuti kursus di Lembaga World English. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa metode pengajaran dan kualitas pengajar adalah faktor paling berpengaruh dalam preferensi konsumen. Responden lebih menyukai metode interaktif seperti game learning dan pengajar yang merupakan native speaker, serta ukuran kelas kecil untuk suasana belajar yang lebih personal. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan strategis bagi lembaga kursus untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Dengan memahami preferensi konsumen, lembaga dapat merancang program yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta, sehingga meningkatkan kepuasan dan retensi siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi untuk studi lebih lanjut di bidang pendidikan nonformal.

Abstract

Unit Transfusi Darah (UTD) PMI Kabupaten Lamongan menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam mengelola rantai pasok darah, seperti fluktuasi jumlah pendonor dan rendahnya minat donor dari generasi muda. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tahun 2024 di UTD PMI Lamongan dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mengevaluasi, dan merumuskan strategi mitigasi risiko secara sistematis menggunakan metode House of Risk (HOR). Penilaian risiko dilakukan personel internal PMI yang memahami kondisi operasional di lapangan. Pada HOR Fase 1, penelitian berhasil mengidentifikasi 17 peristiwa risiko dan 19 agen risiko. Agen risiko prioritas ditentukan berdasarkan nilai Aggregate Risk Priority (ARP). Selanjutnya, HOR Fase 2 digunakan untuk merancang strategi mitigasi dengan mengukur rasio Effectiveness to Difficulty (ETD).
