Abstract

Gerakan revivalisme Islam merupakan gerakan keagamaan yang akhir-akhir ini ramai dibicarakan. Gerakan revivalisme Islam ini mewakili berbagai corak gerakan yang ada selama ini, diantaranya adalah Ikhwanul Muslimin (IM) di Mesir, gerakan Front Pembela Islam (FPI), Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI), Majelis Mujahidin Indonesia (MMI), Laskar Jihad dan Dakwah Salafi. Gagasan yang ditawarkan oleh gerakan revivalisme Islam ini adalah mengembalikan teks kepada karakter ideologis yang statis, ahistoris, sangat ekslusif, tekstualis dan bias patriarkis. Gerakan ini mendukung penerapan syariat Islam secara keseluruhan dalam sendi kehidupan masyarakat. Sehingga kelemahannya yang muncul adalah produk penafsiran teks eksegetik yang cenderung linier-otomistic dalam menafsirkan teks al-Qur’an dan mengabaikan kontektualisasi teks. Padahal teks (al-Qur’an) haruslah dipahami sesui dengan konteksnya agar teks dapat berbicara. Dengan demikian prinsip al-Qur’an yang shalih li kulli zaman wa makan dapat terbukti. Islamic revival movement is a religious movement which is discussed by many lately. The idea of the revival movement is to restore the text to the ideological character of the static, ahistorical, very exclusive, textualist and patriarchal bias. This article seeks to reveal the thoughts of the Islamic revival movement in Indonesia. The method used in this study is both descriptive-critical analysis by collecting existing data, and then describes and analyzes the critical-analytical approach. This study sought to prove that any product of religious thought is influenced by the background surrounding the birth of a religious movement. Therefore, the product should always be open to ideas and have not to criticize scared, considering he was a relative and construction human nature alterntative. In addition, research is also intended to do a 'criticism' and then look for creative synthesis of the methodologies and typologies that exist on the thinking of the religious movement of Islamic revivalism studied. Synthesis results are expected to be contribution to knowledge in religious thought in the contemporary era, especially in Indonesia. Based on the theoretical framework of a typology of religious thought, through critical approaches-analysis concluded that there are at least four typologies of religious thought in the contemporary era, namely: quasi-objectivist typologies traditionalist, revivalist quasi-objectivist, subjectivist and typology typhology quasi-modernist objectivist. This revival movements embracing quasi-objectivist revivalist typology is a genuine understanding of the religion. In the sense of a genuine understanding of the religion they are referring to is an understanding of the return of religion to the ideological character of the static, ahistorical, very exclusive, tektualis and patriarchal bias. According to their religion in the present era must be understood according to the age where religion is lowered regardless of the context in the present era. So the weakness that emerges is the product exegetical interpretation of a text which tends to linear- atomistic in interpreting the text of the Qur'an and ignore contextualization text. Though the text (al-Qur'an) must be understood within their context so that text can be explained. Thus the principle of al-Quran compatibility in all times and contexts can be proven.

Abstract

This research aimed at discovering the root of the problem of the relation between science and religion, identifying how conflict and collaboration between science and religion answer the challenges that human life pose and describing how religion in the future synergize with the advancement of science. This research emphasizes on the need to delve on the issues related to science and religion since the advancement of science often contradicts with some aspect of the Holy Book as well as the assumption that science rattles someone’s faith. Religion is also often regarded as something that hinders the development of science and people who participate in science development are often considered an infidel. There is a skeptical nuance that arose regarding the relationship between science and religion. Thus, it is of utmost importance to investigate on the ebb and flow of science and religion relation in affecting human life. This research employed methodology of philosophy, especially science philosophy in the form of justification and history of science. This research indicated that science and religion are both collaborating and confronting. Religion is used to make meaning of life and science is used to make life easier. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter religius dalam novel Rantau 1 Muara karya Ahmad Fuadi. Novel Rantau 1 Muara ini merupakan novel yang secara jelas mengisahkan tentang sebuah nilai perjuangan, kegigihan, ketaatan terhadap Tuhan serta pandangan hidup yang bertujuan untuk mencapai suatu kesuksesan dengan sebuah mantera man saara ala darbi washala, yaitu siapa yang berjalan di jalannya akan sampai ke tujuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptifkualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Rantau 1 Muara karya Ahmad Fuadi pada tahun 2013 dengan jumlah 395 halaman. Data dalam penelitian ini mencakup tentang satuan cerita dalam dialog, paragraf, dan tabel yang menunjukan nilai pendidikan karakter religius. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak catat, dan studi pustaka. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam menganalisis novel tersebut yaitu dengan menginterpretasikan berdasarkan teori yang ada, kemudian di deskripsikan sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil analisis data, diketahui terdapat 17 frekuensi yang terbagi di dalamnya meliputi, wujud religius hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan diantaranya, beribadah, mengucap salam, berdoa, bersyukur dan mohon ampun. Wujud religius manusia dengan manusia diantaranya meminta perlindungan, berbakti kepada orang tua, keakraban, dan mendoakan orang lain. Selanjutnya wujud religius manusia dengan alam yaitu memuji keindahan alam.Sedangkan nilai pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air terdapat 3 frekuensi meliputi wujud nilai cinta tanah air hubungannya dengan diri sendiri yaitu rasa nasionalis dan rasa toleransi antara umat beragama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan struktur Mantra Jawa dan relevansi Mantra sebagai kearifan lokal dalam kaitannya dengan agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan lokasi di Solo Raya termasuk Surakarta, Boyolali, Sukoharjo, Wonogiri, Klaten, Karanganyar, dan Sragen. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis interaktif, seperti reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa Mantra Jawa memiliki tiga jenis struktur, yaitu: (1) yang ideal, (2) acak, dan (3) tidak stabil. Struktur ideal Mantra Jawa Mantra dibagi menjadi tiga bagian utama, seperti: kepala, tubuh, dan kaki. Struktur Mantra ditutupi dengan rumus mistis, magis, mitologi, suara, diksi, dan imajinasi. Wacana nilai Islam telah sangat dominan dalam bahasa Mantra. Zat bahasa Arab juga dilekatkan dalam teks Mantra dan menghasilkan bentuk karakteristik khusus yang baru. Kondisi ini telah membuat karakter tertentu dari teks Mantra, seperti sintesis antara Jawa dan budaya Islam di satu kombinasi dan dari tradisi lain yaitu budaya Jawa. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Mantra milik orang Jawa secara bebas dapat diartikan sebagai metode atau konsep diungkapkan dengan kata-kata dan itu menegaskan bahwa Mantra memiliki kekuatan yang tak terlihat dan juga telah dibuat sebagai penetrasi pemecahan masalah kehidupan. This considerable study aims to explain the structure of Javanese Mantra and the relevancy of Mantra as a local wisdom in its relation with Islamic religion. This study is using the descriptive qualitative approach using the certain locations in Solo Raya including Surakarta, Boyolali, Sukoharjo, Wonogiri, Klaten, Karanganyar, and Sragen. The technique of analysis used in this study is interactive analysis, such as the data reduction, data display, and the conclusion. The result of the study has shown that the Javanese people Mantra has three types of structure, they are: (1) ideal, (2) random, and (3) unstable. The ideal structure of Javanese people Mantra was divided into three main parts, such as: the head, the body, and the leg. The structure of Mantra was covered by the mystical formula, magical, mythological, the sound, the diction, and the imagination. The discourse of Islamic value has been extremely dominant in the language of Mantra. The Arabic language substances also embedded in the text of Mantra and performed the new specific characteristic form. This condition has made the specific character of Mantra’s text, such as the synthesis between the Javanese and Islamic culture in the one combination of Javanese cultural tradition. Based on this study, it can be concluded that the Mantra belongs to the Javanese freely can be interpreted as a method or the concept expressed by the words and it was confirmed that Mantra has the invisible power and also it has been made as the penetration to solving the problems life.

Abstract

The negative public perception of the vaccination is one of the most important concerns that occur while dealing with Covid-19. This viewpoint is based on the belief that vaccinations include ingredients that are prohibited by religion making their usage not halal. This study investigates the benefits of vaccinations in the Covid-19 preventive measures from a theological and scientific standpoint. This study employs qualitative research methods. Primary and secondary data were gathered from a variety of sources, including literature, information media, and statistics data. This study discovered several findings applying the maqashid al-syari'ah theory as an analytical tool: First, vaccines are medical instruments that aim to strengthen the immune system so that it can increase immunity and reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission; Second, from the standpoint of social theology, the role of vaccines in protecting and preventing the body from transmitting Covid-19 is relevant to the dimensions of benefit found in maqashid al-syari'ah, one of which is the protection of the soul or self (hifzu al-Nafs); Third, the religious perspective plays a role in elucidating the reasons for the halal status of the Covid-19 vaccine from the standpoint of its value in social theology. In terms of science's viewpoint, it serves as a tool in articulating how the notion of self-preservation (hifzu al-Nafs) should be implemented through medical goods such as a vaccine.

Abstract

Abstrak Internasionalisasi pendidikan tinggi ke depan bukanlah suatu ironi. Tetapi realitas kekinian yang sudah semakin mengarahkan probability itu menjadi suatu kenyataan yang tanpa batas. Eksistensi dan suksesi perguruan tinggi di era liberalisasi ke depan sangat ditentukan oleh kuatnya kesiapan akademis dan kematangan infrastrukturnya untuk menjadi lebih „modern‟. Indonesia yang didukung oleh PTAI yang begitu besar haruslah menyiapkan perangkat kompetitif pendidikan tinggi Islam sedini mungkin sehingga ke depan PTAI di Indonesia memiliki good governonce system pendidikan tinggi yang unggul sehingga mampu berkompetisi di level nasional, bahkan internasional tanpa kehilangan Islamic morality character sebagai dasar aplikasinya. Asumsi itu setidaknya harus didukung oleh strategi pengembangan mutu sistem pendidikan tinggi Islam yang lebih baik; Pertama, manajemen pendidikan tinggi di perguruan tinggi agama Islam harus mampu berorientasi pada pengembangan mutu akademik berskala internasional sehingga academic and social needs untuk skala nasional dan regional sudah secara otomatis mampu dipenuhi. Kedua, aplikasi manajemen mutu harus didukung oleh good academic atmosphere sehingga upaya peningkatan mutu akademik dapat berjalan lebih cepat dan efektif. Ketiga, humanistic sense of diversity harus menjadi primary supporting PTAI dalam rangka internasionalisasi pendidikan Islam yang lebih humanis dan international academic networking yang luas untuk mendukung SDM dalam negeri menjadi lebih unggul, inovatif dan produktif. Kata kunci: Internasionalisasi Pendidikan, Strategi, dan PTAI Abstract The internationalization of higher education in the next time will not be an irony. But the reality of becoming chance had been directing it to the probability more faster to be reality without limits. The existence and success of higher education in the globalization era and liberalization of education in the future will be decided so much by the seatle of akademic and educational infrastructures preparation of the higher education. Indonesia that supporting by many Islamic higher educations (PTAI) should prepare its sets of competitive Islamic higher education equipment as early as possible for facing the future that Islamic higher education in Indonesia will has good governonce system of higher education to compete at national, more farther at international competition level without lossing Islamic morality character as its basic aplication. Supporting by established academic more better, the prospect of Islamic higher education in Indonesia, on the context of internationalization of education era will be able to survive for the next future. The asumtion also has to be supported by more better strategies for developing quality system of Islamic higher education; first, management of higher education at Islamic higher education (PTAI) should be able to concentrate for international academic quality development, so then the academic and social needs for national and regional level automatically derived. Second, aplication of quality management should be supported by good academic atmosphere implemented on the whole stakeholder’s commitment for achieving more better quality of Islamic higher education in the next future. Third, humanistic sense of diversity has to becoming primary supporting tool for Islamic higher education to face internationalization aplication more humanistic and large international academic networking for supporting Indonesia’s human resources becoming qualified, productive, inovative and competitive in all competition scales. Abstract

This article analyzes the need to internalize the values of Islamic education in sports. One of the sports that promotes Islamic values is Mahatma. Facts on the ground show that sports that develop in the midst of society today do not prioritize spiritual health only prioritizing physical health alone, while spiritual health also needs attention. So that this discussion is well directed, the authors focus the problem of discussion on how to internalize the values of Islamic education in Mahatma sports. The study was conducted at the Ministry of Religion in Padang, located at Jl. Duku No.5 Ujung Gurun, Padang Barat District Padang West Sumatra. The purpose of this study is to look at the efforts of sports participants in internalizing the value of Islamic education in every sports movement, it is necessary to have a detailed assessment of the stages of inculcation. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that is describing and interpreting objects as they are and analyzing them using scientific methods. Data collection by observation, direct interviews and documentation. The technique used in data analysis is data display, data reduction and conclusions carried out with snowballsampling techniques. The data validity technique uses source triangulation. The results showed that the internalization of Islamic education values for Mahatma sports members was through the establishment of rules of dress, ablution, reciting Istighfar, Al-Fatiah, praying, breathing, remembrance, blessing, friendly smile and the emergence of mutual forgiveness. Through internalization, the impact resulting from Mahatma's sport on health is not only physical health, it also increases gratitude, sincerity, serenity, and draws closer to Allah SWT. Constraints on the field were found that this sport does not yet have its own place as a sports center so that the implementation of the sport still hitched a ride in another agency, namely the Ministry of Religion and MTsN Model Padang City Keywords: nternalization, Islamic Education, and Mahatma Sports

Abstract

Abstract This study was aimed at determining the background of thought that underlies the education partnership in MAN Salatiga, the implementation of educational partnerships among the schools, parents, and social institutions in MAN Salatiga, and the impact of the partnerships among the schools, parents, and social institutions in the city Salatiga to improve the quality of schools, school culture, graduates, and parents. This type of research was a qualitative interpretive approach, which took place in MAN Salatiga, and community social institutions (Indonesian Red Cross, Indonesian National Sports Committee, Asmoro Budoyo Circle of Friends, Prana Shakti Jaka Tingkir Respiratory Self Defense College) in the city of Salatiga. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document study. The data were then analyzed by following the stages developed by Yin and Stake, namely the stage of holistic analysis, embedded analysis, analysis of themes, within case analysis, and cross case analysis. The results of the study show that MAN Salatiga sees the need to utilize various resources in the community to overcome various limitations in the implementation of education in order to meet the demands of the community. The development of educational partnerships in MAN Salatiga is supported by social capital which is influenced by the type of school, initiative and interest, parental circumstances, school policy and political participation. Education partnerships in MAN Salatiga affect the quality of the schools, graduates, and parents. Keywords: Partnership, School, and Community Social Institutions Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakang pemikiran yang mendasari kemitraan pendidikan di MAN Salatiga, pelaksanaan kemitraan pendidikan antara sekolah, orang tua, dan institusi sosial kemasyarakatan di MAN Salatiga, dan dampak kemitraan antara sekolah, orang tua, dan lembaga-lembaga sosial kemasyarakatan di kota Salatiga terhadap perbaikan kualitas sekolah, budaya sekolah, lulusannya, dan orang tua. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan interpretatif, yang mengambil lokasi di MAN Salatiga, dan lembaga sosial kemasyarakatan (Palang Merah Indonesia, Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia, Paguyuban Asmoro Budoyo, Perguruan Beladiri Pernafasan Prana Shakti Jaka Tingkir) di kota Salatiga. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan mengikuti tahapan yang dikembangkan oleh Yin and Stake, yaitu tahap holistic analysis, embedded analysis, analysis of theme, within case analysis, dan cross case analysis. Berdasarkan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan, bahwa MAN Salatiga memandang perlunya meman-faatkan berbagai sumber daya dalam masyarakat untuk mengatasi berbagai keterbatasan penyelenggaraan pendidikan dalam rangka memenuhi tuntutan kebutuhan masyarakat. Pengembangan kemitraan pendidikan di MAN Salatiga didukung oleh modal sosial yang dipengaruhi oleh jenis sekolah, inisiatif dan interest, keadaan orang tua, kebijakan sekolah dan partisipasi politik. Kemitraan pendidikan di MAN Salatiga mempengaruhi mutu sekolah, lulusan, dan orang tua. Kata Kunci : Kemitraan, Sekolah, dan Lembaga Sosial Kemasyarakatan

Abstract

Pemikiran Islam di Indonesia selalu berkembang seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dan perkembangan sosial masyarakat. Indonesia sebagai negara plural, baik dari sisi suku, ras, budaya, agama dan keyakinan ternyata memunculkan berbagai produk pemikiran yang plural pula. Bahkan pemikian keislaman di kalangan intelektual dan ulama pun cukup beragam. Salah satu corak pemikiran yang ikut mewarnai pemikiran Islam di Indonesia adalah Pemikiran Islam Liberal. Artikel ini bermaksud mengeksplorasi seketsa perkembangan pemikiran Islam Liberal di Indonesia. Tulisan ini berasal dari penelitian yang berasal dari data kepustakaan (library research) yang dianalisa dan dipaparkan secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan sejarah. Dari hasil analisa data disimpulkan bahwa munculnya Islam liberal di Indonesia sangat dipengaruhi oleh pemikiran liberal intelektua-intelektual Barat. Intelektual indonesia yang sempat belajar ke universitas-universitas ternyata membawa pengaruh pemikiran liberal Barat ke kancah pemikiran Islam di Indonesia. Pemikiran Islam Liberal di Indonesia sampai saat ini masih hidup, terutama setelah munculnya Jaringan Islam Liberal. In line with period and social society development are Islam thought in Indonesia.Indonesia as a plural nation, tribal, race, culture, religion, and believe a matter of fact emergence thought products which plural too. Moreover, Islamic thought is variety in intelectual circle and Muslim Scholar.The liberal of Islamic thought is one of the thought pattern which follow apply a color to Islam in Indonesia. This article aims to explore the liberal Islamic thought in developing vignette in Indonesia.This paper comes from research which comes from library research analized and explained as descriptive by using historical approach.From the result of data analysis concluded that emerging Liberal Islamic in Indonesia is very influence by Liberal intelectuals Western.Indonesia Intelectual have sufficient time to study in the universities be in fact brought the influence Western Liberal thought to hung by a thread Islamic thought in Indonesia.Liberal Islamic thought in Indonesia until this now still live, especially after coming Islamic Liberal network.

Abstract

AbstrakIslam adalah agama pembawa semangat reformasi bagi kaum perempuan. Islam juga telah memberikan fondasi terhadap kesetaraan lelaki dan perempuan dalam banyak dimensi kehidupan. Namun, perdebatan yang sering muncul adalah terkait dengan kepemimpinan perempuan dalam Islam. Dalam sejarahnya, wanita dipandang kurang cakap menjadi pemimpin karena umumnya mereka tidak memiliki akses ke dunia pendidikan. Namun demikian, Islam telah menempatkan wanita setara dengan laki-laki. Tidak ditemukan nash yang secara diametris atau langsung melarang wanita terlibat dalam kepmimpinan publik atau politik. Dalam konteks hukum Islam, sesuatu yang tidak dilarang secara jelas, tidak direkomendasikan, yang berarti bahwa perempuan dibolehkan memasuki arena kepemimpinan. Untuk itu, dapat dikatakan bahwa perempuan yang memiliki kemampuan untuk menjadi pemimpin, harus menjadi pemimpin. Sejarah telah mencatat beberapa perempuan yang memiliki kemampuan menjadi pemimpin. Islam is a religion that brings the spirit of reform related to women’s issues. Islam has been laying the foundations of equality between men and women in the various dimensions of life. One of the highlights for debate is the relationship with the leadership of women in Islam. According to the history, culture women are not considered to own ability to be a leader. This assumption because women have little or no access to education. Islam, however, puts women as whole human beings equal to men. There is no passage which is diametrically and straight forward prohibit women involved in the issue of leadership in the public domain or politics in general. In the study of Islamic law against things that are clearly not prohibited is also not recommended, it is permissible or allowed to enter the territory. Thus, it can be said that women who have capability to be a leader should be a leader. This notion can also be proven historically that some great women capable of becoming a leader.
