Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian dengan mengkaji potensi air limbah industri tahu (whey) menjadi suatu produk yang bernilai ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survey untuk mengidentifikasi produksi air limbah whey pada industri tahu dan dilanjutkan dengan eksperimen karakterisasi dan pengolahan air limbah whey dengan skala laboratorium. Air limbah whey diolah dengan menggunakan biodigester anaerob sarang lebah (Honeycomb Biodigester) dengan kapasitas 120 liter. Tahapan penelitian dengan melakukan pembuatan starter dari campuran kotoran sapi, air, dan air limbah whey (3:1:1) yang difermentasi selama 21 hari. Setelah starter memperlihatkan pertumbuhan mikroorganisme (MO) berada pada fase log, maka dilanjutkan dengan pengumpanan air limbah whey sebanyak satu liter setiap hari. Hasil yang diperoleh memperlihatkan bahwa air limbah whey mengandung protein 0,9482%, karbohidrat 0,4473% dan lemak 0,2186% yang merupakan substrat bagi MO. Pengolahan air limbah whey secara anaerob dengan menggunakan Honeycomb Biodigester menghasilkan biogas dengan nyala api merah biru (gas metana > 45%). Kemudian  slury Honeycomb Biodigester mengandung senyawa urea yang merupakan kandungan pupuk. Oleh karena itu, potensi pengolahan air limbah whey dapat menghasilkan energi terbarukan (biogas), pupuk organic cair dan padat dengan kandungan vitamin E dan  tiophospatoethyl aminohexylurea  (unsur N dan P) serta menjadi solusi dalam penaganan pencemaran lingkungan, sehingga tercipta industri yang berkelanjutan.  Kata kunci : Biogas, pupuk organic, sarang lebah, whey. ABSTRACTThe research aims to examine the potential of tofu industry wastewater (whey) to become a product of economic value for society. The research was carried out using a survey method to identify whey wastewater production in the tofu industry and continued with experiments on the characterization and processing of whey wastewater on a laboratory scale. Whey wastewater is processed using a honeycomb anaerobic biodigester with a capacity of 120 liters. The research stage involves making a starter from a mixture of cow dung, water, and whey wastewater (3:1:1) which is fermented for 21 days. After the starter shows that the growth of microorganisms (MO) is in the log, it is continued with one liter of whey wastewater every day. The results obtained show that whey wastewater contains protein 0,9482%,, carbohydrate0,4473%  and fat0,2186%  which is a substrate for MO. Anaerobic processing of whey wastewater using a honeycomb anaerobic biodigester produces biogas with a blue flame (methane gas > 45%). Then the Honeycomb biodigester slurry contains urea compounds which are fertilizer ingredients. Therefore, the potential for processing whey wastewater can produce renewable energy (biogas), liquid and solid organic fertilizer containing vitamin E and  thiophospatoethyl aminohexylurea (N and P elements) as well as being a solution for handling environmental pollution, thereby creating a sustainable.  Keywords: Biogas, organic fertilizer, Honeycomb, whey.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui luasan tingkat kesesuaian lahan aktual tanaman jahe gajah (zingebel officinale rosc). Ditemutunjukkan melalui evaluasi kesesuaian lahan dengan pendekatan satuanlahan (tumpangsusun peta penggunaan lahan, peta tanah, peta lereng, dan peta bentuklahan) menggunakan metode stratified random sample. Pengambilan contoh tanah dititik sampel, analisis data menggunakan metode matching. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik lahan bervariasi, beriklim basah; suhu udara berada pada 26,6°C; ketersediaan air sedang; media perakaran untuk drainase tanah mulai dari baik-agak terhambat; tekstur tanah dari lempung berdebu sampai liat; kedalaman efektif sedang sampai dalam; retensi hara untuk KTK tanah sedang sampai tinggi; pH tanah dari sangat asam sampai asam; kejenuhan basa dari 26 sampai 30; C-Organik sangat rendah-sedang; hara tersedia P2O5 (P tersedia) sedang sampai tinggi; K2O rendah sampai sedang; N-total 0,07 sampai 0,12% (rendah); potensi mekanismee untuk lereng dari datar, landai, agak landai, curam dan sangat curam; singkapan batuan tidak ada sampai sedang; batuan permukaan mulai dari tidak ada hingga banyak; dan bahaya erosi dari tidak ada sampai ada.   Kesesuaian lahan tanaman Jahe Gajah berada pada kelas kesesuaian lahan ada 4 sangat sesuai (S1), cukup sesuai (S2), sesuai marginal (S3). Agihan kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman Jahe  Gajah di Kecamatan Libureng diperoleh bahwa kesesuaian lahan S1 luasan lahan 4061,92 Ha. Kelas S2 (cukup sesuai) luasan lahan 23174,14 Ha. S3 (sesuai marginal) luasan lahan 5315,54Ha

Abstract

The aquaculture sector is a potential sector because it has long-term outputs with minimal risk. One of the best commodities in the aquaculture sector is seaweed. Indonesia, the world’s largest exporter of seaweed makes this commodity has an incridible value as gold. Furthermore, its high economic value and international trade potential solidify seaweed's nickname as 'green gold'.. Sulampua as the heart of seaweed producers should be able to maximize the potential of this commodity. The economic conditions of the fishing sector have been fluctuating over the last decade. A study of the blue economy is needed to maximize the potential of fishing potential commodities to accelerate economic growth sustainably. This research aims to look at a general view of the potential commodities of seaweed as green gold in the ocean of Sulampua. The variables used to measure seaweed's potential for economic growth in Sulampua are the value of seaweed production, the weight of seaweed production, the number of households in seaweed farming, and the amount of seaweed fishermen. The method used to analyze the impact of seaweed commodity variables on the economic growth of the fishing sector is panel data regression analysis with the Random Effect Model (REM). The selected model shows R-Squared value of 0,4470, which means that 44.70% of the model can explain the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The results show that the variables value of seaweed production and the weight of seaweed production has a significant impact on the economic growth of the fishing sector.

Abstract

Stunting adalah suatu kondisi yang menunjukkan adanya hambatan pertumbuhan yang bersifat kronis yang disebabkan oleh malanutrisi jangka   panjang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prevalensi  kejadian stunting pada balita yang dihubungkan dengan pola asuh ibu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cross sectional study. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan pengolahan data Statistical Package For Social Sciense (SPSS). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pola asuh ibu (responden) di Desa Tamalate Kecamatan Galesong Utara Kabupaten Takalar Tahun 2023, sebagian besar menganut pola asuh ibu dalam pemberian makan kategori demokratis yaitu 14(26,9%) responden, kategori otoriter sebanyak 11 (21,2%) responden, kategori permisif sebanyak 9 (17,3%) responden, dan kategori pengabaian sebanyak 18 (34,6%) responden. Sehingga prevalensi stunting pada balita responden di Desa Tamalate Kecamatan Galesong Utara Kabupaten Takalar Tahun 2023, sebagian besar mengalami stunting 43 (82,7%) responden. Terdapat hubungan pola asuh ibu dalam pemberian makan dengan prevalensi atau kejadian stunting pada balita di Desa Tamalate Kecamatan Galesong Utara Kabupaten Takalar Tahun 2023 (ρ 0,028; r 0,305).Kata kunci: Balita, Pola asuh ibu, Stunting, Galesong Utara.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest posttest control group design. This study aims to determine the influence of the guided inquiry learning model on the science process skills of students in class XI MIPA on motion systems material. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha, Southeast Sulawesi in 2022/2023 academic year. The study took XI MIPA 1 as experimental class and XI MIPA as the control class. Each class consisted of 30 students. Sample selection was done by random sampling. In the experimental class, the guided inquiry learning model was applied while in the control class was implemented direct instruction model. The results of the science process skills test using the t-test obtained t-count of 2.6837 and t-table at a significant level (α = 0.05) of 2.0484, so t-count > t-table. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the guided inquiry learning model on the science process skills of XI MIPA class students on motion systems material at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha, Southeast Sulawesi.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the use of enzymes in effective and efficient poultry feed formulations. The introduction highlights the importance of good nutrition for poultry and the increasing need for innovative feed formulations due to limited availability and rising prices of feed ingredients. Enzymes are introduced as protein compounds that enhance nutrient digestion and absorption in poultry, potentially reducing feed production costs. However, their widespread use in Indonesia is still limited due to a lack of knowledge. The paper discusses the role of enzymes in poultry nutrition, including their involvement in digestion and nutrient absorption. It also emphasizes the essential nutrients required for poultry growth and development and the factors influencing their nutritional needs. The types of enzymes commonly used in poultry feed formulations, such as phytase, amylase, protease, and lipase, are explored along with their mechanisms of action. Research findings demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of using enzymes in improving nutrient availability and feed efficiency, ultimately enhancing poultry production productivity and sustainability. The paper concludes with recommendations for the development and application of enzymes in poultry feed formulations, highlighting the need for careful enzyme selection, dosage adjustment, and consideration of environmental conditions. Furthermore, the importance of integrating enzymes with other feed ingredients and adopting a comprehensive nutrition strategy is emphasized. Overall, the use of enzymes in poultry feed formulations offers significant advantages for modern poultry farming, but careful implementation and further research are necessary to optimize their effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract

The education enrollment rate is crucial for Indonesia to improve its human resources and sustain its economic development. In reality, the dropout student rate is still relatively high. Previous research has highlighted several factors and models related to the dropout student rate in Indonesia. The purpose of the study is to identify the most popular statistical modeling and factors influencing school dropout in Indonesia. We searched in February 2023 using ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and Google Scholar. The search was restricted to refereed journal articles published in English from January 2013 to December 2022. This study underwent four stages: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. The study finds that the most popular statistical modeling is the Logistic Regression Model, and the most significant factor increasing the school dropout rate in Indonesia is family and economic factors. The findings suggest that children who were not attending school came from families with lower levels of education. The well-being of these families was directly linked to their children's educational status. The primary reasons for young students dropping out of elementary and junior schools include an inability to pay school fees and a desire to work on farms to support their parents.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics connects cultural practices with mathematical concepts, offering an engaging learning approach for students. This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 178 articles from the Google Scholar database (2012 2022) to explore the relationship between traditional cultural activities and the concept of numbers. It focuses on cultural elements such as Maggurecceng, Engklek, and Sayyang Pattudu, revealing how these traditional games can enhance students’ understanding of number concepts, such as addition, multiplication, and numerical comparisons. The findings highlight the potential of ethnomathematics to foster mathematical abilities through culturally relevant learning activities, thereby promoting both mathematical comprehension and cultural appreciation in educational contexts. This review emphasizes the integration of culture into mathematics education as a tool for improving learning outcomes, particularly in developing numerical literacy.

Abstract

Tangerang is counted among Indonesia's fastest-growing industries and population since it is located near the capital. At the current rate of population growth, the population by 2035 is expected to reach more than 2 million by appliying the geometric method. Rapid population growth has severe environmental damage. A simple linear regression calculation was applied to predict the Tangerang waste generation and it is expected to grow to 1,57 million tonnes by 2035. The Pearson's correlation was used to examine the impact of population growth in Tangerang on waste generation. Overall, there is a positive correlation between population growth and waste generation. The increase in the amount of waste can affect the formation of leachate. Rawa Kucing is the main Tangerang landfill that implements an open dumping system in its waste management. One of the negative impacts of the open dumping system is the potential for leachate generation. This study performed a simple calculation of leachate volume to illustrate leachate generation in Rawa Kucing. The more leachate produced, the greater the level of contamination since it contains highly toxic components, and it will escape from the Rawa Kucing landfill, contaminating the groundwater, potentially polluting the environment and harming human health.

Abstract

The current climate change is when the Earth's temperature increases due to increased greenhouse gas concentrations. The increase in greenhouse gasses has the potential to change the global climate system, one of which can impact changes in rainfall patterns. As a result, changes occur in various aspects of the planet, especially the atmosphere's composition, which can affect life on Earth. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of rainfall changes in East Nusa Tenggara Province during the 1971-2020 period. The data used is ERA5 reanalysis data in the form of daily rainfall with a spatial resolution of 0.25° X 0.25° for 50 years in East Nusa Tenggara Province for the period 1971-2020. The results of the analysis show that rainfall in East Nusa Tenggara Province has decreased from 1971-2020, with monthly and seasonal averages per period. The highest average monthly rainfall occurred in period 1 (1971-2000), with an average value of 137,491 mm, while the lowest value occurred in period 3 (1991-2020), with an average value of 125,242 mm. The highest average seasonal rainfall occurred in period 1 (1971-2000) of the DJF season, with an average of 757.19 mm, while the lowest value occurred in period 3 (1991-2020) of the SON season, with an average of 143.69 mm.
