Abstract

This study discusses the improvement of learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education through the application of the simulation learning method for SELUMA 114 Elementary School students. This study aims to determine: 1). How to apply the simulation learning method in Islamic Religious Education lessons for SDN 114 SELUMA students, 2). What are the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education for students of SDN 114 SELUMA, 3). How to increase the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education through the application of the simulation learning method for SDN 114 SELUMA students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of two cycles with three meetings and one evaluation. Research procedures include planning, implementing observation and evaluation and reflection. The results showed that of the first cycle of 42 students, only 36 met the Maximum Completeness Criteria (KKM), classically not fulfilled because the average score was 70.00, or in the low category. Where in cycle II of the 42 students there were 40 students who met the Maximum Completeness Criteria (KKM) and classically had been fulfilled, namely the average value of 90.00 or was in a high category

Abstract

Writing English academic writing is still the most specter constraint for all over Indonesian EFL college students. These is caused by the complexities of academic writing containing mechanics, vocabulary, content, organization, grammar and sentence structure, as well as writing steps; planing, drafting, editing, and revising which makes it challenges. Another reason why writing academic essay is challanges for students is that the characteristics of academic writing are clear, concise, focussed, structured and backed up by evidence. Its purpose is to aid the reader's understanding. It has a formal tone and style. Process Genre-Based Approach (PGBA) is a problem shooter offered to overcome the students’ problem. The purpose of the study was to determine whether the ability of the fourth semester students of Class D of the English Education Study Program of the Foreign Language Academy of Indonesian Development in writing English essays through the Application of the Process Genre-Based Approach (PGBA) would increase or not. The design of this research is pre-experimental-one group pretest posttest. The population is semester IV (even) students for the academic year 2021/2022. The research sample is class students who are determined by using the total sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests: pretest (Pretest) and final test (Posttest). The treatment was carried out 6 times. The results of the data were analyzed statistically. The results showed that the posttest average score (70.7) was greater than the pretest average (55.67). This indicates that the semester students' ability to write English essays through the Application of the Process Genre-Based Approach (PGBA) increased. The results of this study are very useful for: (1) students to improve their essay writing skills; (2) teachers (lecturers) to add an approach to learning to write essays through PGBA with (a) preparation stages; (b) modeling and reinforcing; (c) planning; (d) joint construction; (e) independent constructing; and (f) revising. (3) English lecturers and teachers can conduct classroom action research using PGBA.

Abstract

The relationship between the straw learning media and the learning outcomes of math multiplication for class III A students at SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa Bandar Lampung City. This study aims to describe whether there is an impact of straw learning media on the learning outcomes of mathematic calculations for class III A students at SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa Bandar Lampung City. The results of the researcher’s survey found that the results of students multiplication learning were still low. The method used in this study was quantitative with a pre-experimental method in the from of a one group pretest-posttest desigen. The population in this study were third grade students at SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa. The sample of this research is 20 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, using tests, documentation, data analysis techniques and using the t-test. The results of the study are shown by the results of the t-tes (paired sample 1 test) for the same sample with diffrent treatment (pretest-postest) by producing a t count of 11.427 and a table of 1,725. Which proves that there is an influence of straw learning media on results learn math multiplication.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reading interest on the learning outcomes of second-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Merbau Mataram, South Lampung. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Merbau Mataram, South Lampung, Merbau Mataram District, South Lampung Regency for the academic year 2021/2022. This study uses a quantitative method with the type of pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design which is used to determine the effect of a treatment on research subjects. The samples in this study were all students of class II SD Negeri 2 Merbau Mataram South Lampung, totaling 33 students. The data of this study were obtained from the pretest and post-test scores, with 15 multiple-choice instruments as the instrument. The results of hypothesis testing obtained the value of tcount≥ttable, namely 2.6889 2.042. Then Ho is accepted which means there is an influence interest in reading on the learning outcomes of students in class II Merbau Mataram, South Lampung.

Abstract

Optimalisasi kompetensi guru dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) merupakan salah satu upaya yang perlu terus dikembangkan. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan bimbingan secara berkelanjutan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru menyusun RPP Bahasa Inggris melalui bimbingan berkelanjuta. Metode Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan dengan model Stepen Kemnis, Strategi Kerja Praktek dengan Teknik Bimbingan Berkelanjutan, dirancang dalam 2 (dua) siklus. Hasil penelitian membuktikan terjadinya peningkatan motivasi dan kompetensi guru guru dalam menyusun RPP Bahasa Inggris meningkat dari 77,6% pada siklus 1 menjadi 88,8% pada siklus 2. Kesimpulannya adalah Bimbingan berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

This study discusses the utilization of information technology-based learning media in increasing students' interest in learning at MTs Negeri Bengkulu City, this study aims to determine the utilization of information technology-based learning media in increasing students' interest in learning. The method used in the research uses a qualitative approach, while the research subjects are subject matter teachers who utilize information technology-based learning media in the learning process at MTs Negeri Bengkulu City, while the data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study found that, First, the implementation of learning by utilizing information technology-based learning media provides very good things, especially in terms of more practical learning utilization, more optimal time utilization and easier and varied material utilization. So that students are very enthusiastic in the learning process. Second, the utilization of information technology media has a positive impact on the learning process of students in increasing interest in learning in the learning process. Besides being fun, it can also generate motivation, enthusiasm in participating in learning in Madrasah. Third, from the results of interviews and observations made to students, by utilizing information technology-based learning media there is an increase in students' interest in learning. Learners are very motivated in participating in learning. The enthusiasm that arises in students because the materials and media used are more interesting, more active, effective and more varied learning.

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of use of media in the YouTube-based learning process with student learning outcomes in science on the theme of the organs of movement of animals and humans in class V SD Negeri 1 Cakat Raya Tulang Bawang. This study aims to describe whether there is an effect of YouTube-based learning media on students' science learning outcomes on the theme of animal and human movement organs in class V SD Negeri 1 Cakat Raya Tulang Bawang. The survey results of the researchers found that students' science learning outcomes were still low. The method used in this study was quantitative with a pre-experimental method by design of a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was students of class V SD Negeri 1 Cakat Raya Tulang Bawang. The research sample consisted of 24 students. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique uses tests, documentation, data analysis techniques and uses a t-test.The results of the study are shown by the results of the t-test (paired sample t test) for the same sample with different treatment (pretest-posttest) with a t count of 12.503 and a t table of 1.711. learn science students on the theme of the organs of movement of animals and humans.

Abstract

The relationship between the SAVI learning model (somatic, auditory, visualization, intellectualy) and scainse learning outcomes for fourth grade student at SD Negeri 2 Trimulyo, Tanjung Bintang District, South Lampung Selatan. This study aims to describe whether there is an influence of the SAVI learning model (somatic, auditory, visualization, intellectualy) and scainse learning outcomes for fourth grade student at SD Negeri 2 Trimulyo, Tanjung Bintang District, South Lampung Selatan. The survey results show that student learning outcomes are still low. This type of research is quantitave with pre-experimental in the form of one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were fourth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Trimulyo. The sampel for this study consisted of 24 students. Data collection techinques using tests, documentation, data analysis techniques, and by using the t-test. The results of the study are shown by the results of the t-test (paired sample t test) for the same sample with different treatment (pretest-posttest) with a tcount of 12,477 with a Sig (2-tailed) level of 0,000 < 0.05 which proves that there is an influence of the learning model SAVI  (somatic, auditory, visualization, intellectualy) on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of the power of two strategy on social studies learning outcomes for students of SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa, Bandar Lampung City. This study aims to describe whether there is an effect of using the power of two strategy on social studies learning outcomes for SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa students in Bandar Lampung. The survey results of the researchers found that social studies learning outcomes for students were still low. The method used in this research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method with a Pretest-Posttest Design with Noneequivalent Group. The population in this study was class V SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa, Bandar Lampung city. The research sample was 38 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using observation, testing, documentation, data analysis techniques and using the t-test.   The results of this study indicate an increase in the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa, Bandar Lampung city. This is shown by the results of the t-test (paired sample t test) which produces a sig value. 2 tailed < 0.05. From the posttest value of the control class and the posttest of the experimental class, it shows a large influence of 41% which is included in the sufficient category. Based on the results of the study, there is an influence of the power of two learning strategy on student social studies learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of conditions related to the early mathematical ability is still low. Therefore it is necessary an effort to improve the mathematical ability of children in group B in TK Xaverius Kalianda. This study aims to know that the use of concrete media in learning can improve early mathematical ability in children group B in TK Xaverius Kalianda. This study is a classroom action research consisting of four stages namely, planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. At the beginning of observation of early group math ability in TK Xaverius Kalianda still not developed, as indicator of low early child mathematics ability in kindergarten, this can be seen from 15 children of group B which have progressed development especially in the case of early mathematics only 3 children or 20%, and the rest as many as 12 children or 80% have not been able to develop properly. After the reflection through the use of concrete media there is an increase. The results of this study indicate that through the utilization of concrete media can improve the early mathematical ability of the previously not developed at the time of pre-survey to start developing in the first cycle reached 72% and developed as expected in the second cycle reached 82%. Thus the method of utilizing concrete media can be one of the methods or ways that can be used in learning, especially in improving early math skills.
