Abstract

Learning media is an information medium for teaching and learning activities so that it can provide effectiveness and interactivity in learning. The research objective in writing this is to determine the effect of animated media on student learning outcomes in science subjects for fourth grade students at SDN 1 Poncowati, Terbanggi Besar District, Central Lampung Regency. This study uses a type of quantitative research. With a quasi-experimental approach. The population in this study were all students of class IV B and class IV C of SDN 1 Poncowati, Terbanggi Besar District, Central Lampung Regency. The instruments used are test and non-test. using independent simple t-test hypothesis testing. This data collection technique uses observation, test and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that the value of learning outcomes obtained after applying animation media to the experimental class has increased compared to the class that was not given treatment, namely animation media. This can be seen from the mean or average value of the experimental class, namely 79.93 with 96.6% completeness. And there is a significant influence between Animation Media on student learning outcomes. In this study researchers. This assessment results in a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.014 <0.05, which means 0.014 is smaller than 0.05. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is an influence of animation media on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD N 1 Poncowati, Terbanggi Besar District, Central Lampung Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school principals in efforts to improve the quality of school management. The role of the school principal is a critical factor in achieving quality education goals. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with the type of research design is a case study, data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Respondents to this study were school principals and teaching staff at Sukamenak 08 Public Elementary School, Bandung Regency. The results of the study show that school principals have an important role in improving the quality of school management, principals play the role of leaders, decision makers, communicators, supervisors, and staff developers. Through his leadership the principal provides direction and motivation to the teaching staff to improve the quality of teaching. In addition, the principal also supervises the learning process and provides guidance to teachers who need it. This research also identified some limitations. First, this research was conducted in a limited number of schools, so generalization of research findings needs to be done with caution. Second, this research is limited to data obtained from observation, interviews, and document analysis, so there is a possibility of bias in the interpretation of the data.

Abstract

The teacher's competencies are as follows: 1) Paedagogic Competence, is the teacher's understanding of students, designing and implementing learning, evaluating learning outcomes and developing students to actualize their various potentials. 2) Personal competence, is a personal ability that reflects a solid, stable, mature, wise and authoritative personality and becomes a role model for students and has noble character. 3) Social Competence, is the teacher's ability to communicate and interact effectively with students, fellow educators, educational staff, parents/guardians of students and the surrounding community. 4) Professional Competence, competency in mastering learning material broadly and in depth which includes mastery of curriculum subject matter in schools and the scientific substance that overshadows the material. Competency development efforts are the ability of a teacher to carry out obligations in a responsible and appropriate manner to achieve effective and efficient learning outcomes. Efforts to develop teacher competence are as follows: 1) certification program, 2) increasing teacher competency and professionalism, 3) participating in teacher upgrading, 4) attending teacher deliberations in subject areas, 5) attending courses, and 6) increasing knowledge through mass media or the media electronic.

Abstract

This article explores the impact of the development of the National Capital City (IKN) on the primate population in East Kalimantan. The main problem discussed was the need to protect the natural habitat of primates which is threatened due to infrastructure and housing development which destroys natural ecosystems. The aim of this research is to highlight the importance of protecting biodiversity and considering conservation issues in the planning and implementation of IKN development in the region. The method used in this research is literature study. The literature study method is a series of activities related to library data collection methods, from journals, books, mass media that support the writing of this article. This article focuses on previous research that describes threats to the survival of primates in East Kalimantan due to the destruction of their natural habitat. The research results show that the development of IKN in East Kalimantan has serious implications for primate populations, including species listed as threatened or vulnerable. This analysis emphasizes the need for effective conservation strategies and the implementation of regional planning that considers the development of wildlife corridors and protected areas to ensure the survival of primate populations and maintain the balance of the ecosystem in the region. In conclusion, this article encourages greater awareness of the need to protect natural primate habitats as well as the need for collaboration between the government, conservation institutions and other related parties to implement sustainable and environmentally friendly development plans in the East Kalimantan IKN area. This conclusion emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balance between economic development and environmental conservation to ensure the continuity of a balanced and sustainable ecosystem in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

Mural analysis as a means of character education at an early age is an effective and creative effort. Murals, paintings or paintings on walls, can teach positive values and character to children. This article outlines how murals can be used in character education, including teaching positive values, providing real examples, developing creativity, strengthening school identity, addressing social problems, and enhancing independence. A mural drawing on the theme "Developing Good Character in a Beautiful World" is presented as an example of visual concepts. The steps of development and implementation of murals, including character values selection, concept design, collaboration with children, and evaluation, are described in detail. Mural evaluation as a character education medium involves observation, child feedback, classroom discussions, interviews with teachers and staff, as well as parental involvement. The evaluation steps include initial target identification, observation of children's actions, safety evaluation and mural care, quotation and description studies, and follow-up to improvements. Periodic evaluation is required to ensure the effectiveness of murals in creating a learning environment that supports the development of positive character of children.

Abstract

Students perceptions of mathematics lessons will definitely vary because they are closely related to the characteristics of each individual student. In general, students who hold positive perceptions of mathematics tend to achieve high or above-average learning outcomes, while those with negative perceptions are likely to achieve low or below-average learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to analyze and test the relationship between students' perceptions of mathematics, especially among class VI students at SD Negeri 03 Gumay Ulu. The subjects of this research were students in classes VI at SD Negeri 03 Gumay Ulu during the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Faktor Linearitas Keluarga Terhadap Kependidikan Agama Islam Siswa SMP Negeri 3 Ujan Mas Kabupaten Kepahiang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif artinya diperoleh sesuai kejadian di lapangan. Sumber data primer adalah orang tua siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 03 di Hujan Mas Kabupaten Kepahiang berjumlah 19 orang. Sumber data skunder dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 03 di Hujan Mas Kabupaten Kepahiang berjumlah 19 orang. Kesimpulan Penelitian ini: 1. Peran orang tua dalam Pendidikan agama islam Siswa SMP Negeri 3 Ujan Mas Kabupaten Kepahiang, dapat disimpulkan orangtua sebagai motivasi, sebagai pengawasan dan orangtua sebagai panutan., 2. Faktor penghambat peran orang tua dalam pendidikan agama Orang tua dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam Siswa SMP Negeri 3 Ujan Mas Kabupaten Kepahiang yaitu faktor keadaan keluarga, faktor lingkungan, dan faktor perhatian orang tua terhadap anak. Namun ada juga faktor penghambat peran orang tua dalam membina agama yaitu faktor kurangnya pengetahuan orangtua dalam pengetahuan tentang pendidikan agama, lingkungan pergaulan dan keterbatasan waktu orangtua bersama anak

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the types of oral feedback of the English teachers in the teaching and learning process and the reasons for the teachers in giving oral feedback in the learning process. This research is descriptive. In collecting the data, the teachers were observed and video and audio recording came as tools. To investigate the reason of the teachers, the data collected use Stimulated Recall Interview (SRI). The findings of the research, there are 6 sub-types of oral feedback used by the teachers that are recast, elicitation, clarification request, commenting, repetition, and praise. The second finding about reasons for teacher in giving oral feedback are oral feedback is needed in the class, the teachers’ attention to the students, the teachers want to correct the students’ mistake and their performance, keeping the interaction with the students, motivating the students and appreciating the students’ performance.

Abstract

The project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila youth or P5 is an interdisciplinary learning that aims to observe and think about solutions to problems in the surrounding environment. Madrasah Aliyah Al Furqon Bugul Lor is also one of those who implement it, researchers who happen to practice teaching there are involved in every P5 project activity with the theme of entrepreneurship by utilizing surrounding ingredients which are local wisdom such as making a refreshing and healthy drink "turmeric star fruit wulu" , "moringa leaf powder", "making ecobricks", "making ice cream", application of P5 with a democracy theme through the election of the osim chairman, application of P5 with the theme of love for the country through commemoration of santri day, teacher's day and heroes' day, application of P5 with the theme mutual cooperation through clean Fridays, implementation of P5 with the theme of faith and devotion through congregational prayers, istghosah, and pilgrimages to auliya' graves. In principle, the implementation of P5 at Madrasah Aliyah Al Furqon involves all school components starting from the teaching board, students and female students. The effectiveness of implementing P5 at MA Al Furqon Bugul Lor is very interesting to carry out research so that it can be an example for other private schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of short story writing ability of grade XI students of SMK Nurulhuda Buaymaadang Sukaraja. The purpose to be achieved in this study is to describe the effect of using Aidio Visual media on the ability to write short stories on the theme of Islamic boarding school students in class XI of SMK Nurul Huda BuayMadang. This research was conducted in August 2024 at SMK Nurul huda Buay madang Sukaraja. In this study, the research objectives were the XI grade students of SMK Nurulhuda Buaymaadang Sukaraja. Data collection in this study was observation, tests and documentation. The research method used is pre experimental design. A one group before-after plan (one group pretest-postest design) data analysis technique that uses validity test, reliability test, normality test and hypothesis test (t test). in this study using one class, namely class XI Accounting with a sample of 22 students. From the research results obtained data on the experimental class pretest average value of 75.5 and the posttest average value of 80.2. The paired sample t-test results obtained a significance value of 0.081 <0.05 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained, it is concluded that learning by using Audio Visual media can have an influence on the ability to write short stories of class XI students of SMK Nurulhuda Buay madang Sukaraja.
