Abstract

The research aimed to find out: (1) On the Job Training implementation program  in Vocational High School 1 Karanganyar,  (2) readiness to  enter the world of work in Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era after implementation On the Job Training of students expertise competence Office Management Automation of Vocational High School 1 Karanganyar, (3) the constraints and solutions on implementation On the Job Training in preparing students to enter the world of work in Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era. This study is a descriptive qualitative research. There data source obtained from informant, place and event, as well as archive and document. The sampling techniques employed were purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Techniques of collecting data used were interview, observation, and documentation. The data validation was carried out using source and method triangulations. Techniques of analiyzing data used was an interactive model of analaysis. The result of research obtains (1) On the Job Training implementation in Vocational High School 1 Karanganyar going well and has positive role in preparing students to enter the world of work in industrial revolution 4.0 era. (2) Students readiness to enter the world of work in Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era after implementation of On the Job Training seen from compentencies needed such as IT knowledge and abilities, data and information processing and analytics, trust, self and time management, adabtability skills, follow the development of technology and want to learn, and communication skills (3) Implementation constraints such as the place less support skills needed on the world of work in Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era, distance of students place with On the Job Training location, incompatibility the type of  job that exists in the industrial world, discrepancy between the school and the industrial world, and difficulty on implementation a job in industrial world, while the solutions is location selection On the Job Training implementation, displacement On the Job Training location, synchronize curriculum and competencies, exploratory, and mentoring by teacher and the preceptor instructor

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether or not there is (1) the influence of the teachers’ pedagogical competence on the learning outcomes; (2) the influence of students’ communication competence on the learning outcomes; (3) the influence of teacher’s pedagogical competence and students’ communication competence on the learning outcomes. This study used a saturated sampling technique or census because the population was less than 100 students, so the samples in this study were all students of grade XI of Office Administration Expertise Program of State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta, which involved 95 students in total. The result of the study were as follows (1) there was an influence of the teacher’s pedagogical competence on the learning outcome of Public Relation Administration and Protocol Course based on the value of rcount > rtable which was 0.523 >0.202; (2) the was an influence of students’ communication competence on the learning outcomes of Public Relation Administration and Protocol Course based on the value of rcount > rtable which was 0.400 > 0.202; (3) there was an influence of the teacher’s pedagogical competence and student’s communication competence in the learning outcomes of Public Relation Administration and Protocol Course based on the value of Fcount > Ftable which is 20.978 > 3.095. The contribution of the teacher’s pedagogical competence and student’s communication competence to the learning outcomes of Public Relation Administration and Protocol Course was 31.3%.

Abstract

Abstrak tPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya: (1) Pengaruh kerja paruh waktu terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa FKIP UNS, (2) Pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa FKIP UNS. , (3) Pengaruh kerja paruh waktu dan motivasi belajar bersama. terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa FKIP UNS.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis statistik regresi berganda dan uji signifikansi. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kerja paruh waktu dan motivasi belajar, sedangkan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah prestasi belajar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa FKIP UNS angkatan 2017, dan sampel penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa FKIP UNS angkatan 2017 yang sedang menempuh studi sambil bekerja, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive random sampling, sehingga terlihat bahwa sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. penelitian berjumlah 94 responden / mahasiswa yang ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada taraf signifikan 5%: (1) terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara pekerjaan paruh waktu terhadap prestasi belajar, artinya jika tingkat pekerjaan paruh waktu meningkat maka prestasi belajar akan meningkat. menurun, (2) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar, artinya jika tingkat motivasi belajar meningkat maka prestasi belajar juga akan meningkat, (3) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara kerja paruh waktu dan belajar. motivasi terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa FKIP UNS.Kata Kunci : Kerja Paruh Waktu , Motivasi Belajar, Prestasi Belajar

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to determine the implementation of archives in the General Section of the Regional Secretariat of Surakarta City. This study is a descriptive qualitative study employing a case study technique. The study was carried out in the Surakarta City Regional Secretariat's General Section. Purposive sampling was a technique for taking samples. Observation, interviewing, and document analysis were used to compile data. Check the accuracy of the data obtained through source and method triangulation. The data analysis technique included interactive model data analysis.The result of this study reveal that: 1) The implementation of archives in the General Section of the Surakarta City Regional Secretariat which uses an active dynamic archive management system which includes the creation stage such as receipt and recording of records, the using stage such as archive arrangement and archive storage, archive maintenance and caring, and depreciation stages such as moving archives that are already running quite well, 2) The implementation of archives in the General Section of the Regional Secretariat of Surakarta City is exist some problems like as lacking of human resources in the field of correspondences and lacking of archival supporting infrastructure, and 3) Conducting to solve some problems be found in the General Section of the Regional Secretariat of Surakarta City such as planning of increasing human resources and budgeting for facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi; (2) pengaruh lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi; dan (3) pengaruh sosial ekonomi orang tua dan lingkungan teman sebaya secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh yang berjumlah 53 siswa yaitu kelas XI OTKP 1 dan 2. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi (thitung = 2,92, sign < 0,05), (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi (thitung = 4,25, sign < 0,05), dan (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan sosial ekonomi orang tua lingkungan teman sebaya secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi (fhitung = 13,87, sign < 0,05). Persamaan regresi linier Ŷ = -6,93 + 0,95X1 + 1,11X2. Sumbangan efektif pada penelitian ini secara bersama-sama sebesar 36% dan sisanya sebesar 64% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pola belajar di masa pandemi COVID-19 mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran FKIP UNS, 2) dampak dari penerapan pola belajar di masa pandemi COVID-19, 3) hambatan dan upaya dalam penerapan pola belajar di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive snowball sampling dengan Kepala Prodi PAP sebagai key informan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pola belajar di masa pandemi COVID-19 sebagian besar menggunakan pola belajar digital. (2) Penerapan pola belajar di masa pandemi COVID-19 memiliki dampak positif dan negatif. (3) Hambatan antara lain: (a) koneksi internet yang tidak stabil, (b) lingkungan kurang mendukung/bising, (c) kurangnya komunikasi dua arah, (d) pemborosan kuota internet, (e) pembuatan media pembelajaran yang memerlukan banyak waktu dan tenaga dari dosen, (f) penyampaian materi yang kurang maksimal terutama untuk mata kuliah praktik. Upaya mengatasi hambatan antara lain: (a) pemberian bantuan kuota belajar oleh Kemdikbud, (b) melakukan perekaman proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The research aims to determine: 1) the effect of the school literacy movement on student achievement at Vocational High School 1 Karanganyar; 2) the effect of self-confidence on student learning achievement at Vocational High School 1 Karanganyar; 3) the effect of the school literacy movement and self-confidence simultaneously on student achievement at Vocational High School 1 Karanganyar. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational description method. The population of this study was all students of grade XI the Office Management Automation department at Vocational High School 1 Karanganyar. The sample technique used a total sampling as many as 72 students. Data were collected using questionnaires and documents. The data were analyzed using multiple regression (sign 0,05). The results of the study show that 1) there is a positive and significant effect of school literacy movement on student learning achievement indicated tcount > ttable (2,06 > 1,99); 2) there is a positive and significant effect of self-confidence on student learning achievement indicated tcount > ttable (4,25> 1,99); 3) there is a positive and significant effect of the school literacy movement and self-confidence simultaneously on student learning achievement indicated Fcount > Ftable (15,61> 3,13) and the determinant (R2) is 0,31 or 31%. Based on the findings, it could be suggested  that the school could provide information regarding the importance of reading and stimulate students continually in increasing self-confidence.

Abstract

The research was to find out there is or not: 1) the effect of self concept towards learning achievement on automation and finance administration; 2) the effect of self-motivated learning towards learning achievement on automation and finance administration; 3) the effect of self concept and self-motivated learning towards learning achievement on automation and finance administration.This research used quantitative research with a correlational research design. The population in this research were all students of class XI Automation and Office Administration at SMK Negeri 1 Klaten in the academic year 2018/2019 which amounted to 108 students. The sample in this research taken with proportional random sampling technique which amounted to 84 students. Data source from teacher and students. The data collection technique used questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS 23.0 program. The result of research showed that 1) there was a significant positive effect of self concept toward learning achievement on automation and finance administraiton (tcount = 4,4801, sign < 0,05); 2) there was a significant positive effect of self-motivated learning toward learning achievement on automation and finance administration (tcount = 4,326, sign < 0,05); 3) there was a significant positive effect of self concept and self-motivated learning toward learning achievement on automation and finance administration (Fcount = 48,654, sign < 0,05). This result of research showed the amount of effective contribution together equal to 54,6% and the rest still 45,4% which effected by other variables which not entered in this research.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII jurusan otomatisasi dan tata kelola perkantoran SMK Tamansiswa Sukoharjo Angkatan 2020/2021; (2) pengaruh motivasi memasuki dunia kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII jurusan otomatisasi dan tata kelola perkantoran SMK Tamansiswa Sukoharjo Angkatan 2020/2021; dan (3) pengaruh praktik kerja industri dan motivasi memasuki dunia kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII jurusan otomatisasi dan tata kelola perkantoran SMK Tamansiswa Sukoharjo Angkatan 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan data primer berupa nilai praktik kerja industri siswa dan angket untuk memperoleh data motivasi memasuki dunia kerja siswa dan kesiapan kerja siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode sampel jenuh dimana digunakan keseluruhan siswa kelas XII jurusan otomatisasi dan tata kelola perkantoran SMK Tamansiswa Sukoharjo Angkatan 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan mengambil data sekunder berupa nilai prakerin siswa dan data primer menggunakan angket dengan skala likert yang diwujudkan melalui google form guna mempermudah pengumpulan data. Analisis data menggunakan Uji t untuk menguji secara parsial masing-masing variabel. Digunakan analisis regresi dengan SPSS 22.0 dengan melihat tabel t pada nilai regression linier dengan taraf signifikasi 0,05. Selanjutnya juga digunakan Uji F atau Uji ANOVA untuk menetahui pengaruh dua variabel independen secara bersama-sama terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa praktik kerja industri tidak berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa (thitung= -1,308 < ttabel= 2,039) dengan nilai Sumbangan Efektif (SE) sebesar 3,34%. Motivasi memasuki dunia kerja berpengaruh secara pesitif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa (thitung= 5,793 > ttabel= 2,039) dengan Sumbangan Efektif (SE) sebesar 50,76%. Sehingga diperoleh total Sumbangan Efektif dari kedua variabel independen adalah 54,1%. Praktik kerja industri dan motivasi memasuki dunia kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa (Fhitung= 18,256 > Ftabel= 3,30) kelas XII jurusan Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran SMK Tamansiswa Sukoharjo Angkatan 2020/2021.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in activeness and critical thinking capability of the students who were participated in the Leadership course by applying the Debate method. The study design consists of two main cycles (cycle I, and cycle II), each cycle research steps include planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting process. The Data collection methods used are observation, and documentation; the percentage descriptive method used as data analysis technique. The research findings explained by using three research steps, those are initial observation, observation using Cycle I, and observation using Cycle II. The initial observation (pre-cycle) found that student activity was very low. From 38 students observed, only 3 students asked for questions, or only 8% who were active, while other students were passive, by just listened to the lecturer’s explanations. The target for student activity is 75% from the total observed students. In addition to student activeness, this study also aimed to find out the ability of critical thinking of the students. In the Cycle I, the student activity has increased to 27 people or 71% of the total observed students. In the debating group, found if the pro group have 8 active students and in the contra group have 9 active students, while the listening group or observer group have 10 students who submit their opinions. In the Cycle II, there were more active students, because in this cycle the groups conducting more intense debate which involved another students, then the class became more active. In the pro group, there were 9 active students and the contra group increasing to 11 active students, while the observer group reached 12 active students, so there were 32 active students or 84% from total students observed. Based on the research findings, concluded that the student activity increased slightly through implementation of the debate method. The activity occurs gradually from cycle I to cycle II. In learning process, when applying the debate method in the Leadership course, the students are seen to be very active and shows the critical thinking capabilities, ranging from student self-skill, explaining skill, interpreting skill, analyzing skill, evaluating skill in order to draw the conclusions.
