Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the activeness improvement of the X grade office management students in the archival subject in SMK Kristen Surakarta by applying the cooperative learning model with Question Student Have type. This research is included as a classroom action research (CAR). It was conducted in 2 research cycles, each cycle consists of 4 steps, which are: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data analysis was done by using the comparative descriptive analysis technique and critical analysis. The procedure of the research includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that through the application of learning model Question Student Have type can enhance the students’ activeness. The total improvement of students’ activeness covering 7 indicators of visual activities, listening activities, writing activities, motor activities, mental activities, emotional activities, and oral activities was 71.87% in which on pre-research the score increased from 27.7% to 51.84% on the first cycle and furthermore increased to 80.30% on the second cycle.  The conclusion of this research is that the application of cooperative learning model Question Student Have type is able to enhance the students’ activeness of the X office management of SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta.

Abstract

Penilaian Kinerja Sumber Daya Manusia sangatlah penting dilakukan sebagai salah satu uoaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja SDM dan meningkatkan profesionalitas. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekretariat Daerah Kota Surakarta dengan perolehan data  dari narasumber (informan), tempat dan peristiwa, serta dokumen dan arsip. Untuk pengambilan sample menggunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi partisipasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Validitas data diperoleh dengan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data model interaktif miles dan huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, kesimpulanHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Penerapan sistem penilaian E-Kinerja di Sekretariat Daerah Kota Surakarta meliputi: a) perencanaan aplikasi E-Kinerja, b) pelaksanaan aplikas E-Kinerja, c) Pengisian kegiatan pegawai diinput didalam aplikasi E-Kinerja, d) evaluasi data yang diinput didalam aplikasi E-Kinerja, dan e) perhitungan penilaian pada aplikasi E-Kinerja. 2) Penerapan sistem penilaian e-kinerja di Sekretariat Daerah Kota terdapat beberapa hambatan diantaranya: a) kemampuan IT PNS masih rendah, b) komponen sistem aplikasi E-Kinerja masih terbatas, dan c) jaringan internet yang kurang baik, dan, 3) Solusi untuk mengatasi hambatan yang terjadi antara lain: a) pelatihan dan pendampingan IT kepada PNS, b) perbaikan pada sistem aplikasi e-kinerja, dan c) membuat peraturan walikota baru tentang perubahan pada sistem aplikasi E-Kinerja.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh antar variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dengan pendekatan kuantitaif jenis korelasional. Sampel yang diambil sejumlah 85 siswa dari jumlah populasi. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pembelajaran kewirausahaan terhadap minat berwirausaha, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan keluarga terhadap minat berwirausaha, dan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pembelajaran kewirausahaan dan lingkungan keluarga secara bersama-sama terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII Administrasi Perkantoran SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. Persamaan regresi yang diperolehyaitu Ý = 11,210 + 0,148X1 + 0,501X2.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) To determine the implementation of the incoming and outgoing letters management, (2) The obstacles that occur in the implementation of the incoming and outgoing letters management, (3) the efforts made to overcome obstacles in the implementation of the incoming and outgoing letters management. This research is qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. Sources of data used are informants, places and events, as well as archives or documents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity test technique used is source triangulation and method triangulation. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis model. The results show (1) the incoming and outgoing letters Management are including (a) Incoming Letters, (b) Outgoing Letters, (2) Obstacles in the Incoming and outgoing letters Management are (a) there is no letter expert, (b) the storage space is getting narrower, (c) the lack of employee knowledge about mail handling, (d) the Lack of attention to mail security, (3) Efforts to overcome the obstacles in the Incoming and outgoing letters management. (a) requests for the new employee recruitment of mail handling, (b) submission of new archive space, (c) cooperation between the employees and students/interns, (d) maximizing the use of e-surat and SIPP applications.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning achievement in office technology subjects trough project based learning model using Schoology in office administration major, grade X 2 in SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta school year 2017/2018.The type of research conducted was Classroom Action Research.  It involved 36 students of Class X.2 at Office Administration Program of SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the school year of 2017/2018 as subject of the research. This study was directed by including Office Technology teachers, the researcher, and the students. Data collecting technique used were (a) observation, (b) interview, (c) test, and (d) documentation. The research procedure comprised (1) action planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation and interpretation, also (4) analysis and reflection. Based on the result of this study, it could be concluded that the implementation of Project Based Learning model utilizing Schoology improved student achievement of Class X.2 at Office Administration Program of SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the school year of 2017/2018. It was proved by the first cycle and the second cycle of the study.  Student learning achievement had increased both in cognitive aspect and psychomotor aspect. In cognitive aspect, student learning achievement had improved from class average of 74,86 or 72,22% in the first cycle to class average of 80,97 or 83,33% in the second cycle.  In psychomotor aspect, student learning achievement had also improved from the percentage of 77,78% in the first cycle to 88,89% in the second cycle. In conclusion, the implementation of Project Based Learning using Schoology could improve learning achievement on Office Technology subject at Class X.2 of Office Administration Program of SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the school year of 2017/2018.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the implementation of e-learning in Simkomdig subject at OTKP SMKN 3 Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Sources of data obtained from informants, places and occurrence, as well as documents and archives. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, and document analysis. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation and method triangulation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model. The implementation of online learning at Simkomdig OTKP SMKN 3 Surakarta consists of planning learning tools, preparing learning media and information technology that supports online learning. Conducted through the Google Classroom application, SMK3 e-learning, and Whatsapp causing the Simkomdig practicum material to be less than optimal. The online assessment is only taken from the time of collection of assignments and accuracy in answering. The obstacles found were differences in students' understanding abilities, limitations of electronic devices, unstable internet connections, lack of skills to operate electronic media optimally, and lack of learning supervision. Solutions to overcome obstacles in Simkomdig's online learning are carried out by selecting the right learning media, providing internet quota assistance and computer labs, training teachers on online applications, and further coordinating with parents or guardians of students.

Abstract

The research aims to identify effect of: (1) students perception on the teaching methods of teachers to the learning achievement of students subjects for governance and infrastructure; (2) students perception on the usability of the media learning on the learning achievement of students subjects for governance and infrastructure; (3) students perception of teacher teaching methods and the use of media learning on the learning achievement of students subjects for governance and infrastructure. The population in this study is all students of class XI office administration of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo amounting to 108 student. The research was an quantitative method with style correlation. Research results: (1) Have a significant effect of students perception of the teacher's teaching method on the learning achievement of the students by the tcount 7.131> ttable 1.989 with the significantly 5%;(2) Have a significant effect of students  perception of the use of media learning on the learning achievement of students by the tcount 3.898 > ttable 1.989 with the significantly 5%; (3) Have  a significant effect of students perception of teacher teaching methods and the use of media learning to study achievement of students by the value of Fcount 59.143 > Ftable 3.11with significantly 5%.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are for: (1) Implementation of Strategic Management in Improving the Quality of Education in SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta (2) Perceived barriers in the implementation of Strategic Management to improve the Quality of Education in SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta (3) Efforts made to overcome obstacles in the application of strategic management to improve the quality of education in SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. This research is using a qualitative descriptive approach. The sources of data used in this research come from informants, places and events, as well as documents and archives.The sampling technique used is purposive and snowball sampling. The data collecting techniques used are interviews, observation ,and documentation. The data validity test is carried out by fulfilling the four principles of validity testing, namely Credibility, Transferability, Dependability and Confirmability. The data analysis used is an interactive analysis model with several processes, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.  The results showed that the implementation of strategic management at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta has three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. Barriers exist in supervision, human resources and student expectations. SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta overcomes these obstacles by conducting training, guidance and direction.

Abstract

The current study aimed to examine (1) the effect of learning facility on student's learning outcome in archive subject; (2) the effect of lecturer's learning method on student's learning outcome in archive subject; and (3) the interplay of facility and lecturer's learning method on student's learning outcome. The population of the study was the sixth-semester students class A and B of Office Administration Education department who had passed archive subject. They were selected using saturated. The present research employed correlational design. The data were collected using facility questionnaire and learning method questionnaire. The data regarding learning outcome were gathered from the result of the midterm examination. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and then followed by Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test with 0.5 significance level. The results of the study are as follow. (1) the study found that learning method significantly affects learning outcome (rcount 0,468 > rtable 0,254). (2) the study found that learning facility significantly affects learning outcome (rcount 0,458 > rtable 0,254). (3) the study found that facility and learning method affect learning outcome (Fcount 17,746 > Ftable 3,17). The R2 value was 0.384. This indicated that learning facility and method simultaneously affect learning outcome by 38.4%, while the rest of it is addressed by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna mengetahui 1) pengaruh locus of control internal terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa; 2) pengaruh bimbingan karier terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa; dan 3) pengaruh locus of control internal dan bimbingan karier secara bersama-sama terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Desain penelitian adalah kuantitatif-korelasional. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil: 1) ditemukan pengaruh positif dan signifikan locus of control internal terhadap kesiapan kerja peserta didik kelas XII Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Banyudono, hasil tersebut didapat dari nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,28 > 1,99; 2) ditemukan pengaruh positif dan signifikan bimbingan karier terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Banyudono, hasil tersebut didapat dari nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,41 > 1,99; dan 3) ditemukan pengaruh positif dan signifikan locus of control internal dan bimbingan karier secara simultan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Banyudono, hasil tersebut didapat dari nilai Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 11,79 > 3,13.  Kata kunci: Locus of Control Internal, Bimbingan Karier, Kesiapan Kerja
