The purpose of this study was to determine the use of extensive reading methods in teaching vocabulary in the eighth grade at Upt. SMPN Benteng Utara No. 4, Selayar Islands, which consisted of 29 students. This research was action research; it was mentioned that the steps of the research include reconnaissance, planning, action, observation, and reflection to improve students’ vocabulary mastery at VIII A through extensive reading activities. The researcher focused on employing the extensive reading activities to improve students' vocabulary mastery. The aim was to find out or fine the use of extensive reading methods in increasing students' vocabulary to get a significant improvement by comparing the pre-test and post-test in the eighth-grade students based on the analysis of the mean score in the eighth-grade post-test to find out how the use of extensive reading methods affects students' vocabulary. The research showed that the average score in the first cycle is 65,5 and the second cycle is 80,5. It can be concluded that the extensive reading methods are effective in increasing students' vocabulary. This study concludes that extensive reading activities could improve students’ vocabulary mastery. Through this activity, they were familiar with the words they had learnt. Humans expect English for Specific Purposes (ESP) classes in the 21st century to not only help students get better at speaking and writing English, but also to help them think critically and communicate professionally. The goal of this study was to find out how critical thinking tasks are used in an ESP speaking class and how they help second-semester students in the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar build abilities they would need in the 21st century. A qualitative descriptive design was used to collect data from nine students using semi-structured interviews and observations of the classroom. Thematic analysis showed that critical thinking exercises helped students solve problems in the real world, explain and defend their ideas, and work well with others in group conversations. Even though participants had trouble with terminology and expression, they said they felt more confident, more conscious of their thinking, and more ready for work. The study concludes that critical thinking exercises in ESP speaking classes help students learn the language and develop skills that are important in the 21st century. The background of this research is based on the need for contextual, interactive teaching materials that are in line with the characteristics of the curriculum and the needs of students in developing 21st century skills. The research method used is development with an instructional design approach, which includes the stages of planning, design, expert validation, and revision. The LKPD product was developed with reference to the learning outcomes of the Merdeka Curriculum and designed to support computational thinking, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills. The validation process was carried out by two expert validators, covering the aspects of construction, technical, and content. The validation results showed that the LKPD product obtained a high average score, with a “Valid” category in all aspects of the assessment. The construction aspect scored an average of 4.6; the technical aspect scored 4.7; and the content aspect scored 4.9. These findings indicate that the developed Informatics LKPD is suitable for use as supporting teaching materials in the learning process. Revisions were also made based on validator feedback, particularly regarding the alignment of learning indicators with the content and time allocation. In conclusion, the developed LKPD has good content, appearance, and structure so that it can be used in teaching and learning activities. Konsep mahabbah atau cinta dalam Islam merupakan fondasi penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik yang berakhlak mulia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana nilai-nilai mahabbah dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam desain pembelajaran pada satuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur, ditemukan bahwa mahabbah dapat dimasukkan melalui aspek tujuan pembelajaran, proses pengajaran, dan evaluasi yang menumbuhkan kasih sayang kepada Allah, sesama manusia, dan lingkungan. Implikasi dari integrasi ini adalah terciptanya sistem pendidikan yang lebih humanistik, berlandaskan spiritualitas dan cinta kasih. This research addresses the impact of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on learners' writing skills, motivation, and engagement within the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) setting. While it is known that PBL, involving the completion of real-life projects, helps improve writing skills, its motivational impacts, especially concerning the writing capability of EFL students, remain understudied. The study aimed to determine the extent of PBL’s effect on students’ writing skills with a specific focus on grammar, coherence, creativity, argumentation, and motivation toward writing activities. The research used qualitative methods through conducting interviews, document analysis of student projects, and thematic analysis to identify pivotal themes from the gathered data. The findings indicate that these students not only became more creative and skilled in writing, but also became more motivated and engaged as a result of task relevancy, technology, and self-reflection and feedback opportunities. The study found that PjBL has a significant impact on students' writing skills and motivation, while providing tangible phenomena and enriching constructive perspectives on writing lessons within EFL contexts. It strongly suggests that clearer direction on time allocation, genre adjustment, PBL collaborative learning, and ongoing feedback should be employed in future studies.

This study explores the impact of targeted teaching interventions on the development of emotional intelligence (EI) and self-efficacy among university students. Recognizing the critical role these psychological constructs play in academic success and personal well-being, the research implements a series of instructional strategies designed to foster emotional awareness, regulation, and confidence in academic and social contexts. Examines the efficacy of targeted interventions in enhancing Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Self-Efficacy (SE) by comparing pre-test and post-test scores across control and intervention groups, the study employ descriptive statistics revealed significant improvements in both constructs, with the intervention group demonstrating higher post-test means (EI: 80.32; SE: 77.38) compared to the control group (EI: 74.47; SE: 68.13). Normality and homogeneity tests confirmed the data’s suitability for parametric analyses, while independent samples t-tests indicated statistically significant differences between groups (p = 0.005 for both EI and SE). These findings align with foundational theories while highlighting the amplified effects of modern intervention strategies, such as digital tools and personalized training. Notably, SE exhibited greater malleability (mean difference = 9.25) than EI (mean difference = 5.85), challenging earlier assertions about EI’s rigidity. The study concludes that the value of structured interventions in fostering psychological competencies, but calls for longitudinal research to assess sustainability and investigations into moderating factors. Perkembangan sosial-emosional anak usia dini merupakan fondasi penting dalam pembentukan karakter, keterampilan sosial, serta kesiapan akademik anak. Namun, strategi berbasis budaya dan kontekstual seperti permainan tradisional masih kurang mendapatkan perhatian dalam praktik pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi permainan tradisional terhadap penguatan perkembangan sosial-emosional anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review dengan menelaah berbagai publikasi ilmiah terkait peran permainan tradisional dalam konteks pendidikan anak usia dini. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional, seperti congklak, engklek, dan galasin, tidak hanya melatih regulasi emosi, empati, kerja sama, serta keterampilan sosial lainnya, tetapi juga mengandung nilai-nilai budaya lokal yang mendukung pembentukan identitas sosial anak. Selain itu, permainan tradisional terbukti memiliki potensi signifikan sebagai sarana pembelajaran kontekstual yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. This research examines the influence of the Team Games Tournament model on student involvement and academic achievement in scientific education. A mixed-methods strategy was employed to obtain quantitative data through tests, which indicated that a substantial percentage of pupils attained high scores, reflecting a robust comprehension of the topic. Qualitative observations emphasized active engagement, cooperation, and enthusiasm among students during collaborative activities. The results indicate that the interactive characteristics of the Team Games Tournament cultivate a favorable learning atmosphere, augmenting students' enthusiasm and critical thinking abilities. The existence of pupils in lower score ranges highlights the necessity for tailored interventions to assist struggling learners. The research underscores the significance of tailored education and the establishment of inclusive learning environments to address diverse student requirements. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini melalui penerapan metode eksperimen lilin uap di RA Mardhati. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya capaian perkembangan kognitif anak yang ditandai dengan kurangnya kemampuan berpikir logis dan memahami hubungan sebab-akibat, akibat dominasi metode ceramah yang monoton dan tidak variatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Perkembangan kognitif yang diukur meliputi tiga indikator utama: (1) kemampuan berpikir logis, (2) pemahaman hubungan sebab-akibat, dan (3) kemampuan menyimpulkan hasil pengamatan, sesuai indikator Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian menggunakan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) Kemmis & McTaggart yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 12 anak kelompok A (usia 4–5 tahun). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dengan lembar penilaian perkembangan kognitif, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada perkembangan kognitif anak. Rata-rata skor awal (pra tindakan) adalah 38,3 (kategori BB–MB), meningkat menjadi 64,6 pada siklus I (kategori MB–BSH), dan mencapai 86,7 pada siklus II (kategori BSH–BSB). Persentase anak yang mencapai kategori BSH dan BSB meningkat dari 0% (pra tindakan) menjadi 50% (siklus I) dan 100% (siklus II). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen lilin uap efektif meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini melalui kegiatan eksploratif, konkret, dan menyenangkan yang memfasilitasi anak untuk berpikir ilmiah sesuai tahap perkembangan mereka.

Di era revolusi industri 4.0 dan masyarakat 5.0, dunia kerja menuntut lulusan perguruan tinggi untuk memiliki keterampilan abad 21 seperti berpikir kritis, komunikasi efektif, kolaborasi, dan kreativitas. Namun, sistem pendukung keputusan untuk menentukan harga jahit menggunakan metode Fuzzy Mamdani dan Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) pada usaha jahit Ana Br Sembiring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu usaha jahit dalam menentukan harga secara lebih objektif dan akurat. Proses penentuan harga yang selama ini dilakukan secara manual seringkali dipengaruhi oleh subjektivitas. Dengan menggabungkan metode Fuzzy Mamdani untuk menangani ketidakpastian dalam variabel penentuan harga dan SAW untuk melakukan perankingan alternatif harga, diharapkan sistem ini dapat memberikan rekomendasi harga yang lebih adil dan kompetitif
