Abstract

Parking needs are one of the problems that are inseparable, especially in shopping areas that are important places for consumers in the area, especially private vehicle users, shops must provide parking facilities with the aim that parking characteristics in the shopping area can be overcome, This research aims to determine needs and availability of parking space also the characteristics of parking in Top Mode stores. The method used is the collection of primary data in the field in the form of vehicles coming and exiting for analysis of capacity, volume, accumulation, duration, and parking index, According to planning guidelines and operation of the 1998 ministry of transportation general park facility. The results of this study are the maximum parking volume for cars as many as 18 vehicles at 14:30-14:45 WITA and for motorcycles as many as 72 vehicles at 17:15-17:30. Maximum parking accumulation for cars as much as 66 plots at 17.00-17.15 WITA and for motorcycles as much as 243 plots of parking at 17:30-17:45 WITA Comparing with parking guidelines, some parameters have not met the specifications, much as, volume, accumulation, parking space unit, parking needs, and parking index, parking capacity that can be accommodated for cars of 14 vehicles and for motorcycles of 192 vehicles. Parking needs are 52 plots of parking for cars and 51 plots for motorcycles.

Abstract

The Preservation of the Sorong City Boundary Road is located on the Sorong Regency road section. This area is densely populated so it is in dire need of improving road services to support all land traffic activities. The research location for the evaluation of the application of occupational safety and health on the preservation of the Aimas – Klamono – Sorong Regency road is located on the Sorong Regency – South Sorong Regency road section. To reach the research location, the distance taken is 18 km from Sorong City. This study aims to determine the implementation of K3 on the construction project of the Aimas – Klamono Road Section, Sorong Regency. Primary data was obtained by observing, conducting interviews, and filling out checklists. The results of the implementation of SMK3 are Workplace Safety in the Project with a weight of 81.83%, Work Equipment and Clothing 91.96%, Protection of the Public 71.06%, Management Commitment to Occupational Safety and Health (K3) 54.44%, Occupational Health with a weight of 76.67%

Abstract

There are problems that are often experienced in bends such as problems with sediment transport disorders, flow tapping disorders, problem of eroding until the destruction of building. The pick-up door at Bendung Paku is only able to serve 100 ha, so it takes re-planning the pick-up door to meet the needs of an irrigation area of 466 ha. To reduce the sediment that goes into the irrigation canals are planned mud bags. The study aimed to calculate the dimensions on intake doors and mud bags. The specifications used in this study are the KP-01 and KP-02 Irrigation Planning Standards. In this study, the results of wide openings of intake doors of 1,000 m and a height of 1,670 m. For mud bags with a rinsing time of 7 days can accommodate sediment as much as 254 m3 with a base width dimension of 4,000 m, length of 86 m, flow depth of 0.700. Sediment reservoir depth 0.660 m and downstream depth 0.820 m.

Abstract

This study was intended to determine the characteristics of the mixture of worn-out concrete with the addition of egg rack ash as a substitute for cement filler in the mixture of worn-out concrete. The method in this research is to carry out a series of tests, namely testing the characteristics of egg tray ash where the characteristics of egg tray ash are checking the specific gravity of egg tray ash. Then designing the composition of the worn-out lastton mixture and Marshall testing to get the characteristics of the worn-out laston mixture with the addition of egg tray ash as a cement filler substitution, with a composition of 0%, 25%, 75%, and 100% egg tray ash content using General Specifications of Bina Marga 2018. At 0% and 25% egg tray ash content, the stability, flow, VIM, VMA, VFB values ​​met the specifications. At 50% ash content Stability, flow, VIM, VFB meet the specifications, while VMA does not meet. At 75% ash content and 100% stability value, VIM, VFB met the specifications, while flow and VMA did not meet the specifications. The characteristics of the worn layer Laston mixture with the substitution of egg tray ash filler with cement only at a 25% ash content that meets the General Specifications of Bina Marga 2018.

Abstract

Problems occur in construction projects that arise from inconsistencies in plans that have been made with actual facts, so that the impact that often occurs is a matter of project implementation time. The construction project of the 31 Sudirman Suites Apartment Building, located in the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi, will be underway starting March 24, 2020 and the contract completion plan is July 2021 with an initial schedule of 16 months. In the process of structural work has occurred, the project (project schedule delay) is approximately 10 months drawn from July 2020 to April 2021, where the final condition at the review stage of the S-curve data is known that the planned development (planned progress) is 82.695% of the actual progress (actual progress) of 47.449% so there was a project incidence of 35.246%, namely the difference between the actual / realization time schedule and the initial plan. This study aims to determine the factors causing the implementation of the 31 Sudirman Suites Makassar Apartment building project. The method used in this research is by means of a questionnaire to the relevant agencies as many as 20 responsibilities. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, validation and reliability tests, Relative Rank Index (RRI). From the research results, the dominant factor that caused the implementation of the 31 Sudirman Suites Apartment Building construction project was unexpected events (force majeure), such as the corona virus pandemic (COVID 19) with an RRI value of 0.892.

Abstract

Tetean River is a river located in Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi. In this study, one of the efforts to improve the quality of the AC-BC mixture so that the service life remains stable is by utilizing styrofoam as an additive in the asphalt mixture. Styrofoam is white cork or a type of foam that is often found around in the form of cork that supports electronic goods which has a high economic value because it can be recycled, cheap and practical. Styrofoam is flexible, difficult to decompose, resistant to acids and bases and salts. Styrofoam content used is 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8%, of the asphalt weight. With the aim of understanding the characteristics of the AC-BC mixture using Styrofoam waste added material, to obtain the marshall stability value of the remaining AC-BC mixture and to determine the effect of Styrofoam on the AC-BC mixture. The test carried out was the AC-BC mixture test using the Marshall method (SNI 06-2489-1991). From testing the characteristics of the AC-BC mixture with Styrofoam added 0% - 8%, using the Conventional Marshall test it has met the general specification standards of Bina Marga 2018 and the value of the remaining Marshall stability obtained using the Marshall Immersion test is 96.48%.

Abstract

In fact, most of the construction of road pavement layers is damaged due to rainwater puddles. This study was intended to determine the durability of the Coarse Stone Matrix Asphalt mixture using gypsum waste as a filler substitution. The results of research, through the marshall immersion test with the proportion of gypsum waste as a cement filler substitution, namely 25%: 75% with 6% asphalt content and variations in immersion time, namely 12 hours, 24 hours. 36 hours, 48 hours, and 60 hours. The test results for the Coarse Asphalt Stone Matrix mixture obtained durability between 97.99% - 92.31%. The relative durability value decreases with increasing immersion time, due to a large number of cavities or pores of the mixture filled with water so that the mixture is easily damaged.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding Candlenut Shell Ash to the maximum dry density and optimum moisture content in clay soil. Pecan shell ash as a clay soil density stabilization agent which was carried out by standard proctor testing. The research method used is Atterberg Limits testing, Moisture Content testing, Specific Gravity testing, Gradation testing (sieve analysis and hydrometer), and Compaction testing. From the characteristic tests it showed that the soil was classified as clay soil and the compaction test at point 1 and point 2 with mixed variations of 0%, 5%, 7%, 9% experienced an increase in the optimum water content. and maximum dry density. In the compaction test, 5 samples were carried out with the optimum moisture content value at point 1 of 0% variation, namely 22.855%, which continued to increase at the highest variation of 9%, namely 25.388 and at point 2, variation of 0%, namely 21.880%, continued to increase at variation of 9%, namely 24.217%, while the value of The maximum dry density at point 1 of 0% variation, which is 0.992, continues to increase at the highest variation of 9%, which is 1.058 and at point 2, variation of 0%, which is 0.957, also continues to increase at the highest variation of 9%, which is 1.047. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that Pecan Shell Ash increased the value of the optimum water content and the maximum dry density value so that it could be used to stabilize the soil.

Abstract

Concrete is the most widely used material as the main material in construction. As time progresses, human needs also increase, so in this study, wood waste was used into concrete mix with a normal concrete compressive strength value of 20 MPa using aggregate from the Jeneberang River. In this study, using sawdust waste to be utilized in concrete with variations of 0%, 3%, 6% and 9% with the aim of research to find out how the effect of sawdust waste into concrete mix with predetermined variations. The implementation method uses the SNI method by making test objects in the form of cylinders and blocks at the Indonesian Christian University Paul Laboratory. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that the effect of sawdust waste mixed into the concrete mixture showed the value of the compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength of the concrete increased by 3% then decreased in variations of 6% and 9% but at the addition of 3% the strength value The compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength of concrete decreased compared to normal concrete.

Abstract

Normal concrete is concrete with a compressive strength value of 15-40 MPa.this study aims to find out the workability of fresh concrete with the addition of sandblasting 10% and gypsum waste variations of 0%, 2%, 4%, 6% in concrete mixtures. Samples with a cylindrical shape with dimensions of 15cm x 30cm total 12 pieces, as well as beams with dimensions of 15cm x 15cm x 60cm total of 3 pieces. In the strong press test process obtained numbers 26,020, 24,027, 23,469 and 21,161 Mpa. Testing tensile strengths of 2,712, 2,098, 1,745, and 1,462 Mpa. Tests of 4,119, 3,793, 3,585, and 3,230 MPa. Elasticity modulus testing of 22384, 20497, 20025, and 19132 MPa. The results showed that gypsum waste cannot be used as a concrete quality mixture material.
