Abstract

Based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory, the use of e-learning is influenced by perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use by adding other factors, namely self-confidence and subjective norms. This study aims to determine: (1) The effect of perceived usefulness on the use of e-learning; (2) The effect of perceived ease of use on the use of e-learning; (3) The effect of self-confidence on the use of e-learning; (4) The effect of subjective norms on the use of e-learning. The Explanation Approach is used to explore the data in this study. The population in this study was the 2016 Accounting Education Bachelor Program students, amounting to 116 students. The number of samples in this study were 116 students. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire with a Likert scale as a measure of research variables. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, self-confidence, and subjective norms have a significant effect on the use of e-learning.

Abstract

This research’s purpose is to determine the impact of perceived organizational support and work from home on the work-life balance of employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used was the survey method. It took 30 respondents as samples from Gramedia TSM – Bandung by using a non-probability sampling method with a saturated sampling technique. A descriptive and verificative survey was the research type used in this study. The data were processed with multiple regression analyses. The research result showed that perceived organizational support, work from home, and work-life balance are on a good level. The hypothesis testing showed that work from home has a positive and significant effect on work-life balance partially. Perceived organizational support has also a significant and positive effect on work-life balance. Both of them, work from home and perceived organizational support affect work-life balance simultaneously. This study concluded that perceived organizational support and work from home were two significant predictors to construct work-life balance. This information is useful for the company in evaluating the work-life balance of employees through the implementation of work from home and perceived organizational support.

Abstract

The pharmaceutical industry is one of the industries that has experienced significant development in Indonesia. The growth of this sector can be seen in the increasing total market share from year to year. However, the pharmaceutical industry faces several challenges such as the high level of competition and a dynamic business situation. One of them is the COVID-19 pandemic which also affects the condition of the pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia. This study aims to examine and analyze the role of CRM on the marketing performance of the pharmaceutical industry through the mediation of competitive advantage and innovation. A total of 151 respondents were involved in this study and the data were processed through PLS analysis. The results find that CRM has a significant effect directly on Competitive Advantage and Innovation. While CRM is not proven to have a significant effect directly on Marketing Performance. However, CRM has a significant effect indirectly through the mediation of Competitive Advantage and Innovation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the business strategies applied in one of the sustainable organic farming in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The methodology used is Soft System Methodology (SSM). SSM is an organizational process modeling method that can be used for general problem resolution and change management. Rich picture, Root definitions and conceptual model were presented in the paper. Data were taken using focus group discussion and in-depth interviews with the owner, staffs, and farmers from the organic farm. The focus of this research is to get knowledge about the actors, their behavior, relationships and their influence on decision - making processes. From the analysis, eight main results were obtained as the key strategies in organic farming: identification of actors and critical factors in the farm, vision and mission socialization, operational evaluation, transformation, managerial improvement, measurement of revenue and profit, consistency in sustainability indicator used, and mitigation plan.

Abstract

Honda is a competitive brand in the automobile industry with a growing popularity among the public. Hence, Honda has always tried to innovate and make its product different from others which are still preferred by the public. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that are influencing consumer purchasing behaviour towards Honda cars to provide useful insights regarding the buying pattern of consumers to assist the management in their future marketing strategies. The factors that affect customers purchasing behaviour towards Honda’s vehicle are price, service quality, perceived usefulness and brand loyalty. The research was conducted through primary data sources such as surveys and secondary data sources such as website research. We employed a quantitative research method, surveyed and collected data from 160 participants through an online survey questionnaire. The findings showed that customers are concerned about the brand loyalty and service quality the most while purchasing Honda vehicles. These are helpful for the company to implement strategies and grasp more customers as well as continuous improvement towards its performance.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the impact of global trends on "MakeMyTrip" company as well as its customer satisfaction. The study has been done with the help of information provided on the company's websites, people's personal experiences, various hypotheses, and some statistical data. Surveys are also done to collect data from customers about their hospitality experiences and satisfaction. The findings and results which are based on the facts provided by customers and organization website suggested that the global trend does give a significant impact on organization and customer satisfaction. The study is aimed to provide ideas and solutions for organizations based on the impacts shown.

Abstract

The regional characteristics of Manado city show its enormous potential as a center of tourism development, especially coastal tourism. This study aims to determine the influence of vocational school graduates in Manado City to develop its sustainable tourism. We involved tourism service actors who employing vocational schools, purposively selected as the sample. For the data analysis, we used descriptive and non-parametric statistical analysis with quantitative methodology aided with the SPSS software. The findings indicate a significant influence of vocational school graduates on the development of sustainable tourism in Manado. Thus, their role should be increased by adjoining tourism-based skills accentuated on tourism sustainability.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the participatory leadership style of the top management of Medi Groups Bali. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach and data collection by observation and interview. The result of this research is that this participatory leadership style can develop the company because it builds a culture that all teams must actively contribute to every existing process by increasing their work motivation and innovation. The participatory decision-making process at Medi Groups is divided into 2 levels, namely the executive level which produces strategic policies and the operational level which produces decisions in terms of execution. The conclusion of this study is that decisions made through discussions between superiors and subordinates with many studies and inputs from different individuals and different generations make the company able to adapt to current developments and be able to survive in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership style effect on job satisfaction, the leadership style effect on performance, the job satisfaction effect on performance and the leadership style through job satisfaction effect on performance. The results of the regression analysis show the equation: Y1 = 0.740X and Y2 = 0.226X + 0.601Y1. The path analysis results show the equation, Y2 = 0.671X. Hypothesis test results indicate that the leadership style has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, the leadership style has a significant positive effect on performance, the job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on performance and the leadership style through job satisfaction significant positive effect on performance. Abstract

Earnings management is a method used by management to influence the numbers in financial statements. Earnings management is detrimental to investors because the financial statements are very low. Financial reports can no longer be trusted. Research on earnings management has been widely carried out with mixed results. Few systematic reviews have been carried out on earning management in Indonesia. The present article set out to analyze the existing literature on earning management practices in Indonesia. Guided by the ROSES or RepOrting standards for Systematic Evidence Syntheses review method, a systematic review of the Sinta 1 and 2 databases was identified with 23 related studies. Further review of these articles uses four main themes – Monitoring, Management opportunities, accounting policies, and investor decision-making. Several recommendations are highlighted related to conducting more qualitative studies about earning management in different paradigms and approaches with different searching techniques such as reference searching and contacting experts. Keywords: earning management, Indonesia, motive, systematic literature reviewÂ
