Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop the implementation model of CSR for nickel mining companies. This study uses interactive analysis from Milles and Huberman. The results of this study concluded that; first, to present empowerment based on local wisdom with principles: involvement of all stakeholders, ethical, village potential, sustainability. Second, intervention can be done in the form of programs; CSR program planning is carried out by stakeholders, increasing supervision, training and counseling related to CSR programs. Third, the implementation of interventions in the form of programs requires the synergy of stakeholders. This study provides solutions to mining companies and local governments to be a reference in formulating CSR programs that have a positive impact on the welfare.

Abstract

This research analyzed the effect of leadership effectiveness on employee effectiveness. The object of this research is Universitas Negeri Manado (UNIMA) as the Higher Education Institution. Research problem refers to data phenomenon in UNIMA. The fact presents that the staffs do not have maximum presence since they only go to work for 18 days per month (81%). The average of work contribution is only approximately 6 hours a day, but the staffs are required to attend for 8 hours a day. The problem is: how to increase the employee effectiveness. The hypothesis from this research has been formulated that there is a direct positive influence of the leadershipeffectiveness on the effectiveness of the employees. The sample method is proportional random sampling technique. The research includes 102 respondents who are the employees of UNIMA.The data were analyzed by using simple linier regression. The result this research indicates that the leadership effectiveness has given the positive direct effect on employees effectiveness.

Abstract

This paper aimed to examine the impact of social media Instagram, brand image, and price on online purchasing decisions on SME customers. The sample size in this study was 100 respondents from Atthahirah Clothing's customers. Structural Equational Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 program was used as the analysis technique. The results show that the use of Instagram has no significant effect on online purchasing decision, also consumers do not consider brand image when they make online purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, price positively affects online purchasing decisions. In conclusion, the biggest motivation for Atthahirah consumers in making online purchasing decisions is price. Therefore, pricing is important in determining online purchasing decisions for hijab fashion SMEs consumers.

Abstract

Educational problems are very complex problems if not addressed by staying targeted. Where education here will create students who will jump in the wider community to run life as a wider community. The teacher is the most influential component in the creation of quality education processes and results, therefore any improvement efforts made to improve the quality of education will not make a significant contribution without being supported by teachers of high quality teacher competence. Teacher Competence has a positive effect on Teacher's performance, Motivation has a positive effect on teacher performance, and Teacher competency and motivation together influence teacher performance.

Abstract

Modern and cultural heritage buildings’ safety is mandatory. The damage they suffered, especially the heritage buildings, requires the owners and managers to further improve the supervision of the safety aspects. This study aims to identify, assess, and respond to the safety risk of the heritage buildings. This research was conducted in Jakarta utilizing interviews and questionnaires to identify the risks. Experts and other respondents were deliberately chosen were chosen according to their experience. The risks were analyzed by the probability and weight matrices. This study reveals three high risks and provides the solution to reduce the risk. In addition to academic benefits, the findings are beneficial for the owners and suggest the government carry out risk management.

Abstract

Employees have a very important role, where they must spare their energy and thoughts to achieve company goals. The management of corporate culture is directed to the ability to encourage company performance through improving employee performance. The purposes of this study are to examine and analyze the effect of organizational culture and competence on organizational commitment, employee performance, and employee performance. The population and the respondents were 76 people in the Karangasem Regency Government. This study used the SEM analysis with SmartPLS 3.0 program. The findings indicate that organizational culture has a positive effect on organizational commitment and employee performance. Competence affects both the organization's commitment and employee performance positively. Organizational commitment also affects the performance of employees positively and and mediate the relationship between organizational culture and competence on employee performance.

Abstract

Our aim is to investigate the concepts in previous research on human capital through Information Communication Technology (ICT). We use a collection of scientific articles from emeralds as well as books written by experts in the field of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and human resources. Three important components of human resources in Industry 4.0 are workforce architecture with new interactions, embracing future human resources, and topologies that generate competencies anticipated by human resources. This Information Communication Technology study will analyze the notion of information technology. AI is one of the most widely used information and communication technologies (ICT) in Industry 4.0. The artificial intelligence (AI) generated by ICT is essential in implementing current and future ICT projects. ICT professionals should also consider their work environment as a pleasant work environment that substantially affects performance and results. The advantages of information communication technology or ICT in communicating and interacting effectively. ICT is very important to fulfill all human needs. Communication science and the quality of human resources are closely related.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social intelligence and emotional intelligence of leaders on job satisfaction. This study uses a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The location of the study was carried out at the Hospital Prof. Kandou, Manado. The population of this study were all employees at the hospital Prof. Kandou, Manado, with a sample of 150 employees in determining the sample used proportional random sampling technique. The data that has been netted with a questionnaire is then rated and tabulated for further analysis using multiple regression. The results showed that the variables of social intelligence and emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the Competency Hosted Skills through Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Models of Class XI Students in SMA Negeri 1 Ratahan. This research was conducted at Ratahan State High School 1 in class XI 2019/2020 Academic Year consisting of 37 students. The method used in this research is classroom action research. The average value is 68 in cycle I. Meanwhile, the average value of class XI in the second cycle reached 79.9. These results indicate an increase of 8 or 11% from cycle I to cycle II. This increase proves the success of hosted learning through the cooperative pattern of think pair share. Behavior of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Ratahan has changed for the better after participating in the learning of hosted skills through a pattern of think-pair-share cooperation. Schools should further maximize the function of multimedia spaces in schools to support the learning of Indonesian language

Abstract

Apple has a large customer base in Malaysia because they offer products of superior design and features. The main objective of this study is to determine the contributing factors to Apple’s sustainability in Malaysia’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Industry. This study is conducted based on quantitative research with 100 targeted respondents from Malaysia. The findings indicate that the marketing strategies, brand awareness, and customer experience are the major factors of the successful pathway of Apple’s sustainability. The research concludes that Apple Industry should adapt a frequent reengineering approach where the existing and upcoming Apple products will satisfy customer needs.
