Jurnal Dedikasia: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat (e-ISSN : 2798-0715 | p-ISSN : 2798-1290) is a journal which published by Rumah Jurnal Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Bukittinggi, West Sumatera Indonesia. It specializes in research on the Engagement and empowerment of Muslim society from the perspective of social welfar. Abstract

Bahan ajar harus disusun secara sistematis, interaktif, menarik dan bermakna yang memungkinkan siswa dapat belajar secara mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) Melaksanakan Lokakarya Penyusunan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Ethical Dilemma Tri N Menggunakan Aplikasi Digibook Bagi Guru-Guru SMKN 1 Kepulauan Mentawai. 2) Menghasilkan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Ethical Dilemma Tri N Menggunakan Aplikasi Digibook karya guru-guru SMKN 1 Kep. Mentawai. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan selama satu tahun dalam bentuk lokakarya dengan 6 (enam) metode rangkaian kegiatan Pre-tes, Ekspos, Analisis, Tutorial, Kerja kelompok, Presentasi Hasil, Pos-tes. Hasil Kegiatan Pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa perlunya dilakukan penguatan kompetensi guru terutama dalam merancang bahan ajar digital yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum merdeka di tingkat SMK. Melalui kegiatan lokakarya yang dilakukan secara daring dan luring guru-guru didampingi untuk mampu menggunakan aplikasi digibook dalam mencari sumber belajar. Kemudian, dilakukan pendampingan dengan membentuk komitmen guru melalui fakta integritas untuk dapat menghasilkan sebuah bahan ajar atau buku teks berISBN.   Teaching materials must be arranged in a systematic, interactive, interesting and meaningful manner that allows students to learn independently. This service activity aims to; 1) Carrying out a Workshop on Preparing Teaching Materials Based on the Tri N Ethical Dilemma Using the Digibook Application for Teachers of SMKN 1 Mentawai Islands. 2) Produce Tri N Ethical Dilemma Based Teaching Materials Using the Digibook Application created by SMKN 1 Kep teachers. Mentawai. This service activity is carried out for one year in the form of a workshop with 6 (six) methods, a series of activities: Pre-test, Expose, Analysis, Tutorial, Group work, Presentation of Results, Post-test. The results of the Community Service Activities show that it is necessary to strengthen teacher competence, especially in designing digital teaching materials that are in accordance with the demands of the independent curriculum at the vocational school level. Through workshop activities conducted online and offline, teachers are assisted in being able to use the digibook application to search for learning resources. Then, assistance is provided by forming teacher commitment through integrity facts to be able to produce teaching materials or textbooks with ISBN.

Abstract

Advancing to the national level in the National Science Olympiad (OSN) is a significant challenge faced by many schools, given the tight competition and high standards of ability that must be achieved by students to compete at that level. SMAN 1 Tualang, as one of the leading high schools in Siak Regency, has consistently succeeded in sending its students to the provincial level every year. However, in the field of biology, students still face difficulties in continuing the competition to the national level. The purpose of this coaching and training activity is to prepare students to face the OSN with adequate knowledge and skills to be able to compete at the national level. This activity is carried out through the method of providing direct material and discussing questions using the drilling method. The results of this activity show an increase in students' ability to solve OSN questions in the field of biology, which can be seen from the increase after coaching and training with an N-gain value of 0.58, which is included in the moderate category. Thus, this activity is effective in improving students' readiness to face the national science Olympiad and is recommended to be implemented continuously for more optimal results. Melaju ke tingkat nasional dalam Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) merupakan tantangan signifikan yang dihadapi oleh banyak sekolah, mengingat persaingan yang ketat dan tingginya standar kemampuan yang harus dicapai oleh peserta didik untuk bersaing di jenjang tersebut. SMAN 1 Tualang, sebagai salah satu SMA unggulan di Kabupaten Siak, berhasil secara konsisten mengirimkan siswanya ke tingkat provinsi setiap tahun. Namun, pada bidang biologi, siswa masih menghadapi kesulitan untuk melanjutkan kompetisi ke jenjang nasional. Tujuan dari kegiatan pembinaan dan pelatihan ini adalah untuk mempersiapkan siswa-siswi menghadapi OSN dengan bekal pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memadai agar mampu bersaing di tingkat nasional. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui metode pemberian materi secara langsung dan pembahasan soal menggunakan metode drilling. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal OSN bidang biologi, yang terlihat dari peningkatan setelah pembinaan dan pelatihan dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,58 termasuk kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi Olimpiade sains nasional dan direkomendasikan untuk diimplementasikan secara berkelanjutan untuk hasil yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

Violence prevention in schools is very important to create a safe atmosphere for students. Strengthening digital literacy is essential as a preventive measure against verbal violence. The method used in this service  includes lectures, training, and assistance in utilizing digital media as an educational tool. the results of the activity, teachers and students understanding of the impact of violence and how to prevent it will increase, as well as increasing teachers understanding of technology with the output is infographics. The schools can effectively protect children from violence. Pencegahan kekerasan di sekolah sangat penting untuk menciptakan suasana aman bagi siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan literasi digital sebagai upaya pencegahan kekerasan verbal. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendekatan yang meliputi ceramah, pelatihan, dan pendampingan pemanfaatan media digital sebagai sarana edukasi. Hasil pada kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman guru dan siswa tentang dampak kekerasan, cara pencegahan, dan pemahaman guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi yang dibuktikan dengan luaran berupa infografis. Dengan demikian, sekolah dapat secara efektif melindungi siswa dari kekerasan.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the skills of the students of Pondok Pesantren Al-Muhajirin III Jombang in preparing a Cost Budget Plan (RAB) based on the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) using Microsoft Excel. This training is motivated by the limited understanding of santri in financial management and technical preparation of transparent and accountable budgets. The training method combines theoretical learning and practical application, covering important steps in budgeting, GCG principles: transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness, as well as the use of Excel for efficient and accurate financial analysis. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills, enabling them to create detailed and precise budgets in accordance with GCG principles. The program effectively prepared the students to face real-world financial management challenges and emphasized the importance of ethical and professional budget planning. Future initiatives should include ongoing training and long-term mentoring to strengthen the integration of GCG principles in various financial and business contexts. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan santri Pondok Pesantren Al-Muhajirin III Jombang dalam menyusun Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) berbasis prinsip Good Corporate Governance (GCG) menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Pelatihan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan pemahaman santri dalam manajemen keuangan dan teknis penyusunan anggaran yang transparan dan akuntabel. Metode pelatihan ini menggabungkan pembelajaran teoritis dan aplikasi praktis, yang mencakup langkah-langkah penting dalam penyusunan anggaran, prinsip-prinsip GCG yakni transparansi, akuntabilitas, tanggung jawab, kemandirian, dan keadilan, serta penggunaan Excel untuk analisis keuangan yang efisien dan akurat. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta, sehingga memungkinkan mereka untuk membuat anggaran yang rinci dan tepat sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip GCG. Program ini secara efektif mempersiapkan para siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan manajemen keuangan di dunia nyata dan menekankan pentingnya perencanaan anggaran yang etis dan profesional. Inisiatif di masa depan harus mencakup pelatihan berkelanjutan dan pendampingan jangka panjang untuk memperkuat integrasi prinsip-prinsip GCG dalam berbagai konteks keuangan dan bisnis.

Abstract

The genocide in Gaza, Palestine, is often accompanied by propaganda that obscures the facts about human rights violations by Israel. This study aims to enhance Gen Z's media literacy so they can understand this tragedy from a moral perspective that upholds truth and justice. Through socialization activities, pre-test and post-test results show an improvement in students' understanding of the event. Additionally, this initiative encourages Gen Z to engage in humanitarian actions, such as fundraising and social activities, as a form of solidarity with the people of Gaza. Genosida di Gaza, Palestina, sering kali dipenuhi propaganda yang mengaburkan fakta pelanggaran hak asasi manusia oleh Israel. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi media Gen Z agar mereka mampu memahami tragedi ini dengan perspektif moral yang berpihak pada kebenaran dan keadilan. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi, hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang peristiwa tersebut. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong Gen Z untuk terlibat dalam aksi kemanusiaan, seperti penggalangan dana dan kegiatan sosial, sebagai bentuk solidaritas terhadap masyarakat Gaza.

Abstract

Abundant coconut-husk waste in Nagari Lurah, Tujuah Koto Sub-district, Padang Pariaman Regency, remains under-utilised and contributes to environmental pollution. This community-engagement programme (PKM) aimed to increase the added value of coconut husks by converting them into cocopeat growing media. The implementation consisted of (1) training in husk sorting and shredding; (2) soaking, washing, drying, and sieving fibres to produce cocopeat powder; (3) assistance with physico-chemical feasibility testing; and (4) guidance on packaging and farmer-group-based marketing. The activity enabled residents to produce cocopeat with < 15 % moisture content and pH 5.6–6.2, meeting horticultural media standards. A trial run processing 50 kg of husks yielded approximately 25 kg of market-ready cocopeat, with a potential additional income of IDR 1,250,000 per production cycle. The project reduced organic waste accumulation, enhanced local technical skills, and fostered a new coconut-husk-based micro-enterprise.   Limbah sabut kelapa yang melimpah di Nagari Lurah, Kecamatan Tujuah Koto, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, belum termanfaatkan secara optimal dan menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan nilai tambah sabut kelapa dengan mengolahnya menjadi cocopeat sebagai media tanam. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi (1) pelatihan pemilahan dan pencacahan sabut, (2) perendaman, pencucian, pengeringan, dan pengayakan serat untuk menghasilkan serbuk cocopeat, (3) pendampingan uji kelayakan fisik–kimia, serta (4) bimbingan pengemasan dan pemasaran berbasis kelompok tani. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa warga mampu memproduksi cocopeat dengan kadar air < 15 % dan pH 5,6–6,2, sesuai standar media tanam hortikultura. Produksi percobaan 50 kg sabut menghasilkan ± 25 kg cocopeat siap jual, berpotensi menambah pendapatan Rp1 250 000 per siklus produksi. Dampak kegiatan terlihat pada berkurangnya timbunan limbah organik, peningkatan keterampilan teknis masyarakat, dan lahirnya unit usaha baru berbasis sabut kelapa.

Abstract

Single mothers in Malaysia face several vulnerabilities, such as economic instability (informal sector jobs, uncertain income) and the burden of single parenting. In response to this, the community service program "Ramadhan Gift for Single Mothers" was carried out by international students of KKM UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in Kampung Sentosa Jaya, Paroi, Malaysia, with the following objectives: (1) to distribute essential aid to 20 registered single mothers; (2) to foster warm social-emotional interactions; and (3) to strengthen solidarity and cultural diplomacy between Indonesia and Malaysia through the Ramadhan moment. The implementation method used Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving participatory collaboration with local community leaders. Data collection was done through participatory observation, structured/semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results showed a very positive response: the beneficiaries felt materially and psychosocially supported, while community leaders appreciated the strengthening of bilateral relations. The program successfully created an impact by improving social relations, cross-cultural empathy, and a positive image of Indonesia. For sustainability, it is recommended to transform the program into an empowerment approach (skills training, business mentoring), expand networks with local/government institutions, develop memorandums of understanding for long-term partnerships, and implement a structured monitoring-evaluation system along with cultural communication training for volunteers.

Abstract

Pancasila is the foundation of the Indonesian nation that has a function in social life. Pancasila as a tool to unite the nation, the personality of the nation, the outlook on life of the nation, the source of all sources of law and sources of knowledge in Indonesia. Diversity in society is one thing that is very important for social life in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. As in Pancasila, the third principle which reads "Indonesian Diversity", this is also agreed upon in the Qur'an, surah al-Hujurat verse 13 which discusses the meaning of diversity from the values ​​of Pancasila contained therein. However, seeing the facts now, there are many phenomena that lose the meaning of the values ​​of Pancasila. Therefore, it is very important to instill the values ​​of diversity from the values ​​of the third principle to the people of Indonesia. The aims of this research are: (1) To find out the values ​​of diversity in Pancasila from the perspective of the Qur'an, Surah Al-Hujurat, verse 13, (2) to find out the relevance of the values ​​of diversity in Pancasila from the perspective of the Qur'an, Surah Al-Hujurat, verse 13 with contemporary social life. Pancasila adalah dasar bangsa Indonesia yang memiliki fungsi dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Pancasila sebagai alat pemersatu bangsa, kepribadian bangsa, pandangan hidup bangsa, sumber dari segala sumber hukum dan sumber ilmu pengetahuan di Indonesia. Keragaman dalam masyarakat merupakan satu hal yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan bermasyarakat di Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Sebagaimana dalam Pancasila, sila ketiga yang berbunyi “Keragaman Indonesia”, hal ini diamini pula dalam Al-Qur’an surah Al-Hujurat ayat 13 yang membahas tentang makna keragaman dari nilai Pancasila yang ada di dalamnya. Akan tetapi, melihat fakta yang ada sekarang banyaknya fenomena yang kehilangan makna dari nilai Pancasila. Karena itu sangat penting untuk menanamkan asyara nilai-nilai keragaman dari nilai sila ketiga kepada asyarakat Indonesia. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui nilai-nilai keragaman pada Pancasila perspektif al-Qur’an surah al-Hujurat ayat 13, (2) mengetahui relevansi nilai-nilai keragaman pada Pancasila perspektif al- Qur’an surah al-Hujurat ayat 13 dengan kehidupan sosial masa kini.

Abstract

The problems faced by schools based on direct observation in public and private elementary schools (SDN) are related to the still low governance of digital-based school quality management development. The first problem is that, the principal still has difficulty in preparing a digital-based School Development Plan. Second, the school's work program has not been socialized to the school community. Third, the principal and school development team are still weak in updating information through a digital system. Referring to these problems, the author conducted training and mentoring for the principal and teachers at SDN 16 Padang Pariaman. The method used was Mentoring and Training on digital literacy development. The training participants numbered 10 people, consisting of 1 principal and 9 teachers. The training activities were carried out in the classroom. The results of this service were that the principal and teachers received training on the governance of digital literacy management development of school management. Furthermore, the school must cooperate with the Regency Education Office to improve supporting facilities through an internet network so that school management, especially administration-related, can be carried out digitally to be more effective and efficient. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh sekolah berdasarkan pengamatan langsung di sekolah dasar negeri (SDN) dan Swasta yakni berkaitan dengan masih rendahnya tata kelola pengembangan manajemen mutu sekolah berbasis digital. Masalah yang pertama, kepala sekolah masih memiliki kesulitan dalam menyusun Rencana Pengembangan Sekolah berbasis digital. Kedua, program kerja sekolah belum disosialisasikan kepada warga sekolah. Ketiga, kepala sekolah dan tim pengembang sekolah masih lemah dalam mengupdate informasi melalui system digital. Mengacu pada permasalahan tersebut, Penulis melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap kepala sekolah dan guru di SDN 16 Padang Pariaman. Metode yang digunakan berupa Pendampingan dan Pelatihan mengenai pengembangan literasi digital. Peserta pelatihan berjumlah 10 orang terdiri dari 1 kepala sekolah dan 9 orang guru. Kagiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan di ruang kelas. Hasil dari pengabdian ini dimana Kepala sekolah dan guru memperoleh pelatihan tentang tata kelola pengembangan manajemen literasi digital manajemen sekolah. Selanjutnya pihak sekolah harus bekerjasama dengan dinas pendidikan Kabupaten untuk meningkatkan sarana penunjang berupa jaringan internet supaya dalam manajemen sekolah terutapa berkaiatan dengan administrasi bisa dilaksankan secara digital supaya lebih efektif dan efisien.

This study is part of a community service program to enhance students’ ability to read classical Islamic texts (maharah qirā’ah) at MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu. Kitab kuning, as a core of Islamic scholarly tradition, demands strong Arabic grammar skills, especially in nahwu and sharaf, due to its unvowelled format. Despite their diniyah background, many students still struggle to comprehend these texts independently. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach, this program implemented practical training strategies, including basic sentence structure review, i’rab reinforcement, vocabulary enrichment, and guided reading via halaqah and musyāwarah methods. Data from observation and interviews revealed improved understanding of Arabic grammar and greater reading fluency. The contextual, hands-on approach helped boost student confidence and engagement with classical texts. Moreover, the collaborative halaqah setting fostered active, enjoyable learning. These results highlight the value of practical strategies in kitab kuning instruction, especially for students with foundational Arabic knowledge. Strengthening maharah qirā’ah not only deepens access to turats literature but also promotes critical and religious thinking. This model is recommended for adoption in other Islamic schools or pesantren to preserve and strengthen classical Islamic scholarship. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari program pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca teks klasik Islam (maharah qirā’ah) bagi siswa MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu. Kitab kuning, sebagai inti dari tradisi keilmuan Islam, menuntut penguasaan tata bahasa Arab yang kuat, khususnya dalam aspek nahwu dan sharaf, karena tidak berharakat. Meskipun para siswa memiliki latar belakang pendidikan diniyah, banyak di antara mereka yang masih kesulitan memahami teks secara mandiri. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif, program ini menerapkan strategi pelatihan praktis, termasuk pengenalan struktur kalimat dasar, penguatan konsep i’rab, perluasan kosakata klasik, serta latihan membaca melalui metode halaqah dan musyāwarah. Data dari observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman terhadap tata bahasa Arab dan kelancaran membaca teks. Pendekatan yang kontekstual dan aplikatif ini berhasil meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan ketertarikan siswa terhadap teks-teks klasik. Selain itu, suasana kolaboratif dalam halaqah mendorong partisipasi aktif dan menyenangkan. Hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi praktis dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning, terutama bagi siswa yang telah memiliki dasar bahasa Arab. Penguatan maharah qirā’ah tidak hanya memperdalam akses terhadap literatur turats, tetapi juga mendorong pemikiran kritis dan religius. Model pelatihan ini direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan di lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya dalam rangka melestarikan tradisi keilmuan Islam klasik.
