How does it affect learning, community life, and the needs of non-Arabic learners in studying Arabic. This journal is also open to discussion of Arabic language learning for specific purposes, this journal is open to the investigation of language attitudes, beliefs, and identities as well as contributions related to the language learning process and language practice inside and outside the classroom. The study of syntax, semantics, phonology, morphology, and other aspects of the Arabic language; survey of recent theoretical developments that facilitate accessibility for readers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the types of Arabic speaking errors made by 11th-grade students at MAN Simalungun and identify the underlying factors. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with methods of observation, interviews, and written tests. The research results show that students' speaking errors are divided into three main categories: phonology, morphology, and syntax. Phonological errors include the pronunciation of letters with specific articulation and the incorrect use of thick-thin sounds. Morphological errors occur in the use of singular, dual, and plural forms, as well as gender agreement in adjectives. Syntactic errors include the arrangement of nominal sentences, the use of prepositions, and the incorrect use of adjectives. The main factors influencing these errors are mother tongue interference, teaching methods, and lack of intensive practice. This study recommends the development of teaching methods based on phonetic and grammatical practice to effectively improve students' speaking skills. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل أنواع الأخطاء في الكلام باللغة العربية التي ارتكبها طلاب الصف الحادي عشر في المدرسة الثانوية الإسلامية الحكومية بسيمالونجون، بالإضافة إلى تحديد العوامل المؤثرة فيها. انتهج هذا البحث منهجا وصفيا نوعيا من خلال أساليب الملاحظة، والمقابلة، والاختبار التحريري. أظهرت نتائج البحث أن أخطاء الكلام لدى الطلاب تنقسم إلى ثلاث فئات رئيسة: صوتية، وصرفية، ونحوية. تشمل الأخطاء الصوتية نطق الحروف بطريقة غير صحيحة واستخداماً خاطئاً للتفخيم والترقيق. أما الأخطاء الصرفية فتظهر في استخدام صيغة المفرد والمثنى والجمع، وكذلك في مطابقة الجنس في الصفات. وتتمثل الأخطاء النحوية في ترتيب الجمل الاسمية، واستخدام حروف الجر، والاستخدام غير الصحيح للصفات. وتبين أن العوامل الرئيسة المؤثرة في هذه الأخطاء هي: تأثير اللغة الأم، وأساليب التدريس، وقلة الممارسة المكثفة. ويوصي هذا البحث بتطوير أساليب تدريس تعتمد على الممارسة الفونولوجية والنحوية لتحسين مهارة الكلام لدى الطلاب بشكل فعال.

Abstract

The study was inspired by pupils' poor reading performance, which was linked to a lack of enthusiasm in reading and a shortage of technology-based instructional resources employed by teachers. This study looks at how utilizing Prezi affects the reading ability of eighth-grade pupils at MTsN 3 Lima Puluh Kota. A true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group was used. Analyze the data using statistical analysis by the Minitab program. In this research, the researcher uses a simple random sample. The sample of this research is the two grades, namely the Eighth Grade (6) with 28 students, and the Eighth Grade (10) with 22 students. Eighth Grade (6) as the experimental class and Eighth Grade (10) as the officer class. And the data analysis in this research is quantitative. The method of data analysis used in this research is statistical analysis with the type of semantic statistics. The data were examined with Minitab software. The hypothesis testing yielded a p-value of 0.002, showing statistical significance (p < 0.05) and an effect size of around 24.05%. The results show that using Prezi greatly enhances kids' reading ability. استُلهمت هذه الدراسة من ضعف أداء التلاميذ في مهارة القراءة، والذي ارتبط بانخفاض الحماس نحو القراءة ونقص الموارد التعليمية القائمة على التكنولوجيا التي يستخدمها المعلمون. هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف أثر استخدام برنامج بريزي على قدرة القراءة لدى تلاميذ الصف الثامن في المدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية الثالثة بـليما بولو كوتا. وقد استُخدم في هذه الدراسة تصميم تجريبي حقيقي مع مجموعة ضابطة باختبار قبلي وبعدي. تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام التحليل الإحصائي من خلال برنامج مينيتاب. استخدمت الباحثة في هذه الدراسة أسلوب العينة العشوائية البسيطة. تكوّنت عينة البحث من صفين، هما الصف الثامن (6) ويضم 28 تلميذًا، والصف الثامن (10) ويضم 22 تلميذًا، حيث اعتُبر الصف الثامن (6) صفًا تجريبيًا، بينما اعتُبر الصف الثامن (10) صفًا ضابطًا. إن تحليل البيانات في هذا البحث ذو طابع كمي، وقد استُخدم فيه التحليل الإحصائي من نوع الإحصاء الدلالي. تم فحص البيانات بواسطة برنامج «مينيتاب»، وأظهرت نتائج اختبار الفرضية قيمة احتمالية (p) بلغت 0.002، مما يشير إلى وجود دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى(p < 0.05) ، بحجم تأثير يُقدّر بحوالي 24.05%. وتدل النتائج على أن استخدام برنامج بريزي يُسهم بشكل كبير في تحسين قدرة التلاميذ على القراءة.

Abstract

This study presents an analytical investigation of the al-maṣdar al-muʾawwal (the nominalized clause) in the Qur'anic text from the perspectives of grammatical analysis (I’rāb) and interpretation (ta’wīl), focusing on how the variety of its syntactic functions directly influences the diversity of exegetical meanings. The research is based on the hypothesis that the multiplicity of grammatical roles played by this construction contributes significantly to the richness of its interpretative dimensions. The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between the syntactic analyses provided by Qur'anic exegetes and the various interpretations derived from these analyses in understanding the meanings of the verses. The researcher adopts a descriptive-analytical approach by examining instances of al-maṣdar al-muʾawwal in selected Qur'anic verses and comparing the views of prominent exegetes. The findings reveal that the nominalized clause serves not only a grammatical function but also plays a significant interpretative role in shaping meaning and identifying rhetorical intentions. The study concludes that integrating grammatical analysis with interpretation is essential for a deeper understanding of the Qur'anic text and for appreciating its linguistic eloquence. يتناول هذا البحث دراسةً تحليليةً للمصدر المؤول في النص القرآني من حيث الإعراب والتأويل، مع التركيز على تأثير تنوع الوظائف النحوية لهذا التركيب على دلالاته التفسيرية، تنطلق الدراسة من فرضية مفادها أن تعدد الوظائف النحوية للمصدر المؤول يؤثر تأثيرًا مباشرًا في تعدد معانيه التفسيرية، تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين التحليل النحوي الذي قدمه المفسرون لهذا المصدر والتأويلات التي نتجت عن هذه التحليلات في فهم معاني الآيات، وقد اعتمدت الباحثة في دراسته على المنهج التحليلي الوصفي من خلال استقراء مواضع المصدر المؤول في بعض الآيات القرآنية ومقارنة آراء المفسرين، أظهرت النتائج: أن المصدر المؤول ليس له دور نحوي فقط، بل يعد عنصرًا تأويليًا يؤثر في توجيه المعنى وتحديد المقاصد البلاغية، وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن الجمع بين الإعراب والتأويل هو أسلوب ضروري لفهم أعمق للنص القرآني ولإبراز بلاغته اللغوية.

Abstract

In the field of education, learning media is one of the keys to successful instruction. Flashcards, which can be illustrated cards that help students understand vocabulary, are among the effective tools. This study focuses on improving the vocabulary mastery of eighth-grade students at MTs Khaira Ummah Kutacane, Southeast Aceh, through the use of digital flashcards. The students face difficulties in understanding lessons and communicating due to a lack of Arabic vocabulary. To collect data, this descriptive qualitative research employed observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of one Arabic language teacher and twenty eighth-grade students. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. To ensure the validity of the collected data, method triangulation was applied. This study is expected to provide insight into the effectiveness and efficiency of using flashcard media, particularly in enhancing students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary. في مجال التعليم، تُعَدُّ الوسائط التعليمية أحد مفاتيح نجاح العملية التعليمية. بطاقات تعليمية، وهي بطاقات مصورة تساعد الطلاب على فهم المفردات، تُعتبَر من الأدوات الفعالة. يركّز هذا البحث على تنمية مفردات طلاب الصف الثامن في مدرسة خير الأمة المتوسطة الإسلامية الخاصة كوتاجاني جنوب شرقي اتشيه، من خلال استخدام بطاقات تعليمية الرقمية. يعاني الطلاب من صعوبات في فهم الدروس والتواصل بسبب نقص مفردات اللغة العربية لديهم. ولجمع البيانات، استخدم هذا البحث الوصفي النوعي الملاحظة والمقابلة والتوثيق. وكان معلم اللغة العربية وعشرون طالبًا من الصف الثامن هم عينة البحث. تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام نموذج مايلز وهوبرمان، والذي يشمل عرض البيانات، واستخلاص النتائج، وتقليل البيانات. ولضمان صحة البيانات، أُجري اختبار مصداقية البيانات من خلال منهج التثليث. ويُتوقَّع أن يقدّم هذا البحث صورة واضحة حول فاعلية وكفاءة التعلم باستخدام بطاقات الفلاش، خصوصًا في مجال إتقان مفردات اللغة العربية.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of interest and understanding of Madrasah Aliyah students in learning Arabic Qawa'id. The dominant traditional learning model with lectures and rote memorization of rules without context is deemed less effective. This study aims to determine the application of the LOK-R Model (Literacy, Orientation, Collaboration, Reflection) in Arabic Qawa'id learning to enhance student engagement and understanding. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data were collected through observation, interviews with Arabic language teachers and involved students, and document analysis of the Lesson Plan (RPP). Data analysis was conducted descriptively qualitative based on the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this research show that the application of the LOK-R model consists of four stages. The first stage is the literacy stage, where students become familiar with the concept through analyzing relevant texts. In this stage, students read and analyze texts to extract examples related to the rule. The second stage is the orientation stage. In this stage, the teacher presented the concept through a systematic understanding and clear explanation of Arabic grammar rules, focusing on applied examples from the texts analyzed by the students in the literacy stage. In the third stage, which is the collaboration stage, students deepen their understanding of the material through joint discussions and analysis. In the fourth stage, the reflection stage, students reflect on the material they have studied in terms of their understanding, comprehension, and application of it, in addition to identifying the difficulties they faced and how to overcome them. أجري هذا البحث لسبب قلة اهتمام طلاب الفصل الثاني بالمدرسة الثانوية نور الإسلام لمبوك الوسطى بتعلم قواعد اللغة العربية وضعف فهمهم لها. وقد ظهرت هذه المشكلة نتيجة اعتماد أساليب التدريس التقليدية التي ترتكز على الحفظ. يهدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة تطبيق نموذج LOK-R في تعلم قواعد اللغة العربية. استخدم هذا البحث المنهج النوعي بنوع دراسة الحالة. تم جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظة، والمقابلات مع معلمي اللغة العربية والطلاب، وتحليل وثائق خطة تنفيذ الدر (RPP). واستخدم الباحث نموذج مايلز وهوبرمان لتحليل البيانات. وأما نتائج هذا البحث أن تطبيق نموذج LOK-R يتكون من أربعة مراحل؛ المرحلة الأولى مرحلة محو الأمية، حيث يتعرف الطلاب على المفهوم من خلال تحليل النصوص ذات الصلة، يقرأ الطلاب في هذه المرحلة النصوص وتحليلها لاستخراج الأمثلة المتعلقة بالقاعدة. والثانية مرحلة التوجيه، في هذه المرحلة قدم المدرس المفهوم فهماً منظماً وشرحًا واضحًا لقواعد اللغة العربية، مع التركيز على الأمثلة التطبيقية من النصوص التي حللها الطلاب في مرحلة محو الأمية. والثالثة مرحلة التعاون، تعمق فهم الطلاب للمواد من خلال المناقشات والتحليلات المشتركة، والرابعة مرحلة التأمل، تأمل الطلاب المادة التي درسوها من جانب فهمهم واستيعابهم وتطبيقهم لها، بالإضافة إلى تحديد الصعوبات التي واجهوها وكيفية التغلب عليها.

Abstract

The Qur'an exhibits a distinctive linguistic style characterized by various rhetorical techniques, including kināyah (euphemism), used to convey divine messages with subtlety and refinement. This study explores the use of kināyah in the Qur'an from both stylistic and pragmatic perspectives and examines its implementation in Arabic language teaching. The research aims to provide an overview of kināyah in the Qur'an, identify its linguistic features through stylistic and pragmatic analysis, and highlight its pedagogical relevance. Theoretically, kināyah is seen as an elegant form of expression that stylistically involves word choice and placement, while pragmatically relating to communicative function, implicature, and speech acts. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive methods, the study employs content and discourse analysis. Key findings include: (a) the Qur'an presents kināyah across various themes—such as morality, psychological traits, and eschatology; (b) stylistically, it reveals semantic deviation and rhetorical strength; (c) pragmatically, it reflects implicit meanings and performative force; and (d) the study of kināyah offers valuable insights for enhancing Arabic language instruction.

Abstract

Many students still experience difficulties in communicating in Arabic, as reflected in their low participation in classroom discussions and their hesitation to interact with teacher. The improvement of speaking skills is closely related to the efforts made by teacher in the learning process. This study aims to analyze teacher’s efforts in improving students’ speaking skills and to identify the obstacles faced by teacher in enhancing students’ speaking skills at Roudhotul Jannah Boarding School. This study employed a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through classroom observations during Arabic language learning activities and interviews with Arabic language teacher and students. The findings reveal that teacher’s efforts to improve students’ speaking skills are carried out through three main aspects: the implementation of Arabic language environment, the use of various teaching methods, and the application of appropriate learning strategies. Teacher also motivate students by consistently using Arabic in daily communication, providing appreciation for students who actively speak Arabic, and encouraging students’ confidence to communicate in Arabic. However, teacher face several obstacles in improving students’ speaking skills, including limited learning media, students’ difficulties in reading Arabic texts, differences in students’ levels of understanding, and students’ shyness in speaking Arabic.

Abstract

This study offers a comprehensive analysis of the role of nature in the poetry of contemporary Jordanian poet Akram Al-Zoubi. It begins with an overview of his biography, then explores the concept of nature poetry, its evolution through various literary periods, and an analysis of selected poems. The research distinguishes between two types of nature: silent (trees, mountains, rivers) and vocal (birds, animals). Al-Zoubi masterfully combines these elements to express personal feelings while addressing social and emotional themes. The study emphasizes the significance of poetic imagery and repetition as stylistic devices that enhance meaning and rhythm. It highlights how Al-Zoubi’s rural environment deeply influences his vocabulary and imagery, positioning nature as a central element rather than mere scenery. Ultimately, the research concludes that Al-Zoubi elevates nature to a humanistic and aesthetic level, shaping his artistic and intellectual vision. His poetry reflects a profound connection to his environment and cultural heritage, imbuing nature with emotional and symbolic depth. This positions him among poets who see nature as a vital source of inspiration and cultural identity, enriching his poetic expression with deep emotional resonance and universal appeal.

Abstract

The Arabic language plays a strategic role in shaping individual religious identity and the social fabric of Muslim communities, particularly within the context of contemporary da'wah practices. This study aims to analyze how Arabic functions both as a linguistic and ideological tool in negotiating personal identity and social relations within da'wah spaces, whether through digital or traditional media. Employing a critical sociolinguistic approach and a descriptive qualitative method, this research explores practices such as code-switching, linguistic register variation, and the adaptation of Arabic to various da'wah contexts, including traditional environments such as Salafi religious institutes and digital da'wah platforms. The findings reveal that Arabic not only serves as a symbol of Islamic religiosity but also performs a semantic function in defining religious authority, social hierarchy, and symbolic capital in contemporary da'wah discourse. In urban settings, Arabic emerges as a symbol of the globalization of Islam and ideological affiliation, whereas in rural contexts, it serves as a means of preserving traditional religious knowledge. The study concludes that context-based Arabic language instruction and the adoption of flexible linguistic strategies are essential to support effective and inclusive da'wah communication in contemporary Muslim societies.

Abstract

This study focuses on problems in learning Speaking’s Ability, including monotonous teaching methods, students’ low speaking achievement, lack of interest and self-confidence, and the need for interactive media to support speaking practice. The population consisted of 353 students, with samples taken from two classes using purposive sampling: class E5 as the control class and class E9 as the experimental class, each consisting of 35 students. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental pre-test–post-test design. Data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test, and the research instruments were pre-test and post-test sheets. The results showed an effect size of 2.35, indicating a strong effect. The post-test scores of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of the control class, with a significance value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000, which is lower than α = 0.05. This result led to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). These findings indicate that vlog media is effective in improving students’ speaking ability, confidence, and engagement in learning Maharah Kalam. Pedagogically, this study implies that teachers are encouraged to integrate vlog-based learning as an alternative instructional media to create more interactive and student-centered speaking activities. This research also contributes empirical evidence for the use of digital media in Arabic language instruction and recommends further studies to explore the application of vlog media in other language skills and educational contexts.
