The Asian Journal of Management Analytics (AJMA) is a journal focused on the theory and application of data analytics and its applications in contemporary business, economics, and management disciplines. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of knowledge management and talent management on employee performance, with employee engagement as a mediating variable at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, University of North Sumatra Branch. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires from 36 employees and analyzed using path analysis with statistical software. The results show that both talent management and knowledge management have significant and positive effects on employee engagement and performance. Furthermore, employee engagement significantly influences performance and mediates the relationship between knowledge and talent management on performance. These findings highlight the importance of effective knowledge and talent management strategies to enhance employee engagement and overall performance.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly impacted the transformation of marketing strategies, particularly within the culinary business sector. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of digital marketing strategies employed by Kedai Etern Street Coffee through the use of social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, with the main objective to increase customer visits and fostering customer loyalty. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation for data collection. Theoretically, this research is grounded in the concept of digital marketing communication. The findings reveal that the use of creative content, active engagement with customers, and collaboration with influencers play a crucial role in enhancing the appeal of Kedai Etern Street Coffee. Additionally, the utilization of analytics to understand customer preferences supports the optimization of their marketing strategies. An integrated and adaptive digital marketing strategy has proven to significantly enhance the competitiveness of Kedai Etern Street Coffee in the era of technology-driven marketing.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Organizational Learning and Inter-firm Resources on Firm Performance, with Innovation, Dynamic Resilience, and Managed Service Quality (MSQ) as intervening variables at PT Telkom Akses. Using quantitative methods with the SEM-PLS approach and SmartPLS tools, data was obtained from 61 General Managers and Managers. The results show Organizational Learning has no significant effect on Firm Performance (T-Value 0.950; P-Value 0.342), while Inter-firm Resources has a significant effect (T-Value 2.234; P-Value 0.026). These findings emphasize the importance of external collaboration and service quality management in improving firm performance.

Abstract

This study evaluates the financial health of five Indonesian state-owned banks—Mandiri, BRI, BNI, BTN, and BSI—implementing the RGEC model (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital) during 2020–2024. A descriptive quantitative approach was used with data from published financial reports. Findings show that all banks maintained a healthy status. NPL ratios were below 5%, and LDR values ranged from 85%–100%, indicating sound risk and liquidity management. GCG ratings were consistently at PK-2, reflecting good governance. Profitability was generally strong, with ROA, ROE, and NIM meeting ideal standards, though BTN showed less efficiency (high BOPO). All banks had CAR values well above regulatory minimums, signaling strong capital positions.

Abstract

In Indonesia's growing beauty industry, online reviews and online ratings are critical in shaping consumer purchase decisions. Local beauty brands like Somethinc leverage eWOM to build trust, while the Korean Wave (Hallyu) influences consumer preferences. This study explores the impact of online reviews and online ratings on Somethinc product purchases, with the Korean Wave as a moderating factor. This study designed using a quantitative research design, data was collected via structured questionnaires, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results reveal that online ratings significantly influence purchase decisions, while online reviews show a weaker effect. The Korean Wave moderates the relationship between online ratings and purchase decisions, enhancing their effect, but has a negative moderating effect on online reviews. These results suggest that local beauty brands like Somethinc can benefit from aligning their marketing strategies with global cultural trends, especially those related to Korean beauty standards.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the impact of work motivation and organizational commitment on employee performance with OCB as an intermediate variable, at PKU Muhammadiyah Purbalingga Hospital. Using a quantitative approach, the data in this study was obtained from the results of a questionnaire on 121 employees from a total population of 223 people who were selected by aksinally using the Slovin formula. The data was analyzed using SEM-based Partial Least Square (PLS) through Smart PLS 4.00 software. The results revealed: (1) work motivation significantly had a positive effect on OCB and employee performance; (2) organizational commitment significantly has a positive effect on OCB and performance; (3) OCB is able to effectively mediate between work motivation and organizational commitment and performance; and (4) OCB itself has been proven to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify Non Value Added (NVA) activities in the harvesting process of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) and formulate optimization measures to improve operational efficiency and work productivity. Based on the results of field observation and work time analysis, eight activities were found that did not provide direct added value to the product, but contributed to the waste of time and resources. Optimization is carried out through a process improvement approach, including the elimination of unnecessary activities, improvement of workflows, the use of motorized tools, and the implementation of digitization of crop yield recording. The results of the implementation showed a decrease in the total harvesting process time from 23,560 seconds to 17,760 seconds, or an increase in time efficiency by 28.57%. These findings show that the systematic identification and reduction of NVA activities can improve operational performance and support the achievement of production targets in the palm oil industry.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of organizational commitment and perceived organizational support on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires from 92 respondents comprising teachers and staff at SMK Muhammadiyah Majenang. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that both organizational commitment and organizational support significantly influence OCB, both directly and indirectly through job satisfaction. The findings highlight the importance of fostering supportive and value-aligned organizational environments to enhance employees’ discretionary behaviors that contribute to educational effectiveness.

Abstract

The increasing accessibility of financial markets has created more opportunities for individuals to invest, yet participation rates remain low in certain regions. This study examines key factors influencing investment intentions through a systematic literature review guided by the PRISMA framework, analyzing 44 articles. The findings classify investment intention determinants into five categories: personal, psychological, company-related, social, and technological. Financial literacy, the TPB’s component, and perceived risk are the most frequently discussed and significantly impact investment intention. Additionally, social media and influencers play a crucial role in enhancing financial awareness and information dissemination, thereby encouraging individual investment intentions. The growing interest in sustainable investment also opens new opportunities for individual investments. These results have significant implications for the development of investment intention literature and offer practical guidance to policymakers and financial institutions in formulating strategies that enhance individual investment intentions.

Abstract

Nurse performance is still a factor that needs to be considered and improved, especially in the health service sector in Cilacap, Indonesia. This study has the aim to determine the effects of work-life balance and compensation on performance, with a mediating variable, which is job satisfaction. The questionnaire was given directly using a quantitative approach with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The population in this study was 215 and the sample used was 140 respondents from nurses at Cilacap Regional Hospital. This study used SEM-PLS to analyze the data. The findings showed that, even though compensation did not have a direct effect on performance and work-life balance did not have a direct effect on job satisfaction, both had significant effects on job satisfaction, which means there is a positive relationship between work-life balance with compensation on performance through job satisfaction.
