Abstract

The parameter of the success of a project can be seen through the effectivenes of time and cost and the quality produced.  Several previous studies showed that the factor causing the achievement of the effectivenes of time and cost is the labor, materials and equipment, but, in general, a project has problem with the time and cost due to the incident of work delays and cost increases. The same thing also happens to the construction project that becomes the case discussed in this study. In this project, the lengthening of project completion time occured because of work delay that time effectivenes could be achieved that the cost effectiveness was not achieved either. Tne problem discussed in this study was what factors that influenced the effectiveness of time and cost in a construction project. The samples for this study were all of the project activities which belonged to the critical paths or condition. The data obtained were analyzed through Critical Path Method (CPM) and Path Analysis. The result of this study showed that (1) simultaneously, labor, materials, and equipment had positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of time, (2) partially, labor had positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of time, (3) partially, materials had positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of time, (4) partially, equipment did not have significant influence on the effectiveness of time,  (5) simultaneously, labor, materials, equipment and effectiveness of time had positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of cost, (6) partially, labor did not have significant influence on the effectiveness of cost, (7) partially, materials did not have significant influence on the effectiveness of cost, (8) partially, equipment did not have significant influence on the effectiveness of cost, (9) simultaneously, the effectiveness of time had positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of cost, (10) the direct influence of labor was bigger than the indirect influence of labor, (11) the indirect influence of materials was bigger than the direct influence of equipment, and (12) the indirect influence of materials was bigger than the direct influence of equipment.

Abstract

The readiness of the Province of Sumatera utara in the era of digitalization in the face of free market competition inevitably starts from the transformation of human resources (HR). Digital HR transformation is very important in an era where technological disruption is the usual norm where revolutionary changes occur but also the phenomenon of evolution in organizations. In addition to digitalization, the transition to business with technology at the centre also requires changes in technology, education, skills and organizational innovation. This cannot be denied, including the government in increasing human resources is one way that can be done to be able to compete in the international world. This study is intended to obtain data and information about the transformation of HR in Sumatera utara in order to increase competitiveness in the digital era. The transformation of HR in Sumatera utara in the digital era was shaped by the dimensions of the technology and innovation.

Abstract

Abstract— The third wave of the coffee era has a significant impact on increasing the coffee drinkers in Sumatera Utara. It saw from the ease of finding local coffee shops in this area. Therefore, the higher levels of competition made much local coffee shops in Sumatera Utara facing a high rate of failure. One reason many local coffee shops fail to manage their stores in the long run is that, local coffee shops in Sumatera Utara do not yet understand the preferences of coffee drinkers in the third wave coffee era. This study focuses on how the coffee business trend in the third wave era can be enhanced through preference and value creation based on Global Supply Chain and consumer preference as theoretical background. This study utilizes non-probability sampling and there 97 coffee shop owners were participated. The result of this study showed that value creation has a significant effect on the Global Supply Chain, value creation has no significant effect on preference. Value creation has a significant effect on Global Supply Chain through consumer preference in the third wave coffee business in Sumatera Utara. This study can be helping business consumers in Sumatera Utara to understand the factors of consumer preferences and create unique values for each coffee shop to gain competitive advantages.

Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to identify the responsibility of business actors in selling prescription drugs. If left uncontrolled, this will be very dangerous for the community as according to the Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 73 of 2016 concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Pharmacies that each sale of prescription drugs is obligatory in a pharmacy service facility where pharmacy practices are carried out by pharmacists. However, there are many cases of selling prescription drugs online without following the rules and violating Law No. 5 of 1997 on Psychotropic and Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. There are many cases of selling psychotropic drugs online without a doctor's prescription. Business actors who violate the Consumer Protection Laws, Law No. 8 of 1999 in Article 3 namely raising awareness of business actors about the importance of consumer protection to grow honest and responsible attitudes in doing business. The dose of the drug and the procedure to use provided are not according to the rules as the prescription drugs can only be purchased with a doctor's prescription. Thus, it can be said that this is an illegal activity. This incident becomes more serious as it has a dangerous impact on the health of the Indonesian people as consumers.Keywords: Prescription Drugs, Online Business, Distribution of Drugs.Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggung jawab pelaku usaha dalam menjual obat-obatan golongan obat keras secara online. Hal ini sangat berbahaya bagi masyarakat Indonesia jika tetap dibiarkan, Karena aturan yang berlaku di Indonesia menurut Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No. 73 Tahun 2016 tentang Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Apotek. Bahwa setiap menjualan obat keras wajib di sarana pelayanan kefarmasian tempat dilakukan praktik kefarmasian oleh Apoteker. Namun banyak kasus ditemukan penjualan obat keras secara online tanpa mengikuti aturan dan melanggar Undang-Undang No.5 Tahun 1997 tentang Psikotropika dan Undang-Undang No. 35 tahun 2009 Tentang Narkotika. Sering terjadi kasus Penjualan obat keras golongan Psikotropika secara online tanpa resep dokter. Maka pelaku usaha yang melakukan hal tersebut melanggar aturan yang berlaku pada Undang-Undang perlindungan konsumen UU nomor 8 tahun 1999 pada pasal 3 yaitu menumbuhkan kesadaran pelaku usaha mengenai pentingnya perlindungan konsumen sehingga tumbuh sikap yang jujur dan bertanggungjawab dalam berusaha. Dosis obat yang di berikan dan aturan pakai yang di berikan semua tidak sesuai aturan, karena obat keras ini hanya dapat di beli melalui resep dokter .Dapat di katakan ini adalah kegiatan illegal. Kejadian ini menajadi lebih serius karena menimbulkan dampak berbahaya bagi Kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia sebagai konsumenKata kunci: Obat Keras, Bisnis Online, Peredaran Obat

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat tentang pengaruh langsung dan pengaruh tidak langsung dari Karakteristik Pekerjaan, Karakteristik Individu, terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil melalui Kepuasan Kerja di Propinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data utama dari beberapa daerah terpilih, mengambil 195 sampel responden dari 379 populasi yang diteliti. Dalam proses pengambilan hipotesa Penulis menggunakan Structural Equational Modelling (SEM) dengan perangkat Smart-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh langsung dan pengaruh tidak langsung dari Karakteristik Pekerjaan, Karakteristik Individu, terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil melalui Kepuasan Kerja di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of Sales Promotion, Hedonic Shopping Motivation and Shopping Lifestyle on Impulse Buying on Shopee E-Commerce Customers in Medan Sunggal District. The research model used is associative research, where the variables are measured using a Likert scale. The data collection method is carried out using a questionnaire with a list of questions or questionnaires that have been prepared in advance and given to respondents. The population in this study is Shopee E-commerce customers in Medan Sunggal District, Kampung Lalang, Medan City, totaling 133,939 respondents. Because of the large population, the authors took 1 Kelurahan, namely Kelurahan Lalang, which amounted to 21,268 respondents. The sampling method using the Slovin method in this study, the sample obtained was 100 respondents. Data processing using SPSS Version 22 software, with descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that (1) partially Sales Promotion affects Impulse Buying (2) partially Hedonic Shopping Motivation affects Impulse Buying (3) Partially Shopping Lifestyle variables affect Impulse Buying (4) Simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence between Sales Promotion, Hedonic Shopping Motivation and Shopping Lifestyle on Impulse Buying on Shopee E-Commerce Customers in Medan Sunggal District.

Abstract

Global Value Chain is a useful tool for tracking global production patterns for improving the economies of countries in the global economy with highly complex industrial interactions explicitly for poor and developing countries. This study seeks to link several previous studies, which discussed GVC with Islamic economic Fiqh. Of these, the objective of the current investigation is to study a GVC through Islamic economic framework (Fiqh). This study designed using Qualitative approach with reviewing the relevant literature (themes and topics). The results of this study found that the global dimension of GVC through the concept of Fiqh is input output, which consists of the sharia principles such as moral, quality and priority scale. Further, its distribution intended for Da'wah, education, social and economy. For geographical scope, it consists of a trade negotiation space of various countries. In conclusion, the structure of government in spending money to society who are weak in the faith will lead to deviation of economic activity from the right path. Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor yang sangat potensial dalam memberikan kontribusi untuk meningkatkan perekonomian suatu negara. Pariwisata sebagai penggerak sektor ekonomi dapat menjadi solusi bagi pemerintah dalam meningkatkan pembangunan ekonomi. Sektor pariwisata tidak hanya menyentuh kelompok-kelompok ekonomi tertentu tetapi dapat menjangkau kalangan bawah. Pengembangan kepariwisataan dapat membawa banyak manfaat dan keuntungan. Pembangunan kepariwisataan diarahkan pada peningkatan pariwisata menjadi sektor andalan yang mampu menyaingi kegiatan ekonomi lainnya, termasuk kegiatan sektor lain yang terkait. Inisiatif menjadikan Taman Agro Wisata Siba Indah menjadi destinasi kunjungan wisata merupakan inisiatif salah seorang dosen Universitas Medan Area. Taman Agro Wisata Siba Indah yang dulunya merupakan pulau yang tidak berpenghuni dan hanya di tumbuhi oleh tumbuhan laut yaitu bakau, kini setelah dibenah sepanjang perairan ini berubah menjadi sebuah pulau yang indah. Akses jalan menuju Taman Agro Wisata Siba Indah sendiri sangat mudah dijangkau bisa menggunakan motor atau pun mobil pribadi. Kendala utama pengembangan wisata Taman Agro Wisata Siba Indah adalah kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan unsur-unsur yang ada dalam desa yang berfungsi sebagai atribut produk wisata, masyarakat kurang mampu menyediakan dan memenuhi serangkaian kebutuhan perjalanan wisata seperti daya tarik maupun fasilitas pendukungnya.

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to analyze determination of existence attributes of Micro Social Media Influencers (Micro SMIs) and find the highest contribution value in existence attributes. This study focused on respondents aged between 18-34 years who were followers of Instagram @mahasiswa_universitasriau (MUR) accounts and used as a reference. There are 5 variables used in existence attributes of Micro SMIs, Such as Content, Expertise, Attractiveness, credibility, and Trustworthiness. The biggest cross loading values for each variable is perception of usefulness, communication skills, empathy, popularity, trusted followers. The lowest cross loading value of each variable is the frequency of posts, experience, background similarity, close to followers, and honest.
