Abstract

This article was created with the aim of knowing what factors influence student behavior, what efforts are made by the guidance counselor in overcoming them, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in dealing with behavior violating student rules. The supporting factors for the guidance counselor in overcoming the behavior of SMPN 1 Rao Selatan students are cooperation between teachers, the existence of a habitutation program carried out at school, collaboration with parents of students, and motivation from students. Whil the inhibiting factors for the counseling teacher in overcoming behavior violating the rules are parents, association outside of school, and the lack of awareness of the students themselves.

Abstract

Education is one way for individuals to explore their potential. Education is a necessity of human rights. Every individual has the right to receive education according to his wishes and needs. Interest in continuing education at tertiary institutions is of course the desire of every individual. So in this case it is necessary to study the factors that support students’ interest in continuing higher education. In describing these factors, researchers used a qualitative approach with interview and observation methods. Based on the results of research conducted that the supporting factors of student interest in MAN 1 Bukittinggi City are influenced by internal or external factors and external factors.

Abstract

Not all children are born to be perfect human beings, but indeed no human being is perfect. However, there are children who are born with deficiencies in them. Be it his mental state or not normal. However, with this deficiency, those who have special needs are not hindered from continuing to carry out the laws that God has set for each of his servants, regardless of the background of every human being. They also have the right to education in general. And this is the task of Islamic education itself to provide the best for children with special needs. Helping to develop potential, skills, physical, moral, and so on. The teachings developed by Islamic education itself must also be adapted to the abilities of children with special needs. As is the case in this study, the researcher conducted a qualitative model study by conducting interviews and documentation as well as narrowing down the information obtained during the interviews. The purpose of this study is to find out the Islamic religious learning system for mentally retarded children. In this study, more specifically towards mentally retarded children where they have relatively low thinking abilities. Thus, teachers must take the initiative to teach Islamic education material that can be grasped by mentally retarded children. Like, providing ablution videos. In order to provide an understanding of mental retardation and practice and not just theory. Therefore, communication in learning also needs repetition of its explanation. This is due to the limitations of mentally retarded children in processing compound sentences.

Abstract

The dynamics of learning in Indonesia are very dynamic accompanied by increasingly rapid technological developments. The purpose of this study is to describe an independent curriculum that carries the concept of independent learning in the perspective of constructivism philosophy. The method used in this research is library research using a philosophical approach (analyzing the constructivism philosophy of the independent curriculum). The data collection technique used is the documentation technique which is carried out by collecting data sourced from books in libraries and the internet, as well as articles and journals related to various writings in research. The results of this study indicate that the independent curriculum that carries the concept of independent learning is very much in line with the philosophical theory of constructivism which encourages teachers and students to construct their own knowledge. The learning process is highly emphasized to create innovations that can motivate students to build their own learning experiences according to conditions. The curriculum that carries the concept of independent learning emphasizes student-centered learning (student center), the teacher is no longer a center of learning but a facilitator who helps facilitate students to explore their own knowledge, chooses a learning style that suits them, gives complete freedom to students to be able to grow a character that is brave, confident, independent, and disciplined.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the skills of educators at SMP Negeri 20 Bandung by applying LMS, namely Google Apps For Education (GAFE). This research is a school action research using a quantitative approach. The population of this research is all teaching staff at SMP Negeri 20 Bandung. The sampling technique used was total sampling, which used the entire population of 46 educators. The data collection technique is a direct observation of the Google Classroom application. Data collection tool in the form of observation sheets. Data collection was carried out three times during the research period: pre-cycle, cycle 1, and 2. The data analysis technique used started with data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The study results show that the application of the Learning Management System through Google Apps For Education can improve the skills of educators at SMP Negeri 20 Bandung City. The value of pre-cycle skills is 31.46% (very low). After the implementation of cycle 1, the skills of educators increased to 56.17% (high enough); in cycle 2 it also managed to rise to 73.22% (high).

Abstract

As Christians, the church is a place forour knowledge and spirituality to develop. Therefore, faith development in the church is a good step to be taught from children to adults. One of the Christian activities that can grow His faith and love for God's Word is to carry out sidi. But before carrying out sidi, first to do catechism. Catechism is a part that cannot be separated, especially for adults. But basically, the learning model for catechism is something we need to pay attention to so that children who grow up in faith are interested and can see God's gifts. The learning model is a challenge to the church so that it can innovate for maximum teaching. In addition to the learning model for catechism children, especially for children who have autism, it can be a new thing for the church. Because the majority of churches still do not realize that children with autism need special attention in the catechism learning model.

Abstract

This research departs from the phenomenon that there are inmates or commonly referred to as prison inmates who have a low level of self-confidence compared to others, where inmates feel embarrassed to interact, there is past trauma and negative thoughts that are more prominent in them. These negative thoughts are often experienced by individuals who experience problems with low self-esteem. Individuals think that they are different from other people, causing them to feel inferior in socializing. The goal to be achieved in this study is to determine whether there are significant differences before and after being given individual counseling to increase the confidence of prisoners in Class II B Penitentiary in Lubuk Basung. This research is a pre-experimental research model of One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The population is Class II B Penitentiary Prisoners of Lubuk Basung while the research sample is inmates ranging in age from 20 to 35 years as many as 5 inmates who are indicated to have a low level of self-confidence based on non-random sampling techniques and recommendations from prison staff. The data collection instrument is a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques used non-parametric statistical tests using the Wilcoxon rack test, hypothesis testing using the Z test (Wilcoxon) with the help of Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 24. The results of research that have been known from the results of the Z test (Wilcoxon) show the difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. From the results of the calculation of the Wilcoxon test, a significant value of 0.043 was obtained. Based on the applicable provisions, it is known that the results of the Wilcoxon Asymp.Sig test. (2-tailed) < α (α = 0.05) which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. From the results of the calculation of the Wilcoxon test, it can be concluded that self-confidence increases after being given treatment, namely individual counseling.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Blended Learning on learning outcomes for class X IPS in learning two-dimensional art at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. This study uses a quantitative method with a true experimental type. The research population is class X IPS. The research sample used a random sampling technique. Research instruments in the form of tests and observations. The data analysis technique used the t-test technique by utilizing the SPSS 16 program. The findings in this study were that class X IPS 1 students were classified as good using blended learning compared to classes X IPS 2 and 3. The results of this study indicated that there was a significant effect of learning Blended Learning on the learning outcomes of class X IPS students in learning two-dimensional art at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. This can be seen from the completeness of the learning outcomes of students who use blended learning, the experimental class which completes as many as 35 students (100%), not complete (0%). Whereas in the control class with conventional learning, the completeness of student learning outcomes was only 24 students (65%), 13 students (35%) did not complete.

Abstract

Things that influence students' aggressive behavior at school are peer association and viewing of violence on social media. The aims of the research are (1) to find out how much influence peer association partially has on students' aggressive behavior (2) to find out how much influence social media violence shows partially on student aggressive behavior (3) find out how much influence peer association and social media violence shows simultaneously to the aggressive behavior of students. Associative type quantitative research methods. The research population for class IX students at SMPN 3 Lubuk Attitude is 120 students. The sampling technique used the Proportional Random Sampling technique and obtained a sample of 92 students. The research instruments were the peer association scale, the scale of social media violence broadcasts and the aggressive behavior scale which were compiled and developed by the researchers themselves. Data analysis is descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results showed that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence of peer association (X1) partially on aggressive behavior of students (Y) with a significant value of 0.008 <0.05; (2) There is a positive and significant effect of the social media violence display variable (X2) partially on the aggressive behavior of students (Y) with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05; (3) There is a positive influence between peer association variables (X1) and social media violence shows (X2) together on aggressive behavior of students (Y) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems faced by counseling teachers that students do not participate in the learning process. In general, in carrying out the learning process, teachers should be able to apply various learning methods and strategies that can develop students' potential and are also able to stimulate the growth and development of student creativity. In fostering students' creativity, counseling teachers/counselors can provide services to students according to student needs. The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the Forms of Creativity of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Guidance and Counseling Services during the Covid 19 Pandemic at SMP N 2 Bukittinggi.This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The key informant I is the counseling teacher and the supporting informant is V students at SMP N 2 Bukittinggi. Data was collected through observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display, data conclusion and verification. Data validation techniques by comparing the results of key informant interviews with supporting informants and comparing what was said in general and privately. The results of this study conclude that the form of creativity that has been carried out by the counseling teacher at SMP N 2 Bukittinggi, namely: 1) The counseling teacher has been creative in providing counseling services to students, 2) During this pandemic the counseling teacher used e counseling in the learning process to make it easier students in participating in the learning process, 3) Providing counseling services using email to students, namely online counseling rooms, 4) Providing counseling services using chat to students such as via WhatsApp, 5) Providing counseling services using video conferencing to students such as zoom meetings, 6) Students very enthusiastic in participating in counseling services using e counseling.
