Abstract

Self-efficacy has received attention in various educational studies because it is believed to play a role in increasing students’ motivation, persistence, and academic achievement. However, studies that specifically discuss the contribution of self-efficacy to Al-Qur’an Hadith learning outcomes at the madrasah tsanawiyah level remain relatively limited, particularly in the context of MTsN 4 Padang Pariaman. This study aims to analyze the contribution of self-efficacy to the Al-Qur’an Hadith learning outcomes of Grade VIII students at MTsN 4 Padang Pariaman. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research participants consisted of 50 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a self-efficacy questionnaire and documentation of Al-Qur’an Hadith learning outcome scores, then analyzed through descriptive statistics, normality testing, homogeneity testing, linearity testing, Pearson Product Moment correlation testing, partial testing or t-test, and coefficient of determination testing with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results showed that students’ self-efficacy level was in the high category and their Al-Qur’an Hadith learning outcomes were in the good category. However, the hypothesis testing results showed that self-efficacy did not contribute significantly to Al-Qur’an Hadith learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.406 (> 0.05), a correlation coefficient of 0.120, and a coefficient of determination of 0.014. These findings indicate that Al-Qur’an Hadith learning outcomes are influenced not only by self-efficacy but also by other factors that were not analyzed in this study. The conclusion of this study affirms that self-efficacy has not become a main predictor of Al-Qur’an Hadith learning outcomes in the context of this study. The implications of this study contribute to the development of Islamic educational psychology studies and serve as input for madrasahs in designing more comprehensive learning strategies to improve students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pesantren-based business units need to develop adaptive marketing strategies to increase competitiveness and sales volume, including through free shipping programs that can reduce consumers’ shopping cost burdens. This study aims to analyze the effect of the free shipping program on product sales volume at the Ibbien Mart Business Unit of Pondok Pesantren Bumi Damai Al-Muhibbin. This study used a quantitative approach involving consumers and employees of Ibbien Mart as the research population. The sample consisted of 52 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed through validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing in the form of t-tests and F-tests with the assistance of the SPSS program. The results showed that the free shipping program had a positive and significant effect on sales volume, with a calculated t-value of 90.161, which was greater than the table t-value of 0.254, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.994 showed that the free shipping program contributed 99.4% to changes in sales volume, while 0.6% was influenced by other factors outside the research model. The conclusion of this study affirms that the free shipping program can serve as an effective marketing strategy to increase sales volume in pesantren-based business units. The implications of this study indicate the importance of optimizing marketing strategies aligned with the principles of Islamic economics, such as justice, transparency, and public benefit, so that promotional programs not only increase sales but also support business sustainability and provide benefits for consumers.

Abstract

The development of visual-based history learning media has received attention in various studies, but studies that specifically position the needs analysis of interactive infographic media to train Change and Continuity thinking ability remain limited. This study aims to analyze the need for developing interactive infographic media in history learning at senior high schools. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a needs analysis design at the initial stage of the ADDIE model. The research participants consisted of one history teacher, eight students as interview informants, and 36 students of class XI.F8 at SMA Negeri 1 Lareh Sago Halaban as essay test participants selected purposively. Data were collected through observation, interviews, essay tests, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and calculation of the percentage of students’ answers. The results showed that history learning was still dominated by the use of textbooks and teacher explanations, while students’ ability to understand change and continuity remained low. In the first question, 69% of students were unable to answer correctly, whereas in the second question, 83% of students were unable to answer correctly. These findings affirm that interactive infographic media is needed as a visual, concise, directed, and relevant alternative for history learning to train Change and Continuity thinking ability. The conclusion of this study indicates the importance of developing history learning media that can help students understand the relationship between change and continuity more systematically. The implications of this study provide an initial basis for developing interactive infographic media at the design and development stages of the ADDIE model, as well as input for history teachers in designing learning that is more visual, contextual, and oriented toward historical thinking skills.

Abstract

Although contemporary food and beverage trends have received attention in food studies and consumer behavior research, studies that specifically examine their influence on community consumption patterns and opportunities for healthy food innovation in Gorontalo remain limited. This study aims to explore the influence of contemporary food trends on community consumption patterns and identify opportunities for developing healthy food products in Gorontalo. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach involving consumers and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the food and beverage sector. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires administered to consumers and MSME actors. The results showed that contemporary food and beverage products, such as coffee, boba, fast food, and various modern snacks, remain the main choices of the community, particularly students and young people. Consumption preferences were influenced by practicality, taste, price, attractive packaging, and the influence of social media. However, increasing public health awareness has also encouraged interest in low-sugar products, fruit-based beverages, and healthier traditional foods. This study also found opportunities for healthy food innovation through the development of Gorontalo traditional foods with a more modern concept without eliminating their nutritional value and local identity. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of balancing market trends and health aspects in food product development. The implications of this study contribute to understanding changes in community consumption patterns and provide practical input for MSME actors in developing healthy food products, improving product quality, and utilizing digital media to reach consumers who are increasingly health-conscious.

Abstract

Self-confidence is an important psychological aspect of adolescent development because it influences communication skills, social participation, and the ability to express opinions. In student organizations, self-confidence supports students in taking initiative, participating actively, and carrying out organizational responsibilities. However, a Training Needs Analysis conducted among Student Council (OSIS) members at SMA Negeri 13 Medan showed that several members still experienced low self-confidence, hesitation in expressing opinions during discussions, and dependence on others’ directions. This study aims to examine the implementation of self-confidence training for OSIS members at SMA Negeri 13 Medan and analyze changes in participants’ understanding and self-confidence before and after the training. A mixed-methods approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design and interviews was employed. The participants comprised 39 OSIS members selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using pretest–posttest instruments, interviews, and a self-confidence scale based on De Angelis’ theory. Quantitative data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test with JASP software, while qualitative data were used to support interpretation of the training implementation. The findings indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding and self-confidence after participating in the training. Participants also responded positively to the training materials, methods, and implementation process. The study concludes that self-confidence training can support students’ courage to express opinions, increase active participation, and encourage initiative in organizational activities. This study contributes to adolescent development and student organization training by demonstrating the practical value of structured self-confidence training in strengthening students’ communication readiness, organizational participation, and leadership potential.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed society’s payment system from cash transactions to e-wallet-based non-cash transactions that offer convenience, speed, and efficiency. This phenomenon also occurs among students, including at Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember, which has supported the implementation of digital payment systems through various technology-based services. This study aims to analyze the effects of cashless lifestyle, perceived ease of use, and environmental awareness on the intention to use e-wallets among students at Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember, both partially and simultaneously. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The research population consisted of all active undergraduate students, while the sample comprised 388 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed online using Google Forms, then analyzed through instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that cashless lifestyle, perceived ease of use, and environmental awareness each had a positive and significant effect on the intention to use e-wallets. Simultaneously, the three variables also had a positive and significant effect on the intention to use e-wallets among students at Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. The conclusion of this study affirms that increasing cashless lifestyle, perceived ease of use, and environmental awareness can encourage students’ intention to use e-wallets as a means of digital transactions. The implications of this study provide practical contributions to the development of digital payment services in higher education environments and serve as input for e-wallet service providers in designing usage strategies that are easier, more efficient, and oriented toward environmental awareness.

Abstract

The rapid development of the Muslim fashion industry in Indonesia has intensified competition among local hijab businesses, making it necessary for business actors to understand the factors that influence consumers’ purchasing decisions. However, studies that specifically examine the effects of product quality and price on local Muslim fashion businesses remain relatively limited. This study aims to analyze the effects of product quality and price on consumers’ purchasing decisions at Toko Vivi Jilbab Sungai Kambang Jambi. This study used a quantitative approach with a causal design. The research population consisted of 48,130 consumers, with a sample of 100 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 32. The results showed that product quality had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (t = 5.439; p < 0.001), while price also had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (t = 3.021; p = 0.003). Simultaneously, product quality and price had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (F = 91.028; p < 0.001), with an Adjusted R² value of 0.645. Product quality was the most dominant factor influencing consumers’ purchasing decisions. The conclusion of this study affirms that purchasing decisions are formed through consumers’ evaluation of product benefits and the appropriateness of the prices offered. The implications of this study indicate the importance of maintaining product quality and implementing competitive pricing strategies to increase purchasing decisions and strengthen the competitiveness of local hijab businesses.

Abstract

The integration of the pesantren curriculum and the national curriculum is an important strategy for Islamic educational institutions in producing graduates with strong academic, religious, and character competencies. However, the success of this integration is strongly determined by the effectiveness of educational management implemented by the institution. This study aims to analyze the management of the integration of the pesantren curriculum and the national curriculum and its contribution to the quality of santri graduates at Pondok Pesantren Ar-Rahman Malang. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with informants consisting of the pesantren leader, deputy head for curriculum, teachers, ustaz, and santri. The data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model through the stages of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was tested through source, technique, and time triangulation. The results showed that curriculum integration was implemented systematically through management functions that included planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation of the integrated curriculum was realized through a combination of academic learning, diniyah education, Qur’an tahfiz, character development, and extracurricular activities. This integration had a positive impact on graduate quality, as indicated by improved academic achievement, mastery of religious knowledge, social skills, leadership ability, and the strengthening of Islamic character. The conclusion of this study affirms that effective curriculum integration management makes an important contribution to shaping santri graduates who are excellent, competitive, and noble in character. These findings imply the need to strengthen integrated curriculum governance in pesantren as a model of Islamic education that is adaptive to national academic demands while remaining consistent in preserving Islamic values.

Abstract

Although school bullying has received considerable scholarly attention, understanding of the psychological processes underlying bullying perpetration among high school students remains limited. This study aims to explore the psychology of bullying perpetrators by examining why students engage in aggressive behavior toward their peers. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through triangulation involving in-depth interviews, participant and non-participant observation, and documentation studies, including school records and incident reports. Informants were selected purposively based on their involvement in bullying incidents and demographic variation. Data were analyzed inductively using thematic analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation, member checking, and audit trails. The findings indicate that bullying behavior develops through habituation in social interactions, in which actions initially perceived as humorous or as attempts to gain peer approval are repeatedly reinforced by laughter, encouragement, and imitation. Key motivating factors include the need for recognition and dominance, emotional instability, low impulse control, past experiences of abusive treatment or authoritarian parenting, and unstable friendship patterns. However, some perpetrators developed moral awareness after recognizing the psychological impact of their actions on victims, indicating the potential for empathetic and rehabilitative interventions. These findings suggest that bullying is not merely the result of individual intention but emerges from complex interactions between internal factors, such as emotion and affective regulation, and external factors, including peer, family, and school environments. This study contributes to bullying prevention literature by highlighting the psychological and social mechanisms underlying perpetrator behavior and provides practical implications for integrated interventions, including social-emotional skills education, proactive school policies, parenting programs, and restorative approaches to support the recovery of both perpetrators and victims.

Abstract

The suboptimal learning outcomes of students on the respiratory system topic and the limited use of three-dimensional (3D) digital learning media in elementary schools indicate the need for more concrete, interactive, and contextual media innovation. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using the Sketchfab platform as a learning medium in improving IPAS learning outcomes on the human respiratory system topic in Grade V at SDN 2 Kapuan. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample was determined using saturated sampling by involving all 27 Grade V students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observation sheets, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with the assistance of SPSS software. The normality test results showed that the data were not normally distributed; therefore, hypothesis testing was conducted using the nonparametric Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed an increase in the average learning outcome score of 27.67 points, from 41.63 in the pretest to 69.30 in the posttest. The Wilcoxon test results obtained a Z value of -4.350 with an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the use of Sketchfab media had a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study affirms that 3D object-based interactive Sketchfab media is effective for improving elementary school students’ IPAS learning outcomes on the human respiratory system topic. These findings imply the importance of integrating 3D visual technology as a learning strategy to help teachers present abstract material in a more concrete, interactive, and appropriate manner according to learning needs in the digital era.
