Abstract

The development of technology-based teaching materials has become an important need in 21st-century learning, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which is oriented not only toward mastery of knowledge but also toward the formation of students’ attitudes, worship practices, internalization of religious values, and social behavior that reflects Islamic teachings. This study aims to analyze the need for developing a SMART PAI Module, design the SMART Module, and determine its feasibility as an interactive digital teaching material to improve students’ religiosity at SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan. This study used a level-one Research and Development method with the 4D model, which includes the stages of define, design, development, and disseminate, with a focus on preparing a product design without testing its effectiveness. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed through a module feasibility test based on material and media aspects. The developed SMART Module was designed as an open and interactive digital teaching material that integrates PAI content, learning multimedia, practice questions, evaluation, and religious reflection features that can be accessed independently through digital devices. The results of the study are directed toward the production of a feasible SMART PAI Module design that can be used as an innovative, engaging, and interactive alternative teaching material to support the improvement of students’ religiosity. The conclusion of the study affirms that the development of the SMART PAI Module has the potential to strengthen the quality of Islamic religious learning through the integration of technology, independent learning, and reflection on religious values. The implications of this study provide practical contributions for PAI teachers and schools in developing digital teaching materials that are adaptive to the needs of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

Students’ low sustainability awareness has become one of the problems in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in elementary schools, particularly because environmental care material still tends to be oriented toward cognitive aspects and has not been optimal in shaping environmentally caring attitudes and behavior. This study aims to develop a PAI Student Worksheet (LKPD) on environmental care material based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) and to determine the level of feasibility and attractiveness of the product in supporting the improvement of sustainability awareness among sixth-grade students at SDN Sumbersari 2 Megaluh Jombang. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4-D development model, which includes the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research subjects consisted of one material expert, one learning media expert, and 15 sixth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation sheets, and student response questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively using quantitative and qualitative approaches with percentages. The results of the study show that the developed LKPD obtained material expert validation of 90% in the highly feasible category and media expert validation of 81% in the highly feasible category. Students’ responses to the use of the LKPD obtained a percentage of 89.33% in the highly attractive category. The conclusion of the study affirms that the PAI LKPD on environmental care material based on PjBL is feasible for use as teaching material and has the potential to support the improvement of students’ sustainability awareness. The implications of this study indicate that project-based LKPD can serve as an innovative alternative teaching material that not only supports cognitive achievement but also encourages the formation of environmentally caring attitudes and behavior through active, contextual, and real-experience-based learning.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning on thaharah material in elementary schools is still dominated by lecture methods and the use of textbooks, resulting in relatively low student involvement in the learning process. Thaharah material, which is conceptual in nature and requires direct practice, causes some students to experience difficulties in understanding the types of impurities, purification tools, and the correct procedures for purification. This study aims to develop Interactive Dakon media on thaharah material at SDN Sumbersari 2 Megaluh Jombang and to determine the level of feasibility and attractiveness of the developed media. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of one material expert, one media expert, and 13 fifth-grade students at SDN Sumbersari 2 Megaluh Jombang. Data were collected through expert validation sheets and student response questionnaires, then analyzed using a five-point Likert scale and a percentage formula. The results of the study show that the Interactive Dakon media obtained material expert validation of 79% in the feasible category and media expert validation of 95% in the highly feasible category. Student responses showed a very high level of attractiveness, with several indicators reaching 100% and other indicators reaching 92.3%, which falls into the highly attractive category. The conclusion of the study affirms that Interactive Dakon media is feasible for use in PAI learning on thaharah material because it can provide a more concrete, interactive, engaging, and enjoyable learning experience. The implications of this study indicate that the use of traditional games as learning media can serve as an innovative alternative to increase student involvement while integrating elements of local culture into PAI learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Speaking ability is an important language skill that needs to be developed among elementary school students, but observations show that some students are still less active and less confident in expressing opinions during Indonesian language learning. Although group discussion has been widely recommended as a cooperative learning strategy, studies that specifically measure its relationship with speaking ability at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level remain limited. This study aims to determine the relationship between group discussion and students’ speaking ability in the fifth-grade Indonesian language subject at MI Ma’arif Kalibeber Mojotengah in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design, involving 25 fifth-grade students selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire, speaking test, observation, and documentation, then analyzed through descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results of the study show that the group discussion variable obtained a mean score of 64.56 in the good category, while speaking ability obtained a mean score of 16.12 in the good category. The results of the Spearman Rank correlation test showed a correlation coefficient of 0.983 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a very strong and significant relationship between group discussion and students’ speaking ability. The conclusion of the study affirms that structured group discussion activities play an important role in strengthening students’ courage, fluency, and confidence in speaking. The implications of this study provide theoretical contributions to the development of cooperative learning and speaking skills literature, as well as practical implications for teachers and madrasahs in designing discussion-based learning to improve students’ oral communication.

Abstract

Students’ low understanding of historical relics and the limited connection between the material and the surrounding cultural environment indicate the need for learning media that are contextual, engaging, and relevant to elementary school students’ learning experiences. This study aims to develop a Digital Flipbook based on Kediri local wisdom and to test its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students’ learning outcomes on historical relics material in fifth-grade elementary school. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 37 fifth-grade students at SDN Sukorame 2 Kediri City, including 10 students in the limited trial and 27 students in the broad trial. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests through pretest and posttest. The results of the study show that the Digital Flipbook based on Kediri local wisdom obtained a validity level of 94% in the highly valid category. The practicality of the media was shown by teacher responses of 94% and student responses of 93%, both of which were in the highly practical category. The students’ mean score increased from 64.81 in the pretest to 91.85 in the posttest. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant improvement in learning outcomes after the use of the media. The conclusion of the study affirms that the Digital Flipbook based on Kediri local wisdom is valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ learning outcomes on historical relics material in fifth-grade elementary school. The implications of this study indicate that digital learning media based on local wisdom can serve as an alternative form of contextual learning that supports improved learning outcomes while introducing and preserving regional cultural heritage among students.

Abstract

Although local traditions have strategic potential as a source for creative economy development, the utilization of the Panjang Mulud tradition in Sukaindah Village, Baros Subdistrict, Serang Regency still tends to be ceremonial and has not been optimized as an instrument for economic empowerment based on local wisdom. This study aims to analyze the potential of the Panjang Mulud tradition in empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and to formulate a creative economy development model based on local wisdom. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving MSME actors, community leaders, and village officials selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model through the stages of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results show that the Panjang Mulud tradition has economic potential that can encourage MSME activities through product innovation, strengthening human resource capacity, digitalizing marketing, and collaboration among stakeholders. However, the optimization of this potential still faces obstacles in the form of limited innovation, low digital literacy, and the absence of sustainable empowerment programs. These findings offer a local tradition-based MSME empowerment model as a conceptual contribution to the development of a creative economy based on local wisdom. Practically, the results of this study can serve as a reference for local governments and communities in designing sustainable MSME empowerment strategies through the optimization of local cultural potential.

Abstract

Intolerance and moral crisis have become important challenges in pluralistic societies, including in Kupang City, which has diversity in religion, ethnicity, culture, and social background. The increasing signs of declining social concern, exclusive attitudes, discrimination, and weakening moral values indicate the need for educational reorientation in building character and strengthening harmonious social life. This study aims to analyze the reorientation of Christian Religious Education (PAK) in facing the challenges of intolerance and moral crisis in the pluralistic society of Kupang City. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation involving Christian Religious Education teachers, church leaders, students, and community members. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the reorientation of PAK is realized through the strengthening of tolerance values, character education, dialogical learning, and the development of students’ social competence. The implementation of the values of love, honesty, responsibility, empathy, and respect for diversity supports the formation of tolerant attitudes and moral behavior. In addition, collaboration among schools, families, and churches is an important factor in supporting the success of students’ character formation. The conclusion of the study affirms that the reorientation of PAK plays a strategic role in strengthening tolerance and morality in the pluralistic society of Kupang City. The implications of this study provide theoretical contributions to the development of character- and tolerance-based religious education, as well as practical implications for schools, families, churches, and communities in building education that is dialogical, inclusive, and oriented toward harmonious social life.

Abstract

The implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) is an important instrument in realizing transparent, accountable, and results-oriented governance. In its evaluation process, the work effectiveness of the Evaluation Team is an important factor that determines the quality of assessment and the accuracy of recommendations for improving the performance of regional apparatus organizations. This study aims to analyze the work effectiveness of the Evaluation Team in SAKIP assessment at the Regional Inspectorate of Solok Regency and to identify the factors that influence it. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Research informants were determined through purposive sampling, including the person in charge of the evaluation team, the deputy person in charge/technical controller, the head of the evaluation team, and three members of the evaluation team. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that the work effectiveness of the Evaluation Team is generally moderately effective, although several indicators have not been optimally fulfilled. Indicators of goal achievement, work quality, and timeliness have been implemented well, while indicators of work quantity and job satisfaction have not been fulfilled due to the limited number of evaluators, high workload, the use of a still-manual evaluation system, and the absence of special incentives for the Evaluation Team. Factors influencing work effectiveness include productivity, work motivation, timeliness, and equipment and facilities that remain suboptimal, particularly in the aspect of data processing. The conclusion of the study affirms that the work effectiveness of the Evaluation Team in SAKIP assessment at the Regional Inspectorate of Solok Regency needs to be strengthened through increasing the number of evaluators, developing a digital-based evaluation system, and providing work rewards. The implications of this study provide practical contributions to improving civil apparatus resource management and strengthening the quality of SAKIP evaluation in local government.

Abstract

The quality of human resources is a strategic asset that plays an important role in driving organizational innovation, particularly in government institutions that are required to improve the effectiveness and quality of public services. Although the influence of human resource quality on organizational innovation has been widely examined, most studies still focus on the private sector, while studies on public organizations, particularly within the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), remain limited. This study aims to analyze the influence of human resource quality on organizational innovation at the Secretariat of the DPRD of Pesisir Selatan Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative survey design, involving 74 employees selected through total sampling. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 21. The results of the study show that human resource quality has a positive and significant effect on organizational innovation. Human resource quality, reflected in education level, work skills, productivity, and adaptability, contributes to increasing the organization’s capacity to generate and implement innovation. The conclusion of the study affirms that improving human resource quality is an important factor in promoting organizational innovation at the Secretariat of the DPRD of Pesisir Selatan Regency. The implications of this study provide theoretical contributions to the development of public administration studies concerning the relationship between human resource quality and organizational innovation, as well as practical implications for local governments in designing sustainable employee competency development programs.

Abstract

The limited use of interactive learning multimedia on Indonesian Cultural Diversity material, particularly traditional clothing and traditional houses of provinces in Indonesia, indicates the need for media that can provide visualization, interactivity, and learning experiences that are easier for elementary school students to understand. This study aims to develop interactive educational multimedia with the theme of Cultural Diversity in Indonesia that meets the needs of fourth-grade students at SDN 03 South Pontianak and to determine its feasibility level. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research sample consisted of 31 students and two multimedia expert validators. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively by calculating the percentages of expert validation results and student responses to the developed multimedia. The needs analysis results showed that learning multimedia needs to integrate audio, visual, and interactive elements so that the material is easier to understand. The design stage produced multimedia that combines text, images, audio, animation, video, and interactive quizzes, which was developed using iSpring Suite 11 and published in HTML5 format so that it can be accessed online. The multimedia expert validation results obtained a percentage of 93% in the highly feasible category, while the student trial results obtained a percentage of 92.94% in the highly feasible category. The conclusion of the study affirms that interactive educational multimedia with the theme of Cultural Diversity in Indonesia is feasible for use as learning media on traditional clothing and traditional houses material in elementary schools. The implications of this study indicate that interactive multimedia can serve as an alternative learning medium for teachers in delivering Indonesian Cultural Diversity material in a more visual, engaging, and interactive manner, while also enriching studies on the development of learning media in elementary schools.
