Abstract

Based on the reality at SMPN 1 Sasak Ranah Pasisia. students who are not satisfied with their grades, and students must think about how so that students can solve these problems and understand what the teacher explained. for example learning in class students do not understand what the teacher explained, the purpose of the research is so that students understand what the teacher explains and students can solve their own problems. This research is a descriptive research. This study has a population of 123 students and a sample of 30 students. Data collection techniques in this study using Random Sampling Techniques. The data analysis technique uses manual processing of ITP results (Development Task Inventory). Based on the research conducted, the results show that the level of developmental tasks is a continuum structure of self-development from simple to complex. In general, the developmental level of elementary school children is between 1 and 4, junior high school aged children between 2 and 5, high school aged children between 3 and 6, and student age levels between 4 and 7.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of some problems related to speaking anxiety in male and female students in English learning. Some female students looked worried about being pointed out and there were a few students who were able to raise their hands to give opinions. Then, some female students showed anxiety when they became the center of attention. Third, some male students looked hesitant when they pronounced some words. Lastly, some male students felt more comfortable when giving opinions or answering teacher questions by using their first language rather than the English language. Because of these problems, the researcher intended to find out the significant difference on speaking anxiety level between male and female students, and to find out the dominant factor of speaking anxiety in male and female students at the VIIth grade of Islamic Boarding School Ashhabul Yamin Lasi. The research design was Ex Post Facto research. The data were collected by using 18 items of the FLSAS (Foreign Language Speaking Anxiety Scale) questionnaire that were adopted from Ozturk and Gurbuz 2014. There were three indicators of speaking anxiety; Communication Apprehension, Test Anxiety and Fear of Negative Evaluation. The levels of speaking anxiety were low anxiety, moderate anxiety, and high anxiety. The population of this research was all of the seventh grade students which consisted of 3 classes. The sample was 80 students that were selected by using total sampling technique. The research was conducted in February 2022 in Islamic boarding School Ashhabul Yamin Lasi. Then, by using the SPSS program, an independent sample t-test was used to compare speaking anxiety level between male and female students, and a descriptive statistic was used to reveal the dominant factor of speaking anxiety in male and female students. The first result of the research showed that there was a significant difference on speaking anxiety level between male and female students at the VIIth grade of Islamic Boarding School Ashhabul Yamin Lasi. The researcher found the t-obtained (3.484) was higher than T-table (1.990). It means that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The level of speaking anxiety in female students was moderate anxiety and male students were low anxiety. The second results that were the dominant factor of speaking anxiety in male students was test anxiety (18.12%), where it is because of students’ perception about English language. Meanwhile, the dominant factor of speaking anxiety in female students was fear of negative evaluation (20.68%), where it is because of unpreparedness of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the takrir method in the Quran tahfidz program at SDN 15 Kinali, starting from planning, implementation, and evaluation. This research includes qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the takrir method in the Quran tahfidz program at SDN 15 Kinali began with a plan that was held together with the school principal, PAI teachers, and the teacher council. The implementation of the takrir method in the tahfidz program is based on the syntax of the takrir method itself and the form of implementation of the takrir method at SDN 15 Kinali, namely self-takrir and shared takrir. While the form of evaluation is an oral evaluation by listening and playing rote to the teacher. The results of this study can be used as initial data for future researchers to examine this issue in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the performance appraisal conducted by SDIT At-Taqwa 2 Surabaya, on educators and their educational staff. Educators and educational staff are an important part of the running of the educational process, where it must be able to run well. The method used in writing this article is descriptive qualitative method of data collection and literature study. With the analysis that has been carried out by researchers, the following results are found, 1) What are the steps taken by the school principal in determining qualified teaching and educational staff. 2) Obstacles encountered in the process of assessing educators and educational staff, namely the difficulty of male teaching staff. 3) How do educators overcome the difficulties experienced by students. 4) Factors in the success of education at SDIT At-Taqwa 2. 5) There are teaching staff but not in accordance with the required criteria. 6) There are some educators who cannot recite properly and correctly 7) Institutions that are still relatively new and lack experience in learning. 8) Almost all teaching staff have not been certified by the education office. And so forth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of response, per capita expenditure, education, health on poverty in Sumatera Barat Province. This type of research is descriptive and associative, the data used is panel data where the research was conducted in Sumatera Barat in 2018-2022. This study uses the Eviews 12 application, the selected model is Random Effect. The F test shows unemployment, per capita expenditure, education and health have an effect on poverty. Whereas in the t test, unemployment has no significant positive effect on poverty, per capita expenditure has a negative effect on poverty, education has no significant negative effect on poverty and health has a significant negative effect on poverty in Sumatera Barat. From this research it is hoped that there will be synergy between the government and the community through job creation and skills debriefing in the form of training so that job seekers can have skills that are in accordance with the required field work so that they can be useful in reducing poverty levels in Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

This research was due to some problems that were found in the 6th semester students of English Education Study Program in UIN Bukittingi. First, the students had vocabulary problem in translating Indonesian to English, especially the ability to use the proper vocabulary in translating. Second, the students had grammar problem in translating Indonesian to English, especially tenses and time condition. The purpose of this research was to find out the type of error that they make when translating text from Indonesian into English and to find out the most frequent error the students make when translating text from Indonesian into English. This research was a descriptive quantitative research. The sampling technique that researcher uses was total sampling. The instrument that was used in a research was translation test. It was a text consists of three paragraphs in Indonesian that must be translated into English. The researcher found that addition errors were made 7.31% of the time, omission errors were made 27.74% of the time, literalness errors were made 13.98% of the time, ambiguity errors were made 17.42% of the time, punctuation errors were made 4.95% of the time, spelling errors were made 3.44% of the time, and capitalization errors were made 25.16% of the time. It can be concluded that omission error is the most frequent error, followed by capitalization, ambiguity, literalness, addition, punctuation, and spelling. This make spelling as the least frequent error that the students made.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of learning media that is appropriate for use by teachers so that students have motivation in studying the media, namely flashcard media. This study aims to determine the use of flashcard media in Islamic Religious Education subject class 1 at SD Negeri 15 Selayo, to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of flashcard media on student learning motivation on ablution material in class 1 Islamic Religious Education subject at SD Negeri 15 Selayo and to find out the results of using flashcard media on student learning motivation in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at SD Negeri 15 Selayo. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, the object of this research is the first grade students of SD Negeri 15 Selayo and the subject of this research is students' learning motivation. Then the data obtained from observation, interviews with informants, and documentation to see the existing phenomena. The results of this study indicate that the use of flashcard media in class 1 Islamic Religious Education subject at SD Negeri 15 Selayo is very good to use because it really helps students in motivating students. Students have high enthusiasm and enthusiasm for Islamic religious education lessons so they have a strong determination and will in carrying out learning activities, students have a desire to succeed, there is encouragement and need in learning, there are hopes and aspirations, there is an appreciation in learning, there are interesting activities in learning, the creation of a conducive learning environment. So with this it proves that the results of using flashcard media in learning make students have motivation to learn

Abstract

School administration performance is a process that is considered important for the continuity of teaching and learning activities. This study aims to analyze the performance of the administrative process at SDI KYAI AMIN Surabaya school, because school administration is something that needs to be updated in improving the quality of education. In this study using a qualitative descriptive approach to the method of data collection observation and literature review. By asking several questions to the principal of SDI KYAI AMIN Surabaya. So that in this study data were obtained such as school administrative structure, school administrative processes, school administration reporting, routine activities carried out by administration at school, administrative supervision, as well as factors that influence the school administration process. From the results of this study, researchers will be able to find out how the performance of school administration at SDI KYAI AMIN Surabaya.

The type of research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method to examine in depth and focus on increasing student acceptance through Marketing Management and studied in depth with a view to understanding the conditions and atmosphere at SDN 1 Selebung Ketanga Model with how Marketing Management is carried out so that it can attract students' interest. What was made data source is head school, vice principal school, teachers and guardians of students as subject data source. As for procedure deep data collection study This is interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis technique used in study qualitative covers data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification. step for technique data validity is technique ie with technique triangulation and member check ie with request agreement informant. The results of the research show that : marketing management at SDN 1 Selebung Ketangga model is the process of preparing marketing plans carried out by school leaders, this is because the plans implemented can be arranged more effectively, the implementation of marketing management in increasing student acceptance in this case is a form the realization of the program that has been announced in the promotion process plan using the media of brochures, pamphlets, through student guardians, through friends and the most superior is through the community itself and Evaluation of Marketing Management in Increasing New Student Acceptance.

Abstract

This study aims to explain policies and transformational leadership in improving the quality of education. The location is in Bima City. The discussion in this paper covers the notion of transformational leadership, the characteristics of transformational leadership, and the implications of transformational leadership and policies in improving the quality of education. This research uses qualitative research methods (qualitative research). Types of library research (library research). Using documentation study techniques (documentations study). Data collection was carried out through a systematic search of scientific literature on articles, books and documents that discussed significantly and had a connection with the research theme. The results of this study indicate that there is such a large contribution of transformational leadership in the development of better collar education. Through this article, it is hoped that it can provide benefits for readers, especially for the world of education to move towards a better direction, by implementing transformative leadership in its leadership. As a first step towards change in the world of education.
