Abstract

The main issue addressed in this study concerns the management of Bantuan Operasional Kesehatan (BOK) funds at Babo Community Health Center (Puskesmas Babo), Teluk Bintuni Regency, which are provided by the central government to support improvements in basic health services in accordance with the Minimum Service Standards (SPM). This study aims to analyze the BOK fund management process, encompassing the stages of planning, implementation, recording, and reporting. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing data collection techniques including direct observation, in-depth interviews with key informants, and document analysis. The findings reveal that BOK fund management begins with the preparation of the Activity Proposal Plan (RUK), which is finalized into the Activity Implementation Plan (RPK) through a joint review process with the District Health Office and the Ministry of Health. Upon approval, fund disbursement follows the Fund Withdrawal Plan (RPD), verified by the District Health Office and the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD). Financial transactions are systematically recorded, and reporting is carried out based on disbursement stages and coordinated with the District Health Office. The study concludes that BOK fund management at Puskesmas Babo has been implemented adequately, with appropriate targeting and alignment to health service priorities. The findings imply that transparent and accountable BOK fund management contributes to improved access and quality of basic health services and may serve as a replicable model for other community health centers.

Abstract

The Koperasi Pondok Pesantren (Kopontren) is a form of community-based economic institution with significant potential to foster self-reliance and prosperity within Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). However, in several locations, the strategic role of Kopontren has not been fully realized. This study aims to explore in depth the role of Kopontren in improving the economic condition of Pondok Pesantren Al-Jauharen in Tanjung Johor Subdistrict, Pelayangan District. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through non-participatory observation, structured interviews with 16 key informants, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation, while data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the contribution of Kopontren to the pesantren’s economy remains limited due to constraints in capital, weak managerial capacity, and low member participation. Furthermore, the Kopontren has not yet been able to implement strategic programs that significantly impact infrastructure development and teacher welfare. These findings suggest that the success of a cooperative is not solely determined by its institutional presence but also by the strength of its governance, financial support, and member trust. The study concludes that institutional strengthening strategies are needed through economic empowerment approaches and the application of modern cooperative management to sustainably optimize the role of Kopontren in enhancing pesantren welfare.

Abstract

The growth of the spa industry in Padang City demands optimal customer journey management to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen business competitiveness. This study aims to describe the management of the customer journey at Ok Spa, analyze its effect on customer satisfaction, and measure the contribution of the customer journey to overall customer satisfaction at Ok Spa, Padang. A quantitative approach with an associative strategy was employed. The sample consisted of 42 respondents, and data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results show that customer journey management at Ok Spa is categorized as excellent, with an average score of 4.31, while customer satisfaction is also rated very high with an average score of 4.41. Regression analysis indicates that the customer journey has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a regression coefficient of 0.349. The correlation coefficient of 0.608 indicates a strong positive relationship between the two variables. However, the contribution of the customer journey to customer satisfaction is only 37%, suggesting that other factors also influence overall customer satisfaction. These findings underscore the importance of managing the customer experience comprehensively at every interaction stage from pre-visit to post-service to foster customer loyalty and support the sustainability of spa businesses in Padang City.

Abstract

The decision to purchase subsidized housing in Indonesia, particularly at PT. Arza Putra Wahid Persada in the Jambi region, is influenced by various external factors such as promotion, location, and price. This study aims to examine the extent to which these three variables affect consumer decisions in selecting subsidized homes. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-verificative design was used. The sample consisted of 97 respondents selected through purposive sampling, targeting lower-middle-income individuals who had accessed information or conducted transactions with the developer. Data collection techniques included Likert-scale questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, observation, and literature review. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, partial t-tests, and the coefficient of determination with SPSS version 25. The results show that promotion, location, and price have a positive and significant influence, both simultaneously and partially on purchasing decisions. Promotion shapes perceived value and stimulates buying interest; location is crucial in terms of comfort, accessibility, and proximity to public facilities; while price remains a primary consideration related to purchasing power and perceptions of housing quality. The study concludes that the synergy between promotion, location, and price forms a key strategy in influencing consumer decisions in the subsidized housing segment. These findings provide a valuable foundation for developers and policymakers in designing more targeted marketing approaches. Future research is recommended to explore additional variables and apply mixed or longitudinal methods to gain a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

Low student interest and motivation in the topic Norms in My Life have led to minimal engagement and suboptimal learning outcomes. This study aims to improve student learning achievement through the implementation of the cooperative learning model of the jigsaw type, supported by word wall media. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach consisting of four main stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection was systematically conducted through observation, pretest and posttest evaluations, and relevant documentation. A test instrument was used to measure the difference in learning outcomes before and after applying the jigsaw model. The study involved 18 fifth-grade students from UPTD SD Negeri Sikumana 1. The results showed a significant improvement in learning achievement: in the pre-cycle, only 4 students met the minimum competency criteria (60.1%); in Cycle I, this increased to 9 students (70%); and in Cycle II, 15 students (91.1%) achieved the target. These findings demonstrate that the jigsaw cooperative learning model, supported by word wall media, is effective in enhancing student learning outcomes. The implications of this study span theoretical aspects in the development of collaborative learning design, as well as practical benefits for students, teachers, schools, and researchers in creating more meaningful and contextualized learning experiences.

Abstract

Low learning outcomes and limited student engagement at SDN 2 Tanjung Pura are attributed to the continued use of teacher-centered instructional approaches, highlighting the need for innovation in teaching strategies. This study aims to improve student engagement and academic achievement through the implementation of the Problem Solving learning model. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart design, which includes the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through student activity observations and learning outcome tests. The findings indicate that the gradual implementation of the Problem Solving model significantly enhanced both student participation and learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle stage, only 8 out of 20 students (40%) met the minimum mastery criteria. This number increased to 12 students (60%) in Cycle I and further rose to 18 students (90%) in Cycle II, with the class average score reaching 82.5. These results indicate that the success indicators were achieved. The study concludes that the Problem Solving model is effective in increasing student engagement and learning outcomes, and it is suitable for implementation as an alternative instructional strategy at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of satisfaction levels on guest loyalty toward the services provided by the Food and Beverage Department at Hotel Fahira Bukittinggi. The research is grounded in the importance of understanding customer satisfaction and loyalty dynamics as key indicators of service success in the hospitality industry. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. Data were collected through a survey using questionnaires distributed to 32 hotel guests and analyzed through several stages, including instrument testing, classical assumption testing, simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and determination coefficient (R²) calculation. The analysis revealed that satisfaction significantly affects guest loyalty; however, the relationship is negative, with a regression coefficient of -2.731. This indicates that higher satisfaction is paradoxically associated with lower guest loyalty. The R² value of 0.451 shows that satisfaction accounts for 45.1% of the variation in loyalty, while the remaining 54.9% is influenced by other external factors beyond the scope of this study. These findings suggest the need for further investigation into other dimensions that may mediate or moderate the relationship between satisfaction and loyalty in the context of hotel food and beverage services.

Abstract

The increasing penetration of mobile banking services among younger generations faces challenges related to gaps in understanding the factors that influence user trust within local contexts. This study aims to analyze the influence of ease of use, transaction convenience, and data security on the trust of Generation Z customers in using BSI Mobile within the UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi environment. A quantitative approach was employed, with questionnaires distributed to 88 students from the 2022 cohort of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business. The research instrument used a Likert scale, and data were analyzed using F-test and t-test. The F-test results indicate that the three variables simultaneously have a significant effect on user trust (Fₕᵢₜᵤₙg = 34.204; significance = 0.000 < 0.05). Partially, the t-test shows that ease of use (tₕᵢₜᵤₙg = 2.436), transaction convenience (tₕᵢₜᵤₙg = 6.832), and data security (tₕᵢₜᵤₙg = 5.048) each have a significant effect on trust, as all values exceed the critical t value (1.6624) and are at a significance level below 0.05. These findings affirm that usability, transactional comfort, and data protection are significant determinants in building customer trust in mobile banking services, particularly among Generation Z university students.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited research on factors influencing turnover intention in conservation-based tourism, despite its significant impact on organizational sustainability and workforce stability. The study aims to examine the influence of workload and job satisfaction on turnover intention among employees at Taman Safari Bali. A quantitative research design was employed using purposive sampling with 85 respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that workload has a negative effect on turnover intention (β = -0.394) and a positive effect on job satisfaction (β = 0.302), while job satisfaction negatively affects turnover intention (β = -1.942); however, none of these relationships were statistically significant (p > 0.05). These findings suggest that variations in workload and job satisfaction do not significantly influence employees’ intention to leave the organization. Theoretically, this study contributes to the literature by highlighting the limited predictive power of internal variables on turnover intention within the context of conservation tourism. Practically, it offers empirical data from Bali’s tourism sector, which has been predominantly represented by hospitality-focused studies. Future research is recommended to adopt a longitudinal approach, expand regional coverage, and consider external variables such as leadership style, organizational climate, and work-life balance to achieve a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

Teacher and education personnel performance is a crucial factor in achieving educational goals, yet it is often influenced by various internal and external factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership style and work motivation on the performance of teachers and education personnel at SMA Negeri 11 Padang. A quantitative approach was used, employing Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS 4.0 software. The research sample consisted of 52 respondents, teachers and education personnel selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had undergone validity and reliability testing. The analysis results indicate that leadership style does not have a significant effect on performance, whereas work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers and education personnel. These findings suggest that in the context of SMA Negeri 11 Padang, work motivation is the dominant factor influencing performance, while the principal’s leadership style is not a primary determinant. The implications of this study underscore the importance of strengthening work motivation through strategies such as improving welfare, providing competency development training, and fostering a supportive work environment.
