Abstract

Introduction: Hospitals in Indonesia face complex challenges in the digital era, demanding strategic management transformation to improve service quality and operational efficiency. This study aims to examine various aspects of hospital strategic management based on current literature. Methods: Through a systematic literature review approach of 12 open access scientific journal articles published between 2023-2025, a thematic analysis was conducted to identify patterns, trends, and gaps in the implementation of strategic management in Indonesian hospitals. Discussion: The principal findings highlight five key areas of strategic management: digital transformation, policy integration, operational efficiency, human resource development, and service quality improvement. Digital transformation is the primary catalyst for change, while innovation in human resource management and the implementation of Lean Hospital Management optimize operational efficiency. Integration of strategic policies has been proven to improve the quality of services and ultimately increase the competitiveness of hospitals. Conclusion: Strategic management is an essential foundation for hospitals navigating the complexities of the contemporary healthcare environment. Effective strategic management implementation has been shown to positively correlate with improved service quality, organizational competitiveness, and financial sustainability. Strategic hospital management requires a holistic approach that integrates technology, human resources, and operational policies to achieve high-quality and sustainable healthcare.

Abstract

Employee performance in the public sector often fluctuates due to a lack of strong internal drive. This study aims to analyze the effect of Workplace Spirituality on Employee Performance through Organizational Commitment as an intervening variable at the Environmental Service (DLH) of Dompu Regency. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory design, this study involved 53 Civil Servants (PNS) selected via purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) based on the S-O-B-C theory. The results show that Workplace Spirituality has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, both directly and indirectly. Specifically, spirituality has the strongest impact on forming Organizational Commitment. Commitment is proven to act as a vital mediator bridging the transformation of spiritual values where work is perceived as worship into productive work behavior. These findings confirm the "Values to Action Transformation" model, implying that integrating spiritual values and strengthening loyalty are effective strategies for improving the performance of apparatus in local government agencies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and determine the impact related to the international conflict that occurred in the Middle East between the State of Israel and Palestine on the economic and business sectors in Indonesia. The many products and companies from the United States operating in Indonesia have become the target of anger among the Indonesian people due to rumors stating that the United States is the mastermind behind the conflict. The cause of this issue resulted in many calls for a boycott of products and companies originating from the United States, causing various problems in terms of company income and the fate of the employees who worked at the company. Of course, if these American products are boycotted by the Indonesian people, the company's sales will decrease, causing company losses which will also have an impact on reducing operational costs which will result in a reduction in workforce at each company so that it could become a new problem for Indonesia which causing the unemployment rate to increase due to this problem.

Abstract

This explanatory quantitative study examines the impact of performance and communication competence of Family Planning Field Workers (PLKB) on the success of the family planning program in Woja, Dompu. Data from 65 couples of childbearing age, collected via purposive sampling and Likert-scale questionnaires, were analyzed using SEM-PLS. The structural model demonstrated strong predictive power (R² = 70.5%). Hypothesis testing revealed a crucial finding: workers' administrative performance had a significant but negative effect (P=0.015; β=-0.218), indicating that a rigid, target-oriented approach triggers resistance in rural communities. Conversely, communication competence emerged as the dominant predictor with a highly significant positive effect (P=0.000; β=0.962). Simultaneously, both variables showed a significant impact. The study concludes that successful implementation in communal cultures necessitates a dialogic and empathetic approach. The government is advised to evaluate PLKB assessment standards by prioritizing cross-cultural communication soft skills.

Abstract

Digital transformation has fundamentally reshaped communication patterns in higher education institutions in building and maintaining their reputations. Media disruption—characterized by platform convergence, accelerated information flows, and increased public participation—requires universities to develop adaptive and data-driven digital communication management strategies. This study aims to analyze digital communication management strategies in enhancing the reputation of higher education institutions and to formulate a conceptual model relevant to the dynamics of the digital era.The research employs a qualitative approach with a multiple case study design involving three higher education institutions in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, social media observation, and analysis of communication policy documents. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, including open, axial, and selective coding procedures. The findings reveal that effective digital communication strategies consist of four main stages: strategic planning based on institutional positioning, narrative content production through academic storytelling, management of two-way engagement, and reputation monitoring based on digital analytics. The results also indicate that the integration of communication management and social media data analysis significantly contributes to strengthening public trust and enhancing institutional image.This study proposes the “Adaptive Digital Communication Strategy Model” as a conceptual contribution to the development of communication management in higher education institutions.

Abstract

Operational inefficiency is often caused by uneven workload distribution and unplanned job sequencing. Both factors lead to bottlenecks, prolonged waiting times, and ineffective resource utilization. This study investigates how workload optimization and sequencing decisions contribute to improving operating system efficiency. Using a descriptive literature study approach based on secondary data from sources on organizational behavior and operations management, the findings indicate that workload imbalance causes bottlenecks and declining workforce performance, while unstructured sequencing prolongs makespan and increases idle time. Priority rules such as Shortest Processing Time and Earliest Due Date can demonstrably shorten total completion time while improving resource utilization, whereas workload equalization has been shown to reduce operational disruptions. This study finds that addressing both variables simultaneously produces greater efficiency gains than handling them separately. Practitioners are advised to periodically assess workload distribution and apply sequencing methods suited to their respective production characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze participants’ satisfaction with the organization of Honda Bikers Day 2025, focusing on three main factors: facilities, activities, and togetherness. The event is part of a community engagement strategy organized by PT Astra Honda Motor to strengthen loyalty and solidarity among Honda bikers in Indonesia. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach supported by simple quantitative data collected through questionnaires distributed to 93 participants. Data analysis was conducted descriptively using frequency distribution and thematic analysis of open-ended responses. The findings indicate that overall participant satisfaction falls within the fairly satisfied to satisfied category. The activity and togetherness factors were the most influential in shaping satisfaction, particularly through touring activities, music performances, and inter-community interactions that enhanced solidarity. However, the facilities aspect still requires improvement, especially regarding toilet cleanliness, rest areas, and venue management. It can be concluded that the success of Honda Bikers Day 2025 is more strongly influenced by the value of togetherness and social experience than by technical facility aspects alone. Abstract

Shallot trading businesses face persistent challenges in supply chain coordination, particularly regarding unstable agricultural yields, pest infestations, and volatile commodity prices, which demand a more structured information management system. This study aims to examine how the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) framework can strengthen supply chain operations at Gudang Bawang Jonpiter Silaen in Medan City. A qualitative case study design was adopted, with in-depth interviews conducted with the business owner as the primary data source, supplemented by academic literature. Findings reveal that the business operates through interconnected stages sourcing shallots from farmers, warehouse storage, product grading, and distribution to market traders where existing documentation practices already mirror the core logic of ERP. The study concludes that transitioning toward a fully integrated ERP-based platform holds significant potential for improving operational productivity, reducing data inconsistencies, and sustaining a well-coordinated distribution network. It is recommended that the business gradually adopt a digital recording system that integrates procurement, inventory control, and sales transactions into a unified platform.

Abstract

Business law is a set of legal norms and regulations that govern economic activities and legal relationships among business actors. The existence of business law is essential in creating legal certainty, protecting business actors and consumers, and supporting the development of a healthy and sustainable business environment. This study aims to analyze the role of business law in regulating economic activities and its contribution to creating legal certainty and improving the investment climate in Indonesia. The research method employed is normative legal research using statutory and conceptual approaches. The research data were obtained through library research, including legislation, academic books, and relevant scholarly literature related to business law. The results indicate that business law plays a significant role as an instrument for regulating business activities, providing legal protection for business actors and consumers, and offering mechanisms for resolving disputes in economic activities. Furthermore, the implementation of business law principles such as transparency, accountability, and legal certainty can enhance investor confidence and promote national economic growth. However, the rapid development of the digital economy requires regulatory adaptation so that business law can accommodate the dynamics of modern economic activities. Therefore, strengthening regulations and effective law enforcement are crucial in creating a fair, stable, and sustainable business environment in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Just-In-Time (JIT) system has long been a foundation of production efficiency in the global automotive manufacturing industry. However, the semiconductor crisis that struck the world in 2020 to 2023 presented a serious test of the resilience of this zero-buffer inventory-based production system. This study aims to analyze the resilience of the JIT system at PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) in facing supply chain disruptions caused by the global semiconductor shortage. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on a single case study, this research utilizes secondary data from TMMIN Sustainability Reports 2022 and 2023, GAIKINDO production statistics, global industry reports, and verified academic literature. The results show that despite the semiconductor crisis impacting TMMIN production capacity, the company maintained operational continuity through three main adaptation strategies: production model prioritization, component stock optimization, and strengthened industry ecosystem coordination. These findings support the argument that JIT does not need to be abandoned, but rather evolved into an Adaptive-JIT model that integrates resilience mechanisms without sacrificing long-term Lean efficiency principles.
