Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the local workforce priority policy in Bekasi Regency during the first six months of the new Regent's leadership (January–June 2025). Although Bekasi is known as a large industrial area with extensive job opportunities, February 2025 data shows that the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) remains high, at 8.87%, or far above the national average. This condition indicates that the policy based on Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 4 of 2016 has not been running optimally. The analysis results show that the policy implementation faces structural obstacles, one of which is the practice of co-optation in the form of brokering, nepotism, and rent-seeking, which undermine the principle of meritocracy. This situation has resulted in a decline in the quality of human resources recruited by companies and limited opportunities for local job seekers who actually have adequate competence. This report also discusses the legal aspects of the local priority policy, which essentially must be consistent with the principle of non-discrimination and the Supreme Court's decision emphasizing the importance of professionalism in the workplace. Thus, the existence of this policy is not only related to job opportunities, but also concerns the integrity of labor governance. To increase its effectiveness in the future, a comprehensive strategy is needed that includes strengthening regulations to be more adaptive to industry dynamics, increasing transparency and accountability in the recruitment process, developing the capacity of local human resources through targeted training programs, and strict monitoring and law enforcement mechanisms against abuses of authority. Through this integrated effort, it is hoped that the local labor priority policy in Bekasi Regency will not only be a formal instrument but will also be able to have a real impact in reducing unemployment and strengthening the competitiveness of the local workforce amidst the currents of industrial globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the adaptation strategies of Ananda Sehat Karangsono Clinic in facing the competition in healthcare services in the era of the National Health Insurance (JKN). The background of this research is based on the increasingly fierce competition between healthcare facilities, both clinics and hospitals, in providing fast, efficient, and quality services according to JKN standards. The presence of the JKN program, which demands integrated, transparent, and technology-based services, encourages clinics to innovate to remain competitive and maintain operational sustainability. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Research informants included clinic leaders, healthcare workers, and administrative staff, thus providing a comprehensive perspective on the implemented adaptation strategies. The results show that Ananda Sehat Karangsono Clinic has integrated digital technologies, such as the Mobile JKN application and WhatsApp, to speed up the registration process, verify patient data, and facilitate communication. This innovation can improve the efficiency of service flows, reduce queues, and create a better service experience for patients. In addition, the clinic emphasizes the importance of patient satisfaction by improving service quality, speed, and friendliness of healthcare workers and support staff. The adaptation strategy implemented was not limited to technological aspects, but also encompassed operational efficiency and humanistic interpersonal services. Overall, the clinic's adaptation strategy was flexible and holistic, encompassing digitalization, strengthening internal management, and developing positive patient relationships. These findings confirm that the clinic was able to maintain competitiveness and service sustainability amidst the dynamics of the National Health Insurance (JKN) and the digitalization of the healthcare system.

Abstract

With the lack of literacy related to money waqf, people do not understand what money waqf is, so that its great potential cannot be optimized. The opportunity for waqf in Indonesia is very large. This is due to the majority of the population being Muslims (Rinawati, 2021).. The purpose of this study is to find out the Optimization of Money Waqf Collection Using a Digital System from the Perspective of Sharia Economic Law (Study Study at the Indonesian Waqf Agency (BWI). The type of research conducted by the researcher is qualitative case studies. Qualitative data is data in the form of words, not in the form of numbers. Qualitative data is obtained through various data collection techniques such as interviews, document analysis, focused discussions, or observations that have been outlined in field notes (transcripts). The results of the research found that legally, there are regulations that allow money waqf, including the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) with the provision of distributing money waqf only for things that do not violate sharia and are right on target to people in need. With the digital regulation of waqf that is still common, the mechanism of the digital system in collecting money waqf is still not optimal and is still in the stage of finding a pattern in the collection of digital-based waqf. Then the potential for money waqf is very large and must be optimized. However, the existing potential must also be balanced with innovative programs so that the number of collections is also optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Korean Wave, social media, and influencer marketing on consumer purchasing decisions at K3 Mart Surabaya. The Korean Wave phenomenon, which includes K-pop, K-drama, and Korean products such as cosmetics and food, has gained significant attention from Indonesian consumers, particularly among the younger generation. Coupled with the growing role of social media in everyday life and marketing strategies through influencer marketing, these three factors are believed to impact consumer purchasing decisions. The research used a quantitative method, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 105 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 27, including validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that the Korean Wave, social media, and influencer marketing have a significant positive influence on purchasing decisions at K3 Mart. Partially, the Korean Wave has the most dominant effect on purchasing decisions, followed by social media and influencer marketing. Simultaneous tests also show that all three independent variables significantly influence purchasing decisions. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.702 indicates that 70.2% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be explained by these three variables. These findings suggest that marketing strategies leveraging the Korean Wave, social media, and influencer marketing can enhance consumer purchasing decisions, particularly among the younger generation who are more influenced by digital trends and popular culture. This research provides insights for businesses, especially in the retail sector, to optimize the use of these three elements in formulating their marketing strategies.

Abstract

TikTok has emerged as one of the most influential social media platforms, forming a global online community that penetrates diverse industries, including skincare. In Indonesia, skincare ranks among the most discussed topics on TikTok, which makes the platform a significant channel for influencing consumer behavior. This study aimed to analyze how TikTok content shapes consumer purchasing decisions for skincare products in Indonesia. A qualitative method was applied using in-depth interviews with 12 respondents representing young adult consumers familiar with skincare products. The findings highlight several insights. First, TikTok content positively influences the problem recognition stage, helping consumers become more aware of their skincare needs. Second, TikTok was identified as the second most used social media source for skincare-related information, though its credibility is perceived only at a moderate level. Third, the platform plays a moderate role in the evaluation of alternatives, where consumers compare and consider skincare products. However, nearly half of the respondents reported a gap between information obtained from TikTok and actual product performance, resulting in disappointment and reluctance to share their experiences on the platform. Moreover, respondents revealed clear preferences regarding content: (1) comparative content showcasing product performance, (2) detailed content discussing product features, and (3) content providing tangible proof of effectiveness. These findings emphasize the dual role of TikTok as both an influential information source and a platform with credibility challenges. The study contributes to a better understanding of digital consumer behavior in Indonesia’s skincare industry. It also provides practical recommendations for marketers to design more transparent, credible, and consumer-oriented TikTok marketing strategies.

Abstract

This research employs a qualitative approach to investigate how corporate brand image shapes the quality of maritime services, using a comprehensive stakeholder perspective within the Indonesian shipping industry. The study adopts PT. Multi Jaya Samudra’s TB. Maiden Central operations as its focal case, gathering insights from maritime professionals, academic experts, and industry practitioners to better understand the interconnection between brand perception and service delivery. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 65 participants, followed by a thematic analysis to identify emerging patterns. The results highlight that corporate brand image plays a substantial role in influencing how service quality is perceived, with a positive correlation of 79.8% found between brand strength and customer satisfaction. Key themes emerging from the analysis include the enhancement of professional trust, the incorporation of educational elements into industry practices, and the promotion of operational excellence. A robust and reputable brand is shown to provide shipping companies with a distinct competitive edge, while also aligning with broader objectives such as sustainable maritime growth and the adoption of digital innovation. Beyond practical business value, the research enriches the field of maritime business management by presenting a stakeholder-driven framework for brand development, offering opportunities for the integration of industry-relevant curricula in maritime vocational education, and promoting sustainable transportation practices. These findings yield actionable implications for Indonesian shipping enterprises that aim to strengthen brand positioning, improve service performance, and remain competitive in an increasingly dynamic and environmentally conscious maritime sector.

Abstract

This qualitative research investigates the influence of work motivation and work environment on employee performance within PT Yusen Logistic Indonesia's warehouse division. Through comprehensive interviews with maritime professionals, educators, and industry experts, this study addresses critical gaps in understanding workforce dynamics in maritime logistics operations. The research employed thematic analysis of semi-structured interviews with 45 participants across three stakeholder groups: operational staff, maritime educators, and industry professionals. Findings reveal that intrinsic motivation factors, particularly career development opportunities and safety recognition, demonstrate stronger correlation with sustained performance than monetary incentives. Work environment quality, including infrastructure adequacy and shift management, serves as a significant moderator affecting motivation–performance relationships. In addition, this research highlights that supportive leadership and open communication further strengthen employee engagement and commitment in high-pressure warehouse operations. Respondents consistently emphasized the importance of aligning organizational goals with individual career aspirations, particularly in a sector where safety and efficiency are paramount. The study also identifies that investment in ergonomic facilities, digital monitoring systems, and structured training programs reduces fatigue and error rates, thus promoting both productivity and safety compliance. The implications extend beyond company-level management to broader maritime education and policy-making. The integration of motivational strategies into vocational curricula can better prepare graduates for the realities of port and logistics operations. Moreover, the findings contribute to developing sustainable logistics practices that balance efficiency, employee well-being, and long-term organizational competitiveness. Overall, the research provides evidence-based recommendations for maritime vocational training programs, human resource management, and port operations strategies in Indonesia’s rapidly growing logistics sector.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of declining teacher performance at SMK Sariwangi Tasikmalaya, which is suspected to be caused by low work motivation and a lack of work discipline. This issue is crucial because teacher performance is one of the key factors in achieving educational goals. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to empirically examine the influence of work motivation and work discipline on teacher performance. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population consisted of all 38 teachers at SMK Sariwangi Tasikmalaya, and the sampling technique used was saturated sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to determine both the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, and work discipline also has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. These findings emphasize that improving motivation through rewards, support, and a conducive work environment, as well as strengthening discipline through compliance with school rules and teaching responsibilities, are important factors in optimizing teacher performance. The implication of this research highlights the need for managerial strategies in human resource management, particularly in education, to enhance learning quality and achieve educational objectives.

Abstract

This study looks into how customer happiness and taste affect Mie Pangsit Apilin's recurring business in Bireuen.  The investigation was carried out at Mie Pangsit Apilin in Bireuen using a quantitative approach.  Although the precise quantity is unknown, the population consists of all customers that bought Mie Pangsit Apilin goods in 2024.  One hundred people participated in the study.  The findings of the regression analysis show that hypothesis Ha1 is validated, suggesting that flavor influences repeat purchases to some extent.  This is demonstrated by a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05 and tcount > ttable at a 5% significance level (2.884 > 1.660). Similarly, tcount > ttable (4.180 > 1.660) and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 corroborate hypothesis Ha2, which demonstrates that part of the relationship between customer satisfaction and repeat purchases is positive.  Furthermore, hypothesis Ha3 is validated, showing that flavor and customer happiness work together to significantly influence repeat business at the same time.  While the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.490 indicates that 49% of the variance in repeat purchases can be explained by taste and customer satisfaction, with the remaining 51% influenced by factors not examined in this study, the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.700 shows a strong relationship between the independent variables and repeat purchases.
