Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau secara sistematis penerapan Single Subject Design (SSD) dalam intervensi konseling bagi anak dan remaja berkebutuhan khusus. Kebaruan (novelty) dari artikel ini terletak pada upaya mensintesis temuan empiris terkini (2015–2025) yang diperoleh dari tiga basis data utama: ScienceDirect, Springer, dan ProQuest, dengan fokus pada efektivitas serta keragaman metodologis SSD dalam konteks pendidikan inklusif.Melalui proses penelusuran literatur yang komprehensif dan kriteria inklusi yang ketat, diperoleh 19 studi relevan yang dianalisis berdasarkan jenis intervensi, karakteristik partisipan, dan ukuran hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SSD memberikan evaluasi yang ketat dan bersifat individual terhadap intervensi konseling, serta menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam interaksi sosial, perilaku adaptif, dan regulasi emosi.Ulasan ini menyoroti fleksibilitas dan relevansi SSD dalam konseling yang dipersonalisasi, dengan kontribusi penting dari keterlibatan keluarga serta pendekatan yang diadaptasi secara budaya. Artikel ini memberikan dasar ilmiah berbasis bukti (evidence-based foundation) yang berharga bagi praktisi dan pembuat kebijakan dalam meningkatkan strategi intervensi untuk anak berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kesejahteraan psikologis siswa berdasarkan perspektif psikologi positif dengan menggunakan pendekatan model PERMA (Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, dan Accomplishment) di lingkungan sekolah. Kesejahteraan siswa menjadi aspek penting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran yang optimal, oleh karena itu diperlukan pemetaan aspek-aspek psikologis yang membentuk kebahagiaan dan fungsi optimal siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 192 siswa SMAN 1 Taman dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner skala PERMA yang disusun berdasarkan indikator yang dikembangkan oleh Martin Seligman (2011). Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata dari setiap dimensi PERMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari kelima dimensi kesejahteraan, Relationships (rata-rata 4,2) dan Accomplishment (rata-rata 4,0) berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan tiga dimensi lainnya yaitu Engagement (3,9), Positive Emotion (3,8), dan Meaning (3,5) berada pada kategori sedang. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa siswa memiliki hubungan sosial yang kuat dan pencapaian diri yang memadai, namun masih memerlukan penguatan dalam hal makna hidup, emosi positif, dan keterlibatan dalam aktivitas sekolah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan program intervensi psikologi positif di sekolah, seperti pembelajaran bermakna dan pelatihan kesejahteraan emosional untuk meningkatkan dimensi PERMA yang belum optimal. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang berorientasi pada kesejahteraan holistik siswa.

Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial transitional period in individual development marked by identity exploration, the pursuit of independence, and increased academic demands. In the context of secondary education, students face various pressures from both family and school environments. One key factor in overcoming these challenges is the individual’s ability to adapt psychologically and academically, also known as academic resilience. The presence of a father figure in a child's life and the ability to regulate emotions are two essential aspects that may influence students’ academic resilience. This research employed a quantitative approach using an ex post facto design. The population consisted of grade X and XI students at SMK PGRI 2 Kediri, and the sampling technique used was total sampling, involving 67 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS software. The results showed that fatherlessness had no significant effect on academic resilience (sig. = 0.219 0.05). In contrast, emotion regulation had a significant effect on academic resilience (sig. = 0.000 0.05). Simultaneously, fatherlessness and emotion regulation had a significant effect on academic resilience (sig. = 0.000 0.05) with a coefficient of determination of 38.4%. These findings indicate that emotion regulation is a dominant factor in building academic resilience among students, even in the absence of a father figure.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mental health status of Generation Z in Magelang City based on the intensity of social media use. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with 50 respondents aged 15-24 years selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included a questionnaire on the intensity of social media use and a mental health questionnaire. The data were analysed using frequency distribution and percentages. The results showed that 46% of respondents used social media for more than 4 hours per day, with Instagram and TikTok as the dominant platforms. Mental health conditions showed that 46% of respondents were in the poor category, 44% experienced high anxiety, and 40% had low positive emotions. There was a pattern of tendency that the higher the intensity of social media use, the worse the mental health condition of the respondents. The study recommended comprehensive interventions through digital literacy programmes, counselling services, and policies that support the psychological well-being of Generation Z.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis, penggunaan gawai, dan waktu bermain bersama di antara anak-anak prasekolah dalam keluarga milenial. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada fokusnya pada bagaimana pola asuh demokratis, yang dicirikan oleh responsivitas dan keterlibatan orang tua, berinteraksi dengan perilaku digital anak-anak dan aktivitas ikatan keluarga. Analisis data tidak mengungkapkan hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh demokratis dan durasi penggunaan gawai, yang menunjukkan bahwa waktu layar anak-anak lebih dipengaruhi oleh kebiasaan digital orang tua dan pola interaksi keluarga. Namun, pola asuh demokratis ditemukan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan jumlah waktu yang dihabiskan orang tua untuk bermain dengan anak-anak mereka. Orang tua dengan gaya pengasuhan demokratis cenderung lebih terlibat, suportif, dan komunikatif, mendorong perkembangan yang seimbang antara aktivitas digital dan fisik. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya keterlibatan orang tua dan interaksi keluarga dalam menjaga kesejahteraan psikologis anak-anak dan mempromosikan penggunaan teknologi yang sehat dalam keluarga modern.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of school counselor empathy in supporting the career decision making process of Madrasah Tsanawiyahstudents. The research method used is a qualitative method. Data collection methods use in-depth interviews with school counselor, observation, and document analysis. The targets of this research are school counselor at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province. Data analysis in this research is 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, and 4) drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using Triangulation Technique. The research results show that school counselor Islamic Junior High Schools in Magelang Regency apply empathy effectively to build strong relationships with students, help them identify interests and potential, and provide relevant information regarding various career paths. The discussion highlighted the importance of empathy as the main key in guiding students to face future challenges and threats. In conclusion, the empathy of the school counselor at Madrasah Tsnawiyah Magelang Regency supports the students being guided to make further career decisions.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are essential in 21st-century education as they support problem solving, decision making, and reflective reasoning. This article analyzes the implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based assessment as an evaluation tool to measure and improve critical thinking among senior high school students, along with its implications for guidance and counseling services. The method used is a literature review of related scientific publications. The findings indicate that students' critical thinking abilities remain at a low to moderate level, particularly in analysis, evaluation, and integration skills. Key challenges include teachers’ limited capacity to design valid instruments and students' lack of exposure to cognitively demanding tasks. One effective strategy for school counselors is to deliver classical guidance services using Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Self-Regulated Learning (SRL), and interactive media, which foster active engagement, independent learning, and the development of students’ critical and reflective thinking skills.

Abstract

This research examines the significant differences between success stories in the workplace and the reality of toxic productivity in a harsh work culture by critically reviewing academic literature. Using the metaphor of a "golden cage," this research demonstrates how seemingly bright career achievements can stifle one's mental health. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature analysis, searching for references related to a work culture that glorifies constant busyness with toxic productivity, making the sacrifice of mental health commonplace for the sake of recognition from others. The research findings indicate that current "success" often rests on a foundation of exhaustion, loss of personal freedom, and an identity solely defined by how much one can produce. This research synthesises various academic perspectives to reveal the mismatch between the glittering veneer of success (social recognition, financial rewards) and the confining cage (anxiety, alienation, loss of meaning in life). This research contributes to a critical understanding of the need for a more human and sustainable redefinition of career success.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of classical guidance services using the problem-based learning method supported by issue cards in enhancing students’ learning motivation. The novelty of this article lies in demonstrating how a student-centered learning approach can generate a positive impact on learners. The findings indicate that the classical guidance service based on problem-based learning with issue card media effectively increases the learning motivation of Grade XI K students at SMA Negeri 6 Semarang. Prior to the intervention, students’ motivation levels were generally in the moderate to low range; however, following the implementation, all students reached the high category, indicating a gradual improvement in interactive, motivational, and cognitive aspects.
