Abstract

Based on initial observations at Nusantara Islamic School Kindergarten, it was found that most children aged 4 to 5 years still have difficulties in developing their fine motor skills. This can be seen from the lack of hand-eye coordination, difficulty in holding and using stationery correctly, and lack of precision in carrying out activities that require fine motor skills.The research method used by researchers in this study is the Action Research method or Classroom Action Research (PTK). The percentage results obtained at the pre-cycle stage were 10% and cycle II 80%. Based on the results of the table, it can be described that fine motor skills through mosaic activities in children aged 4 to 5 years at Nusantara Islamik School Bekasi Kindergarten have increased.

Abstract

Based on the various problems that arise, the focus of this research is to increase the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years at Mitra Kindergarten. Increasing the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years will be carried out through role playing methods. This research aims to test efforts to increase the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years using role-playing methods. To obtain data, researchers conducted observations, interviews and documentation. During the observation, the researcher prepared an instrument grid and observation sheet.The research method used is classroom action research, researchers use the Kemmis and Mc Taggart classroom action research model. The research subjects were Mitra Kindergarten children in group A aged 4-5 years, consisting of 10 children, namely 4 boys and 6 girls. The success criteria for this research is 80% of the number of children in the Very Well Developing (BSB) category.The research results show that in the pre-cycle 60% were not yet developing (BB), 20% were starting to develop (MB), 20% were developing according to expectations (BSH), 0% were developing very well (BSB). In Cycle I 0% Not Yet Developed (BB), 10% Starting to Develop (MB), 40% Developing as Expected (BSH), 50% Developing Very Well (BSB). In Cycle II 0% Not Yet Developed (BB), 0% Starting to Develop (MB), 20% Developing as Expected (BSH), 80% Developing Very Well (BSB). This proves that the role playing method can increase children's self-confidence.

Abstract

Membaca merupakan sebuah kegiatan yang wajib dilakukan oleh peserta didik, karena membaca merupakan kemampuan awal yang dimiliki peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa kelas 5E di SDN 154 Citepus. Metode dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan melaksanakan pembiasaan dalam membaca dan membuat kegiatan membuat bahan bacaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 31 dari 35 siswa memiliki nilai diatas KKM dalam penilaian hasil baca siswa.

Abstract

From various issues that arise, the focus of this research is to enhance cognitive abilities in early childhood at TK DAHLIA. The improvement of cognitive abilities will be carried out through stimulation from learning activities using the smart box media. The smart box media is chosen as the stimulation method to enhance the mathematical abilities of early childhood. This research will only focus on one issue, namely the improvement of cognitive abilities through the smart box media. The subjects in the research are 10 early childhood children in group A who attend TK DAHLIA. The scope of this research is to analyze the impact of smart box media stimulation on the enhancement of cognitive abilities in early childhood group A at TK DAHLIA. From several models of Classroom Action Research (CAR) that have been presented, the researchers use the Classroom Action Research by Kemmis and McTaggart. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The success criteria in this research are that the improvement of cognitive abilities is at a percentage ≥ 75% reaching a score with the criteria of Meeting Expectations (ME). The results of the research show that the cognitive abilities of early childhood group A can be enhanced by using the smart box media. This is indicated by the average class results in the pre-cycle having a percentage of 33% (BB), cycle I having a percentage of 59% (MB), and in cycle II, there is an increase in the cognitive abilities of early childhood group A with a percentage of 83% (ME).

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the differentiated learning model in mathematics subjects in class 1 of SDN Kebon Jeruk 06. Differentiated learning is a teaching approach that is tailored to students' needs, interests and level of learning readiness. This model includes three main aspects, namely differentiation of content, processes and learning products. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research subjects consisted of grade 1 teachers at SDN Kebon Jeruk 06 as learning implementers. The collected data was analyzed using an interactive approach which included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. results of the research show that the application of differentiated learning in grade 1 mathematics subjects is carried out through adjusting lesson materials according to students' abilities, providing various assignments to accommodate differences in learning processes, as well as variations in learning products produced by students. Teachers play an active role in designing and implementing adequate learning strategies to ensure that each student can achieve learning goals according to their respective abilities. From this research it can be concluded that differentiated learning has a positive impact on student motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics lessons. However, its implementation requires careful planning and adequate support from the school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of improving early numeracy skills in children aged 5-6 years through the snakes and ladders game at PAUD HIDAYATUT TAUFIQ. The research method is classroom action research. Classroom action research is action research to improve the quality of learning practices in the classroom. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is known that snakes and ladders game activities can develop cognitive abilities in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD HIDAYATUT TAUFIQ Bekasi. This can be seen from the increase in children's cognitive abilities in each cycle. In the Pre-cycle there were no children who developed very well (BSB), in Cycle I children who developed according to expectations (BSH) with a percentage of 50%, while in Cycle II there was an increase to 81.25%. The conclusion that can be drawn is that through the snakes and ladders game can improve cognitive abilities in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD HIDAYATUT TAUFIQ Bekasi developed according to expectations (BSH) from Pre-cycle, Cycle I, Cycle II.

Abstract

Fine motor skills are a very important motor development in early childhood. Early childhood education institutions are places where children should be provided with needs-based, step-by-step services to receive advice about their development. Background: Writing fine motor skills is carried out at the age of 4 - 5 years at PAUD ANGGREK VIII Kepa Duri Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. The research was carried out in 2 cycles and 10 meetings held from 3 - 7 June 2024, cycle I and Cycle II were carried out on 10 - 14 June 2024 with 10 children. The research method used is action research (classroom action research). Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations. The results of the research show that fine motor skills can be improved with finger painting activities, as evidenced by the percentage achieved in each cycle of the criteria for developing according to expectations (BSH) of 5 children or 50% in the second cycle increasing to 9 children or 90%. Based on this increase, it can be concluded that fine motor skills can be improved through finger painting activities for children aged 4 - 5 years at PAUD ANGREK VIII Kepa Duri, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

Siti Nurjanah, The Influence Of Honesty Values On Early Childhood Aged 5-6 Years Through Market Day Activities at RA Nurul Ain, North Jakarta (2024). Thesis. Jakarta : Faculty Of Educational Sciences, Early Sciences, Early Childhood Education Teacher Education, Panca Sakti Bekas,2024. This study aims to analyze the influence of honesty character values in early childhood through the market day activity at RA Nurul Ain. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to obtain a deep understanding of the implementation of the market day activity in cultivating the honesty character in children aged 5-6 years. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation during the activity. The results show that the market day activity effectively fosters the honesty character in early childhood. The children were trained to be honest in transactions and to understand the importance of honesty through direct learning in a supportive environment. This activity is supported by the active role of teachers who provide guidance and evaluation, as well as the use of habituation and socio-drama methods. The involvement of teachers in introducing the concept of honesty through stories and simulations before the activity proved to be crucial in helping the children understand the values being taught. The implications of this study suggest that the market day activity can be an effective tool in character education for early childhood. Therefore, it is recommended that other educational institutions consider adopting or adapting similar activities in their efforts to instill character values in their students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti peran regulasi diri dalam meningkatkan kemandirian anak usia 5-6 tahun di TKIT IBS Al-Ikhlas Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan observasional dan wawancara. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami bagaimana anak usia 5-6 tahun mengatur perilaku, emosi, dan proses kognitif mereka untuk mencapai kemandirian. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara semi tertrsuktur dengan guru sebagai pengasuh di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa regulasi diri berperan penting dalam kemampuan anak untuk menyelesaikan tugas sendiri, mengatur waktu, dan mengendalikan emosi. Observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa anak yang memiliki kemampuan regulasi diri lebih kuat lebih mampu menunjukkan kemandirian dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian juga menyorotkan pentingnya dukungan dan bimbingan orangtua dan sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan regulasi diri anak. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman kompleks tentang hubungan antara regulasi diri, kemandirian, dan perkembangan anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki implikasi bagi desain program pendidikan anak usia dini dan intervensi yang bertujuan meningkatkan kemandirian dan regulasi diri pada anak-anak.

Abstract

Nuru Alfiah. Increasing the learning motivation of children aged 5-6 years through the Teacher and Parent Collaboration Program at TPQ Baitussalam, South Bekasi. Bekasi: Bekasi: Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Panca Sakti Bekasi. 2024. This research aims to determine the increase in learning motivation of children aged 5-6 years through the Teacher and Parent collaboration program at TPQ Baitussalam Bekasi. This research uses the Classroom Action Research Method (PTK) which uses the model from Kemmis & Taggart. This research method aims to improve children's learning motivation and parents' thoughts in motivating children's learning. During the research, this classroom action research was carried out in two cycles to see an increase in children's learning motivation, where each cycle consisted of planning activities, action implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 10 children aged 5-6 years. This research was carried out at the Tpq Baitussalam located in Bekasi. The data collection technique used in this research was complete participant observation, which means that in carrying out data collection, the researcher was fully involved in the learning. The research results show that through the teacher and parent collaboration program, children aged 5-6 years can increase the learning motivation. Classroom action research was carried out after seeing the pre-cycle situation, namely 45% had not developed yet. Cycle I showed that 60% of children developed as expected and in cycle II there was a very significant increase, namely 86% of children whom developed very well. This research provides an important meaning in choosing the right way to increase early childhood learning motivation through collaboration between teachers and parents.
