Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the 21st century. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method and was conducted at SDN Bhayangkari. The sample included first and fourth grade teachers, as well as the principal of SDN Bhayangkari. Data collection techniques consisted of interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were processed using qualitative data analysis techniques. This research discusses the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SDN Bhayangkari, focusing on preparation, execution, and supporting and inhibiting factors. The results show that teachers participated in training organized by the education office and the school's IHT (In-House Training) program to understand the curriculum concept, particularly differentiated learning. Preparations also involved planning based on the school’s vision, analyzing students’ learning styles, and developing teaching modules. The curriculum was actively implemented in grades I and IV, including P5 activities, student-centered learning, and diverse assessments involving collaboration with parents. Supporting factors included adequate facilities and teacher training, while challenges involved limited technological proficiency and adaptation to new approaches. Overall, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SDN Bhayangkari has been effective, despite facing some challenges.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the role of scouting extracurricular activities in implementing an attitude of independence in students. This study uses a qualitative research method. The methods used are implementing various activities such as pioneering, breaking scout codes, camping, competitions, and so on, and there are factors from the role of teachers/scout leaders, peers, and parents. The implementation of the character of independence through scouting extracurricular activities in Elementary Schools has been carried out well. This is evidenced by the behavior of students who have implemented the values ​​of independence such as being able to carry out tasks as well as possible, being able to carry out tasks independently, having a self-confident attitude and also being able to concentrate in the learning process. Abstract

This study examines the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of digital interactive learning media based on Smart Apps Creator for teaching fractions to fourth-grade students at SDS Yos Sudarso Medan. The media was developed using the R&D model with the ADDIE approach, consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Validation by experts and practitioners categorized it as "highly feasible" with an average score of 89.33%. Its practicality reached 90%, indicating ease of use for teachers and students in the learning process. The media’s strength lies in its interactive features, which enhance student engagement and present fraction concepts through visually appealing animations. Additionally, this media is designed to be flexibly used in both online and offline learning environments. Its effectiveness was measured through an increase in pre-test scores (67%) to post-test scores (82.5%), with an N-Gain Score of 0.45 (moderate category). The results confirm that this learning media is valid, practical, and effective, with potential for further development in elementary mathematics education to optimize conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of literacy in improving the language skills of grade I elementary school students. As a basic skill, literacy plays a role in supporting the overall mastery of language aspects. This study aims to examine the extent to which literacy affects the achievement of language competence of grade I elementary school students. The population used in the study was 40 students of SDN Dr. Soetomo V Surabaya who were in classes 1A and 1B The method used was quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest design in a quantitative approach. Data were obtained through language proficiency tests that included aspects of reading and writing. Students are given a pretest to find out their initial ability, then a posttest after participating in a literacy program to measure their improvement. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the results of the pretest and posttest to see the impact of literacy on the development of students' language competence. The results of the study show that the literacy program has a positive impact on students' language skills. Of the 40 students involved, 22 students (55%) experienced a significant increase in scores after participating in the literacy program. However, statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference between classes 1A and 1B (p-value 0.653). These findings suggest that literacy can improve students' language skills, although there was no significant difference between the experimental and control groups.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of effectiveness of the teaching methods used, which are still limited and do not meet the needs and characteristics of the students. To address this, the researcher will implement a differentiated learning approach to enhance students' interest in learning. The aim of this study is to determine how effective the implementation of differentiated learning, tailored to the individual needs of students, is in improving the learning interest of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SD Islam Darul Huda through the implementation of the Field Experience Practice II in the Teacher Profession Education Program. This study employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The research was carried out at SD Islam Darul Huda, involving 20 fourth-grade students as the subjects. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are quantitative and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study indicate that the percentage of students' interest in learning in the pre-cycle was 58.75%, increased to 78.05% in cycle 1, and further rose to 92.25% in cycle 2. Thus, the implementation of differentiated learning has proven successful in improving the learning interest of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SD Islam Darul Huda.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of E-Modules using the kvisoft flipbook maker application based on the case method in flat building learning for grade V of elementary school. The type of development research used is the 4D model consisting of 4 stages, namely, define, design, development, and disseminate. The subjects of this study were 26 people and were students of class VA of Elementary School 174552 Tambunan Balige. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and tests with quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of the validation assessment by material experts showed a percentage of 80% with a feasible category, the validation assessment by media experts showed a percentage of 80% with a feasible category, and the validation assessment by practitioner experts showed a percentage of 84% with a very practical category. The effectiveness of the e-module is seen from the results of student learning through pre-tests and post-tests which were analyzed using the N-Gain Score calculation and showed a percentage of 56.43% with an effective category. Thus, it can be concluded that the e-learning module that uses the Kvisoft flipbook maker application based on the case method in learning flat shapes is feasible, very practical, and effective for use in the learning process in the classroom

Abstract

Research was conducted to determine whether there was an influence of the multisensory learning model assisted by the Khan Academy Kids application on initial reading difficulties in class I students at SDN Kedalon 03. This research used a quantitative method with a one-group pre test-posttest design. Samples were taken using non-probability sampling with saturated sampling. From a sample of 17 students and students all participated. The results of the data normality test show that the pretest results and posttest results are normal and have an influence on the results of students' initial reading difficulties in Indonesian language subject content. The significance value in the pretest is 0.062 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that the pretest results are normally distributed. The significance value in the posttest was 0.73 > 0.05, and the posttest results were also normally distributed. In the paired sample t – test the sig value. with a result of 0.000 < 0.05. Sig value. (2 – tailed) < α then HO is rejected. So it can be concluded that the multisensory learning model assisted by the Khan Academy Kids application has an effect on initial reading difficulties in Indonesian language subjects for class I students at SDN Kedalon 03.

Abstract

The aim of this research to improve IPAS learning outcomes using the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by the Engklek game. Teams Games Tournament is a learning model where students are able to learn actively, practicing responsibility for the tasks given by their teacher with their group members. This research uses a classroom action research method which consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews and tests. The research instruments used were interview sheets and test questions. The data analysis techniques in this research are qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research results show an increase in IPAS learning outcomes. In the first cycle of classical completion, student learning outcomes were 55.55% with the "sufficient" criteria and increased in the second cycle to 77.77% with the "Good" criteria. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the TGT learning model assisted by the crank game can improve students' science learning outcomes. Abstract

This research aims to determine student activity and close reading ability through the SQ3R model assited by KOMUNANG media in class V students ad SDN 4Karangrowo. SQ3R  is used to provide motivation for close reading. This model is applied in Indonesian language subjects in chapter 7 subchapter 2 regarding determining the main idea and main sentence of the explanatory sentence. The action hypothesis in this research is that the Implemention of the Learning I Model (SQ3R) Assited by KOMUNANG Media can increase student activity and close reading ability for class V SDN 4 Karangrowo. This type of research is classroom action research which will be carried out in class V of SDN 4 Karangrowo with research subjects of 23 students. This research took place over two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely the planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. The independent variable is SQ3R. The dependent variable is the ability to read carefully. The instruments used were interview sheets, evaluation questions, and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Student activity also increased in cycle 1 from 69% to cycle 2 to 94%. The ability to read carefully also increased in cycle 1 from 74% to cycle 2 to 84%.

Abstract

The research method used is the research and development method (Research and Development) which refers to the formulation of Dick and Carey with stages: 1) Identifying instructional needs and writing general instructional objectives 2) Instructional analysis 3) Identifying behavior and initial learner characteristics 4) Writing specific instructional objectives5) Developing learning outcomes assessment tools 6) Developing instructional strategies 7) Develop instructional materials 8) Design and carry out formative evaluation 9) Instructional System 10) Implementation of Summative Evaluation and Diffusion of Innovation. character is carried out by distributing questionnaires to expert validators and respondents. The results obtained from the design expert get a percentage of 82% "Good and feasible", the results obtained from the material expert get a percentage of 91% "Good and feasible". In the small-scale trial, the percentage was 66%, while in the field trial, the presentation increased to 88%.
